The neroli is very screechy, compared to both the OG and the Dua clone. The bottle looks great, but the scent is a non-starter.

nafihexazor23

smells like a cheap lemon soap. too soapy for my liking. the performance is awful (u can't expect more from this price)

Miguelanski

At first I felt the neroli to be too overpowering and that's all I got. Smelled like a Latin baby cologne. As it aged the citruses started getting better and it's such a good fragrance to wear in the heat.

aziggy97

Smells like a nice sunscreen. However the projection and longevity is terrible.

TayDidIt

i’ve owned this fragrance for about a year now.
straight out the box, i hated it. all i got was florals and neroli. smelled like straight sunscreen and not in a good way.
instead of getting rid of it, i just forgot about it to be honest.
the other day i noticed it in the back just gathering dust so i decided to give it another shot.
now i love it, i can still smell plenty of neroli, but also get the citruses and other florals. maceration has definitely done its thing.

BrokeFragranceLover

Smells like fruit loops flavored sunscreen with a slight floral smell

Floda11

Where to begin... I expected more from this fragrance. I love the scent itself. In my opinion it is 90% the same as TF Neroli Portofino.

A real citrus bomb at the top, followed by a pleasant neroli. However (maybe just on my skin) it is very weak in longevity. It lasts about 2-2.5 hours, during which there is minimal silage for the first 15 minutes. After that it gets completely skin close. Overall, a huge disappointment for me.

Fragrance 10/10, durability 3/10

Once I sprayed, i could smell the strong sweet honey that reminded me of 4711 that i did not like. The good thing is that i hear it does not have good longevity. It is ok but i dont like it. I have about 150 perfumes.

This lowkey smell like fruit loops

2kluke

Smells like an expensive sunscreen. Kinda on the fence with whether i like it or not.

HeidiLynn

Blast of sharp lemon quickly followed by fruity citrus (a la “trix are for kids”) then the fragrance gentles quite a bit to be a smoother citrus musk with a light floral overtone. Fades pretty fast to barely a skin scent (3 hrs). I’ve not tried the original so can’t compare. Not a complex or nuanced fragrance but pleasant.

My nose is new to the fragrance world, and this is a lesson that I do not like neroli as a scent. That's not to say Porto Neroli isn't a good cologne; it's just definitely not my cup of scented tea.

The first half-hour after spraying it on, you radiate the unmitigated essence of just having cleaned the floors at the local community center. It's that bitter citrus and white floral scent that says, "this has been recently disinfected."

After that, though, it calms down. The lavender makes its presence known, and you can pick up hints of sea salt and amber. Despite not liking what I got, this is where I can see why other people would really enjoy this fragrance. It smells like you put on sunscreen and then went swimming in the backyard pool of someone who diligently maintains a flower garden beside it. But not when you're swimming. Like, you just got out of the pool and you're smelling the floral breeze going by. That's what it smells like to me. And that is a nice smell. Just not what I would like to smell like.

If you're new to fragrances like I am, I'd recommend sampling before you blind buy it like I did. But even if you do blind buy it, $20 ain't exactly an expensive experiment to run. If you like this kind of scent, it should be an easy home run.

Edit: After some time, it's growing on me. The floral drydown is increasingly worth the harsh opening as the temperatures rise, and the scent lingers in a way that some other summer fragrances don't.

slava19903

never smelled ford neroli but this frag is really really good and cheap so

Michaelovesfrags

Longevity and projection is really bad and I’m just not a fan of the neroli portofino dna. Smells too feminine to me but the dry down is really nice. Only problem is that you only get 30 minutes of the scent before it vanishes. Smells 80 percent similar to the original. Really is lacking something from the original that I just can’t put my finger on. No one I know really loves this fragrance. They all say it just smells like a weird deodorant. The atomizer and bottle are super nice for the price though. Wouldn’t buy again 5/10

so good

derilsavio

I really like the smell even it isn't close to the Neroli Portofino. A good cheap price, I could say it's worth it. The sillage and longetivity is awful, hope they'll make the new version or a new batch.

28csingley

This cologne smells amazing, I’ve never smelled a Tom ford fragrance but if they smell like this I’ll spend as much as needed. The first time I smelled it it smelled like orange flavored fruit loops with a little bit of floral notes, now this may sound like a women’s fragrance but it’s actually quite masculine. The longevity is pretty moderate and I get about 5 hours on skin. The sillage is very weak but I also don’t like spraying a lot. The overall smell is so good and I wish the performance was better. The smell is like a sour orange, fruit loops and a very dominant floral note. The bottle is a clone which isn’t my favorite but it’s kind of ok. Overall this is a good cologne that I would buy again.

Just got this one in because I have been craving neroli lately. Remember being interested in TF neroli Portofino but I was not going to shell out that much for a bottle of perfume.
It has been years since I've smelled TF so I can't compare/contrast.

I do find this very pleasant in the current weather. It's low 80s with low humidity for the time being and it is perfection for warm, sunny, happy days.

Upon application the neroli is INTENSE- it's the first thing you will smell. Followed quickly by the bright lemon.
I don't smell any orange or mandarin yet.

In the middle I do pick up the orange blossom and it is so lovely blended with the neroli. The middle is where it's at....the brightness from the lemon fades and it smoothed out beautifully!

I haven't found the base notes yet. I don't know if I go noseblind to this or if it wears off. I'm going to test a whole more and update.

Even if it seems a little bit linear I do enjoy it. It isn't fussy, sweet or cloying so I'm hoping it holds up well in the next few hot and humid months.

oconn08

great scent for the price, has a sort of washing up liquid scent, but it smells great for the price nontheless

henrysname

Smells like sunscreen

OneBillion

This is a great daytime summer fragrance. The mix of citrus sweetness and bitterness in the opening is great, and dare I say stands out a little compared to the crowd of aquatic summer fragrances. Admittedly, it is not a performance beast, but for such a cheap price I cannot complain. Also, the bottle looks cool.

marleylaytonlover

smells like a honeysuckle. 10/10

Joshywoshywosh

Smells like fizzy lemon cough syrup, if u would like that defo get this, last very long. Also a very good base to increaste the longevity of perfumes i sprayed this over my spice bomb and i could smell it when i woke up (sprayed at 3pm)

po3tik1

So...

I'm getting potpourri vibes. Like boiling on the stove, or car tree incense. But it's strong and very ambient scent. It's hard to wear

memeplex

A clone of Neroli Portfolino, but so what. Not exactly the same, but definitely more lasting. It is the freshest smelling men's perfume I have ever smelled. It is grounded, not citrusy, only at first, has a 4711 vibe but far more sophisiticated. If you like Neroli scent this is an amazing deal.

chart1931

I’ve been wanting to try one of Tom Ford’s “freshie” scents (mandarino di amalfi, neroli portofino, etc) but am far from being able to drop $3-400 on a fragrance. After reading some reviews on this, I picked it up. Finding out it’s being discontinued and considering I got it for just over $20 on Amazon, I’m pretty stoked!

konnerchase

Absolutely love this cheap fragrance by Maison Alhambra. For just over 30 dollars, I don't know if there is a better cheap summer scent than this. The longevity and projection are average, but for the price of the fragrance, I look over this. The smell just reminds me of going to the beach on vacation. Smells a little like sunscreen, but I love it. Overall, I think this is an amazing unique summer fragrance, and is blind buy safe.

Monke go brr

I would say this is more sour than Neroli Portofino, perhaps a little schreechy. Neroli Portofino is more soft musky, like soft blanket. This is more like cleaning product.

For 10% of the price perhaps not bad. The presentation is stunning. However if you are looking for a Neroli fragrance with that soft musky neroli like Neroli Portofino has, this is not it, although very similar.

Bobchan

I'm so glad I blind-bought this. The fragrance is quite there with the original TF and is a great freshie. It reminds me of spring blossoms, light citruses and ambers. Projection is a bit weak, 1-2 hours max on my skin. HOWEVER, I tried testing it's longevity on my arm once at around midday (2-3 sprays on one spot), after which I went to workout, had a shower, and still found traces of it on my arm on the next morning which left me astonished. However, in the real world where you would like your fragrance to be noticed, I would say it stays on my skin prominently about 5 hours.

Bigmike650

I have a 100ml bottle of this up for swap if anyone interested message me to negotiate a trade deal 🤝

Carterisabukt

Opening Is very harsh but when it dries down the citrus is really good and all the notes blend well together amazing clone price point is great doesn’t last very long prob 4 hours but after you let it dry down and settle the scent is very pleasant for a summer day I would only wear in hot weather

nevinator

very happy with this one! it smells kind of like fruit loops to me with a beautiful musky dry down. literally a perfect copy of neroli portofino. i get around 5-6 hours longevity in the summer as well.

Cch@135246

Hey Guys 👋
Here's a short summary of this fragrance!

Scent:
Starts off very fresh, citrussy and one definately picks up a lot of that neroli (orange blossom).
However, probably since this is a cheap clone, the opening can be quite harsh.
After around 2 hours, it turns into a beautiful amber, musky, soft white floral scent. Gorgeous!

Longevity and Projection:
Lasts around 4 hours, moderate projection.
Not great in this category...but neither is Neroli Portofino.

Bottle looks quite nice, feels premium. The cap and atomizer aren't that great though...
But hey, for that price we can't complain.

Overall, definitely recommend it, it's an amazing summer scent for men and women!

Arcticmanatee

Very citrus forward and fresh. But I have to admit it gives me the port-a-john vibes. I’ll update when I try it further. I might have to quit blind buying affordable Arabic perfumes. I’ve had a few misses. Ok I need to offload this. I’ve used a few sprays but I can’t keep this. If you want it or have a small decant of something from my want list to swap HMU. I have the box it came in. I’m in the Cont US EDIT: this frag has been rehomed.

Patrovsky

I can see why people enjoy this but for me its opening is very screechy and gives me a headache which makes it hard to wear. It is much more enjoyable as it dries down but I can't get past that opening. Maybe I will like it more in the summer outdoors so I will try it again then. I would say it isn't a safe blind buy unless you really like neroli. For the price though it is a great TF clone.

BRAVIUS

Another Expensive Fa cologne

FRAGRANCEBEASTTT

Smells great. Smells like the blue liquid where the barbers sanitize their tools. Extremely fresh, citrusy, noreli-i. I love the smell. Price is great. Performance is so bad after 2 hours it was gone. Almost went home and smashed it on the floor from how bad the performance was but nonetheless, for 25 USD it smells great. Might have to bathe in it for it to last more than 2-3 hours. Lasts on clothes though. 5/10

Kquid

It has a very strong neroli note which gives me a slight headache when smelling up close but the orange and the lemon work so well together and a good fragrance for very hot summer days

davidross

At first I thought, this smells just like a clean, unused, port-a-potty. I still think that’s spot on. The citrus opens very prominent and bright and lasts a long time for what it’s worth. Another review said it smells like fruit loops and that is absolutely spot on. Definitely feel like it leans feminine but not to a tremendous extent. Overall inoffensive, safe blind-buy, but just not my favorite.

parvatishallow

Beautiful, ~meh performance but not terrible for the price point.

drakesy

Looks like neroli portofino
Smells like neroli portofino
Lasts as long as neroli portofino

Costs 20% as much as Neroli Portofino
No brainer for a high heat freshie

Iandz7

Fantastic Clone of Neroli Portofino!! It smells exactly the same, they’ve done a fantastic job with this scent. It’s super citrusy and I love that so much. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a refreshing smell.
The longevity is pretty bad, but I really enjoy just spraying this on myself so I can smell it, it’s a lovely smell.

Porto Neroli by Maison Alhambra:
A nice summer fragrance that is a clone of Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino. Having used both, i far prefer this one, they smell nearly exactly the same yet this is a fraction of the price and the presentation is equally as similar. Performance and longevity are the same as TF NP which is fairly poor but it's a high heat fragrance. It's clean and sparkly and reminds me of a fresh hotel lobby. Aromatic, citrusy and white floral-a safe blind buy imo.

Top notes: Lemon, orange, jasmine, neroli (provides a fresh linen feel)
Middle notes: Orange blossom, lavender, sea salt for a slightly Mediterranean vibe
Base notes: Woody, amber

Longevity: 2.5/5
Sillage: 2/5
Scent: 4/5
Design: 5/5
Gender: Masculine/Unisex
Overall: 3.5/5

Felix Abraham

VERY GOOD CHEAPIE. But the opening is totally synthetic, extraordinary when it comes to mid-down.
Projection: moderate to weak
Longetivity: moderate
Suitable for summer and daily wear

SmoothieOperator

- Accurate clone of a fragrance I don't like.

- The "citrus" here is not really citrus. It's lemon cake, suntan lotion, and... semolina?

- There is zero fresh citrus or citric acid smell.

- Let me be clear... The same applies to the tom ford version. These are good clones. I've just realized I loathe Tom Ford's approach to fragrance (dull, milky veil over everything, zero sparkle).

GoldIris

It's smells okay, but it has this detergent-like accord which makes it a bit screechy. Till this day the best citrus-neroli fragrance is Al Haramain's Neroli Canvas, it smells even much better than Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino and lasts at least 12 hours with great projection.

SirComScion33

Smell reminds me of sunscreen, but that’s how it’s supposed to smell. Very nice unisex fragrance women and men definitely could wear this. Citrus I get first then the floral and fresh notes.

IlFratello

I bought this perfum in the same period of Alhambra/Afnan clones production of more discussed and wanted fragrances (like the Neroli Portofino for this one) and I paid this one 30$

First of all, I can assure that the smell and the notes are really, really close to the Neroli Portofino (like 90% or more):
for Porto Neroli, the Neroli, Orange and Lemon notes on top will completely vanish in less than 1 hour, the bottom notes are almost non evident, the only decent middle note are the Orange Blossoms that last mostly on clothes and provide small sillage after just an hour.

There are more prominent perfumes on citruses, orange or lemon note and probably last more (still hard to fine long lasting citrus perfumes with affordable prices): save this 30$ for something more valuable

Carlysfx1

This is a beautiful, crisp, fresh, summery fragrance. Completely unisex, a bright, citrusy scent grounded with herbal notes and woods. The longevity surprised me, since fresh citrus fragrances tend to disappear. I applied it yesterday evening and it’s still slightly noticeable 12hr later. This is a great choice for a man or woman who wants a beach, fresh, vacation fragrance. 10/10

gentshbn

It smells like barbershop lemon cologne or like hand cleaning wipes you find in restaurants. I can't believe people paid 300$ for TF.

AllThatJaZZ

For the price Porto Neroli is an absolute steal, I haven’t checked out the OG Tom Ford but I do have John Varvatos Artisan Pure and these two are quite similar. Nice fresh and clean frag for high heat and has decent performance, great quality frag that does not feel synthetic at all and is versatile enough to wear year round. Glad I got me a bottle and definitely not interested in buying the Tom Ford one now that I have Porto Neroli.

Nocciola23

This is a breath of fresh air. It is heavy on neroli and (to my nose) grapefruit which is refreshing and summery. As a female I find this quite a feminine/unisex scent - it's not masculine at all to me.
I think it lasts quite awhile (citrus scents are notorious for being short-lived anyway) and projects well - it's very similar to the TF which I have a decant of so I tested side by side. For the price, this is a bargain.

otteromkram

I don't get what they market is for this.

For less money, you can get 4711 and splash it on to your heart's content.

If you want something more masculine and refined, then just wait until you can buy AdP Essenza di Colonia.

BRAVIUS

I blind bought this according YouTube reviewers! As a fan of blue, aqua, marine, ozonic, fresh, citrus, salty summer fragrances, I can confirm that these are none other than a creamy Anti-mosquito repellent tablets!
I'm not talking about the opening here! because I don't care about openings!

Don't buy it blindly if you're interested in what I mentioned above! Don't believe YouTube clowns! save your funds and keep looking

Mountainash

This smells nothing like the original. The base notes are okay but there is none of the frshness or uniqueness of TF. I did a side by side compaeison against my mums tom ford and the difference was pretty clear. This lasts well and might be okay if paired with a really light citrus scent to mimic the top notes, but dont bother with this dupe and get something from zara instead. Its expensive for the lack of depth and accuracy

JR 70

NEROLI. Could not be more more prevalent. However, despite being pretty cheap the longevity is incredible for me. I smell it on clothes the next day and the projection is alright. If you enjoy the Neroli scent you will love this but having never smelled the original thing I can't comment on if its close but for a TF with Neroli in the name it does smell of Neroli. Pretty good summer fragrance and certainly worth it if you don't want to take out a loan for the original.

hommeLhomme

A 1 for 1 of TFs Neroli Portofino, like 99% copy. It's amazing! You literally get a TF for a tenth of the price or even less sometimes!

Moderate projection and longevity:
6 hours on an arm's length.

If you want the classic scent profile of Neroli Portofino/4711. This is a must have! Absolute steal!

mkpunk

Maison Alhambra Porto Neroli is a must buy. It is a blatant knock-off of Tom Ford Neroli Portofino in bottle design and from what I understand, they discontinued it in its current packaging if not the fragrance entirely. I hope it isn't discontinued outright because Porto Neroli is a problem.

I own several neroli forward fragrances. I own Ferrari Bright Neroli, Le Male Pride (2022), Just Jack Neroli and Dunhill Icon. Dunhill Icon is the one out of this pack that is a bit more. When I say that, Icon goes very very woody and unique. Like Porto Neroli, Just Jack's Neroli is a blatant clone of Neroli Portofino. I do not know the note breakdown of Neroli, but it is cheap compared to Porto Neroli. I do not know what it is, but Just Jack's smells more synthetic, especially off first blast. Porto Neroli and Le Male Pride are both smoother. Bright Neroli while not being as synthetic has a bit of a sharp bitter orange note that can be slightly off-putting. Porto Neroli however is a great mix of neroli, citrus and jasmine up top. My comparison, Le Male Pride has a mix of yuzu and blood orange while Porto Neroli has lemon and orange with a slight bright orange. I find Porto Neroli more of an aquatic scent than the rest of my Neroli fragrances due to the pleasant sea salt. I wonder if it is because of the sea salt in the mid. There is also some good lavender to it too. The base is mostly amber and herbal notes.

In performance, I think on Pride is in a better spot but slightly. Porto Neroli wears like an Eau de Parfum and lasts like it. I actually have mixed it with sprays of Just Jack Neroli behind my ears so there less of the abrasive smell from it.

Overall it is amazing. Porto Neroli gets an 8.4 out of 10 from me. Added aquatic to neroli in a way I never thought I needed in my life. If Lattafa doesn't bring this back in some way, I will be let down.

bygcoolrr44

Citrus galore. I like the initial opening. Transitions to more floral and herbal on the back end. One gripe about this fragrance: longevity sucks. Feel free to do 10+ sprays with this stuff and it'll last like 3-5 hrs similar to the original, but I'm glad I don't have to pay the price for mediocre longevity. The original definitely has more things going for it, but this fits the bill and is close to it. You have to reapply this again. Just a fresh scent. Definitely for late spring to summer. Would I recommend it? Yes, if you are willing to reapply 10+ sprays again 3-5 hrs. later.

Steveparadox

Barbershop scent. It smelled familiar to me upon first smell, but I couldn't put my finger on it until I realised it's that of a barbershop spray. Green, slightly citrus and bitter.

I sprayed one spray on the inside of my elbow before putting on a shirt for work. Around 8 hours later the scent is still pretty strong. I could smell it coming through my shirt all day. It doesn't seem particularly strong in terms of projection.

This is quite an old fashion scent I feel and not something I would trust to wear.

noveneer

So Just to add to a comment made below
"Update: Unfortunately this hasn't improved. It still dries down into fruit loops, and the longevity remains the same"
I have to agree, it is kind of funny tbh. I bought this early May 2023,soon as I got the bottle it smelled exactly like the original Tom Ford and performed like it too.

Now? I have to confirm that is smell like neroli for a few secs then settles into sharp fruit loops. Now while that isn't exactly bad it isn't what you're expecting when you pay for a fragrance. It should have the same scent profile throughout it's lifespan, not shapeshift into something completely different.

It isn't that expensive so I feel like it isn't a massive disappointment, I can easily draw for this perfume when I need to leave the house quickly for any occasion. So seeing as I am not the only one who experienced this I guess those reading these reviews should look into something else.

edit : after some quick research on reddit, the original also smells like fruit loops and lemon to others. So I guess after leaving the clone to sit for a while it perfected the original scent. However, if you want neroli then maybe this is not the right perfume to choose as previously stated. It gets slightly smoother after a while of sitting but it is by no means loud especially if your climate is not hot.

anaro

A fantastic fresh spring and summer scent, and for me and my skin, this lasts around 6 hours and projects very well for a maximum of 3 hours. And it smells fantastic, though if you don’t like Neroli, then why are you here? It’s a type of scent that you either love or hate, just like the OG. This is also a mature scent and very unisex, and for the price, I bought it for $25. It’s an excellent scent for the money and smells close to the OG.
I rate it 9/10

JasKiew

This is nice but the performance is very much below average even if it's oversprayed. After an hour or two it's gone, hardly a skin scent after that as well. You'll probably have to reapply every 2-3 hours. Such a shame because after the initial sprays it smells good.

lukaspriest

I just got my bottle of this. The opening - all I can smell is super intense grocery store sunscreen, like I'm 8 years old again and struggling against my mother who is determinedly smearing it on my face before letting me go to the pool. The scent of sunscreen is so strong and pronounced, I don't know how anyone could describe it differently. When I sampled Tom Ford's original Neroli Portofino at Dillard's, I must confess that I didn't test the opening, I just sprayed it on a strip and then took the strip home to let it dry and then smell it an hour later (the dry-down is the important facet of fragrances to me - how's it going to smell long term?). Its scent was incredible, unique, exotic, and unlike anything I had smelled before. I absolutely loved it but didn't want to pay Tom Ford prices for it, so I was really looking forward to trying this cheap clone from Alhambra. I have to say that I am incredibly disappointed, and I would say that it smells NOTHING like the Tom Ford original. If you have smelled the original, do NOT go looking here for an accurate clone. To me, it doesn't even smell like it's the same DNA. So, disappointment from the utter lack of scent similarity aside, once it dries down, it does have a very pleasant, light, floral, undeniably sunscreen-like fragrance that is indeed nice and attractive smelling. Not to beat the horse dead, but this smells like the conglomeration of an entire CROWD'S sunscreen applications all mixing in the air when you're at a water park. You'd blend right in. I would ONLY wear this if I was actually going to an aquatic activity or poolside environment. Borders on feminine, but I wouldn't be afraid to wear this, and I swear that I've read somewhere that women dig the scent of sunscreen. Maybe I'll wear this someday. Maybe. 6/10

Amazing 10/10 ! Thankfully I ordered a back up bottle.

Review from someone who has been wearing this a lot over the summer : The opening is a little harsh and for the first 5 minutes does come across like a bathroom but.. after that is starts mellowing out and giving off a lovely bitter and floral scent. It is amazing in summer as it is not an overpowering scent and clawing but leaves a delicate scent trail everywhere I go. I have had many compliments on this one. The scent is definitely Unisex with maybe a slight inclination towards feminine due to the white florals but this is easily worn by Men.

Recommend to spray about 8 times to get the 6-8h longevity. Whilst Sillage doesn't appear that strong directly to my nose, I have had my girlfriend be able to smell me from a couple meters away even after spraying on hours before hand.

Clean and Fresh scent that makes me want to smell my wrist ever couple minutes. Soothing and Delicate!

8.5/10 - Not point buying the Original when this is better once the first 5 minutes of bathroom smell goes away.

Try this : Spray a little bit on freshly changed bedsheets. You will have the most calm sleep that night.

Fisaji

I was excited to receive this when I bought it I got and tested and it smelt like liquid soap or surface cleaner won't be buying again

Ahmed Fafhil

really good and nice alternative for bvlgari wood neroli only its longevity it moderate, spray it at least 10 times for 4 hours sillage.

spritzspritz

Porto Neroli is sticky sweet and stanky sharp. On me it is indeed sharp - it cuts through environmental distractions and demands my attention. I think it dries down much more smoothly on him than it does on me, but he doesn't like wearing it, oh well.

Update: my MIL ended up loving it and I'm glad it's getting some appreciation!

@GreatGatsby007

I bought 3 after the ‘discontinued’ murmur went round. I’ve given the FF and NP dupes away since. Utter garbage on my skin. The OW clone is OK to good, but these clones have put me off buying any more.

The YT pushers are misleading and people should read a few reviews first. Myself included.

I won’t be making the same mistake ordering clones again. Tom Ford might want to buy a couple and have a good laugh at them.

GreatGatsby007

I'm a longtime wearer of TF Neroli Portofino. A combination of getting to the end of my TF bottle and hearing that, due to lawsuits, Porto Neroli was going to be discontinued, I grabbed a bottle for under $30, figuring 'what the heck?'
Just smelling the fragrance from the bottle, it's almost identical to TFNP. On skin though, it starts off pretty close, but the dry down is very artificial... a combo of Fruit Loops and cleaning products. Not an offensive scent by any means, but definitely not a match for TFNP, at least not on my skin.

Palmer Eldritch

I bought this a present for my dad, since one of his signature scents was TF Neroli Portofino.

I kid you not, he thought this was TF and started spraying with happiness, only after I told him it was a clone he had to double take on the bottle and scent.

tl;dr This scent is close enough to Neroli Portofino to bamboozle someone whose been wearing it for years.

Hoesayabz

Yep straight up baby cologne. But I do enjoy the smell. Not something I would rock out in public. This a good relax at home type of cologne. You wear this for you to enjoy as it is has some soothing qualities and it's not cloying. Wife said it smell alright.

blood_and_wine

Smells really good, but I don't think this can be used as a fragrance. It's like something you want your clothes to smell like, not necessarily you. Citrus and white floral is exactly what this has and not much else really. The opening is kinda meh, again with a heavy dose of citrus, but once it dries up a little bit that neroli comes in and it's awesome. I haven't tried the original TF so idk how close it is (and never will, they can shove their 200€+ bottles up where the sun don't shine ;)).

Performance is average to below average. Bottle is quite nice I love the blue color. The box is also higher quality than you'd expect for the price, but it's the typical Lattafa TF dupe box.

7.8/10 Good

Chiru

I've tried the OG TFNP, Ferrari's Bright Neroli, Artisan Pure, a few niche houses, and now this dupe. I'm always on a lookout for cheap but high quality neroli scents as neroli is my favorite note. It's a banger, with some caveats.

Porto Neroli opens up as a 1:1 of TFNP. Lovely floral neroli bliss. Absolutely gorgeous. And then the opening disappears almost instantly. It settles into a sweet, fruity, artificial base that is pleasant but not really what I expected. I get straight up sugary Kellogg's Fruit Loops. LOL. I'm not kidding. Open up a box of fruit loops and take a good whiff. That's what the drydown smells like. It's like a high-end designer bowl of fruit loops. I do really like it, and I am going to keep it, but it's not really what I was looking for in a neroli scent. So with all that said, I think this just needs to cook. All the Lattafa TF dupes I bought seem to need maceration. Most fragrance companies have various in-house maceration periods before production release. Lattafa was probably pumping these out as fast as they could due to the rumored discontinuation/lawsuit. In my experience, most UAE fragrances I have needed maceration anyway. So far it's a like from me that warrants revisiting in a month.

Update: Unfortunately this hasn't improved. It still dries down into fruit loops, and the longevity remains the same. Bummer! Keeping it because it's fun, but won't be repurchasing.

Stock61863

Packaging and bottle are top tier and made of quality materials. However I did not like the scent. Smelled like a mix between fruit loops and laundry detergent.

WojciechLozko

I haven't smelled the original Neroli Portofino so I cannot comment on similarity. Opens up very fresh and floral, reminds me of lemonade almost. As it dries it becomes more floral and aromatic. However for me the performance is weak. Ok sillage but lasts max 3 hours on me, and becomes a skin scent after 45 minutes. Would recommend just for the presentation and it being a decent cheapie :)

Eaufresca

When I first smelled this scent I didn’t like it very much but it has grown on me. I let it sit for about a month and now I’m really enjoying it. Thinking of buying a backup bottle before it’s gone.

Orangeboom999

Fabulous dupe of a much more expensive Tom Ford offering

A super nice, outdoorsy floral scent with a super interesting bitterness

This fragrance Is super nice overall and smells just like a walk across an overgrown beach, great for that outdoorsy person who loves walks in the forest, right by the beach.

To me the most prominent notes are the bitter orange, some of the more green notes such as the wormwood and the “herbal notes” and obviously the Neroli and Jasmine.

The bitter orange and neroli are prominent at the opening, both of which are obviously bitter and make the fragrance smell pungent and very sour. However in a nice way. Then in the dry down, it becomes much more floral with Jasmine and green with the wormwood. As well as a hint of something sweet, although I’m not sure what material gives it that impression. Overall it smells kind of like sunscreen, probably a combination of the Neroli, orange and wormwood, and light green and woodiness

It’s a super unique fragrance and combines into something quite daring and unusual. The extreme bitterness of this is what’s so unique about it but also the combination of notes that give it a green impression are very unusual

This smells like a boy in his late teens who lives on the beach, in one of those beachfront homes on stilts. He spends all his free time exploring the coastline, and more importantly the un tamed woods behind them. He spends his summer days walking down the various rivers banks full of mud and clay that flow into the ocean. Knots of roots from trees and various other plants and hearty flowers shoot out from the sand and dirt as well as the sides of the steep decline lining the river. And after a long day of exploring, he treks back home with the scent of the water and trees on him. While I’ve never seen the show outerbanks, I have been there and this reminds me a lot of my time there, and I’d imagine that is how the shows characters smell.

It’s good for warmer climates and can be used in spring and summer however due to how this fragrance really conjures a picture of beaches, I think it’s best used as a designated beach scent.

It lasts a fair ammount for this type of fragrance. You can count of 3-4 hours but after that all bets are off. It’s good Enough for an event fragrance.

Most people seem to like it but it’s not a sure thing due to its bitterness. Don’t use this as a mass appealing fragrance because it is somewhat divisive. That said no one I asked has disliked it, they were simply not crazy about it.

I got mine before the news of discontinuation so I paid like $20. But people are paying $40+ for it and they are happy... that kind of sucks because when Alhambra rebottles this juice they may retail price it for more because of today's price due to hype of DC. I would not pay $40 or even $30 for this fragrance because I choose not to. The fragrance itself is great, it smells great. That cool aquatic, soft white floral is amazing and puts you in a good, uplifting mood. Performance is average. Which is not surprising because of the scent profile. Alternatives are 4711, Nikos Sculpture and Versace Dreamer. But there is a good chance that Alhambra will re-bottle this fragrance so dont buy a backup bottle for $40+..

JustMyVibe

Having smelled TF Neroli Portofino only one time, it smells similar. Maybe some differences but I'm not familiar enough with TF NP to know. Either way, this is what I was hoping it was going to be.

schopde

So i finally gave in to the hype and ordered this. One can see the similarity the TF OG but this one is identical to Jacques Bogart Story Blue to my nose. Anyways, I'll let it settle in for a few days and try it again to see if anything has changed. Typically, with the inspired versions, my experience is that they smell & perform much better after you let them settle for 10 days.. Just spray 10-15 times prior to let some air into the bottle & then park it for approx 2 weeks. Trust me, it works. Apparently, this "Maturation" (not Maceration) works.

Ryanmmas26

Al haramain killed it with this scent and I will NEVER buy Neroli Portofino because of how great this is !!!

This opens up very fresh, bright, but also very smooth and refreshing and gives me that fresh laundry by the stream type of vibe. As it dries down you this gets less bright and more rich and smooth ! Very simple but pleasant scent that’s perfect for casual or business casual events in the spring summer and actually smells more expensive than it is !!!

In comparison to Neroli Portofino I’d say this is more green and I don’t get a semi-aquatic vibe with Porto Neroli.

In comparison to 4711 this is definitely more modern, less floral and not as sharp and bright. I actually was hoping for something more similar to 4711 and this fits that bill perfectly !!!

Performance- You get decent projection for 45 minutes before it quickly dies down to a skin scent. The longevity on this is actually impressive though !!! This lasts on my skin 8-12 hours but you will smell this randomly throughout the day when you move and people will smell this when you get close which makes it perfect for work.

With this scent profile this performance is perfect as Neroli is great if it’s light and airy but if it’s thick it gives me a headache. However, if you want something strong I’d recommend Neroli Canvas !!

Overall rating -8.5 out of 10 !!! Excellent smell that Will be a staple in my fragrance wardrobe for the summer months and I love 4711 but it’s not exactly reliable in terms of performance so this is a great replacement

Sidenote- I saw some people saying this smelled similar to suntan lotion and the first 2 times I wore this I DID pick that up but after the bottle sat for a while that went away and I was left with a better more modern version of 4711

DiBonD

Best Alhambra dupe IMHO. Currently my favorite daytime wear.

Wess9248

I got this two days ago a'd didn't like it at all nor it did last. Should I mancerate it?

spcmiller

Just received a bottle of this and wanted to annotate my initial impressions (I have both NP and Forte): this is ~85% like Neroli Portofino--the top is spot-on, but as it dries down it begins to feels more divergent than its predecessor. At this moment, longevity and sillage are both dreadful, but I suspect with some age it will grow into its own. Paid $50 shipped on eBay, so no loss either way. This doesn't feel quite as accurate as Lovely Cherie does, but I'm glad I took the risk. I guess time will tell.

ZeeK

First impression! Pretty much same vibe as Alfred Dunhil Icon (2015).

JusttheFactsMan

#121 on my "Tour de Fragrance" of 250 scents in 250 days. This is basically water with a little lemon zest. Literally makes Cuba Paris' $7 scents seem like beast mode by comparison. The only thing that this has in common with Tom Ford is the counterfeit bottle design. Yacht Man Blue is $6.50 and has better projection (this has none) and better longevity (you can overspray the hell out of this scent and still barely get a scent of lemon wax furniture polish). This went straight in the trash bin.

Whateverwhocares

Worth the buy. Layering potential and can standalone. Scent takes a little while to get good but it does get there. Has mild B/O vibes but not really in a bad way.
Semi-sweet, masculine cologne. Traditional and mature.

MrBill

Well my wife just bought me a bottle. I like it, but I'm not in love. It really just smells like Sunscreen to me. For the price it's a fun summer fragrance. I wouldn't bother with spending a fortune on the TF original.

JLD87

Well, I bought Neroli in the past twice, this one is perfect clone and a bit stronger with more longevity.
Love it.

JusttheFactsMan

#121 in my "Tour de Fragrance" of 250 scents in 250 days. Clearly the gods punish clone purchasers because this stuff is scentless crap. After an initial blast of alcohol what came through was an infinitesimal hint of a white floral votive candle, and a cheap one at that. You can stick your nose right in it and smell zip, zero, nada. The ratings here must be based on an old formulation because this bottle is completely free of any scent components. But now I know to stay away Alhambra's clones. Just glad I didn't order any others before this arrived.

Wesley Lee

Before I watched different YouTubers video talking about this clone, youtubers described as very Citirus forward with white floral. Which interested me.
So I went to smell the original TF Neroli Portofino, it isn't that citrusy, but definitely reminded me that I smelled this from somewhere before. But couldn't remember and after a while, I finally brought this clone, since it's discontinued.
Today I finally sprayed this on, it smells exactly like the original TF one, n actually it's really seasalt prominent and white floral with little Citirus in the opening, and it remind me of those seasalt bath that u get in those Luxury hotel, which isn't for citirus lover. But to me it's quite interesting and unique. Best for summer and goin to the beach.

For performance I know I need to let it seat for while first to test the real thing.
But today I get a decent projection and longevity isn't bad at all for the first time.

juice.world

Smells sooooo good this is Neroli Portofino pre reformulation when it was richer and better in every way. I know because NP has been a staple in my collection since 2015.

Drxy81

Put on at 6:40 am (8 sprays) and could still smell it at 5pm, barely tho. Projects 1-2 hours. Amazing scent, my girlfriend loved it on me. Idk how to describe the scent but imagine the smell of sunscreen spray that you spray at the beach or pool, but in the sexiest way possible. I have to admit the fragrance was quite weird to me, it had to grow on me but I love it because nothing in my collection smells remotely close to this. I thought it was a unisex fragrance, but after asking a few people to smell it on me, they said it leans a bit more male. I haven't smelt the original but for 30 bucks this is definitely worth it. I heard its being discontinued so buy now when you still can.

Toiletcrusher

For me this one isn't something I'd wear as a standalone scent. It's too much like lemon Pledge / bathroom cleaner. Where it does shine (for me) is as an accent note when layering. Wearing Missoni Wave plus Porto Neroli is a good example (if you can get over how synthetic Wave is.) Since this is being discontinued I'll be buying a backup bottle pronto - you can't beat the price.

colleen_like_jolene

Enjoyable scent, great packaging, nice atomizer. I introduced oxygen into it upon receiving and into the perfume closet it went for 5 weeks. I don’t judge a scent from Arabian Houses until they’ve had a month or three to sit. It macerated really nicely! I wasn’t aware it was being discontinued in its current packaging, glad I picked it up. Maison Alhambra is a solid perfume House. Fragrantica needs to add their line on here to open up reviews.

eaudeeve

Don’t waste your money. These cheap, synthetic Arabian dupes are not worth the hype they are getting. Smells like cheap grandma perfume (Slava Zaitsev Maroussia). Headache inducing but weak projection, extremely volatile.

amateurnose

So yeah...as of 26/05/23...this will most likely be discounted due to pretty well-known obvious reasons. Stock up before it's gone. For good.

Nursesrock

Finally got mine this afternoon costs me 19$ it's a fresh blue aquatic fragrance perfect for summer time at the beach or da pool .. it reminds me of cool water by davidoff

Philippe De Montauvant

Great scent; I got myself two backup bottles this morning. Hurry up, folks; all these Tom Ford clones by Maison Alhambra have been discontinued in their current form. Estee Lauder was very cross, it seems.

Claviator

Flowery! Jasmine is the most prominent scent here. A bit of soft citrus, bergamot, in the first 15 minutes.

Reminds of washing-up liquid/dish soap.

Eating on a plane or in sushi restaurants you sometimes get a wet wipe with your meal. Often with a synthetic citrus/floral scent. The resemblance is huge.

This is more of a female scent to me. The flowery smell maybe suits an older lady?

I like it though. I'm a man and could wear it in a hot summers day at a nice restaurant by the Mediterranean. Dressed in white linen fabric clothes. And a dorky Panama hat. Ladies in their 60-70s would comment me smelling nice.

Younger women would not, because they're used to that modern abroxan/vanilla heavy cr*p everybody uses nowadays.

And... It's way cheaper than the Neroli Portofino, and very, very close.Personally I wouldnt buy a dish soap scent named Tom Ford for 350 euros/dollars. But maybe this ..?

Mina Abdo

Solid cologne of Tomford Neroli Portofino, better performance and projection.

La Nuit Noir

Great Tom Ford Neroli Porifino clone!

Neroli-centered fragrances are super simple but this does it just right - clean, citrus, & aquatic.

Clean & fresh neroli at the forefront with hints of orange blossom & lemon.

Amazing for hot weather.

LHC8912

Worn this on a warm summer evening. Lasted from 6pm to 1am (as I'm writing this), I can still smell it on my skin now.

The scent is so pleasant, clean and reminds me of a 5* hotel lobby for some reason.

I know the reviews says it's mostly day time, but I think it absolutely worked on a warm dry night too.

CitrusMuskLover

I love this scent. Being a citrus lover, even I was taken a back by the overpowering citrusy opening. However, after it starts to settle the dry down is where it starts to shine. Definitely makes me want to be on a beachy vacation, with toes in the sand. I have not smell TFs original but I am one who prefers getting several fragrances for the price of that 1 bottle. So, I am quite satisfied with MALHs version. As I am typing this I am testing scent strips by layering this with MALH Barogue 540 and BBWs Iced Lemon Pound Cake. I want to see which sweeter fragrances grounds this Porto Neroli while I am wearing as a stand alone on my skin. I love it!

SgtButtCheeks

This is one of my favorite fragrance buys so far.
Is it a shameless dupe of Neroli Portofino??
Yes.
Same exact bottle, same exact smell, same exact vibe?
Yep.
Here’s the thing…If there was no such thing as TFNP would I still want and own a bottle? Hell yeah.
It’s absolutely delicious. Perfect summer cologne. I live in south Florida and I’m in the pool and at the beach all the time. Every time I’ve worn this it puts me in an aqua state of mind and it’s my most complimented cologne I’ve worn to date.
One of the first things I did when I got into this game was look for a fragrance that personified the beach. First thing I found was ERL Sunscreen. It’s quite good but doesn’t perform and dries down a little stale. Porto Neroli is the exact opposite. I sprayed some on before I went to the pool yesterday and I was in the water for over an hour and a half. I still had the scent on my skin when I got out.
The dry down is even better. Every time I wear it my wife says she smells sunscreen and baby powder. Maybe that’s not everyone’s gig. I can only speak for myself…and I. Love. It.
The neroli opening is fresh and citrusy. Very refreshing and clean. It’s basically the beach in a bottle. Mixed with orange, lemon and jasmine, it’s quite amazing.
The middle of orange blossom, lavender and sea salt set you up for the wormwood/amber base that gives it that baby powder on your skin vibe.
It’s a chill scent but I wear it to work and get tons of compliments and always always always get asked what I’m wearing.
Now here’s the best part…TFNP is $300 retail for a 3.4oz bottle. I bought my 2.7oz bottle of MAPN for 40 bucks. 40 BUCKS!!
My allegiance is to my wallet and the 40 spot suits me perfectly.
I said all that to say this…I will definitely always own a bottle of Porto Neroli. Or two.

Jelboy1

Just received my bottle this morning. To me , and this isn't a bad thing . It smells exactly like a Turkish barbers shop. I've been to Turkey many times and as soon as I smelt this , thats what it reminded me of. Its identical to Tom Ford Neroli Portifino . Its gonna take some getting used to if you're not a lover of Neroli scent. There are some zesty notes in there. It's a very blue fragrance. So if that's not your bag , then steer clear of this. I think if you go heavy on the trigger then this will be a beast and people will certainly smell you from a distance. I'm gonna keep testing to see how longevity is .

sniffer 65

Chemical sunscreen smell is quite strong. Neroli flower, orange blossom and jasmine dominant. The citrus is gone after 15 minutes. I smell no herbal notes or amber in the base. There is no contrast, no notes that play counterpoint the flowers. A one trick pony. If you like these florals, and don't mind the sunscreen smell, this could work for you, but it doesn't work for me.

Gods180

I really like the scent - proper summer smell and for £22 I wasn’t disappointed with the blind buy. Longevity is about 2 hours as it’s a really fresh smell, but you’ll struggle to find fresh scents that last longer.

jakehey

A very good value buy, the packaging is nice, and the scent is a pleasant synthetic fresh citrus. Fair warning it does remind me a bit of sunscreen so if you really hate that smell perhaps avoid. I'm not a guy who connects scent to memory but it does kind of bring me to the beach. It lacks some of the depth of its TF inspiration but for the price point I'm really happy

windchime_00

No more so-called "dupes" for me. Yes, it is citrus and neroli and yes it is lasting and projecting, but extremely synthetic. I love citrus and neroli fragrances and have several that are weaker, so I thought at the very least there will be some occasions where I will still be reaching for this heavy duty one, but several months later and I just can't bring myself to pick it up. I prefer the other ones.

If beast mode is your preference though, then you might appreciate it enough to overlook this, but if it is just cost consideration, then go for the many other options like Nenuco, 4711, Tartine et Chocolat, or Neroli Woods for a variation on the theme. NW in particular varies and is more masculine, but it manages to be fairly lasting without as much of the overdone chemical feel.

PeteTheScentaur

Rough opening then its a floral bouquet spray down with Pine Sol. Dry down is like a citrusy fabuloso. All in all for the price tag a decent daily , Spring /Summer scent.

Jasonofthemarsh

A little medicinal like cough syrup at first, but shines in the dry down. Whoever can justify TFNP since this exist, I wish I had your cash flow, because even if I did, I'd only display the TF bottle and I'd still use this. The open is a tough 5 minutes, but it's worth much more than the price eludes to...if you don't like neroli, you won't like this, not enough citrus to make you forget it's there. BRIGHT and FRESH, 110%.

KnightsD

Only had this for a day, so if anything it will get stronger- and I’m happy with the projection/performance. So far I get an hour or two of solid projection, but on clothes it has stayed over 24 hours. It smells very fresh. Definitely resemblance to 4711, but a bit more depth. There’s a sunscreen kinda note, along with citruses and white florals. It’s gorgeous. As a man in his thirties, I can comfortably say this will work for anyone.

aliidom86

I had low expectations of this fragrance and didn't want to buy it, but found it for a deal I couldn't pass. That said, it's a total win in terms of scent profile, quality, and performance. It smells exactly how I thought it would; crisp, refreshing, and uplifting.

I was expecting 2 or 3 hours of longevity but got at least double that on skin. I sprayed some of my t-shirt and I could smell it 24 hours later, granted that I only wore that t-shirt indoors, so make of that what you will. The projection is mild, which is expected for this scent profile and price point.

This is a great pickup if you're looking for a Neroli Portofino clone/interpretation, or a neroli scent in general.

Ace22

I have this and I work with fragrances on a daily basis including Neroli Portofino and I can say that they're very similar but there are some differences. The biggest one is that the orange bitters that Neroli Portofino has aren't as present with this. They're still there but it's nothing like the original in those terms. Everything else is spot on though with the florals. I'd say it's 85%-90% close but not spot on for me. For the price though, it's a great pick up of the NP DNA. I'll definitely be buying this again when mine runs out.

Khanh3443

Imagine that you have TF Neroli Portofino with the price = 1/6 but x2 longevity, insane !
The quality of the bottle/Box look really good too, how can people hate this one, for me it 10/10, so good and so underrated

FFlaviu

It smells like a cleaning product.
For me, it is the worst choice I could make among many other perfumes.Thank you

Sullii

Smells like suntan lotion, really doesn't last long.. Nothing special

soothingscents

Probably said so many times however very fresh and most definitely a late spring and summer fragrance. Mostly for the day time however I would wear it during the evening as well. A pleasant and remarkable citrus opening note that eases up on the dry down and pushes the lavender and amber through. Weak longevity for me pushing 3 hours max until you're tempted to refresh with a few pumps.

mustafaabidali

Very clean, fresh and floral unisex fragrance and I would say its 95% like TF's NP. However, there is one big difference. TF NP is possibly the worst performing fragrance in terms of longevity. Will last for maybe 1 hr to 1.5 hrs tops on skin and gone! It is unimaginable paying such a huge price for such a weak performer.

On the there hand, Porto Neroli by Maison Alhambra is a solid performer and stays on the skin for a long time. It is very refreshing and does a good job for the price.

So go ahead and try Porto Neroli by Maison Alhambra and you will not be disappointed. Even you are disappointed, it will not break your heart paying such a meager price as compared to TF NP.

I am not mocking TF NP, its a great fragrance in terms of smell, but for the price and the longevity it does not deserve much consideration.

Well done Porto Neroli by Maison Alhambra, you are here to stay in my collection !!!!

Jackonium

Porto Neroli Maison Alhambra is fresh, its clean, unique, very aquatic. The Neroli, white florals is beautifully crafted. Its DNA reminds me of Versace The Dreamer. They are not the same but the DNA is similar especially the white floral notes.
Give it time to set and embrace the fragrance. At first spray i thought it smells a bit like detergent, but once it kicks in, my goodness it is beautiful. If you like Neroli Portofino, you will like this one.
Performance is long lasting. 11 hours later i still get compliments. But that is because i am generous with the trigger, inside and outside of arms, behind ears, clothes, everywhere. Then another dose 10minutes later, and few more sprays for good measure. So dont do that.
Silage, a lady came to my office and said i can smell your perfume from there and pointed a few feet away and this is 11 hours later since i wore it so i take it has strong silage.
When you take into account what you pay for this juice, it does an absolute stunning job. A perfect take on TF Neroli Portofino. This was a blind buy for me and i am quiet impressed with everything.
Due to the unique nature of this fragrance, i wouldn't say its a safe blind buy. You have to love Neroli and floral notes. Therefore if you do, it is a must.

Kaysarr

Incredibly good, but it takes time to develop. Don't judge this by the first 10 minutes. It smells too generic at first. The first minute smells like pure alcohol. It was an instant regret and wanted to return it. But then magic happened and it developed to one of the most pleasant marine smells that I cant get enough of. It's light oranges and jasmine in a powdery mix but done masterfully well. This smells like quality. Haven't tried the original TF so can't say how close it compares to the OG.

Again, very recommended. But don't judge it based on the first 10 minutes. 😄

Harmpeene

warm weather fragrance with 7 hours performance at maximum and sillage is slightly below average but it is noticable. I mostly get citruses, slighly sweet neroli, salt, amber and green notes. For 30 bucks it is quite good. It looks like a TF neroli portofino clone but I never tried that one.

DeanLavy

How is the performance of this one?
