Useful Information
In order to facilitate the Public Security Authorities’ checks at the entrances to Duomo, all visitors and worshippers are invited to collaborate by emptying pockets of metal objects and opening bags. We also inform you that it is not possible to enter the Cathedral with helmets, glass objects and luggage, as well as any other items deemed dangerous by the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo. Large, bulky bags are not recommended inside the Cathedral.
Out of respect for the sacredness of the place, and to ensure the greatest possible serenity when visiting the Cathedral as tourists or worshippers, you are invited to read the Access Regulations related to the Cathedral and Rooftops.
It is expressly forbidden to introduce inside the Cathedral, on the Terraces, and in all areas belonging to the Veneranda Fabbrica, signs and symbols related to movements, associations, and subjects expressing ideologies or political realities.
For the prevention and control of Covid-19, the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo has prepared the necessary measures to allow access to the Cathedral for worshippers, and to the Milan Duomo Historical Complex per tourists, in compliance with all current regulations as well as taking into account the characteristics of the Cathedral and the multiple routes, access points, and relevant services in order to offer a safe and comfortable experience.
