Gosh I love this- but can’t seem to ever get into wearing it. It’s beautiful, feminine, elegant, mature.

Smells like a well put together older woman who is equally sexy, elegant and assertive - but not forcefully so.

I wish I’d reach for it to wear out more often, but it’s not an easy reach for me. I will forever go up to my cabinet and sniff it though.

katiesimpsonhair

This is a no no! I don’t understand the hype??? It smells like old lady bathroom cleaner. The rose is old and musty.

LedumPalustre

I read from reviews that this is a sexy scent, best for nights out. Sure, it can be this as well, but it is also wearable for everyday. I feel that I can wear this anywhere (even as a green scent lover who usually wears pink scents only at home around bedtime). It is so delicate with it's perfect musky-fruity-floral balance. Nothing mind-blowing, but it is just so pleasant and comforting, it makes me feel good, and safe. The plum is so soft and mild, the rose is abstract, not realistic. It is an idea of a rose. The lasting power is quite good, but it does not last the whole day. I just love the sniffs of it I get during the day.

indigoface

wooooow. wow.
this is really hitting all the right scent associations for me. my immediate impression of the opening was this very nostalgic, almost incense-y rose, slightly woody and peppery. my mother has always been pretty hippie/spiritual, and this so delicately reminds me of the tarot shops she would sometimes take me to as a child, and the gorgeous, free-spirited women we'd meet there.

that is not to say that this is an outright hippie scent -- definitely not. this is an elegant, crowd-pleasing perfume with just the wittiest little wisp of witchiness in the background after the dry-down. this smells like a woman who is grounded in herself and her femininity.

i disliked Pure Musc for its laundry sheet vibe but this is totally different; i really agree with the comforting "dark feminine" thing that others have brought up.

MaxieF

This is what a hot vampire would smell like

Maggs001

Tested this months ago and i was not impressed by it..
Tested it today and now I can't stop sniffing my hand.. she is so gorgeous!
The opening is meh, I didn't like it but the drydown is intoxicating .
My biggest complaint is the performance, it is weak. By the 4 hour mark, it was already a skin scent :(.
As much as I like the smell, I can't pay so much and not get the value for the money.
Fleur musc, pure musc, rouge (edt and edp) and poudree has far better performances.
So unfortunately I will pass on purchasing it BUT I won't say no to receiving it as a gift

bogidimitrova

Sexy and feminine scent. Everybody compliments me when I wear it. Definitely a night out scent or maybe like for a date.

Right so like many of you guys here, I jumped on the bandwagon and bought this blindly after seeing the hypeedddddd TikTok videos about this.
I ordered an 8ml sample and honestly when I first sprayed this and for the first 30/40 mins I smelt a lot of rose. And I HATE rose in perfumes. My only exception is idole. I don’t know why a lot of people on YouTube say they can’t smell rose at all, maybe everyone has a different smell. However after the rose went away there was something soft and comforting about this smell. It smelt mature definitely which isn’t something I’m used to but I just kept wanting to smell my hand. I kept getting whiffs and thinking oooooo that’s so soft and creamy. However, my husband didn’t like it boooooooooooo! He said I smelt like I was a middle aged lady in Bradford lol cuz they wear a lot of strong mature perfumes. I kept trying to make him like it however he just didn’t. Sometimes when he doesn’t like a perfume on me, he likes the skin scent it turns into a few hours later or the next morning but THIS he just DID NOT LIKE.
He felt the same way about Zadig and Voltaire this is her but I loved it.
Sooooooo I believe this perfume is more liked by females than men. Same goes with the this is her. I believe girls would definitely compliment this perfume when I have it on.
The longevity is very long. I sprayed this on my top and wore the top for 2 days then a week later was about to put it in the wash and could still smell the perfume. The projection I don’t think is that strong, unless you overspray but I don’t think this is the type of perfume you should overspray. It smells better on my skin than on my clothes. On my clothes the rose comes out more. On my skin it’s more creamy.
TO CONCLUDE MY ESSAY ID LIKE TO SAY THAT I WILL STILL BUY A FULL BOTTLE BECAUSE I LIKE IT THAT MUCH!
And to be honest, I think because so many people love this is making my brain believe I like it more! But I don’t care haha I’m still buying it! My husband can tell his nose to go on a summer holiday for all I care :D

Clean laundry musc
Vanilla milk toffee, makes you hungry
Plum
Skanky animal musc, which smells a bit like burnt dirt and wood with lichen on it.

I have hundreds of perfumes in my collection. I know that's insanity, and I'm not saying this to gloat. I am saying that to add gravity to my feelings towards Musc Noir Rose. When I say that is one of the most divine, gorgeous, and stunningly beautiful fragrances that I have ever smelled, that says a lot. Aside from owning many fragrances, I sample many as well. I sample many niche, designer, and indies alike. I often smell something and think "Yeah, that's nice" but that'll be the extent of it. This, however, is my current newfound obsession. I started off with a travel size that I got on clearance at Fragrancenet. I thought I'd just make do with it because I have a large collection and I surely will make this last a while. However, I have the desire to just bathe in Musc Noir Rose for the foreseeable future. Yes, I have a massive collection. Am I going to ignore my collection for the time being as I have a whirlwind love affair with Musc Noir Rose? Yes. I wore this to bed the other night and woke up still smelling gorgeous. It had turned into a skin scent by morning, however, I did two sprays on my shirt which were still going strong. This scent is just stunning! I cannot reiterate that enough. This has very quickly skyrocketed into my top five favorite fragrances of all time.

sabrenasnow

Gorgeous scent - I have CK Deep Euphoria and the dry-down of both are very similar. I am hoping that layering the two will increase the lasting power.

natalijaostojic

A perfume that blew me away. Powerful, warm, sexy, cheeky, sensual, unforgiving. If I tell you that I already have 6 bottles that I keep in the safe, then you know what kind of obsession it is. My image of this perfume is a barefoot woman, in a dress above the knee, with long dark hair, loose and wavy, wild. Let me add, don't always look at the ingredients, because if I had looked at what it was made of, I would never have bought it.

perfumepearl

It is a very lovely scent, fruity yet musky. It's a sweet musky plum scent. Very beautiful, perfect for every occasion <3

Betmenzhvilla

When i first smelled this fragrance i immediately fell in love i sprayed the tester on myself and already had a confidence boost, then i bought a bottle and right after i already felt like buying a backup that’s how OBSESSED i became
Not too sweet but sweet enough, i personally get headaches easily from some scents but this one doesn’t give me one, it’s so addicting and it lasts days on clothes absolutely beautiful

Encici

Sexy, sweet, fruity, musky, smooth, simple, modern, versatile, fresh, elegant, ageless, mysterious, enchanting, calming.

Lilium86

A beautiful fruity plum fragrance, but once I bought the large bottle, literally after 1 and a half hours it's gone. Whereas the sample was more persistent. I tried with creams underneath but nothing, it disappears. However, I noticed that by putting it in a purse decant, after some time, perhaps due to the maceration or evaporation of the alcohol, it lasts much longer, at least 4 hours. From now on, I will do this, but it's a shame anyway.

Amtaha

This smells like pas ce
Soir!!!

jassca99

Narciso Rodriguez Musc Noir Rose is like the original Musc Noir but strengthened by rose and no longer an extreme skin scent in performance or smell. The original was like a clean leather musk with watery fruity plum bubblegum essence. Not too sweet but just enough. This is like that but with a sweet rose-plum jam added to a subtle violet-tuberose bubble gum essence, that isn't cloying or syrupy sweet, aerated by musk. The vanilla is apparent and is what sweetens the rose and plums. Musc Noir Rose starts stronger compared to the original. It is intimate/low-moderate but can be moderate when over-sprayed.

I can totally see the comparison (plummy vanilla) to Cheirosa 40 which can be medicinal to me at times, while this is more refined with the vanilla-dark fruit combo. Also maybe a likeness to the fruity vanilla and pink pepper in Valentino DBIR original and intense. The vanilla also reminds me of the one in Kayali Silk Santal 36 and Burberry Goddess but less sparkling. The rose similar to LV Spell on You and others but more jammy.

smrtcookie

The first rose I really liked. Surprisingly, I loved it even more on warm skin in hot weather. Mostly, I feel an amazing mix of rose and pepper, so beautiful and feminine. Too sweet and fruity when it's cold for my taste.

pinkfairygumdrop

OMFG this is soooo good.....went to Macys looking to buy a new Spring/summer fragrance, I knew i wanted something floral- but not too floral, with vanilla/deep dark sexy jammy smell, and after like 45 min of circling the perfume counters like 4 times I stopped on this one AND OH MYGOD THIS WAS IT. this is so seductive, sweet but floral richness, the plum really elevates it. this is rose done SEXY. I am obsessed. I want to wear this everyday. Hell I might even buy a backup bottle, I couldnt stop sniffing my wrist. And I just had a huge perfume haul where I bought like 5 other new ones.....BUT THIS. I wanted to gatekeep this but something this good is hard to keep secret. you want a spring/summer delicious, deep rose INTOXICATING fragrance, GO TRY THIS. I think this is blind buy safe. I am in love

edit: I love this more than anything I bought at NM last month. obsessed is an understatement. bought a 100ml backup. this is heavenly.

villorea

Musc Noir Rose, to me, is very calming :) I don’t sense any elements of “noir” to it, other than maybe the fact that it helps me to sleep at night? I’m getting into the habit of wearing this to bed to help me relax.. and over-spraying actually helps it last throughout the entire night into morning. I also wore this on a walk with my dog, the scent cloud followed me and I kept catching whiffs of it while I was moving. It wasn’t too strong to the point of overbearing the scent of other flowers growing in nearby bushe. As in, one of my neighbors grow lilies and I could still smell them when I walk past it, while also being able to smell the fragrance over-sprayed on myself. :) Pretty!!! But honestly, I initially much prefer the scent of the OG NR Musc for Her. Something about it is miles beyond better in comparison to MNR… I only smelled it once, with a side by side comparison and I cannot get it out of my mind. I only decided on this way back then, due to the amount of hype it was receiving and because it made me feel sort of left out for not having it in my collection. Once I run out of this one, I’ll make sure to go for the black bottle instead!

This is a love, but the original felt smoother, more harmonious and well blended.

Norasjisic

I’m obsessed 🤩 I’ve been wanting this for ages and I finally got it. To me it’s very vanilla floral rose gold and it’s so classy. Some might say it smells like a grandma but I don’t think so, I feel like it’s timeless and powdery dark feminine goddess. Really seductive and sexy 💞

Erianwyn

This is a very well blended but plummy and rose heavy, jammy musk and to me it is beautiful and a summer evening classic that makes an elegant contrast to the coconut suncream style perfumes for the warmer months. (Not bashing those, I love them. But this is an excellent alternative scent profile for the heat).

A word of caution though, she is powerful. I have a sensitive nose and can’t handle more than 2-3 spays. Longevity, projection and sillage are almost beast mode too, so definitely get to know this one before you get trigger happy!

For comparison, it’s not the same scent, but the most similar fragrance I have in my collection is La Nuit Tresor by Lâncome. The quality of ingredients and the blending are in the same ballpark too IMO.

Santje

I love the Narciso Rodriguez Musc For Her range. This one is the best of them all. It is ultra feminine, soft, elegant, alluring, classy and intimate. It manages to combine all these things and proves you don't need to be loud and overpowering to be noticed. A quiet, elegant beauty with a sensual side. A woman who knows what she wants and what she is worth. Musc Noir Rose is soft and powdery but the clean musk together with the fresh rose, plum, bergamot and pink pepper prevents it from turning "old" and make it a perfectly balanced blend. She feels like a welcoming warm embrace. Compliment getter. An absolute masterpiece. Signature worthy.

Eden2earth

A sensual musky rose with pink pepper. It may be generic to some but i find it quite alluring.

FattyFox

Musc Noir Rose For Her by Narciso Rodriguez is a well blended pink pepper musk with a delicate, subtly sweet rose that persists in the drydown. It offers an effortless wear, striking a balance between muskiness and sweetness without being overly rose-centric. Moderate in both projection and sillage, it’s a versatile fragrance suitable for any occasion, offering a pleasing scent that won’t overpower.

laurenruth

A wonderful perfume. It leaves behind a delicious silage. Everyone loves this perfume. I totally understand why it went viral. It never smells outdated as some have written below. A perfume that is as feminine, sexy and timeless as possible. I definitely recommend it.

Blossomlove

At first, off the blotter, I wasn't impressed and wasn't getting the hype. It smelled like a dated rose fragrance from decades past. I tried it on the skin and got a completely different experience so this one really changes on the skin and must be tried on before judging it. Once applied, the magic started to happen and I got some of the DNA of NR Original and Musc Noir. There was the same spiciness as in Musc Noir which I loved. The roses started to bloom and the pink pepper and floral notes came alive and I started to get the hype. I think I still prefer Musc Noir And Fleur Musc but this is still a strong contender for a sexy rose musk scent. It's just so wild how different roses can smell within each fragrance and through the different houses. This is a more classic rose note than say the rose used in Roses Musk by Montale. Perhaps this is more on an English Rose than a Turkish or Bulgarian rose. It's a big darker of a rose, like a deep red or burgundy rose. I love pink pepper and rose together so I'm glad to see that in the composition. It's a bit like Musc Noir was combined with Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper by Kayali. The only note I don't really get is the tuberose. I'm definitely going to be layering this with Musc Noir for the added heliotrope and suede.

schatzrose

Soft, rosy, sweet and cosy smell and it does not have the soapy touch to it that Musc Noir has. I was expecting it to be stronger than Musc Noir based on the reviews but it is not really the case. I wouldn‘t even mind wearing it in Summer.

cookygirl

I came here not to bash this fragrance - because I can recognize that it is very well done even though it is not my jam - but rather to warn those who might blind buy this specifically for the rose note referenced in the tittle.
This scent is a musk/vanilla bomb on me with barely a nod to the rose.
I don't consider this inoffensive either. If you don't like the signature Narciso musk and/or vanilla-centric scents then chances are you will find this unwearable, as I did.
However, this scent is not in the category of fragrances that I cannot bear to smell on someone else, rather something that I personally cannot wear.

Noelustra23

A fragrance you can wear anywhere and anytime. Super duper inoffensive, crowd pleasing and (most importantly) not too pricey.
When it dries down you're left with a decadent musky vanilla that sits close to the skin, you can't help but to smell your wrists from time to time.
Beautifully done, can't stop wearing it lately ♥️.

nakota

My first impression is that it is like Dior's Poison Girl EDT and Marc Jacobs' Decadence had a baby. A very sophisticated, elegant and alluring baby, with much more taken from Dior and stripped from additional sweetness. I easily see it as your new favourite scent if you like Poison Girl's profile but sort of grow out of it.

I'll update that once it sits with me for a while.

L'égyptienne

*Blind Buy : it was in fall 2022, bought it from a duty free based on 2 reasons: my magical experience with Narciso Rodriguez for Her and based on the curly scent reeview with her partener- kinda their recommedations match with my taste
*First experience: as i wear it during fall and winter, my nose never detect the top note of plum as my experience Musc Noir, only pepper from the top notes.
10-15 mins: i reach immediately the phase Musc, tuberose and vanilla which continue with me up to 4-6hrs
* Second experience: a very good longetivity and a compliements getter from men and woman
* Style and mood: i prefer to wear in cold weather only, when i am wearing my black leather coat and my high boots, liberating my black curly hair and nail the experience my red lipstick - Mac WERK WERK WERK.
**ps: be caution to not overspray in summe or you gonna have this stomach burn
nauseated feelings
Et voilà! l'experience d'une égyptienne

qianqian

It reminds me of La Vie Est Belle, which I already own. It's not as sweet, but the structure is similar. Not bad but the drydown gets too musky for me.

MichelleSouza

I Agree with @scnofthcrime this is a nighttime scent -dark. I thought I would get a sweet musky/fruity perfume but instead on my skin, I get a sour plum for the first 30 min/1 h, which is a little dark and with no sweetness at all. After 3 hours of wear, it becomes a soft skin scent.

scnofthcrime

One of the few fragrances that I think actually fits the bill for "dark feminine" if you're into that aesthetic while still being easy to wear for most people. A syrupy, moderately sweet musk accented with vanilla, rose, and plum. Projection is intimate, but lasting power is quite good on clothes.

ambervxyjul

The sexiest fragrance to exist. Not pretty, cute or beautiful but SEXY. Leather, fur coat, red bottom heels. Perfect date night scent. The vanilla and amber mixes so well with the syrupy plum and jammy rose. It’s intoxicating! Musk definitely is the prominent note but it’s a sensual deep warm musk. I’ve been complimented on this and even someone handing me a drink in the drive through said I smell really good. A head turner perfume!

widowcat

Such an easy reach. This smells sweet, but mature. I think the plum and musk dominate the scent in the beginning, but in the dry down the vanilla and rose start to come in. It just smells so pretty and I think this can be worn year round for any occasion.

petra_ita

Inoffensive, sweet, pretty girl scent. Not my favorite Narciso, but it's an easy reach kind of perfume that suits most occasions. Maybe not on a hot summer day because of the vanilla. Classy, but youthful sweet rose perfume. Stays close to to the skin on me. I love the musk in Narciso perfumes, but it's barely detectable here. I's say it's a safe blind buy too.

Darling of Disquiet

I just realized that I ran out of my bottle today. Due to Christmas and everything I've had going on I genuinely forgot about it. I had every intention on getting another bottle because lemme just say that I absolutely love this woman here. Sexy, classy, mysterious. Everything I wanted it to be. I'm definitely going to be getting another bottle but I'm not in a hurry. Just figured since she was on my mind and I was looking up deals that I'd add a comment on what a gorgeous fragrance this is. If this seems like something up your alley then I would say to go ahead and grab it. It's my favorite Narciso Rodriguez and that's saying something due to how beautiful I believe the majority of them are. Signature worthy imo.

Hesssa21

I smelled this a few years ago before the hype when I was trying all the narciso rodriguez perfumes in the store and I liked this one the most out of the others I tried. In my opinion it's very simple but feminine. I was thinking to purchase it at that time but it didn't seem to last that long at all. On clothes, I'm not sure. On skin, it disappears so quickly. However the main reason why I didn't buy it, is because I feel like it's a very light, airy perfume which is not my vibe. It's classy but I don't think it's unique. Perfect for gifting but overall generic.

jadepo21

Wow, this is stunning. So warm and inviting in an utterly sexy but very sophisticated way. It’s plummy, floral, sweet, and musky all at the same time. Can’t keep from constantly sniffing myself and going, “Daaaaaamn, girl. You smell good.”

yuser99

I am in love with this scent, it is a beautiful jammy rose and vanilla. The initial spray is quite strong and “mature” smelling but once it settles down it is the loveliest, prettiest scent suitable for all ages (>20 y/o). With just one spray on fabric you’ll be getting wafts of it for the entire day. Beautiful! My absolute fave!
Good for all seasons, any time during the day. Perfect for rose lovers.

Msala140

Even though suede isn’t listed on the notes like the Musc Noir, I still get this suede like scent on my skin which I love . Opening is citrusy and peppery . Then comes in the beautiful rose which is slightly mature with the plum giving this some juiciness along with this suede like smell . I only wish it stuck longer on my skin I get about 3 hours of projection before it becomes skin scent

ShayChan

I had to try this when I saw it in store and lile most perfumes, it's the initial blast of the first spray and top notes that got me so I bought it. Howevere,I have to say; lasting power is not teally there, it sits really closr to the skin. There is that Narciso dna but with rose and some pink pepper. The drydown is pure vanilla and rose for me and now I know for sure that a vanilla and rose combination is NOT my thing.
It might be a lot od people's thing it's just not mine. So I will humbly finish my bottle and leave Narciso alone, the price does not justify a skin scent 🤨 My BBW lasts as long as this smh. Live and you learn 🤷🏻♀️

ShinningLightOfThunder

Wow, such a gorgeous slightly fruity rose scent!

Medenasovicka1

I´m not sure about this parfume yet, just got it half an hour ago. Can´t decide if I smell like an old lady, or classy but provocative young lady sipping on a red wine in a jazz club. I think I´ll go with the second one, because I really like the scent, but this parfume definitely has to be worn with a confidence, there is a very thin line between those two options.

Update: I absolutely adore this! I´m excited to wear this every time I go out in the evening. I think this scent is really special. For me it was the best blind buy:)

Bit4

I tried this at the airport and within two hours I ran back to the duty free shop as it was closing to get myself a full bottle. This is a gentle warm syrupy and powdery rose with plum, and while it basically disappears after a few minutes on my skin (maybe I become noseblind to it), it makes a triumphant return in the next hour and lasts on me throughout the day (seriously, my best friend and I could still smell it after 12 hours one time). While it starts powdery, it dries down to a syrupy floral musk that is quite sensual and classy as well. While I would not wear it in hot weather (MAYBE on a cool summer night), it fits nearly every other occasion for me and that it why it is a top shelf scent and very much worth the hype

alischulze

This was the most successful blind buy yet. This fragrance has me in a chokehold. I would bathe in this if I could. As a beginner in exploring fragrances, this is a perfect introduction to musk notes as I found it to not be too heavy. I can imagine wearing this during the winter months for both daytime and night. It doesn’t last the longest on my skin and the silage isn’t great either but I will just have to try more sprays to get more out of it.

yuser99

Love the dry down of this one. Opening is a bit strong

noneya88

Thank goodness the opening disappears within minutes because I an way too young for that... the dry down though!? So creamy and feminine!

jess_M

Not similar to the Musc Noir version.

I was researching trying to find people discussing the difference between Musc Noir and Musc Noir Rose but I couldn't find much. I bought both.

Musc Noir Rose :
- That base note of vanilla is very prominent throughout
- Very creamy scent
- The plum is more delicate and hovers in the background

Musc Noir vs Musc Noir Rose:
MN is an easy reach scent during summer, even in Australia's humidity. It's great when you want a light scent that smells delicious in the heat instead of reaching for the basic citrus summer fragrances. It has decent longevity and you can't over spray it. It is relatively linear, it's not a perfume that changes over its wear. But still smells yummy and carefree. Not overly mature and yet not childlike boring.

MNR is more heavy because of the creamy vanilla. I wouldn't say it's more mature than MN but it is better for night time or cooler weather. I wouldn't say it's anywhere near as musky as the original For Her, but it still has that soft fluffy pink vibe to it when you spray it.
MNR to me is just soft fluffy rose powder mixed in vanilla.

Though they are very much different perfumes, somehow they layer together quite well. The vanilla of MNR gets balanced out by the freshness of MN. The creaminess of MNR gives more longevity and grounding to MN.

NOT BLIND BUY SAFE!!!!
Get a decant first! Trust me!

At first sniff, i was shocked by this scent, which in my opinion smells nothing like people's descriptions of it. That being said, after this dries down its really pretty.

The initial blast is super powdery and mature. I'm not calling this "old lady" at all BUT I was immediately transported back to the scent of whatever perfume my grandma wore. She passed away when I was a little kid so you can imagine the shock of a scent memory long forgotten.

The rose is there. She's present. But it's not the main character. In the dry down you can feel the plum and vanilla come in. I'm not sure I would ever really describe this as "sweet" but it's not sour or tart in any way. Definitely powdery and musky.

Edit: I've become obsessed with this and decided to get a full bottle. The musk is like nothing else I own and it's a vintage vibe that's still modern. The final dry down gets softly sweet and the scent trail is intoxicating. I don't know how I'll survive once this is inevitably discontinued.

blackamethyst

Just got a sample to test it and I'm already rooting for this perfume. It's amazing.

tosel3

BADDIE certified fragrances. Compliments for days. Praying she never gets tossed aside. I LOVE HER.
I picture the most beautiful plum iridescent dreamland when I put this on. This is powdery ROSE plum FAIRY QUEEN done right.

scschroeder

i wanted to love this sweet and floral scent, but it’s a bit too powdery for my taste. also not as musk-forward as i would prefer.

RoseG

BEAUTIFUL. Great as an everyday scent. So feminine, floral and sweet. I get so many compliments when I wear this and it personally lasts for a long time on my skin. Such a comforting, beautiful and an addictive smell. Just amazing.

stefani valini

This scent is incredible, its sweet, floral and the plum make the scent more juicy. The tuberose is sweet and soft otherwise I wouldnt like it because I hate tuberose. (The same kind of tuberose of L'Interdit rouge) Its a little bit powdery, this is my favorite discovery of 2023.(I know I am late)

If Hot couture EDT add a mom, it would be it. Its not similar at all, but I feel both have a narcotic feel. Its so addictive. Its sweet, floral and fruity with a hint of vanilla who complete the scent... seriously this is the best designer perfume I smelled. It will probably be my next signature scent.

In my opinion this scent is perfect for every occasion. Its grown woman kind of scent but not oldish. Like sofisticate boss lady scent, confident woman.

ingrid.superstar

Trying this again today, I was immediately reminded of Bvlgari Splendida Tubereuse Mystique! Both have a fruity, bubblegummy tuberose heart flanked by a fruity opening and a smooth, creamy, vanilla drydown. I never really noticed the tuberose in Musc Noir Rose much until now. If you're feeling bold about the comparisons of Musc Noir Rose to Poison, and are in the mood for something else retro, maybe try Cacharel LouLou as well.

thaochipnd

The longevity on my skin is quite poor, only about 4 hours. This is a seductive fragrance, it reminds me of JPG La Belle, which is exactly the La Belle + Flower version. In my opinion, buying a full bottle is not worth the money because the longevity is terrible.

Rating: 7/10. Don't let the name fool you, this is not a Rose scent

stephm42120

Reminds me of my late Cuban grandmother. Very fruity & plummy like red wine.

Ninamariah

I felt that I needed something easy into my collection. Something classy yet comfortable and cozy, something delicate and not so unique. Sometimes I feel so exhausted that I don’t even have power to understand my own mood. If I wear some bold scent with a big character while feeling like that I just get confused. With these two scents I don’t have to think absolutely anything, no weather, neither clothes, not even how I really feel.

❓Do you recognize that mood?

Musk Noir Rose

I fell in love with so many scents from NR while trying to find something inconspicuous, almost imperceptible yet attractive and sensual. I love the powdery clean musky dna in them, they are like a tender hug, I feel like I’m wrapped in a enormous fluffy cashmere blanket escaping this cruel world. Musc Noir Rose has a sweet twist in it from Plum and Vanilla. All of them smells irresistible on cloths.

Delightful very crowd pleasing mix of flowers in a warm woody base - I don’t find anything so “noir” in this one but there is a gentle breeze of warm spices. The scent is seductive and traditionally feminine. It’s delightful but it doesn’t force me to be in a good mood. I want an extrait of this one as well since it shoud have that “noir” confidence boost in it. Haven’t tried it though.

heartstopss

i get mostly pepper (in the beginning) and vanilla (later on). its got a nice woody smokiness at first i love, then cozy sweet vanilla as the day goes on. my skin tends to eat perfumes and this is one of the longest lasting ones i’ve tried, i don’t need to reapply all day, so it gets big points for longevity. its a sexy scent, ideal for evenings but it’s versatile & you could get away with it in the daytime too. signature scent worthy for sure

Smeraldina77

I already have Musc Noir which I like very much. This one is indeed very similar, but I really like the added tuberose note and I am debating whether to buy it as well or not....

Both are very soft, musky, fluffy scent, but with a sensual, bit carnal note given by the plum and tuberose.
They are very feminine and sensual, but also very elegant, perfect for every occasion.
I find them both more suitable in cold months.

Woodamber

A soft and wellcomposed scent, with notes of florals, musk and vanilla.
The florals are quite blended in Musc Noir Rose. I don't smell any tuberose at all. A loss for me whom loves anything with prominent tuberose. But if you are hestiant to try it because it has a note tuberose and rose in it, then I would recommend it. Nowadays I find that alot of modern scents has notes of tuberose that are very soft and blended, so they are barely noticable.
Musc Noir Rose smells elegant and feels like a crowd pleaser. The note of plum is also quite soft but becomes more known in the drydown.
In comparison I do enjoy Musc Noir much more as a scent. But that is because of its prominent notes of heliotrop and plum. Maybe I need more time with Musc Noir Rose.

yukikiki

This is a sweet syrupy fragrance thats dense but also not at the same time. It's not thick or heavy like My Way, but the heaviness is present if you focus on it. It's so well blended that nothing really sticks out like a sore thumb. A fruity musk that is sweetened up by the vanilla with just the right amount of florals to keep it from being overly fruity and fresh.

I don't tend to gravitate towards floral dominant fragrances, and even less so for tuberose and rose. So if you're like me and are worried about those two, just give this one a chance. The tuberose is there to add another layer of sweetness to it, but it doesn't steal the show. And the rose is there to add another floral touch to give it complexity but it's not the center of attention either, and grounds the sweetness together with the musk. Plum, musk, vanilla, and hints of tuberose is what I get.

I do sadly get somewhat anosmic to this after an hour. It's like it's playing peek a boo because I can still smell the fragrance somewhere, but if I stick my nose to where I sprayed it, I can barely detect it on my skin - clothes are slightly better. But once you start moving, the waft is just heavenly. It's this fruity sweet syrupy concoction. I wouldnt say this is your skin but better scent, nor would people think this is how you naturally smell, this is a few notches too sweet for that to be the case.

It also has a sense of maturity to it because of the musk. Not saying it's got an "old" vibe, but more like a "grown up" vibe. If you've got a mentality that matches that, this will fit just fine. The plum does remind me of Poison by Dior (don't own, only smelled in store) but it's only in the sense that they share the plum note. They're completely different fragrances.

In comparison to the original Musc Noir, this one is sweeter and fruiter. I wear MNR any time of the day, but if I had them side by side, Musc Noir would be day time and MNR would be night time. I also tried to wear this in the office and this is just too sensual for that. Musc Noir would be a better bet if I had to choose between just the two for an office fragrance.

Faeriecoma

This is a powerful perfume. One spray and I could smell it everywhere. The musk is a little strange for me like metallic smelling. I don’t smell the plum I’m not too familiar with that scent. This perfume smells almost identical to K’Bridge by Xerjoff, I’m surprised I haven’t seen the comparison on here. Overall I think this is a lovely nighttime perfume.
Edit: this also smells so similar to Kate by Kate Moss.

Zana1970

Yesss it is a adictive perfume and I am a sucker for it, because you will go fast through your bottle, you need to overspray like a crazy one to get some projection! Shame...it needed to be stronger, but the smell, oh I love the plum in it!
It definetly can't pull through cold weather!

C_Phippy

I really enjoy this perfume. I’m 30 and found this to be a mature, modern, sexy, evening perfume. A lot of my favourite notes are in this fragrance (musk, pink pepper, vanilla, plum) and it’s not super rose forward.
This would also be great if there was a woody note.
I definitely get the plum and vanilla notes and will use the bom dia bright cream by sol de janeiro if I want to play up those notes. I think if you find this too mature smelling then try the body mist cheirosa 40 by sol de janeiro. They’re not dupes by any means, but if you’re looking for plum/vanilla scent that’s more playful, sweet, and budget friendly.

mothtoaflame___

(Collection)
This is sweeter than Musc Noir, but with a nice rosy floral aura and the warmth of vanilla. I wish it had more spice to give it a darker edge, yet for me it checks a lot of boxes as a modern fragrance, which could easily transcend its contemporarity.

aleckzandurh

Nice enough, but neither here nor there. The tuberose can be a bit bubble-gummy at times, but not grossly. Smells like it could be your friend’s mom or something. Mostly floral and musk with a very vanilla base. Almost like a body cream. The regular Musc Noir is prettier to me.

chiaraherself

Tuberose Endgegner again 😭 I really want to like this but I can’t.

Thiara95

bumblebri

as with most people, i was excited to smell this perfume because of the tiktok girlies and when i saw it in the paris airport i internally screamed and immediately smelled the tester bottle. i was HOOKED. it smelled so pretty but not like anything i personally have in my collection so i sprayed it on my wrists and then it went downhill from there :(

after about 4 minutes i didn’t like it anymore. my skin LOVES to pull musks and florals forward (not my preference) so all i could smell was a very basic rose scent like something that came out of sephora. honestly, it almost smelled very mature, like i was too young for it. i think most rose scents smell like that anyway, but i really didn’t think it was special. not worth the hype or selling out tbh.

my girlfriend even sprayed it on her wrists too as she also liked it and after a few hours we were DYING to scrub this off our arms. v disappointed but that’s why we take social media reviews with a grain of salt

anwee

One of my favourite scents, I just LOVE this, but it disappears so fast, at least in me, so the bottle goes fast. Not to much floral, a little spicy/smoky but also soft, elegant but with personality, so so so good.

Sassafras23

In response to the comment below, actually, most people who downvote probably know how it all ends and do it anyway. Such conscious downvoters do share in the responsibility with the administrators. Tolerant people do nothing if they disagree with what is just a negative opinion. Offences can be reported to moderators instead.

autumnblue914

Responding to the person under me - people downvote the comments but it is up to the site and administrators which feature the site has and how it displays it. So the people don't do it to make negative ones disappear, they do it to show disagreement, and it is out of their control in this case what the site does with that. I do wish it was a numerical system but also I understand how complicated and difficult it would be and how many issues it could cause. Regardless, it is what it is, all the reviews we write here are just sharing our experiences and it varies a lot from person to person so no review should be taken as absolute. Whatever is written and whether it is given +100 or -100 votes means nothing. What matters is people going out and testing the perfumes on themselves and seeing if they like them. There is no use getting bitter over something pointless and blaming the wrong people.

Now to the perfume.

A while ago when I tested it on a blotter I remember getting a lot of that ripe plum and then mostly musk and vanilla. I remember smelling no rose. Now smelling it again after so long, probably due to a mix of this time being on my skin and also of my nose having improved more over time due to lots of sniffing, I get quite a different experience. I mostly smell the musk and the rose, just a hint of plum and pepper, and a slightly sweet vanilla. The rose is watery and transparent.

Quite a pretty scent and extremely versatile. It is a light scent, just a bit noir given the plum. I do get where people get the sexy date scent from, but also I don't consider it NSFW. I feel like this is the type of perfume that can be a signature scent that works no matter the occasion.

It lasts and projects decently but can always be improved with body lotions or petroleum jelly.

Will wait and see over time as I wear it how the perfume and my nose change.

annamal

It is insane how the people downvote the comments they don't like so the comment dissapears. This is actually stupid, as this is my opinion and not only positive reviews have to stay. If you like it- just pass my comment and enjoy the fragrance, maybe someone else, with the same nose as me will find this comment useful.

I do not like any of Narciso Rodriguez perfumes, they smell so pretty in the bottle, but then you spray and you can smell cheap ingredients, they don't blend well, they suffocate everyone around with mainstream notes, they are loud and boring. Musc Noir Rose is the same. On me it just smells like a car refreshener- cheaper one (since now they make very decent car refreshers). Tuberouse, plum, rose and vanilla- deadly combination for everyone around. It is not sophisticated or complicated, reminds me of teenagers in the club. Actually that's where you should only wear it- to the club. People where I live overspray this and Black Opium in a heat weather during THE DAY. So everyone around them suffocates.

Just no.

P.S. It is a "cheap" perfume, to the point that I have got a rush on my wrist after spraying it on (God knows what they have mixed in there, never happened with me before).

russianprincess98

This scent is so pretty! It smells like a clean bed of rose petals... aquatic, flowery, clean, sweet, skin-to-skin, warm scent. So comfy, yet so classy. The rose scent is not overpowering at all (it’s more rose watery than full rose), it's balanced beautifully. I normally dislike florals but she's so unique and soft ♡

Ninamariah

I felt that I needed something easy into my collection. Something classy yet comfortable and cozy, something delicate and not so unique. Sometimes I feel so exhausted that I don’t even have power to understand my own mood. If I wear some bold scent with a big character while feeling like that I just get confused. With NR’s scents I don’t have to think absolutely anything, no weather, neither clothes, not even how I really feel.

Rose is more noticeable than in others but it’s not “noir” in any kind of way and it’s not so natural smelling Rose, it rather stays very abstract.

All NRs smells very light on skin but irresistible on cloths. I will write the reviews of others later in the near future.

Divine grace

Social media madness made be buy this fragrance and I had high hopes that this will be a great perfume 😌 but alas after getting it n my first sniff it smells so leathery sweet boring scent definitely not worth the price. A fail blindbuy. It smells similar to Elizabeth arden Always Red and her 5th Avenue Royale.. in fact these r much better lasting n price is so affordable.

Hifza

Very chic and bold! Though, I find it very sweet for my liking but I do like the scent, it's fruity floral with pink pepper and rose. Also, I have discovered that it has multiple layers, initially, it's not something many would like then dry down comes with a different layer and that actually has a pleasant scent. It's comfort + simple scent but something which will not last for so long.

xababyxaforluv

I worship this perfume. It has been my signature perfume for a couple years. I got a whiff of it, and I knew I immediately needed it. It's sexy, powdery, comfortable, it smells like me but so good, and when I put it on, I feel like my best self. It's so sensual, musky, "non-abrasive," delicious and just yum. Yum, without being overly gourmand or edible. It's simply the best perfume I've ever smelled. And! It's perfect for my everyday.

Rosemary14

This fragrance is so addictive. The main notes that I smell are: syrupy sweet delicious plum mixed with creamy warm vanilla, pretty and bubble-gummy tuberose. Of course, all of these are flowing through the most sexy, silky musk ever. Like most NR fragrances it’s going to be one of those fragrances that just melt into the smell of your skin. This house plays with the idea of smelling naturally beautiful. For me a perfume has to answer the ultimate question, “Does this smell like a beautiful poem on my skin and in the air?” This one is just as beautiful as my absolute favorites. Then, “How long does it last?” This lasts a good 8 hours ladies & gents.

I’ve had an interesting relationship with Narciso Rodriguez fragrances where at first I couldn’t smell them. Then I was able to smell them, recognized the unique sophistication of them, but just couldn’t connect to them. I need other notes to allow the musk to sing, but the “right” notes. I’m basically Goldilocks when it comes to this house and I finally found the right bed to sleep in.

IMPORTANT: If you’re afraid of the rose note. Don’t be. I personally don’t pick out the rose. I can tell there is something floral in there somewhere, but if you didn’t tell me it was rose I probably wouldn’t know. To me the plum, vanilla, and of course musk are the more prominent note. It’s one of those fragrances where they all melt together.

Anu Vincent

I am a male and i absolutely love the smell. Recently my wife bought a bottle of this. Not sure about the longevity. First blast is bit heavy but slowly in 11-16 minutes it turn slightly powdery Yes its very rosey but pink pepper and tuberose combination makes it very 👌

Sk8lin

I tried this on my skin today. At first impression, it smelled like a horse stable or manure… 🤢
After about 10 minutes, it started to dry down and was a lot prettier of a scent. I don’t see myself getting a full bottle of this because of the initial scent.

Rwertz123

My sister bought this perfume for my mom for Christmas last year and she said she gets a lot of compliments on it and last a long time on skin as well. This perfume to me is mature but not in a bad way at all. This is a scent that smells confident, and bold for any woman to wear!

epcana

Firstly, I must say that this perfume smells really amazing. Its a musky, fruity, and warm fragrance. When you spray it on a paper in the store to test the scent, you might find yourself repeatedly smelling it. Not long ago, I succumbed to this as well and bought the perfume. But wait, what's this? The perfume doesn't smell! I want to smell the fragrance of the perfume when I walk, change my clothes, or open my closet. However, when I spray this perfume, it's impossible to smell it on myself. I thought my nose had gotten used to the scent, that's why I couldn't notice it, but then I realized that no one around me could smell it either. So, am I not going to be able to smell the perfume I've sprayed?

Koksandkola

As a man I absolutely adore it. It's fruity, floral, and musky—undeniably captivating, incredibly alluring and sexy as f***. NSFW because I would be around trying to get a sniff

cortana

My go to office scent. It’s classy and feminine, but with an edge. The lasting power isn’t great. But that makes it very work appropriate to me.

Lifewithebruu

So weird !! I mean the opening smells like cleaning product called “camsil” that you clean your window smells exactly like that product. After a while it’s good but not great it’s bearable and you feel the musk which is pleasant. But overall with that unpleasant opening I’m not a fan sorry and doesn’t worth the money. definitely a no from me.

watermelonmami

This is my favorite perfume ever. The plum, rose, vanilla and musk combination is to die for. It is a bit powdery but not a dated powder, a sophisticated sexy powdery. Originally when I tried this, I wasn’t the biggest fan and then JK to me because I bought whole bottle and it’s my signature scent now.

WhitePetals

I do not like it. Retro powdery rose. Too sweet. Close to skin.

Strawberrykitty

Perfume version of Blush Cardigan from Bath & Body Works. I love that scent and will have to pick up a bottle when I run out of the mist.

Rangel7

All right, let's dive into 'Musc Noir Rose for Her' by Narciso Rodriguez. Right off the bat, I have to say, I do like it, but it's not exactly groundbreaking. If you're looking for something unique, you might be disappointed because this is essentially Musc Noir with a heavy dose of vanilla.

I had high hopes for the rose to shine through, but it seems like yet another vanilla-dominant fragrance. Amidst the velvety plum, the rich tuberose with a touch of peppery rose, and the signature house musk, the syrupy vanilla takes center stage.

Now, don't get me wrong, if you're into the whole vanilla craze that's been going on, it's a good everyday scent. It doesn't project intensely, but it does have decent lasting power. However, I can't help but feel that it's a tad overpriced and a bit overhyped. The dry down leans towards a somewhat retro and mature vibe, and not necessarily in a good way.

For me, it's a pass. The decant I have is all I need.

Catmo

Upon first spray I’m immediately taken back to the late 90’s and the smell of my well dressed grandma after she’s gotten ready for the day. Comforting actually…but not sure I want to smell like this, personally.
In the dry down it becomes sweeter and better than the initial spray. But I definitely don’t get the hype, I truly thought this was going to be amazing for how much it’s been hyped.

Edited to add: I’ve worn this a few more times over the last month and have grown to love it. It’s honestly beautiful. So if you didn’t like it the first or second time, give it one more shot! It’s so classy and elegant, classic, womanly…just perfect. Totally could be a signature scent and worn for any occasion but it has an edge to it that makes it sexy. This is one that grows on you.

Suncica7

It is pretty, the right word. It reminds me of Lancome Lumineuse, La Nuit and flankers- burnt sugar, Turkish delight etc. Very sweet on my skin and for comparison the Musc Noir smells A COMPLETE DIFFERENT fragrance from this on, on me.
If you like Lancome, it is in that area. If , like me, you prefer non-sweat, more musky, floral, mature ones, than check the Musc Noir.

Beeboss

I wish it was creamier, like the Narciso cubes. Otherwise, it makes me feel sexy and it's good to layer with other scents

SheRays

Overpriced and overhyped. This is a very musky scent which is so powerful that I can't smell anything else- expect for a strong patchouli smell in the base. Very "perfumy" and "old incense" vibes ..... No feeling of comfort in this ...perhaps a poor combination of notes- lacks balance. Glad the anticipation is OVER! I'll gift my sample to someone:)

midnightcat

This is just musky rose with a hint of vanilla on my skin. It was a successful blind buy because I don't have anything like this in my collection. I'm not obsessed but it's nice

Arber Cami

This is a tuberose fruity fragrance. Opens up fruity floral/tuberose dries down to a musky, fruity, floral scent with some sweetness from the vanilla. Nice fragrance but nothing unique.

books.art.dogs

I thought I was going to love this one, but I’m happy I tested it first.
I was expecting a strong rose/musk smell. Instead I got a weird vanilla/sweet smell. Personally, I’m not a fan. It smells like a person wearing perfume instead of just a perfume. Like it reminds me of how someone’s house has a smell.
It’s got an intimate scent bubble, and longevity is moderate.
Maybe it works better on different skin chemistry since it’s fairly popular, but I couldn’t wait to scrub it off.

j.samy22

I just blind bought this perfume. At first I hated it, it smelled like an old lady perfume but eventually it came into a creamy vanilla with some light floral notes. Unfortunately it doesn’t last too long on me but it’s a lovely and simple scent.

gloseycasey

This is the new baby in my collection. What a nice fragrance. This reminds me of scandinave version La Belle, very modern and cut only to the essential without extra accessory. This is becoming the fragrance I reach for the most.

spideyjjk

I LOVE THIS so much, blind bought because of that one tiktok of the french girl and it did not disappoint, it's very rosy and musky, meant for people who like subtle scents with hints of projection. this perfume last on my clothes leaving a sweet musky dry down.

perfumeaddiction

I've got this one along with musc noir. I fell for the hype and while this is a lovely scent, it reminds me of something else. The rose has a mild patchouli undertone which makes me prefer musc noir. I think it is overrated and overpriced.

beachgirl722

When first sprayed, it smells like cinnamon and sweet vanilla to me. Reminds me of a Christmas spice-scented candle. When it fades it turns into a clean bright musk scent. It smells like clean tuberose soap after many hours on the skin. I really like this but it was not what I expected based on the name of the fragrance and the notes. It does not smell like rose to me at all.

charmae_ateteen

I wanted to love it, at least like it because it's been raved for the past year but it's too heady for me. I love NR Musc Noir but this doesn't really do it for me. It's too strong, too sweet.

pinotos802

Definitely a big NO-NO from me! This smells weird, like the water in a vase of old and dead roses, it's pungent and musky but not the good type...

carla isabel

Drydown is giving me la belle from Jean Paul Gaultier, but top and middle are quite diferent ... i can definitely feel the strong plum but there is something that bother me,i can feel it in my throat and my head get overwhelmed but can not identify what it is, i am not impressed.

kdawg09

Pink pepper and Rose are red flags to me. I just don't like either of them, but I got a free sample of this and I'm so glad I tried it! Neither of those notes are too prominent. it sits really nice for dinner or date night

Shazaki

I absolutely LOVE this perfume! It’s intimate, feminine and addictive. A great compliment getter too!
I wish it lasted longer though. About to purchase my second bottle of this goodness

Perfumedsecrets

Unbelievable this was discontinued so fast. Only a year and maybe six months on the market. It went viral and NR missed the opportunity. I’m glad I have a big bottle. It’s a beautiful amber plum rose.

Lauren387

Usually I dislike musk. Usually I dislike tuberose. I like this fragrance very much, surprisingly. It’s blended well. The musk is intimate but not earthy on the skin. The tuberose and plum are creamy and jammy together—I wouldn’t call this an indolic tuberose. Very easy to wear and love.

amgenus2015

I do not like the vanilla in this scent, it mixes poorly with the floral notes. I can see the attempt to make a darker version, but I don’t understand why it is so popular on TikTok right now.

Swedelish

The scent profile is so recognizable to me. Think, Bottega Veneta Velours, Very Irresistible L'Intense and vintage Poison. Those deep, plum-forward fruity vanillic florals, usually in dark purple-reddish bottles.

MNR It's polished so smooth nothing sticks out. It's a musky vanillic plum with soft accents of rose, but rose isn't at the forefront. It smells of good quality and I really enjoy the scent bubble it creates, but for the type of scent that it is, it's a bit too smooth for my liking. I might have loved it if the rose came forward more or if the scent was a little rougher around the edges. This scent actually reminded me how much I enjoyed Givenchy Very Irresistible L'Intense so I'm going to keep my eyes out for a bottle of that to purchase online.

I do really enjoy this one and think that it's beautifully done. I just needed it to have a bit more bite.

goodsniffs

The top notes has this baby wipes/old church lady vibe that other people were talking about. However, the dry down of this is a softer version of Le Belle La Parfum which is a perfume I like. I'd rather use Le Belle La Parfum if this is softer though. Glad I got to try it but I'm not sold on the hype of this fragrance.

CGud23

If you already have Musc Noir, you don’t need this. It’s just the sweeter, louder, more Basic Betty of the two. I, too, succumbed to the hype and because everyone’s saying it’s now discontinued… I bought it! Mind you Musc Noir Rose has been out-of-stock for a year! So when I saw it pop up on jomashop I bought it (against my better judgement!). I mean it’s not bad… just nothing special! Trust me, you don’t need it!

aniton

Some say this is mature, but I call it old fashioned. Overhyped and really nothing special. It's not unpleasant, but I find it quite average in performance, notes and creativity behind it.

Moonchild834

I love fragrances and have a very keen sense of smell. Not sophisticated, mind you, particularly when I read the reviews on this site, because I can't necessarily identify the top/middle/base notes. However, I know what I like and what I don't. I don't like fruity, or 'cucumbery' scents or anything too sweet. Also, judging from the reviews on this site I supposed I'm more drawn towards the unusual scents. For example, I love Caleche eau delicate, Hiris, Terre d'Hermes (bought it for my husband and occasionally wear it myself), Santa Maria Novella - L'Iris. Love Pino Silvestri on men. However, I digress.

I bought Musc Noir Rose blind after reading reviews elsewhere and succumbing to the hype surrounding it. When I heard it was discontinued I decided I had to have it. It arrived today and upon opening the shipping box, I immediately knew I would be sending it back. It is nauseatingly sweet and headache inducing. I did spray a bit on my wrists, just to see if it changed; alas it did not. I immediately packed up and returned it. Can't wait to shower to wash it off.

OtherPeople'sChildren

Loved it on a swatch, hated it on my skin. Went far too mature, cobwebby old rose and musc. After about 4 hours it settled into a really lovely skin scent plus vanilla.

Hamano_Chiaki

To me this is like Narciso's interpretation of Viva La Juicy. It's a sweet, vanillic white floral with some dark fruits, not much rose in sight, but out of its genre it's definitely one of the best I've smelled. I like how the musk balances its sweetness and makes it suitable for everyday IMO.

Too bad it seems like it's dissappearing from retailers' shelves. Has it been discontinued?

tilapia_johnson

Finally got my hands on a bottle. If you like the original For Her perfumes, this is not like them. I would describe this as a dusty rose with a powdery vanilla-musk base. Opening is nothing to write home about, then you get the plum/rose with only a touch of tuberose, followed a creamy musk that differs from the usual, sterile NR musk. It is definitely feminine, romantic and pretty, but it is not as seductive as others hyped it to be. I thought this would be tuberose and musk heavy, but I get mostly vanilla (like the one in Mugler's Aura). I miss the sharpness of the rest of the line, and I've smelled the original Musc Noir and that is lacking too.

Manasa_gr

Beautiful fragrance! This perfume might not work on everyone's skin chemistry so please test it on skin before buying it.
On my skin it turned out beautiful, longevity is really great, sillage is okay. The blend of musk and rose sits very beautifully on the skin. The opening notes are just as beautiful. Completely in love with this fragrance.

Casbag11

I originally wasn’t a fan of this but the more I wore it I loved it and I find this unique in my collection. It’s sensual and sexy and blended well. I like the Musc noir as well for more casual daytime it feels more laundryesque clean girl vibe. They both blend well with other perfumes … the dry down of Musc noir rose is a smooth vanilla… I feel like it last longer than the Musc noir

miletas89

Beautiful and nostalgic red fruit jammy opening, moving into a sensual and intoxicating play of musks, vanilla and rose. Very enveloping, alluring and addictive. You will be smelling your wrists all day. It's also very similar to BDK Pas Ce Soir.

MaxieF

This is the email I got back from Narciso

Dear Maxie,

Really beautiful combination of clean musc and fresh rose. I liked it a lot, though I expected not to. Sadly I only have a tiny sample so hoping to be able to find a bigger decant from someone.

81ghazal1314

It's one of those sensual dark rosey and powdery and a little bit mature fragrances. I don't know how musk smells like to analyze that. Tbh it's not my cup of tea. I'm 20 and usually like fresh and clean fruiy floral scents or very warm and cozy woody and spicy ones. But this is too warm and heavy and sensual and very sweet. A little headache inducing and nauseating for me. I will ABSOLUTELY NOT be able to wear this is a car as I will definitely puke. I will try this again in cold weather. But in general it's just not my taste. Doesn't have anything that smells bad in it tho.

Edit: I felt like in the dry down the powderiness started to smell very similar to Poison Girl. I sprayed PG on my other arm and waited a couple of hours for the dry down. PG is stronger and smells nothing like MNR, but in the dry down the powderiness smells kinda similar. In general MNR stays very much softer with that rose in the front. But I think if u have PG and u love it you don't really need this one. but if u wonder whether you're going to like it or not and u can tolerate perfumes like Armani Code Satin, Poison Girl or Black XS by Paco Rabanne you'll definitely like this too.

YLC629

This is a lovely fragrance. I don't usually go for hyped designer fragrances as they don't usually work for me but this one does.
This is understated sexy and just so pretty. I will probably want a full bottle of this at some point

Also, I generally cannot tolerate tuberose in fragrance so I was wary to sample this. But I don't get any of the tuberose at all

shdsh

I loveee this perfume! It smells so good and it does last a while in clothes. Without keeping the notes in mind and just describing what I smell when I wear it, I would say is musky, powdery and creamy floral. It does smell great, I bought it after seeing a video that a girl posted saying this is the perfume all Parisian girls are wearing, and I'm not so sure how true is that, but I can say that the perfume smells very good if you like creamy florals!

larabk

This is very mature. Someone below described it as "goth" and I totally get that. It's very powdery, almost smokey because of all the musk. Smells lovely just not my vibe!

melimelo87

This is not similar to the OG, they do not even share the same notes, aside from the plum🙈and musk. The original has a more elegant suede note which the Rose one does not.
This is heavy on the tuberose and vanilla, a bit plummy in the opening. I do not get any rose at all. This is a very alluring, sexy rich floral and musky scent. I also need a bottle of this! Sexy summer date night frag for sure.

gourmandgyaani

this was a love at first sniff! deep, plummy rose, gothic rose with that pink pepper spice and that brightness in the beginning.
the gothic rose is reminiscent of two other perfumes I love - Elle by ysl and Gucci guilty absolute the purple one. I love that one a whole ton.
this is stunning, doesn't last too long and doesn't project too much but definitely an elevated, modern, bright and spicy gothic rose. very nice. chefs kiss. wish it performed better though!

sm311214

Definitely worth all the hype this perfume received. A gorgeous, sensual, soft, musky rose with a touch of vanilla sweetness

Lotte_Liese

If I thought nothing could come close to the musc poudrée in my books, I had not yet sniffed the musc noir rose. Oh my, what a masterpiece. Like the musc rose, the fragrance is built around the rose note. A truckload of musk, spicy pink pepper, a very pink rose and the sweetness of a juicy pear and vanilla. Oh yes, quite powdery but very lovely.
If you were left unimpressed with Musc Noir, I assure you that your feelings about this line will change once you finagle a sample of Musc Noir Rose.

Zahraa555

No musk. Very generic sweet vanilla tuberose scent. Unlike other beautiful scents from NR. Prefer Musc Noir over this one.

P_a_p_e_rcuts

I had quite a journey with this one. I heard a lot of hype so I headed down to the department store to smell it, I loved the smell but by the time I got home it was gone from my skin (30mins max). I was rather saddened by this as I wanted to see how it would smell dried down, but didn’t get a chance. I didn’t think about it again for a while, then I saw it on sale and thought man, I really loved that scent but it didn’t last. I must’ve been in a strange mood because I bought it anyway and I’m so glad I did. It must’ve been the tester at the store, but my bottle of this is really great. It projects within arms length, it lasts for about 5hrs and smells delicious. It’s fresh, rosey and clean. It feels easy to dress up or down and I like it as more of a freshie (on my skin). I have made quite a dent in it because I wear it a lot. I’m so thankful I took a risk with it, and wish I’d have gotten 100ml.

nataschav

My nose must be broken, because there is zero projection from this scent to me. It sits so close to my skin, I can barely detect it. Its just musky, and faint vanilla. Without complexity or other notes.

lamerienda

Excuse me, but this smells like Walmart people, I absolutely do not get the hype. Imagine spinster overweight aunt that wears 10 fake gold rings on her 10 ungroomed nails and wears transparent minidress on your prom. And Musc Noir Rose perfectly complements that. This is sexiness in its cheapest.

albarine

the two last advices give me the idea to try this scent just to have my own opinion about it. Thank you two to feel free to express your ideas. is it the scent for Mrs Groseille or for Mrs Le Quesnoy ("la vie est un long fleuve tranquille")
o I will try this one ASAP. as I usually appreciate NR scents.

nellynell92

I'm a big fan of Narciso Rodriguez so my review may be a bit biased, but nevertheless this is a very good fragrance: sweet and warm, with a little hint of smoked plum and a huge red rose.
I don't smell tuberose in the perfume, that's sad, because I love tuberose, but I know that many people don't - so it's a good news for them. Famous rodriguez's musk is tamed but noticeable. Longevity is over 6 hours, fragrance is closed to body, there is not an overrage sillage. In the finish fragrance changes to pleasant vanilla vibes, not sugary but spicy.
Really love my purchase but I set aside it for winter, I think Musc Noir Rose will be very good on that season.

Pewbom

I enjoy the scent. It's so yummy and sexy, but it’s a little bit heavy if you live in very hot climates. 98F . It's sad to say that the longevity is poor. 2hrs max

yavannan

I love this one but unfortunately it does not last long. This is the first thing I seek from a perfume. It smells sometimes sweet sometimes spicy. I love it really and in my opinion, it's a winter/fall perfume. It could be my only perfume but I prefer the one which stays longer.

Bopha85

I don't smell any rose, I smell tuberose which I'm not complaining about. Safe easy going alluring scent.

Update: This has similarities to Narcotic V and I just mixed the two and they work so well together. Narcotic V gives it a bit more intensity and enhances the projection and longevity.

Velvetta

I was a bit scared to try it and generally sceptical, because of my problem with Pure Musc, which i completly can't smell on my skin even when i drown myself in it. Musc Noir Rose on the other hand is just enchanting. My goddness, i couldnt find it anywhere in Germany to test it, until i finally found a bottle during weekend in Croatia. After first smell it went home with me. It's a beautiful plumy rose, subtle enough it could be a signature. I love it, but heard about it's longevity issues. Have to properly test it myself. I could even see it as a competition to my good old squeaky clean rose Chloé signature, but i'm afraid her longevity is gonna remain unmatched.

Erianwyn

This is absolutely beautiful. It doesn’t have the best longevity (about 4 hours for me) but that’s a trade off I tend to make because I love gentle and close fragrance. It begins with strong musk but as it settles the plum develops and the fruits come out in a very well blended cloud of sweet, smooth musk. I went into the shop intending to pick up a different scent entirely but this one stole my heart instead.

PuppyFever

Sometimes this is so strong on the musk that it overpowers the gorgeous albeit faint vanilla and plummy rose dry down. I would have loved this scent with less musk!

othai

It does smell like carpet freshener when I put my nose directly to skin, but the scent bubble is very sexy and that part does not smell like carpet freshener. Not sure what’s happening here lol. It’s a keep for me because of the alluring scent bubble.
Edit
I have had the bottle for a while now, it’s had time to sit and I can’t stop using it! No more carpet fresh! I love this so much I am getting a second bottle

WildDove

Mouth-watering juicy fruits, with musk and a hint of florals. Great feminine fragrance for warm or hot weather.

pancakespancakes

I love it so much, a perfect blend of musk and jamminess. However, the sillage is almost non-existent. On me, this is more of a skin scent unless I spray it on my clothes.

mellyv1973

Was this a limited release or has it been discontinued? I can’t find this anywhere & it was just released a year ago. I had an official sample sent with another fragrance I purchased & I love it!! Such a wonderful, musky, jammy rose.

Allybabaa

Wowzaaaaaa. Easy everyday wear. Signature scent worthy (it’s mine). Be ready to field compliments coming from left right and center from men women and children alike. Seriously though this and By the Fireplace get me the MOST compliments when I wear them. This is perfect for any occasion; casual or formal. This is an alluring scent for men- so many women stray from rose or musk scents because they think they will smell old but NO! They are heavy hitters for a reason folks! It does something to the male brain I am telling you. Everyone in my family was raving other this perfume on me at Xmas too. Anyways go grab yourself a bottle. No brainer.

Mammajamma

I like this plummy vanilla! I don’t find it dense, it’s pretty airy and sweet for a “noir” scent. Plum/cherry with a smooth, mild tuberose segways into a sweet warm vanilla, still carrying a bit of the plum. I don’t really get rose, and I don’t get very much musk either. It stays awhile but is pretty much a skin scent after 30 minutes. I think it needs to be twice as strong, with a tiny bit clean patchouli for staying power.
Scent- 8/10 extremely pleasant
Longevity- 6/10
Sillage- 1/10

ingrid.superstar

I've waxed on about Musc Noir Rose, probably too much, only to find after purchasing a full bottle and using up 10ml that what it mostly reminds me of is a musky, powdery rose-and-vanilla-scented deodorant. In the drydown it starts to come off as strawberry-ish, further amplifying the association while introducing lipgloss and candy hearts. It's too sweet and cloying for me. Babydoll heads and deodorant. I like dollheads...that's not the issue, exactly. (Musc Noir is a dollhead fragrance for me as well.) It's the thick, sweet musk that I can't take anymore. Sort of like Coty Exclamation! now that I remember it.

Allthingssparkle

Oh...my yum..... I love a deep, sultry plum fragrance, and that's what this is to me! Its only crime (from my perspective) is the intensity. It's so GOOD, but it's so ILLUSIVE! It's like when you're tasting a dessert that's soooo good, and you keep tasting it to chase down the mysterious flavor that's rapidly sucking you in. And there's that ONE element that's AMAZING but ever so slight that your insides scream "MORE!" That's what this is. AMAZING, but I want MORE! lol They need an intense version of this. Mother's Day is coming, so this may be on my list along with JPG La Belle!

EDIT: I layered this with Mancera's Roses Greedy and the effect was AMAZING!!! I could actually pick up on both of them throughout the entire day. I've also learned to spray my weaker fragrances on clothing as well as to spray them in a dab of unscented Eucerin to create a scented layer and THEN spray. Makes a huge difference.

Sarahr97

This was an impulse buy at a closing Nordstrom and I’m so happy I grabbed it! It’s quickly become my go to daytime scent.
I don’t usually like rose forward perfumes but the rose in this isn’t heavy or sharp but rather blends into the background of the plum/musk sweetness. It’s beautiful and romantic and perfect for just about any occasion (though I tend to wear it daily since I have perfumes that are strictly for night). It has so much depth and it lasts a full day, softening over time into this lovely vanilla floral. One of my coworkers said I smelled “scrumptious” which would be strange any other time but with this perfume I forgave him. It DOES smell scrumptious. I’m so happy I sprang for the 100ml.

lydlid

This smells like the stuff you sprinkle on your carpet then vacuum to clean it

viveka

For my nose it's unapologeticaly.... masculine :) Like very sweet, slightly oriental scent with subtly composed incensed rose within but still - for men. Not for me. I tried several times and everytime asap I had to overspray it with something more feminine, like Rose Jam Lush to add some soft touch. Bold & not typical sweet rose scent, that's for sure.

fragranceboy97

Oh WOW! As someone who doesn’t love rose perfume I was nervous about this one given the name. But my god this is beautiful and so well blended! I don’t get much rose whatsoever so I am happy. Think I have a new favourite.

savjlc

When I first smelled this sprayed out of the bottle, my initial reaction was “ew”
The opening is very mature and indolic. I don’t get much rose in the beginning just nauseating white florals
But holy cow this completely transforms. It turns deep & sweet with the vanilla coming through, the indolic smell take several steps back. It’s hard to describe but this is the sexiest perfume I own, and even when it dries down it projects so well. It deserves the hype
This is not an everyday scent it is nighttime and special occasion only. Please do not suffocate your coworkers with this

VelG

Very sad about this one. Tried a sample of it on the skin and it was a lovely, slightly soapy scent. Longevity was great and it wasn't super powdery, which if it was would've been a big no-no for me. Seemed very elegant and classy. However, after I purchased a full bottle and sprayed it on it dried down so powdery and overwhelming it gave me a headache and I didn't even overspray. Not much of anything else apart from very strong, powdery plum with a bit of musk. Now, when I smell the bottle it still smells pleasant, but I guess it just doesn't agree with my skin chemistry.

Osarolen

Musc Noir Rose is a lovely perfume that disappears in a nanosecond. I like it, I really do, but after 30 minutes I'm struggling to detect it.
I tried it multiple times, from tester bottles from different stores, but on me the longevity is non existent.
On the other side, Musc Noir is a different story; it loves me and it's faithful and long standing, as well as the cubes.
So why MNR is so elusive? I have no idea and I envy all of you that can fully enjoy it.

HannahRosesAreRed

I wanted to love this. On paper, it sounds perfect–a rose-dominant musk scent backed by plum and vanilla, featuring the trendy notes of pink peppercorn and bergamot. What's not to love? But actually on paper–nothing. And on skin–nothing.

Either the tester I used was faulty, or I have been horribly misled. Musc Noir Rose For Her disappeared on my skin. I caught a hint of it for about a minute before it faded into nothing. And it was pleasant enough. I got the powdery musk, subtle juicy, dark plum and the subtle rose. And then nothingness. I'm completely baffled. I'm not even sure I can write a review on this, I could barely detect it. The sillage is nonexistent. And longevity–no such thing.

I might have to find another tester to see if my mind is playing tricks on me, or if I just happened upon a faulty sample. Either way, I'm just baffled.

wayintoperfumes

Overall, if you're a Serena Van Der Woodsen type of girly - this perfume is for you.
She's the seductive, effortless, chic "It girl".
everything from the sillage down to the mouth watering notes is just the perfect mix to allure someone.
I get compliments to the point people run down the street to ask me what i'm wearing! Whenever I want to have my presence in bold - I approach Musc Noir Rose.

silthrill

For the hype that this has received my expectations were much, much higher. First of all (obviously subjectively in my opinion) the scent is nothing special - actually with that much musk and tuberose this gives me 90s vibes (without 90s projection or performance). Literally I sprayed this on skin and clothes and as soon as it dried the fragrance was a skin-scent almost immediately.

ohmydarlingcats

It is a beautiful scent... but it's just not that. Not for this designer house. It's too much, although I cannot deny it's a heartthrob.

FruityPatchouli

Well, I guess I’m on the hype train too. But can I just say, the hype is TOTALLY justified?! I love the plum with the Narciso musk and a touch of tuberose. It is bordering on too sweet for my nose, but ultimately I have to say it’s a LOVE and one I want in my collection forever. I personally like scents that aren’t “beast mode” and depending on how much I spray I can make it project or keep it close and personal. I can do that easily with this fragrance. Whenever I wear this I can’t stop sniffing my wrists! It’s addictive.

Pernillaw

Love love love it, such a smooth, soft and beautiful scent. But the sillage is so poor? I sprayed at least 10 sprays today and i can barley smell it. My coworkers says i smell nice but not strong. Saying that; sometimes i appriciate a soft scent with weak sillage, as i don´t always want to my fragrance to scream.

frulya

I didn't even know there's a hype behind it. I was just casually checking new perfumes in a perfume store by myself and found this one very comforting/sexy/ feminine. Couldn't stop sniffing it the whole evening from my wrist. Beautiful fragrance!

Lyric82

I bought this right when it first came out, before the hype exploded around it. And I have to say, it really is a gorgeous scent in my opinion. It manages to come across as clean and fresh while also seductive and a little bit dark. And at least for me, those two sides aren’t usually in one perfume.

Where it misses the mark is the poor longevity. And since I’ve had this for a long time now, I can say with certainty that the longevity varies, but on a good day, I get about 4 hrs with it. And 4 hrs is average, so that’s not so bad. Problem is, most days aren’t good days, so the norm tends to be 2-3 hrs. I can’t think of an occasion where I find 2 hrs to be acceptable, so this is a considerable drawback for a beautiful scent.

UPDATE: longevity is no longer an issue. It usually lasts around 8 hrs on me now. Not sure why it took so long, but it has become one of my most used scents ever since the longevity improved. I see it’s no longer available in the United States, which is crazy! It’s only a year old! They really need to stop discontinuing fragrances so quickly.

joikgirl

THE HYPE DO BE REAL. It is such a mature and feminine fragrance that includes everything into one bottle. The musk that is THE NOTE in every Narciso Rodrigues fragrance- is the hitter in this one with that beautiful plum, that does not overpower and so well put together with rose, tuberose and vanilla.

Very much a "it girl" fragrance of 2022 and 2023. I have been wanting to but this since it became popular on TikTok and finally got it. Personally, I will be wearing it all the time and I can see this coming my signature scent.

Aksha.aa

I bought this perfume after all the hype and I’m not disappointed in it’s scent, it’s a very musky vanilla sweet scent. The rose here is done so well I usually don’t like rose in perfumes at all but here it’s not very prominent on my nose and it gives off a very light balanced scent. Everything about this perfume is very much okay, but it doesn’t last on me:( it stays on my skin for like 2 hours and that too you only get it when you sniff it hard, like bringing it close to the nose. If it matches with your body chemistry it will be heavenly. Will not be purchasing this again after I finish my bottle🙁. It’s very much an okay scent but there are more perfumes out there which are more worthy of the hype this perfume is getting.
Rating- 7.5/10

AkaNeri

Musky rose. Elegant, easy to wear if you love musk. Nothing ground breaking, but very nice!

CarlaN

The 100ml bottle is so beautiful and pleasant to the touch I can't stop admiring it.
It was a gift, a well appreciated one.
This is the most girly and playful of all the NRs.
The difference? Vanilla at the base.
Where the others end with less sweet notes, leaving more space to the heavy ambery and animalic musk (which are the signature, at the end of the day, of the whole brand, and btw still are a big component of this one too), musc noir rose becomes, after a brief heavy opening, more fruity and sweet, less sharp, resulting in a much more wearable, mass appealing and yummy scent.
This is date nights, pantyhose, eyeliner, flirting material. But also, expensive designer bag and heels.
Imo not work appropriate, anyway. It might not project much, but this is not the kind of scent you want to wear during professional exchanges, as you could give the impression of seeking male attention, or attention in general.
Also, final side note: this gets better and better the longer you wear it. So if you tried it on a piece of paper and didn't like it, wait 30-40 minute and smell it again.

TheNyx2003

Plum , vanilla and rose+tubrose mix are the most touchable in this one , it's sexier , denser , darker and warmer version of musc noir which i already have and love
But to me Musc noir VS musc noir rose :

The plum note are so recognizeable in these two
But in comparison , musc noir plum is juicy and airy
But in musc noir rose is denser and jammy
I really love the airy_crisp texture of musc noir
Which musc noir rose hasn't
Musc noir is easier to wear than musc noir rose
But musc noir has lack sillage ;) so IMO musc noir rose has a way more better performance
In my view musc noir rose is not propper for hot summer days but wearable in other seasons
So if you're looking for a signature go for musc noir , but if want a sexy , evening/night scent go for musc noir rose
Both of them are fantastic , narsico musc line is
Elegent , self_confidant , adorable and femenine

Darkrain91

Smell a sample of this and love it. Was able to order it a 1.7 bottle to carry and a 3.3 Oz foe home. Prefer this over the musc noir.

filmgirl79

I blind bought this, and sadly I think I’m anosmic to it. It is just sooo faint to my nose. I sprayed myself several times. My husband came home 10 minutes after I sprayed and said “Mmmmmm” he told me it smells like an elegant, classy young lady and said it has a sweet floral scent. He said it smelled like I sprayed the whole house lol! Wish I could smell it. Might keep it, since my husband likes it.

Kimyswirls

Never would have discovered this without tiktok but I really love this. This was my first mature, night time scent & it makes me feel very sophisticated. When I first sniffed & sprayed this on me, I thought I would hate it because it smelled… mature? Not old lady mature but like… just mid adult, girl boss vibes. Then when it dried down, I started smelling the vanilla & felt… sexy.

The guy who sold me the bottle told me if I wanted to smell chic and turn heads without being overly cloying, this would be it. I immediately got a full size bottle (on sale!) & this will forever hold a special place in my collection. I feel like it introduced me to scents outside my comfort zone. I love it to this day.

morphoevgenia

It is very boring fragrance. Freshly sprayed it is rosey and nice, but on my skin, it turns to stale closet air lol Rose here is not vintage or old-fashioned, it is literally just old and dusty. It is not sweet at all. Sillage is very shy. Thank god I didn`t ride the wave of hype and tried it out before buying. On deep dry down it is very pleasant and soft, but too long to wait and too expensive to buy.

Barracker

I find this to be a clean and elegant tuberose-rich musk. It isn't overly sweet, and as another poster said, the tuberose is almost reminiscent of jasmine here. The rose wafts quietly in the background, but for me the tuberose is definitely the star.

For me it's an evening perfume more than a daytime one, and overspraying would be a risky endeavour; this could be cloying in heavy doses, but with a light hand it is a graceful and confident scent.

Darkrain91

will they ever bring this back? litterally sold out everywhere @@

Miss_pops

Very pretty, but the hype! 😂 I fell for it and blind bought. I don’t regret it, and I will for sure use it in my everyday rotation. I needed a little more variety anyway and this is a lovely addition. Soft, feminine, just pretty and sexy enough for the daytime.

cyclone1391

Was introduced to this by a sales woman at Von Maur when I was purchasing Crystal Noir edt. I like this better than the other offerings from this house. I personally find the other Narcisso's to be "nice" but not enough for the price point and a bit too elegant for my personality and lifestyle. I did not try on my skin but it was a sweet, jammy rose on paper. Flirtatious with good sillage when I realized the sales woman was wearing it herself. About a week later I was visiting my dad and my step mom was wearing this. High maintenance, cougar, trophy wife, so this suits her well.

Heidi2021

This is absolutely gorgeous!! The drowndown is so beautiful, I can't stop sniffing myself.

Kuty22

I just received my order.
I've tested before purchasing, but today I've sprayed on my skin and I don't know why but this smells like Mon Guerlain Intense to me. I must say it's quite sexy but it's so so similar to MGI that I'm sort of 'disappointed'
Maybe that's the caveat of owning too many perfumes, they all start to smell identical.
This is a marvelous, delicious, sexy scent

taragsmellzbomb

It’s sold out everywhere because it went viral on TikTok.

gina aesi

I really really liked it. I just wish it‘d last longer than 2h…Shame.

Minasou

I didn't expect to fall for a fragrance as sweet as this one - this is simply gorgeous. Flirty, sexy, a woman in her 20s or 30s beckoning you to lean in closer in the hallway at the club. You can't really hear her over the music, but you see her skin, glistening blue in the dim light. Along her neck ranks the scent of a beautiful, soft pink, rose-water type rose, fresh and immortalized in its prime. Finished with a glittering dusting of vanilla. Basically smells like the really nice conditioner you love to slather your hair in. And that's a win in my book.

ehall

Blind bought and I was okay with it. A little underwhelming, but very wearable. A good everyday winter scent, or date night scent for a woman in her 20s/30s.

tanoshi333

smells so nice and balanced and sophisticated. i blind bought and fell in love!!

Mscydneya

Does anyone know why this is sold out everywhere ? Seems to not be getting restocked.

Victoria58

I bought into the hype and bought this based on online reviews and love of other Narciso Rodriguez perfumes. I'm really confused because there is barely ANY scent off this after the initial spray, I mean literally disappearing within seconds. The body lotion and shower gel that came with the gift set are strong and pleasantly scented, but I'm getting none of this from the fragrance itself.

AnlisaC

I’m an idiot! I was in the airport looking through duty free and I did NOT pick this up! How not smart of me. I thought maybe I’ll see it somewhere in Europe and I’ll pick it up there! Well, I got busy with my daughter and my relatives and never got a chance to get it. It was also sold out on line everywhere! 😩 So I got back home and every day I searched far and wide, until I found it! I didn’t care how much it cost because to me it was the most beautiful NR I have smelled in years!
Now for the fragrance….it’s a candied rose musk scent not sharp at all like the other NR musks and rose scent. It’s almost fruity candied rose with musk in the drydown. I love it! It’s so floral fruity but not in your immature way at all! It is perfect for spring and summer and can be worn throughout summer on hot days. Longevity is decent and sillage is also good. I wish this would come more available here in the US everywhere seems to be sold out. Highly recommended 20/10 that’s how good it is! It will be my summer staple! It’s freaking FABULOUS!

sbnmshn

Love at first sniff...This is a sweet scent but not teenage-like sticky sweet it's very feminine-classy kind of sweet. My skin chemistry worked well with this scent, and sillage is good according to my lab-mates :) Dark, addictive and very unique in my opinion. Love it!

Bubbles1964

Pleasant musky rose scent. Initially this goes on strong and sharp, but mellows within the first hour. The only other NR perfume I’ve had is the white cube and the older EDT For Her. There’s some shared musk DNA, but all three are (obviously) different.

Musc Noir Rose is good, but nothing special.

Sniffathon

My nose must be broken considering all the hype around this. Also considering I own and love 3 Narciso variants so far. This smells like a freshly cleaned public toilet adorned with the fanciest urinal cakes they could find. Icky.

sundayinheaven

Love at first sniff for me! Musc Noir Rose For Her is sophisticated, but not up-tight or boring. Sophisticated as in intellectual and confident. The lightness of the rose and the slight fruitiness adds a flirty & youthful vibe to it. The woman who wears this plays by her own rules. She is chic & elegant.

ChocoLei

When the original Musc Noir For Her is cloudy and creamy, the Rose flanker is, obviously, more floral from the rose notes but also a little bit more grounded. It feels a little bit less airy, slightly darker. Definitely gives night out and date night vibes, as stated by previous reviews.

I’m a bit sad to see how polarizing it actually is, but then perfumes and the sense of smell are so subjective. Therefore, I totally understand that it might not be appealing to some.

To me, this fragrance smells incredibly sexy, serious-looking but actually flirty and very romantic. If Musc Noir is fit for the office, this flanker is the perfect transition to an exciting night after clocking out of work.

I can’t get enough of it, I want to douse myself in both the orignal and this one. I have yet to own it and wear it for months and years before making such a statement but I would say that Musc Noir For Her, the Eau Duelle, the Princess and the LDBS series are my signature scents. I can imagine myself getting bored of some of the scents I currently love, at some point in my life, but both versions of Musc Noir For Her are so beautiful, unique and special I can’t imagine being without them ever. I’d love to be remembered by this scent by people for it smells so cozy, slightly sweet, reassuring.

Definitely full bottle-worthy imo. I really hope it never gets discontinued...

My second review! This is just one a kind gem! I’m absolutely in love and can’t stop wearing it. It’s so addicting..creamy, sultry and ambery. It smells warm like it’s on fire. For this being a new release, I’m amazed how unique it is comparing to the new releases of crowd pleasing white florals. Stunning scent.
