Excellent dupe of TF Black Orchid (Maybe the best dupe?)

Excellent juice quality, really good longevity on skin (9-10 hrs), and a good projection and sillage.

For the price, this is ridiculously good value for money (if you like TF Black Orchid).

Unfortunately, both Black Orchid and Oud 24 Hours smell too floral/feminine on my skin after the initial opening, so it's going to be a pass for me.

But if you like TF Black Orchid, this is a must try!

TheGent

I don't get the warm and spicy notes in this although the wife says she smells the chocolate when I'm wearing it. I get the fruit, the jasmine and the gardenia.
It's a scent that seems to work totally differently on different people. Goes very feminine on the wife but quite manly on me!
It's not a huge projector. yet it subtly fills the air around you for a good six hours. It smells so much more expensive than it is.

Drchrisnicol

Its credentials as a valid substitute for the pricy Tom Ford Black Orchid are plentifully extolled here. But it is also a valid alternative to the even more expensive Black Afgano by Nasomatto. Not an exact dupe, of course, but if you are after that heavy, smouldering miasma, check this out. Can’t believe how this can be done so well for this modest price.

Abdo7168

Mmm.. Smells so good like you are an edible dark chocolate. Only issue is the longevity but for some reason my skin tend to hold fragrances for long anyway surprisingly I got around 10 hours of longevity but this can’t be for all.
Pair this with it’s body spray and you will smell pristine all day

I've had this for a few months now and haven't used it much but since the weather will (hopefully) be warming up soon and it's been particularly cold lately I decided to make the most of using some of my winter perfumes and went for this yesterday. It's so good now it's had a few months to sit. It's gotten way stronger and holds up so well in the cold weather where other scents need heat to really shine and last. I layer it with the body spray and a Milton Lloyd Black Orchid dupe as that has the more fruity opening and liquorice smell. Together they're divine but this on it's own is banging enough. It's really chocolatey now, thick, spicy, woody and just mmm, gourmand but in a darker way. Very head shop smelling like you've had incense burning all day. So glad I bought this. It's an absolute steal for how good it is. I can't believe I ever didn't like Black Orchid now and this is pretty close to it. I'll be wearing this for a while now I think.

Malik44

Unbelievably awesome. Extremely long lasting specially after maceration. On Repeat purchase list.

Guys, just forget Black Orchid.... This is a 1 to 1 clone that is very long lasting (on skin 10 hrs), smells the same and makes you feel like a million bucks. Maybe (just maybe) the TF might project a bit more but if you do 3 or 4 sprays of this is enough to last you all day while you're out. Good projection for the first 1/2 hours, then becomes a more intimate scent (almost like the original, that one's projection lasted for 2/3 hours, but not too much of a difference). Very earthy and dark scent, I'd say it is suitable either for cold days or special night time occasions (that can also be autumn and spring), but if we are talking about daytime wear, only during cold days. Overal :

Scent : 10/10
Projection : 8.3/10
Longevity : 9/10
Versatility : 6.5/10
Price Value : 10/10

Update : After maceration, it is now stronger in projection, MUCH stronger.

Very strong similarity to Pasha de Cartier parfum. At least to my nose. Starts out bold, then settles down to a very herbal and green, sandalwood base. Even performance is similar to PDCP, though not quite as strong. A beautiful lower cost substitute for PDCP. A love for me, but wish the bottle were as tasteful as the scent itself.

Waltzing Matilda

I'm not familiar with Black Orchid, but this one is the business! I absolutely love it. To me, it's more suited to warm weather and that's fine, because most of my fragrances lean towards spicy and heavy. It's certainly a keeper and I'll be very pleased to enjoy it for eternity. The name is not indicative of the ingredients - to my nose, there's no obvious chocolate or oud at all, but there's some fruits - berries maybe. I don't mind the bottle - other members have mentioned that they don't like it - I'm not bothered. Oud 24 Hours heads in the feminine direction and it's a big fat 10 from me.

When I first got it, I thought I’d wasted my money (even though it is quite affordable) I was just so disappointed because it came off very messy and masculine leaning.

I’ve left it alone , and it’s been sitting for 3 months now. I cannot even begin to describe how addictive, sweet, and gourmand it’s become. An absolute 100/10. The longer you’ve had it on, the better it smells. The initial spray is like a dark, chocolate with some freshness to it. And by the 2 hour mark, it becomes sweeter and creamier. Definitely not cloyingly sweet, but enough to categorize as a gourmand. Very smooth and well blended.
The longevity is eternal. And it projects quite strongly, for about 7 hours. I’ve only worn it 3 times, since I’ve let it sit- I’ve lost count of the number of compliments I received each of those days.

An absolutely beautiful fragrance that smells way more expensive than it is. If you have it, and you’re not sure about it- just let it sit.

ross.kelty

Another one I wanted to love based on the note breakdown and price but to me it smelled like play doh mixed with chocolate and cherry chapstick. I used to get annoyed by some seemingly pretentious reviewers but most of the time you get what you pay for with fragrances I am slowly learning.

youngevans

I first smelled Tom Ford black orchid before this one. The difference I noticed is in the opening; The Tom Ford is bitter in the opening and the Oud 24 hours is sweeter. The Tom Ford also seem to have more oil in it (syrupy) than the 24 hours when sprayed unto skin. However, I couldn't tell the difference between the two after 5 minutes. My friend smelled the oud 24 hours a minute after spraying on my wrist and quickly said it's Tom Ford Black Orchid.

jasontallwood

I've smelled black orchid once about a year ago in a Nordstrom when me and a friend were left unsupervised to try out all the testers in the store that caught our eye without the sales people bothering us as the store was about to close and this really stood out. My mother was running low on an Oscar De La Rente fragrance called "midnight amber" and when I smelled Tom Ford - Black Orchid I knew I had one job! I had to find a very good clone of it online! Obviously Oud 24 Hours and Midnight Amber are not exact notes or any of that but if you loved one you'll love the other. The body spray they give you is quite tiny but I appreciate it none the less.

Here's a sigh of relief though. There is NO OUD. That's right! No stinky barn yards, no burnt paper! Nothing! North American or European women can pull this off without getting any smart ass comments from Karen in accounting! haha Karen your husband left you for the mailman! I wish they called this Orchid 24 or something.

This could be worn by almost anyone. I'd MUCH rather this be worn by a woman but if you're a man and can pull off fragrances like invictus by Paco Rabanne or Toy Boy by Moschino you'll be fine. Of the three I like oud 24 hours the most. This is an easy fragrance to wear and I can see why black orchid is so popular.

With only two sprays on as my mom goes light on the trigger for an hour it projected quite well. I can just imagine a 20 year old girl bathing in this.

It's dark and warm an uplifting combination of spicy and sweet. You could read the notes. Especially those people voted for but it really just boils down to that. Colder weather and nights this is going to shine and I couldn't have picked a better time to buy this. My mom loved this from the first sniff.

DARK, MYSTERIOUS, SENSUAL AND CLASSY ORCHID

Ard Al Zafraan's Oud 24 Hours is one of the many little-known gems produced in the Middle East.
The bottle is nice and heavy, although a little tacky. There is too much information around the walls of the bottle, which results in a poor final image. The strange "look" is compensated for by the "comfortable feeling" when holding the bottle, as quality materials are used for the bottle, cap and sprayer.
The perfume turns out to be a perfect blend that results in a fine, seductive oud fragrance. It's dark, mysterious, sensual and very elegant.
Oud 24 Hours is like a gourmand dessert that you love and enjoy from start to finish.
I'm not sure it's a showstopper, but it certainly attracts a lot of attention. In addition to its sensual and not cloying aroma, its above-average longevity and strong sillage help the lucky user stand out from the crowd. It lasts 12 hours and the sillage is enormous, filling a room for 2 to 3 hours and projecting close to a metre for another 2 to 3 hours.
It's a unisex fragrance but develops a totally different effect on men and women. Strangely enough, it's almost as if it has a dual personality, because it's very masculine on men and evokes a lot of femininity on women.
As noted by many reviewers, it is an "inspiration" of Tom Ford's Black Orchid and its strength is halfway between Black Orchid EDP and Parfum. In the drydown it's less harsh than Tom Ford's perfume, and because it's more civilised it's easier to wear for both men and women. The other differences I notice are the greater aggressiveness of the Ard Al Zaafaran fragrance in the opening with a very strong note of dark chocolate, and the fact that there is no oud in Black Orchid.
Oud 24 Hours offers a sweet, domesticated and almost discreet oud, somewhat disguised by the notes of patchouli and sandalwood. If you find the harshness of the first five minutes cloying, don't worry. Five minutes won't take long at all.
Top notes are bergamot, mandarin and dark chocolate; heart notes are spices, fruity notes, jasmine, gardenia and ylang-ylang; base notes are amber, incense, sandalwood, patchouli and agarwood.
Although not listed, I detect a strong coconut vibe in the opening for a short time, and a very strong note of sweet vanilla in the base notes and drydown.
At the opening, we're confronted with a pleasant note of dark, sweet chocolate (yes, some people don't like it). The chocolate note combines perfectly with the fruity and spicy notes that follow.
Agarwood, patouchilli, incense and vanilla dominate most of the fragrance's longevity, particularly in the drydown. The notes behave very similarly to those found in Tom Ford Black Orchid perfume.
Oud 24 Hours conveys an impression of exclusivity and distinction based on the strength of its persistent scent.
Lets confirm it with the Oud 24 Hours math:

Scent Opening: 7.5 (my judgement)
Scent Dry Down: 9.5 (my judgement)
Longevity: 9.0 (12 hours+ with three sprays)
Sillage: 9.0 (fills a room; 10~12 feet projection at its peak with 3 sprays)
Uniqueness: 7.0 (Besides Black Orchid you have a similar scent in the magnific Charriol Royal Gold, in Maremma from Tiziana Terenzi, in the very cheap Estiara Fleur Noire, in 24 Gold, and in many other perfumes)
Compliments: 8.0 (close to a serious compliment grabber during the drydown; consider it a head turner because it puts you in the spotlight)
Wearability: 7.5 (Use it day or night during Winter and Fall; You may experiment it as well in Spring colder days and nights)
Versatility: 7.0 (Don't abuse of it as a day scent. Don't use it in the office. Never use it in sunny events and workout. If you use it in the beach, half a dozen sharks will eat you because they confuse you with a very tasty over seasoned mammal)
Quality: 8.5 (my judgement)
Presentation: 7.5 (nice box, nice flask and tacky label. The bottle and cap look solid and expensive. Good sprayer.)

This is Black Orchid -- only watered down 10x so that I can barely smell it -- just a little in the dry down, and you need about 5 sprays.

I'm hoping the middle eastern frag maturation myth kicks in for this one, and it turns into beast mode 2 months from now, but right now, strengthwise it's rather watery. Just Jack's Orchid Noir is a better bet.

Deekerr16

Spot-on clone. Buyer beware that its "perfumery/reviewer" descriptions might lead your mind astray when picturing this one or TF Black Orchid. It has a bit of a lipsticky quality to it and isn't a deep dark syrupy sweetness, but more of a light powdery sweetness. I'd describe it as more of a gothic scent than a sexy or gourmand fragrance. That being said, it's perfect for fall nights or winter days and has great performance.

TheJFKexperience

I’ve had a small vial of TF Black Orchid before, and I believe if you were to have someone smell TF and this at random the wouldn’t tell a difference. The only contrast is the opening, TF has Oud 24 beat there with a slightly more earthy and natural opening. The dry down though, I seriously couldn’t tell a difference. Longevity and performance hasn’t been an issue for me. Leans a bit more masculine IMO, and definitely not really an office/casual daytime fragrance. Works fantastic though as a nighttime or cold weather performer. I’m not sure about blind buying since the spiciness of this might not be everyone’s favorite, but if that’s your thing I wouldn’t hesitate to buy, especially as it is so cheap for a real solid replica.

#351 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

A really nice scent. But "Oud 24 Hours" is actually not even "Oud 2.4 Hours", but "Oud for an Hour or Two Tops." I've had it sitting on a shelf for months, so that's not the issue. It smells like an EDP strength fragrance when first applied, but it's a skin scent in an hour and not that in two. Nothing else in my experience has faded as abruptly as this stuff, except, no surprise, Ard Al Zafaraan Oud 24 Hours Gold and Ard Al Zaafaran Midnight Oud. It's apparently a trick of chemistry they've mastered. I agree it's kind of Black Orchid similar, but not close at all in performance.

LordQr

same as Black Orchid in a synthetic way,
good cheap alternative if you out of money,
But I will stick with the real stuff.

PetyaK

Only buy this if you're a fan of Black orchid , as it is the same

MySkin

It was a blind buy based on the reviews and I must say it was a failure.
It smells cheap and synthetic and I can not get any of the main notes.
I am no fan of Tom Ford after trying few of his creations but if BO smells like this, Jesus, it's awful.
I have few Lattafa perfumes and they are a top quality scents compared to this one.
It's boring, linear smell, especially irritating in the beginning.
No spices, no oud...no chocolate...
Stays close to the skin and I am trying it in a warm weather of about 25 C, so no expectation for a better performance. in colder days.
I honestly don't know if I would like it at least a little after letting it mature for a while or layer it with another scent.
I am 90% I will gift it to someone who will enjoy it.

Melody Valentine

Just got this yesterday so I know it'll get stronger after it's sat for a while. I used to think that was just a myth but after getting a few Arabic clone perfumes that hardly smelled of anything at first that ended up being beast mode I've changed my mind. This isn't bad to start with though. It lasted on my hoodie well into the next day but had faded a bit compared to others I've got.

The smell is very, very, similar to Black Orchid. I don't own Black Orchid but I've smelled it and I've got another dupe of it. It is missing that earthy truffle note and the slightly medicinal blackcurrant in the opening but it's not noticeable once it's dried down, they're identical in the air after a few minutes. Some people might even prefer it that way but I do like the liquoricey opening of Black Orchid and the other dupe I've got has that too so I'll layer it over the top of this. This one is more chocolatey so they both have things I prefer about each one. It's totally unisex but I can see why some women find it too masculine and some men find it too feminine. It's a strange one and I can totally see why some people find it too weird. I used to hate Black Orchid, for years, the first time I smelled it I realised I'd had a really cheap dupe of it a few years prior and I'd hated that at the time. However it's grown on me over the past year or so, my tastes have changed a lot, but I don't want to spend that much money when I can get 100ml of this for less than £15 and it came with a free body spray.

This is chocolatey, rich, with incense, patchouli, spices, creamy florals (I could have sworn there was some rose in it), woody, slightly sweet but not sugary gourmand sweet, and just perfect for the winter. It smells like the inside of a hippie shop. You'll either love it or hate it. It's quite a distinctive scent. If you don't know whether you'll like Black Orchid then it's a great way of finding out without risking loads of money. As I said, I expect it to just get even stronger over the next few weeks and months so I think it's an absolute bargain. For me it's an everyday scent but I'd definitely wear it for a night out too, I think most people would say it's a night time sort of perfume and not "office friendly"

fantaorange

very synthetic

sami66436

This is very similar to Black Orchid, but it really does lack the complexity and the deep richness of the original. It's missing the earthy notes and the truffle, but is still maybe 90% and for the price it's worth it. Most of these reviews say this is more masculine, but I'd say it's just as unisex as the original, so pretty feminine.

AuraAngelMuse

As a woman, I really like this. I also think it would smell great on a man as well. I've only had one real Tom Ford fragrance in the past and that was Velvet Orchid Lumiere. Upon spraying Oud 24 hours I immediately got a similar smell that I remember from Velvet Orchid Lumiere. It reminds me of black licorice and pine trees. But you also get the sweetness and spices. However it's kind of a nondescript sweetness and spice for me and the rest is just licorice and woods. It's strong and rich and lasts a long time, though I do spray my clothes so that helps with longevity. I will probably repurchase this again because I did immediately get that Tom Ford feel when I sprayed it. It smells really good mixed with Shaghaf Oud, Fakhar Rose, Choco Musk and some of my other sweet fragrances.

Edit: I realized this reminds me of a less sweet Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna and also a bit like Fatale Intense from Agent Provocateur. Which those two perfumes are what Velvet Orchid Lumiere reminded me of when I had the real deal. I used to layer it with Reb'l Fleur because they smelled similar, but Reb'l Fleur added sweetness. Wearing Oud 24 Hours makes me want to buy Reb'l Fleur again 😭 adding that one back to the list

I like this on my husband even better than on myself. I sprayed it on his jacket and we went out to the store. I kept smelling it wafting around from his jacket and I thought I was about to go feral. It smells super sexy on a man in my opinion.

dexwine

I have never smelled Tom Ford's Black Orchid. This fragrance for me is chocolate and spice driven with wafts of gardenia and spicy florals. If you want to smell mysterious and expensive this is the way to go. The quality for the price is just amazing. This fragrance is not for the shy man or woman. Its fierce and for me, its a beast both in projection of the scent bubble around you and its longevity. Definitely a unisex fragrance and will be loved or hated depending on your tastes by both. For me she is a Love.

876Beauty

Dark, woody and spicy. Very masculine leaning. I sampled this because I was curious due to the chocolate note. I do get the chocolate but it is overshadowed by the wood, in particular sandalwood and amber. The oud is tolerable.

This would smell amazing on a man in the fall and winter time but this family of fragrance is just not my cup of tea. Happy to have sampled it though.

julianne.dubois

The most straight forward I can be is to say "Honeyed rum, flowers and a dab of patchouli."

ihsanizwer

"I could eat this fragrance" (3)

That is exactly the thought that I got as I had some whiffs of it. Not something you'd where as a daily driver. But something to where for a special occasion.

Darkstar _ Destroyer

As others have said, this is Tom Ford Black Orchid at a HUGE discount. You'll pay one-tenth of the price for Tom Ford, but you'll smell like you're wearing the expensive fragrance.

I actually like this better than Black Orchid, and I have both. The TF version smells much more funerary.

Akel

So close to Black Orchid especially the dry down. It's strong really strong and fills the room easily. To my nose is more feminine but i wear it too. If you like Black Orchid just buy it

Wael'Sniffing

Just some short reviews for this sweatheart, not trying to hype. I am from anti stage:)))
- Loved or hated fragance. I really hated it at the first sniff and thought this is a failed blind-buy but getting flirts recently.❤️
- This have improved so smooth after a few months.
- Absolutely more than 12h lasting. I mean that is the "eternal" level. Stronger than before.
- Greatest sillage in my collection.
- Unstoppable drydown. So elegant and sexy. This work so well on me and my darling. Unisex? Yes, sure.
Yeah, maybe some people or a lots hate it when others trying to copying the original creation. Relax, this is cheap. It works. And..."WORTH"

Pastor jeff

Having a look through the pyramid the ingredient that smelt familiar to me could be the incense in the base.

Pastor jeff

This scent has something in the drydown that every now and again wafts up reminding me of playing rtype 2 the arcade machine in the late 90s,that was situated in a chip shop where as teenagers we'd play said machine late at night. I'd smell a aroma wafting from the back of the shop that smells of one of the ingredients in this scent.funny how some scents have a effect on you like that.

vikipetrov96

It’s 95% black orchid,I own both love them both the same.Black orchid bit more potent .What an amazing fragrance.
PP-I noticed the new batch code is reformulated sillage and longevity are halved SHAME.I have new batch code and 2 year old batch.Let's see as it ages if anything improves...

Rajahuss

This is a lighter version of TF Black Orchid. It is a bit more powdery than TFBO but it’s basically the same scent profile. Very nice the Black Orchid can be super cloying (it’s suuuuper strong!) if the person sprays too much but this one doesn’t get like that because it’s a bit lighter. For the price this is a no brainer.

jessetn

overrated. it's not necessarily offensive, but it just doesn't do it for me.

spartaksci

Man, this is identical to Black Orchid in the air. You can't tell them apart when you get whiffs of it. It's one of those. Shove your nose on your arm though, yeah, you can tell some minor differences. Still, for this price, this is unbelieveable value. In the drydown it gets even better, and it smells even more similar to TF, the only difference being the "density" of the fragrance, not the smell itself. The TF is way heavier and full, and honestly, more feminine than this. My only gripe that makes this a Like and not a Love for me is the performance. I've been told this is one that really benefits from maceration, so maybe in a couple of months it gets better. For now, i only get 1 hour or so of active projection and like 4 hours of skin scent.

Bboy555

Hi Guys,
question: Oud 24 hours or Just jack Orchid Noir?

I have smelled Oud 24 Hours yesterday and it is VERY close. I think the original TFBO is slightly different from the Original. It is reformulated.
So Oud 24 hours is a really great clone..
But can someone tell me if Just Jack Orchid Noir is even better?

Afc_Croatian

Holy fucking shit, pardon my language.
Arabic clone fragrances have been hit or miss for me: It is either fantastic or completely different. I Must say Oud 24 Hours is amazing, extravagant, a 90-95% clone to Tom Ford's Black Orchid which I love so much.

That dark chocolate and spices is ever so dominant with the slight oud on the dry down. It is about as earthy as Black Orchid if not a bit less.

For $35 I am beyond impressed with the similarity to Tom Ford and it's longevity.

9.5/10

afaninc

Not bad I like it but if this bootle finished not buy again this is my opinion may be changed in more wearings.
Before buy must check otherwise for mature noses this is save buy

edneyheleneusa

This is a very good scent, i compared with the original black orchid and it's just INSANE how it performs, it's louder, and lasts longer, i cant believe it!!!!!

There's a little bit of the deph of the sandalwood missing on this one comparing to the original, but it's almost not perceptible, i would say its 98% spot on, i'm getting some backup bottles, this thing is nuclear!

It lasts for days on my clothes, it's shocking!

aliidom86

Blended to perfection! Sweet, warm, spicy, and sexy with decent performance. Could've easily been priced at triple what it costs now and no one would've complained. Thank you AAZ for this gem.

Cameroff

First and foremost, I've never smelled TF black orchid. I'm interested in the DNA and accord structure alone, not the bottle or the luxury buying experience or the ingredient quality. Oud 24 Hours by AAZ is a wonderfully warm ambery chocolate thing that brings out some of my favorite things in amber fragrances. Below are a few things I noticed about this fragrance.

1. The vanilla is well blended into the composition and doesn't overpower the ambery facets. This doesn't smell like a vanilla gourmand. It smells expensive, a little boozy, and mysterious.

2. The florals are present, and they do not overpower the other notes. They are exceptionally well blended, and they aren't interfering with anything else. They're polite if you could call them that.

3. The patchouli is great. It's dark and blends well with the incense, amber, and woody notes. I've been looking for fragrances that have the trifecta of amber, incense, and patchouli, and this ticks my boxes. The incense here is clearly a perfumer's "take" on incense, and it doesn't smell like myrrh or olibanum resinoids are present. It lacks the pinenes and green terpenic facets of incense that I prefer, but that's not really the point of this fragrance.

4. The price point of this fragrance is incredible, especially considering the 100ml volume and the packaging, as well as the quality of the perfume. The packaging itself deserves a reward. The box is gorgeous and includes a spray aerosol deodorant. I think I paid under $30 to get this fragrance from Amazon.

5. The longevity isn't amazing, but it is serviceable and reasonable for the price point. There's maybe 4 hours of detection, and then it becomes a skin scent. I don't mind that. I recommend skin and clothing application for this one.

Final thoughts: I think it takes the right confident person to wear this one. I'd ideally wear this at night, in any setting, at any age. Ideal for date night, dinner with family, or even at work, depending on how you spray it. This one isn't super fresh. To me, this is a nice, comfortable amber fragrance that has some woody, spicy, and semi-gourmand facets to it, and some nice creamy florals. Great price and ok longevity. 8.5/10 for me.

BonClay

This smells way better than black orchid less floral and sweet more dark chocolate and dark woodiness amazing price and came with

I blind bought due to many reviews down here. I must admit that this is the worst bling buy i did this year.
I bought it th same time with Lattafa Bade'e Al Oud and noway to compoare these two to each other becuase LBA is much better.

Joey3105

Without a doubt the most challenging fragrance (to my nose...) in my collection. Some stages I like as it dries down but still figuring out if this is for me or not. It does last forever and a bit!
Update: This one will go to some lucky/unlucky guy as a gift or handout. Not for me.

Ignore all reviews and listen to me :)

It’s 95% black orchid
I own both
I love them both the same
Black orchid bit more potent but I’m sure you won’t even
Tell the difference after 2 min of applying.
Maybe oud 24 bit more powdery which is a good thing.

What an amazing fragrance
Can’t believe I got it for that price.

Don’t think twice and buy one or even two
Since you pay for shipping already and it’s so cheap.
Unbelievable that all I have to say.
I solute this company no words

Wesley Lee

Wore this today to try, the performance is actually really good, i only try 2 sprays, and it projects well and long lasting. But ppl ard me couldn't stand for this scent, they said its too middle eastern 😢

[email protected]

Wow... What an amazing fragrance at an amazing value. Almost similar to Tom ford Black Orchid. I have both and I can not differentiate them. It was just £12 .....I can not expect this Gem at this price.

littlestar1

A totally masculine scent, very strong silage monster, I don't find it unisex.

WetWhitePaint

diet black orchid.

Bregondo

Scent is really, really, really close to Tom Ford's Black Orchid. In the opening, they are indistinguishable up close and in the air. Same projection. Drydown, Black Orchid feels smoother. Longevity, Oud 24 Hours is longer. Price, Oud 24 Hours beats Black Orchid obviously. Oud 24 Hours is literally Black Orchid in a different bottle and with a lower price. They are extremely identical, this is my honest opinion, and I don't get why people disagree.

TucoBennedicto

Another one bites the maceration dust.

Autumn_Moon

I stumbled across this in a sample box and, having *never* heard anything about it... I blindly sprayed it on my wrist. (Yeah... I'm a lot more cautious with most things in life, but I can be like that with scents sometimes. I figure... the worst that could happen is that I dislike it and have to wash it off.) I had no clue that it was supposed to be similar to (or a "dupe of") TF Black Orchid. The name *certainly* didn't give me that impression. I thought I was in for a heavy, possibly animalic, oud-centered fragrance. As it turned out... not quite!

But, having tried Black Orchid (EDP and Parfum versions), I have to admit... the resemblance is there! Is it absolutely identical? Well, no... some of the complexity of Black Orchid EDP is absent in Oud 24 Hours -- but, if you found certain notes of the TF composition off-putting or difficult to tolerate (but otherwise liked the general "idea" or "profile" that Black Orchid was trying to present), Oud 24 Hours might be worth a sniff. I'd say it felt roughly 90% similar to me in terms of the composition itself. On me, Oud 24 Hours progressed to the middle notes and drydown stage more quickly, and its sillage was "moderate" for the first half hour or so, after which it faded to "minimal." TF definitely projects a bit more, even in its current formulation. (So, if you like the fragrance profile, but prefer a more intimate sillage, Oud 24 Hours might be the way to go, but this seems to vary from person to person, so YMMV. As with many things, I recommend testing at home before trying to wear it in public.) Longevity was solid; I could still smell this on my wrist the following morning (it was a skin scent, but it was still there and still identifiable).

And the price?! The price is jaw-droppingly low compared to Black Orchid! I have to admit... I'm impressed, and I would consider sampling more of what this house has to offer.

zelodev

Be careful not to overspray on 1 spot, it turns very animalic. Lasts 6-8h on my skin, much much longer on clothes (takes 2 washes to get it fully out) with monstrous opening projection then a calmer 1-2ft scent bubble on drydown. Great dupe of Black Orchid, differences are insignificant as Oud 24 Hours is creamier (less striking) and maybe more masculine. 10/10 would recommend as a winter/fall fragrance, but not office-friendly at all due to the scent profile and sillage.

Don't be alarmed if you go nose-blind to it, it's still there and others can smell it. You'll get whiffs of it throughout the day.

Shikin27

Tried a bunch of perfumes at a middle eastern shop, I have never really paid attention to this but decided to spray a little on my wrist. Out of maybe 7 fragrances I tried, 2 was a stand out and I couldn't stop sniffing them. One is this, I don't know the notes or that it's a dupe of black orchid when I tried. All I know was that this smells amazing! I kept smelling it and I thinking omg ok now I know why I keep seeing it everywhere. I just never bothered to look into it cos its sooo cheap! I'm late to the hype.

Antmo

For me this has a strong Gardenia note. I smell it all the way through mid dry down. This is a very masculine way of wearing gardenia. I like layering this with Zara Acting Out, Adding more mandarin and spice to the mix.

Enar_smells_good

So I bought the 50 ml bottle for $13 plus shipping. So I just want to take a moment to appreciate the price. Now that that is out of the way, I must say I am impressed! I don’t own Black Orchid but I have smelled it. This does feel very similar. Maybe if you did a side by side comparison there are slight differences but, dupe or not I really enjoy this scent. It’s beautiful, just the right amount of sweetness and depth with some floral notes to freshen and brighten it up. This is really nice! If you like Black Orchid, but not the price, I’d say this is probably a safe blind buy. I’m happy to have it!

Minorick

This is my favourite cheapie,am in my 3rd bottle and I'll buy another

Detman101

Oof...this has some strong florals in it.
Smells more "middle-aged lady" to me than anything.
Also might some rose somewhere in there...that's a turn-off.
I think I'll pass this on to the wife...This is just a little too floral for me.
My bottle of "Oud 24hrs Majestic Gold" arrives next week...I think that will fit me better.

Great clone of Black Orchid by Tom Ford

benkim

I could see how this gets compared to TF Black Orchid. This opens up sharp sour citrusy with the warmth of cocoa powder on my skin whereas Black Orchid is more rounded fruity cocoa in the first blasts.
Drydown somewhat converges with TF, although this somehow feels sweeter than TF almost nauseating if I were to smell it up close.
My skin eats fragrances, and this was a better performer than TF on my skin lasting about 8 hours, probably 2 hours longer than the OG.
Sillage I felt was comparable between the two, about ~2 ft from the area for an hour or two then it sits closer to the skin.
For the price, this is probably punching above its weight.

CROMarko

incredible value! This performs just as good as TF and it also smells 99% the same if not better. This is the best clone I have ever tried so far. Very pleased with my purchase

Ovoronkova

I like this one. Smells more expensive then is it. You have to give it a little time to settle. A little salty and chocolate 😍

dysect

Its a clone but the quality of ingredients really set it apart from any the Black Orchid flankers. For the price you cant complain but it smells like a watered down room spray of TF than a fragrance.

Dancer@20

I tried this , I
love it, my wife tried the OG she got a terrible headache immediately, she prefers Oud 24 hours is no offensive and smell more masculine.

NischalJimee

Mine has beast mode performance; 2 sprays fills the room, lasts over 8 hours on my skin. I’m not exactly sure though if I absolutely love the scent; definitely sweet but I don’t get much of the dark chocolate, floral and incensy. Good to wear in cold weathers. Overall great one

LadyJedi

No doubt it smells like BO and the price is ridiculous. Sadly it stays too close to the skin and doesn't project at all. People have been praising its performance so I assume I might be anosmic to it for some reason because it doesn't stay on my skin.

DBlack47

Oud 24 hours is a deep, dark chocolate scent for winter wear. As everyone has pointed out, this is very close to Tom Ford Black Orchid (TFBO).

Starts out as Dark Chocolate with mild orange notes, drying down to fruit, amber and spices. In the late stage I get Amber, incense and patchouli, the dark chocolate stays throughout the life of the fragrance.

Not as complex as TFBO, but complex enough if you’re anything but a fragrance connoisseur.

Lasts around 8hrs on my skin, projects like a beast and has great sillage. Definitely a date night scent, colder weather and for close encounters, however for intimate encounters, 2 sprays are more than enough and wait an hour or so for the dry down.

TL:DR: Deep, Dark chocolate, spice, patchouli and Amber for close encounters, date night on a cold evening. 2 sprays for intimate encounters.

Rating: 4.25/5

La Nuit Noir

Similar to Tom Ford Black Orchid - but distinct in that this is sweeter and more focused on the chocolate with less truffle.

Overall very close to Black Orchid but this is noticeably sweeter and has less depth with fewer notes to pick out, that might work better for some people but I find I miss the detail you get in Black Orchid.

That being said, for the price of this, it's an absolute must-buy if you like Black Orchid and want something with a similar vibe that emphasises an exotic middle-eastern chocolate-type scent.

AdamC937

Oud 24 hours
Al Zaafaran has truly impressed me again. Oud 24 hours is an excellent fragrance overall. Off the top I get warm, floral, powdery, orange, and slight incense scents. A really pleasant Mmmm was my response and still is. As it dries down the masculine really comes to the front. The comparison to Black Orchid is absolutely true. It a really nice addition to a fall collection. I would give 81/100. Longevity is average 3-5hrs, Projection is better than average, and Price: No brainer if you like these types of scents.

Perfumelover2003

Oud 24 Hours is the best dupe of Black Orchid by Tom Ford
I watched an interesting review on a YouTubechannel :
Marco 4 U Perfumes
So affordable and a quality scent.

ScentManJojo

Fruity, Jasmine and Gardenia? Yes. Spicy? Yes. Patchouli, Sandalwood and Chocolate? Yes! That's what I get from the start, through the mid and into the dry down. Starts feminine and turns more unisex in the dry down. I would say when it's a skin scent, about 5 hours in for me, it is slightly masculine. Overall it is nice. Very close to Tom Ford Black Orchid. I wouldn't blind buy, so sample first. Otherwise... Enjoy!

x.marX

Wow! wow! wow!
What a fragrance!

After the initial 30-40 mins are over, it smells heavenly!
I'm gonna buy like 2-3 bottles of it just in case it becomes difficult to find.

Lulu04

This has a banana note that is quite noticeable at least to my nose. I also get chocolate and spices for sure. I really like it, especially for the price!

**trying this on its own, not in comparison to what it's supposed to be duping**

hossmonkey

Very much resembles Tom Ford Black Orchid. It does however have an unpleasant opening!? There is a top note that overwhelms me in the first few minutes of the opening. I don't know what it is, but have smelled it in 40s-60's older fragrances. Fortunately, the note disapates and or blends and is no longer noticeable; The elixir dries down to the Parfum Magnifique that surpases it's dime store price tag!

A must for anyone who enjoys a rich & creamy, mocha floral.

Happy Smells to You All!

Deniz S

Yep as everyone is saying, this is a Black Orchid clone.
Smells very very similar and very worth buying if you want black orchid on a budget.

Phailures

It's good and smells a lot like black orchid, but it's missing an earthiness to it that BO has, although I do not think anyone would be able to tell the difference in the air unless, they are comparing them side by side, as it still has the same unmistakable BO smell. My biggest issue with it is the performance, I feel like it does not stay on my skin that long, and also does not project very well. That being said I still do think this is a great BO clone for the money, definitely worth a buy if you want to smell like black orchid without paying BO money.

Lotte_Liese

I would say this is an ~85% dupe of Tom Ford's Black Orchid. However, it's quite unrefined when compared with BO.
It's too bitter (dark chocolate), too dark (woody notes) and too spicy to be a unisex fragrance in my humble opinion. This is totally masculine.
I’ve tried to combine it with sweeter things to make it more wearable for a woman, but this becomes dominant anyway.
The longevity is off the roof- days on clothing and 10 hours on skin. It projects really well too.
I still prefer black orchid to this beast as it’s truly unisex. I've phased this out from my collection.

alexhasfragrances

I love spicy fragrances, I love woody fragrances, I love sweet fragrances; all three in a bottle right here, spicy, woody & sweet. Cheap and good smelling, it was gifted to me two days ago and today I'm wearing it for the first time. The smell is strong and invading, I begin to go nose blind quick but people around me can still identify it on me. I have high hopes for this to get me through the day, only 2 sprays application✌

Daddyadzz

If you want a TF black orchid alternative but at a cheaper price then look no further. I own both bottles of TF black orchid as well as 24 hour oud and once I was wearing 24 hour oud and a lady was assured I was wearing TF black orchid.

randomkiddo

I have no idea what Tom Ford smells like so I don't know if they are similar but this is a really good fragrance. It lasts easily 10 hours and projects incredibly too, and that is really impressive considering the weather here in Malaysia is almost always hot and humid. I found the smell a little overpowering at first but about a week later I decided to try it out again and now I'm in love with this. The highlight of this fragrance has to be the price. This is the cheapest in my collection and yet it's performance is one of the best if not the best.

Scotty123

It’s not bad honestly. It’s definitely a unique fragrance, not a mass appealing market monster. It smells expensive given that it’s almost an identical clone to Black Orchid. Doesn’t smell cheap at all. The only reason I’m not super excited to have this fragrance is because the scent itself isn’t much my taste. I was hoping for more of a dryer woody backbone with everything else tied in, like an Ursa or Straight to Heaven kind of woodiness. Don’t get me wrong it’s not bad at all and one I’ll probably keep as I’m sure it’ll grow on me as it ages. All in all it’s a great BO alternative for those looking.

marwan ysl

smells just like tom ford black orchid less offensive. you can not go wrong with this one for 15 bucks

LadyJedi

I expected a warm woody floriental but on my skin this smells spicy and woody in a synthetic way with no sweetness in it whatsoever. It's similar to BO indeed but with limited projection and moderate longevity. And it can be found at a very attractive price, no doubt. It brings me no pleasure, sadly, so I'll probably give it away.

Ash212

Ahhhhh, the reviews were right. This does smell like black orchid by tom ford! The similarities are more evident than the differences. The only negative that I have is that the beginning is very weak and synthetic - and you don't get that hit that you would from TF. I was let down for a few seconds but for the price..... can't beat it! Yet to test strength but my nose feels a little burnt with 3 sprays.

a.elmahdy

This is a great and cheap Tom Ford Black Orchid alternative. They smell very similar, with this beautiful chocolate note, the woody undertones and the "cold" sweetness envelope. Black Orchid is much better in terms of sillage and longevity and it feels much more complex overall. The chocolate note of black orchid lasts for ages, and there is a distinctive pistachio like "edible" note. In oud 24, the chocolate note fades away after 2+ hours, and gives way to sweet and slightly spicy woods with a beautiful incense at the base. It lasts almost 6+ hours on skin and 8+ on clothes. Certainly recommended for the price. Safe blind buy if you like black orchid by Tom Ford.

jjluvsm9

This is objectively a great buy. Smells VERY close to Black Orchid, my mother owns it and I swear I can't tell the difference even smelling up close. Longevity is good, projection is ok just moderate. Price is unbeatable. I'm not sure if I'll keep it or gift it to my boyfriend, though, as I find it leans a bit more masculine than what I like. It has strong woody notes, I also get the decadent dark chocolate and a LOT of sandalwood and amber, but it gives off cologne/aftershave vibes as it lacks sweetness. I'm surprised I don't like it as much as I thought I would on paper, but this is purely a taste thing. For me, this is a WOODY SPICY perfume, sweet is not a word I'd use to describe this. I don't smell any oud in this at all, which is a bit disappointing given the name. So yeah...objectively a nice scent, but not what I expected/wanted.

EDIT I still use this but mainly to spray on clothes/around my room

My rating: 5/10
Bf rating: 7/10

Vince1964

If you like Black Orchid and most of its variants, then you'll also like this. Strong, sweet, very intense woody Oud. Projection.... arm's length, sillage...short trail and longevity, is on me anyway, about 3 hours. Short in everything except fragrance, it does smell epic.

sarabx5

Striking similarity with Black Orchid
One of the best cheapies ever ...... worthy

Smellend

I can only compare it to Black Orchid Parfum. The scent it instantly recognizable as black orchid - It lacks the immediate richness and depth of the parfum (lack of truffle?) but having sold the parfum as I didn't wear it enough this makes a great replacement. A little softer. For the price (£11) its probably one of the best value fragrances I own.

lifeofS89

Black orchid for £13. Cant be bad.

scent 8
Performance 8
Price 10

Diari

The first hour or so I smelled orange and chocolate, then woodsy spices settled in. It's a decent clone, but it lacks the pissy-buttery quality from the truffle note that gives Black Orchid its warm depth. Sorry, was there supposed to be oud?

uc21

Extremely well-made and intoxicating smell. It opens with chocolatey citrus blast which quickly settles into fruity flowery alluring smell to end with strong patchouli, which is just heavenly. That mix of patchouli with hint of white flowers is phenomenal. Initially little bit tobacco like present, adding to masculine seductive side. But definitely unisex. Performance is ok, and doesn't project much but who cares! Its so exhilarating that you want to smell more and more of it, unforgettable dry down.

FJBunsen

It's a decent clone of Tom Ford Black Orchid I'll admit, for the price. I'd say Beast mode performance. you could choke someone with this fragrance if you do more than 3 sprays. Massive statement maker though. Just if you can afford tom ford, then go for the real thing.

ElinfromtheMoon

This is a weird one for me. Based on the notes, I expected something warm and sweet.
Well... after the first blast of warm chocolate and citrusy notes, it turns into a cool aquatic fruity scent with a hint of patchouli. It's not bad, but not what I wanted, I hate aquatic scents on myself. The drydown is warm ambery wood, that turns aquatic again.
So this fragrance turns hot and then cold, aaaand now we think of that song, don't we?

This weird rollercoaster lasts 12 hours on me btw, and I hate it :,D

t3nlikescookies

Black Orchid has been my signature scent for a few years now, so I am pretty familiar with the scent profile.
Oud 24 Hours is extremely similar. During the initial 10 minutes I seriously cannot tell the difference between the two fragrances in the opening. As the fragrance starts to dry down and I sniff my arm roughly 20 times over and over I can detect something is slightly off in the balance of notes and this is indeed not my Black Orchid. But it's highly unlikely that someone who does not wear BO regularly will be able to tell the difference. Hands down, this has to be the best clone fragrance I've ever smelled. Fast forward a few hours ahead, the final stage drydown is a bit less in your face and perhaps more practically wearable.
Many of the reviewers here have complained about extremely weak performance. I can happily say that this is not the case with my bottle. The original BO is absolutely nuclear when it comes to both sillage and longevity. Oud 24 Hours is not on the same level. On skin I can get 5-6 hours, on fabric it's at least a whole day. This is by no means bad performance, and for the price I cannot be mad. A lot of designer fragrances with 100€+ price tags perform worse! You can get a bottle of Oud 24 Hours for 1/6th of the price of Tom Ford, which is arguably the best thing about this frag release.

personal tip: layer with YSL Opium EDP or another smoky myrrh/incense fragrance for an extra punch and additional depth!

DrJames

I'm sure if you like black orchid you'll probably like this, but I really don't.

I haven't tried black orchid - I won't bother now. Not my cup of tea at all.

UnearthlyApothecary

There IS a distinct similarity to Black Orchid but not as rich and lacking the depth. To me, it’s more masculine and has that “cologne” vibe I don’t get nuclear silage from this, 5 sprays to my arms/upper body and it’s barely noticeable. The silage must vary from batch to batch. I bought the 50 ml
for 5.95 from Al-Reshad. It’s a great value for sure

Zepster77

Interesting the wildly varying reports on the strength/ longevity of this one.

Perhaps the newer bottles just need a little time to ripen.

Very nice perfume for the money. As nice as it is, a sampling any of the Tom Ford Velvet Orchid releases should quickly prove to your nose that this is but a pretender, and that the synthetic struggle is real for those of us unable to afford Tom Ford. No matter. I dig this. I just don’t reach for it often these days as I find myself preferring more masculine scents..

My 2018 bottle performs great… no complaints there

Thatbwoy

Oud 24 Hours…worn for 12, reviewed 20hours later

Apologies to start, I like metaphors and similes; I’m not into deep critical dissection of singular notes if you are after that then please someone with far better nose has more than likely posted their thoughts on the notes and their thoughts.

Anyway…

When I was young you had to go to the market to get certain foods, especially in the UK; supermarkets sold ‘none of that foreign muck’. So my mother would once a month take me to Wembley Market. It was annoying, boring and a trial for a child not old enough to be left at home alone. At the end of the day I would get 50p and a choice of the sweet stall.

I always choose chocolate covered honeycomb. But it never tasted like Crunchy bars it lacked something and was way too hard, but after that long day being pulled around all day I loved it.

Tom Ford’s Black Orchid is a scent I like, a scent I had a decant(s) of and will own a full bottle of one day, if I ever get over the indecision of purchasing it. Tom Ford’s Black Orchid is the Cadbury’s Crunchy Bar of chocolate covered honeycomb.

Ard Al Zaarfaran’s Oud 24 Hours is ‘Beryl Pick n’ Mix Hunnicomb’.

I know this is a clone, it’s very much like that honeycomb from the market; it’s harder not so sweet and the chocolate isn’t soo smooth.

The opening is obvious that this is not original composition it comes on cheap(er) and the impression is that it was made with cheaper ingredients and with an emphasis shifting numbers through as many retailers as possible. Whereas Black Orchid is definitely unisex this is more male leaning. In truth this type of scent could be disregarded as a ‘dumb reach’ but I’m honestly thinking of when I can wear this - what occasion and I’m honestly thinking it should be when I want impress - though I’ll have to put it on about 40 mins before hand as the opening is soo strong; that sucker sticks around like an obnoxious doofus at a party - only once s/he’s gone you can really start to enjoy yourself.

What would I give it? 7.8/10…I might just save this for those long work meetings - or when I want to make an impression.

Relaxing Aromas

Amazing blend of scents, bears similarities to TFBO, but the performance is a disappointment, even for the price.

kiaoi

This review is for the rollerball oil. This smells expensive and elegant, I feel like I already have smelled it in the past, it brings back a far away memory to me. I don’t know why, but it makes me think about the 80s and about the women who were wearing real fur coats, with red lipsticks and the hair perfectly layered and softly curled. If you want to smell rich and give an aura of elegance, this is for you. A perfume for a Fall or Winter night out or for a cold Sunday outing. Too bad the oil is weak, I expected it to be strong and project better.

JeffWatkins

A great low price middle eastern fragrance. It lasts well enough, I get about 8h, it projects reasonably but not huge. Sweet but not sickly, complex enough to not feel overly simple. Does not smell synthetic to my nose (despite almost certainly being made of synthetics at the price).

Having smelled them side by side, aside from the truffle and more naturals and dynamism in the opening, this is very close to Tom Ford's Black Orchid. As BO isn't the most expensive Tom Ford and it has nuclear performance, I'd urge you to try the real thing, but Oud 24h is a good "tester" to see if you like the Black Orchid DNA.

Genuinely unisex in my opinion. It's likeable and slightly different without having anything too weird going on. Is it a scent for life? Probably not. Will I use the entire bottle, definitely.

JackScents

The scent is great 9/10 performance isn’t great but i’d but just for the scent ! I was new to fragrances and tried this out I wasn’t a fan at first but now I can’t stop spraying it just wish it had performance on clothes it is great for skin

bethnalween

Beautiful clone, great value too. Leaves a little to be desired performance-wise but will update once its been left for a few months.

Chanel de Lanvin

You can also test Unique Impression by Asgharali, the outfit is good, I appreciate it when I'm not wearing Black Orchid which is still the must-have.

JackScents

For the price you can’t go wrong definitely a good scent. Didn’t like it at first but has grown on me it’s very cheap so safe for a blind buy and if you want to have a idea of what Tom Ford Black Orchid is like.

Layoon0808

Oh my. I haven't smelled the real Tom Ford Black Orchid but I've smelled many dupes of it and this by far is the strongest candidate. This is a beast. Very long lasting and radiates everywhere. People will be smelling you before they see you. I sprayed it on a piece of paper which I left on the desk overnight and suddenly the next morning I noticed that everything smelled like Oud 24 hours, even the tissues in the box!
It has a prominent chocolatey note which I'm not complaining about because it does a great job of balancing out the woodiness. It is a unisex perfume and I think would suit men and women equally. Amazing price and overall a great heavy perfume (but in a good way) to add to your collection, especially if you like ouds and woody fragrances that have some sweetness to them. Great stuff!

Controlledbyscent31

A cheap BO tom ford dupe that will need re applying throughout the day but for the price can't complain

imtahirbhatti

Love the way it feele like sweet chocolate with florals.

Vikkinca

A large Black African woman was checking we all had the correct documents to renew our motor vehicle licences as we stood in a monstrous queue outside the Post Office in Durban North. When it's my turn she takes my documents, stops, looks at me, leans closer and says:

Woman: "Say yes."
Vik: "Yes?"
Woman: "Good. Now you're my boyfriend for today."

😅😂

She let out a loud bellowing laugh, which got the people around us chuckling, too😊 She moves on to the person behind me, and tells her: "Eish, this man is dressed to kill and is smelling good. I think he came just to see me." *more laughter*😂

Two hours later, as I left the Post Office, my new extra large Black girlfriend shouted: "See you next year, boyfriend!"😄😂

What a day I've just had! That woman made my day, and so did Oud 24 Hours. Nobody asked me what I was wearing, and in some way I was glad no-one did. Thing is, I might have fibbed and said Tom Ford's Black Orchid😉 And quite frankly, I would not have been totally wrong, because Oud 24 Hours is probably the most nailed-on clone of a fragrance I have ever worn. Amazing stuff. This is Black Orchid, folks, but with better projection and longevity. Only two sprays on my body, one on my coat.

It's $15 for Oud 24 Hours, but the quality is as good as the Tom Ford offering. If you're a fan of Black Orchid, you just have to get Oud 24 Hours⭐

Seriously thinking about sending that woman at the Post Office flowers and a basket of goodies. She made standing in a queue for two hours a pleasure, boosted my ego, made my week✨

Gaharu Cendanapula

Just received. Blind purchased. The juice is nuclearly powerful, can wipe a nation. Too sweet to wear. No oud at all although after 8 hours, and the sweetness still exists on the next day. Smell like a car fragrance. And unwashable in my skin. 2 days cemented on my sweater. And that is just 2 spits!

Edit: The smell is amazing after 3/4 days on the clothes. Now I will spray it on my clothes and leave it for days before wear it.

Madyana

i like this a lot, the aroma is airy, almost bubbly fruit, still deep without being heavy at all. The note of the chocolate is mixed beautifully, the aroma is not bitter. I can't find anykind of agar wood here, but patchouli and smokiness give a nice base, without still getting dirty or heavy. This scent is so balanced at makes me really curious about Tom Ford’s Black Orchid?

piofrag

amazing scent.
no lasting power, after 2 hours there is absolutely no smell at all, and is those 2 hours its skin scent with no projection at all.
100 ml bottle made in uae 2021.

DLF

I purchased this after watching YouTube reviews. These days I don’t wear fragrance on my skin, so my review is based off of wearing on my clothing. A couple of sprays lasted me all day. It’s July now, so it’s too hot to wear it, but it will be great in the Fall. The t-shirt that I wore yesterday is still smelling delicious.

Smiley98

Love at first smell! Especially the chocolate!

daveugber

My teenage daughter LOVES Oud 24 Hours. It is a phenomenal fragrance. Problem is, I never get to wear it anymore!

salmansoleh99

I don't wear it too often. Good for the night, but not for the day especially in tropical region.
It's okay-ish for me only because of the mid note and base note. Not a fan of the opening.
Quite strong and long lasting. Spray on clothes can last a day or two.

Akhilknr

I have no idea about how TF BO smells but its too feminine.... first it comes out some bitter candy smell then the florals coming up, mainly the gardenia and jasmine and a little ylang ylang, this is the dominating smells nothing else.... its synthetic &smell cheap... don't just blind buy its more suits to women, absolutely not for gents !!... mine is 2021 batch, bought it from UAE
Price 30dirham's / 8 dollars..

Madnanavej

I just blind bought a 20ml parfum spray travel size based on reviews and similarity to Black Orchid, which I absolutely love but can't afford. Its so close to BO and to my nose smells almost the same. On its own its a great scent and distinctly different from my other perfumes, especially designer fragrances which are so common smelling. I smell a lot of plum, its dark, a little sweet (plum) and slightly woody- simply heavenly!

The price point is fantastic, bought this for SGD6. I would wear it anytime here in tropical Singapore. The downside is it doesn't last long or project well - a reviewer below says the glass bottle version is different from plastic and mine is plastic, that could be the reason. Its a skin scent for me and fades after an hour.

Regardless, for the price can't complain. If you want a Black orchid type scent, this is a great choice. Am off to buy the bottle version now :)

Lilwizprince

I had to change my rating from “Long lasting” to “Eternal”. Considering Fragrantica’s logic, it’d be unfair if I rate this “long lasting” when this BEAST stays ‘12+ hrs’ on my skin!
Smells amazing too. Sweeter than Black orchid, in my opinion.

NOTE- Even though it’s impossible, but If you have the 100ml original juice and you are experiencing poor performance, my advice is allow it sit for a while, the performance would surface soon!

Don’t review the longevity of this fragrance with the oil version or the 50ML plastic bottle version!!!! In my experience, those ain’t the same concentration and formula as the 100ML original Juice.

Fipo010812

This is much much on the feminine side, i was expecting another type of smell

lightborn

This review is for the 10ml oil.
Review in 1 sentence - warm sweet floral chocolate.
The opening is briefly fruity chocolate, but in no time the florals come to the fore. I'm not sure if it's the jasmine or the gardenia as both scents are similar under a chocolate cloud. There is a light spiciness depending on how the wind catches it, and at one point I almost thought I could pick out the ylang ylang. The traditional soft drydown of sandalwood and amber is there trying hard to break through the floral chocolate. I notice balsamic is mentioned in the accords, towards the end I could agree with that.
Sillage is moderate for the first 3 hours or so. Longevity is very good at over 10 hours, but most of that time is spent as a light skin scent. I found it was at its strongest for about 4 hours.
In summary I like it, but I wasn't as bowled over as I thought I would be.

mazga

This is Black Orchid Parfum(the golden bottle) to a tee. The only difference is a bit of 'harshness' in the opening where you could detect TF's higher quality. After the 15 min mark...it's so damn close that you just can't justify the price difference.

Edit: performance is excellent!

Wanted to point this out since I've read quite a few reviews where people were complaining about it. Bottle was gifted to me last year.

MarvinK

Weird that people say its weak.. u smell this the next day on clothes..

Scentlover86

Smells lovely but the performance is terrible. I know it wasn't expensive but I have better performance from pound shop edt's. Its not olfactory fatigue and no, I'm not used to the smell it's just piss poor weak. It's been watered down that much, you'll get better performance from a 20 year old splash bottle of 4711 cologne that's been exposed to the elements for half of said 20 years. I cannot and would not ever recommend this product to anyone. Seriously, save your 12 quid and buy something else. Seriously!!! DO NOT WASTE YOURS OR ANYONE ELSE'S MONEY ON THIS CRAP!!!

oTis102p

@jesseh - When I first got this I had a similar experience to yours for the first few wearings. Keep at it and once you get some more air in the bottle the strength/sillage/projection problem you are having should correct itself.

When you start your perfume collection, you start to buy the top rated fragrances .
When time passes, you discover what really make difference to you, what not.
In the end , you realize you just need no more than 10 top quality fragrances .
Others, just don’t need to be so good.
I am not a huge big fan of TFBO . This fragrance is good enough for me, specially in dry down .
It is very usable , even in summer nights. So, why pay 300 U$ ?
The quality is good, lasts 7-8 hours and the price is the best point .
I think if you are a really fan of TFBO, buy the original .
It has better ingredients , lasts longer, the silage is greater.
It’s quality cannot be compared to Oud 24 hours .
Is undeniably better .
But, for me, I will stay with Ard Al Zaafaran Oud 24 hours, and I will not go back .

Really enjoying this fragrance lately, especially in the bitter cold we are currently experiencing in the UK. A fantastic, warm, inviting, chocolatey-sweet scent. A true gem for the price! The only criticism for me is the longevity, it really doesn't last longer than 3/4ish hours on my skin which is a shame but for the price you can just top up, it's no biggie. The sillage is good for about an hour, leaving a nice scent trail - after that it sticks close to you. Also, definitely unisex!

goldiloks

Lovely fragrance, but beware if you have any skin sensitivities. I had an allergic reaction to this (I have the oil). Came out with a massive hot red rash on my arm. Not sure what might have caused it. The spray might be a safer bet!

oTis102p

Very likeable! I can't imagine anyone of either sex would be offended by this or dislike it; it is a very socially positive and fun scent. Laurentiu20's experience and description is pretty much mine as well. I would caution, though, that this is more sweet/floral/gourmand than it is woody/spicy. This makes me want to label it feminine-leaning. That said I am totally comfortable wearing this as a man. I just really like it and can see wearing it casually for a variety of social occasions. I am quite pleased at the quality and character of this scent especially vs. its cost. Recommended.

Addendum: Over time this has moved from a "like" to a "love" for me. I find it more than a little addicting. Although I have always liked the chocolate mint opening and sweet, fruity mid, it is the spiciness and woodiness (especially in the dry down) in combination with them that really has made this a special and lovable scent to me. The oil roll-on will accentuate the sweetness, chocolate minty, and floral notes. The spray will bring much more of the woodiness and spice. I was wrong to state that this is more sweet and gourmand than woody and spicy. It is a beautiful combination of all of these. It is not a masterpiece but I don't care. I love it regardless.

Laurentiu20

It starts very nice, minty-citrus chocolate. After ~15 minutes it becomes more spicy-fruity, sweet woody. The mint vibe fades out kinda quickly. The flower notes are kinda strong when it's close to the dry-down.
In the dry-down is still sweet floral woody with a nice touch of chocolate.

First time when I tested it, I thought it's weak (it was in summer), but it's not... it performs better in cold weather :)
I get around 10 hours of longevity with a quite strong projection in the first 2 hours, and then goes easy on skin. I can get sniffs even after 4 hours.

This is a gem for it's price... 10€ for 100 ml + 50 ml deodorant. A STEAL. You can easily overspray, cuz it's cheap!

edit: yeah, it's kinda floral-fruity. I can feel the Jasmine note pretty strong, even in the drydown. Jasmin note gives me a nice touch of spiciness... idk if just for me or not.
edit2: indeed smells like TF BO, but it's not as strong and „natural”, anw it's 10x cheaper.

violetbelle

I had a decant of Black Orchid, and really enjoyed its dry down. Unfortunately, the results weren't always consistent. Sometimes it remained in that more bitter opening stage the entire time. I'd read the reviews before ordering but am still stunned. Oud 24 Hours smells exactly like Black Orchid. I will say that it's even better because it works with my chemistry. I got a beautiful, sweet blast of florals and vanilla before it morphed right into that chocolatey, woody, mysterious concoction TFBO fans know and love. I would like to have written more of a stand alone review than a comparison, but I wanted a more amicable version of BO and this by far exceeded my hopes. Zero issues with performance. Absolute gem- you said it AmbuEnak!

AmbuEnak

Oud 24 Hours- it's true hidden gem
come on indonesia utubers u guys should check this one.
one of the best from Ard Al Zaafaran

scent : 8.5/10
longevity : 7.5/10 i wish better... its only moderate on me
price : 9.5 /10

Worth to buy

Aelien

Black Orchid is my favourite fragrance, but i only have a decant of it so i decided to buy this for everyday use.

Oud 24 hours is not so pungent as Black Orchid. It is more discrete, but it's still unmistakenly a clone. It smells like Black Orchid in the late drydown. For some people this might even be better because it's not so agressive.

To summarize this i'm very satisfied with this fragrance. It smells like black orchid, especially in the air. Some people say it's weak but i don't experience this problem, it lasts a good 6-8 hours with moderate projection. It's obviously weaker than orchid but for this price, it's ridiculous to complain.

I highly recommend this one. I can enjoy the smell of BO any time without having to use up my decant. If you like BO but can't afford it yet, this is your best option by far.

straightupfragman

I'm going to cut to the chase. This won't be for everyone. Scent wise, you will either like or hate it, especially if you are not so much into the Arabian vibe and aura. Personally, I like them as I often find them exquisite in composition. This one is weak on me though and isn't my ideal oud type fragrance. It is more sweet and somewhat cloying. So you may want to avoid a blind buy although with the price point, hey I don't see why you can't take the risk :)

bal026

I dont know the Black Orchid by TF but this OUD 24hours is so exquisite! REally really love it and I had several time without being sorprised by a perfume... for me this is very well blend aroma, sweet and mature. Unfortunately, the performance is poor on my skin, longevity around 2hrs and sillave very very weak.... Batch M10-200100231

Chocolate coated flowers, oud, patchouli & vanilla blend...

Wow! This one packs a punch! In the opening we get a lot of the dark "truffle" note that was famous in Black Orchid by Tom Ford... and that's just the start of things! There's a lot going on here to unpack.

Oud 24 Hours might be considered a "clone" of Black Orchid, but if you imagine that Black Orchid never existed, then this would be utterly unique! Even the fact that this has an oud note and that Black Orchid doesn't, shows you that this Arabian brand is already bringing something different to the table.

I love the vanilla drydown, as well as the floral-oud-patchouli combo, which is a nice touch. Yes, there's still the "truffle" smell/note which was the signature of Black Orchid, but there's also a smoothness and subtlety which I love here which Black Orchid doesn't have. In other words, Black Orchid punches you in the face and this fragrance hits you with a pillow. I actually find this more wearable and less harsh than the Tom Ford fragrance. This is definitely more versatile, and I plan to wear it more throughout the whole year. It's unisex, maybe even with a slight lean towards feminine (but then again Black Orchid was a somewhat butch feminine fragrance to begin with). On that note, my girlfriend loves this one, and I like it very much as well.

I'd say if you like daring, dark, middle eastern style fragrances, then this one is a no brainer. Even if you've tried Black Orchid and found it to strong, harsh, or rough around the edges, this one will please you to try and wear. I would say it's good for women year round, and good for men during the night, cooler weather and special occasions. The chocolate and vanilla sweetness is there, coupled with the oud note (which I think is the missing link that Black Orchid could've done with). I am impressed by this fragrance house in terms of quality and value for money. It's worth it if you are daring and looking for something different to mainstream trends.

Victoria58

My comments are specifically for the perfume oil rollerball. I'm surprised by the other reviews here as I found the scent extremely weak both out of the bottle and on the skin, and it disappears very quickly. I bought it along with various Al-Rehab oils that were much, much stronger. I like the faint fragrance but I can't recommend it as it's barely there.

I'd be interested in trying the spray for comparison to understand what the fuss is about!

nomad_870211

This is a very good scent, a clone of Tom Ford Black Orchid or not. The opening is okay but mid to the dry down of the scent is the best for me. Once this fragrance reaches it’s mid is where it shines the Patchouli, Oud, Incense and the other notes works in a harmonious way. Potent Oud fragrances are not the best for where I live, it just gives me headache. Therefore I would say that this is just nice although some people might say that it would be better if the scent itself to be a little bit more potent. Longevity could be better really but it’s just fine for me 4 to 5 hours, the silage is good within an hour but after that mark you’ll still be able to pickup some whiffs of it. Let’s be honest based on it’s characteristic an Oud scent won’t become a skin scent you’ll still be able to smell it even after you had your shower. I would say this is a good beginner Oud scent to start with not too funky or animalic. It is a pleasant scent.

smellsbells

Way better then newest BO!!!
So my gf who hates ALL my fragrances and says they all smell like bug spray-lol- commented this one smells really great on me.GO FIGURE HUH.

Freedomlover

Absolute no brainer if you like Tom Ford black orchid you'll absolutely without a doubt love this....... Amazing silage and very potent.......
I don't like either too me it's headache inducing.

snesbith

Weak . Skin scent at best.Does last a while on skin. Its mostly fruity with a bit of chocolate.I dont get the bergomot note in this.

ysl187

Super good and so close to black orchid, But!!! I bought a 50ml and this is weak as fu%#. 2 hours max.. I dont know if the 50ml bottles are weaker than the 100ml? But i do not get the longevity or projection that all these other people talk about..

Hasan.fragrancer

Very nice and quality for such price,if want TF black orchid clone, never hesitate just buy it

Mibsam20

based on my previous review i have done further testing it lasts on skin for me 24 hours i can still smell it the sandalwood creamy chocolate that being said i think this projects nicely for 3-4 hours on skin 4-5 on clothing go easy on the trigger

Mibsam20

This fragrance is beast mode it was a little bit risky for me this is my first time testing my batch is 2019 apparently it has been reformulated i find that hard to believe considering this is very potent its a little tamer then black orchid yes but its what you can expect from a £12.99 fragrance the quality is extremely high i've smelled both black orchid and this but black orchid was too unisex for me although this is unisex and can be worn by a woman its still manly enough for men to pull it off i mostly get the fruity dark chocolate smell through out almost like a dark berry type of smell its extremely similar to black orchid i'd say 90-95% this is worth the buy 3-4 sprays is enough on this anymore gets way too cloying it was a mistake wearing this to the gym i sprayed on the insides of my elbows two sprays i'm getting strong projection even 3 hours later so that should tell you all you need to know i'd say it'll last you a good 7-8 hours skin 10+ on clothing maybe a full day or two even be careful on the trigger of this it is strictly winter only people commenting and reviewing this fragrance may be experiencing less projection and long lasting scent trails because i have seen reviewers talk about this frag but they're conditions are different as the country's are warmer if you wear a winter frag in summer it slightly keeps it closer to the skin because of the dark notes even so in winter this would choke me out if i spray anymore then two.

The scent i'll give a 7.5-8 out of 10
projection and scent trail is 9 out of 10
how long it lasts i'll give a 10 out of 10

Rune

I don't know if I got a fake or what it is, but the smell is awful! Okey, first when I opened the box to fish out the bottle, I tried to smell in the box first, and this horrible alcohol-ish type of smell almost strangled me. I mean like rubbing alcohol, just much worse. I put it all away and decided now to try it. Something had leaked out in the box, for sure, but I don't know if it was the perfumed spray/deodorant they added, or if it was this perfume itself. I think it was the perfume. I cleaned both bottles and sprayed the perfume on paper. I did not dare to try it on my skin, because I suspected a very horrible scent. It was not as bad on paper as the leakage in the box, but nevertheless a horrible smell.

I thought this perfume was supposed to be sweet and without sharp edges. Well, I got the opposite. Not sweet at all and only sharp and horrible. I don't know how to describe it other than awful!

I will try to spray on paper once more and leave it out for longer, to see if it changes.

So, is Oud 24 Hours ment to smell kinda awful chemical and sharp, or what? Or did I receive a fake or something? I'm quite sure this is the first and only oriental spray perfume I will ever own. From now on, I will use oil perfumes only. I have never ever experienced something like this from oil based scents. Yes, I have some I don't like, but they are not like bug repellant or nail polish remover. Oud 24 Hours is more like a desinfectant than anything else.

Anyway, I think I will either have to throw the bottle away or try to sell it. But I can't sell a fake, of course. How can I determine if my bottle is fake or real? Have anybody else have similar experiences?

Spinning@backick

Best bang for buck winter fragrance in my collection. The notes are very smooth and balanced, almost no sharp edge.

This, maybe because of my skin, has a very good longevity but the projection just moderate. If you spray on shirt it will last whole day.

ViouAmara

Are we speaking about the same fragrance ? Pressing my nose on the skin, faint chocolate, perhaps some vanilla, no trail. Did I receive a bad bottle ? It is the second time I buy an oil without any smell. I wonder if they change their quality.

MaungmaungJoe

Bought because I'd tried TF black orchid long time ago, and the scent has impressed my memory since then. Once I heard that this one smells alike, I ordered it undoubtedly.

Unfortunately I forgot how TF black orchid had smelled like. LOL
By the way, the scent of this 24 hours did not make me disappointed. The middle note on me is mainly sweet vanilla with spices which make the scent mysteriously interesting.

Kitt3nReturns

Just how similar is this to Black Orchid. I like Black Orchid ok, I definitely don't love it, but I think with a few tweaks I could (plus tbh I just love this bottle) so am kinda itching to try this. When BO first came out, I smelled it in a magazine (not a strip but one of those cloths soaked in perfume that is encased in foil that you peel away) and was BLOWN. AWAY. To be fair, I was only around 12 or 13, lol, but I instantly fell in love with it's darkness. I don't know if it's the difference in mediums, my skin chemistry, or perhaps a reformulation happened, but some few years later (when I was 17/18) I sprayed it on in store and while very similar, it just wasn't the same. The magic was gone. It had become too earthy maybe (the tuber, not the patch. I love patchouli and feel that if anything, I smelt way more patch in that magazine tester), the incense too sharp, less chocolate yet all the while, the main issue was that it was NOT AS DARK as it used to be. It has become heavier in a certain way, but the dark, almost dank notes that I so loved have been dialed down. To give an example, when I first encountered it it was dark in the same way that Amouage memoir woman is (though obviously not the same scent or a dupe). Now it's still heavy, but spicier, more like a typical oriental. It's not all that different, don't get me wrong, but whatever made it so magical is no longer there. The first BO I smelled really had nothing to do with it's later sister Velvet Orchid. Current BO has everything to do with VO, it's basically just a darker version of the same scent. Hmm perhaps the current BO is sweeter too, and more floral, something I just realized while comparing it to VO. Anyway, can anyone tell me if a reformulation has occurred? It's driving me crazy! And of course, the million dollar question, is it likely that THIS will satisfy my craving for the BO I'm wanting? I absolutely love oud and Arabian perfumes so I'm thinking if anything might do it for me, this could be it. Even if not, is it still something I might like enough to successfully blind buy (no way to test) even though I don't love the current Black Orchid one bit?

PS. Whether or not BO has been reformulated I'm sure my chemistry may play a role as even with the current stuff, the opening is decent and a dupe of the opening that remains smelling that way or deepens with time is something I could very much enjoy. BO, as it dries down, actually gets much lighter and almost a bit screechy and this is where the massive resemblance to VO really comes in. This is also what ruins it for me. So all that said, should I try THIS?

Edit: I see the reviews below say that the chocolate note in this is very pronounced and that excites the hell out of me. I LOVE the luscious dark chocolate note in BO and have always lamented that it's not stronger/does not last. Another reviewer mentioned the tuber is weaker here, more good news to me. Finally, how strong is the patchouli? Stronger than in BO? I loooove patchouli, the darker the better ESPECIALLY mixed with a good, rich, dark chocolate note. This really sounds like it could be the answer for me so if anyone can address some of my concerns here I'd appreciate it as I try not to blind buy but this is sooo tempting...

True story, I actually first encountered this fragrance at an airport. At the time, I didn't know what it was called and I remember very distinctly the sillage it left behind. It was absolutely mesmerizing. I'm so glad that I've finally found it for myself!

To my nose, Oud24 is absolutely amazing. I don't really get much of the bergamot, but the chocolate note is definitely pronounced. In fact, the chocolate in this reminds me a bit of Hugo Boss TSPA for Her - which is mouth-watering. The spice, jasmine and incense take over shortly after, which does evoke some childhood memories. And finally, there's the glorious oud. Do let me warn you, the projection of this frag is monster so please be careful. Only 2 sprays (1 on the back of the neck and 1 on wrist) fills an entire room. Longevity is insane as well, I've since showered TWICE and I can still smell it on me. Currently, i'm wearing Dior Sauvage EDT and the scent from Oud24 still manages to come through and surprise me, thankfully they blend really well together.

Eugenia Olesen

It is similar to Black Orchid but without the truffle note that makes BO so earthy, mysterious and dark. I personaly prefer BO, but I must say that Oud 24 Hours is a gem. Great quality for the price, and it lasts 6-7 hours on my skin.

ThePaleHorse

Bought a 10ml roll on for next to nothing and I was very surprised. It's definitely sweet, almost too sweet in the beginning but damn if it isn't addictive. Never smelled Black Orchid - I don't think I need to.This is another cheapie banger, love it.

mmmmgood

I don't mess with the Middle Eastern houses, anymore...so I thought. So, I buy this, and all I can think is "this is dying to be layered with a vanilla-something". Presto!..got a vanilla body spray that lasts. And what do you know?...I left bite marks on my wrists, after I tried chewing it off.

and by the way?...it smells just like BO, Im sorry. And Im all good with saying it doesnt smell like BO, if thats the case. No big deal, if it isnt...but it is. Especially, on the opening. Which was such a copy of BO, I glanced at the bottle, just as a knee jerk reaction, akin to checking to make sure I didnt lose my mind, and grab my bottle of Maremma, another clone of BO, albeit, fuller and more refined.

I would even go so far to say, it lasts longer than BO...at least thats been the case for me, in this warm weather. And they even packaged what looks like a 20 ml of body spray/deodorant. And yes..it has solid longevity, too.

aqcmme

Similar to Tom Ford Black Orchid? You bet it is!

Exact clone? Not quite. BO is more complex n polished. I have both. But the difference is little.

Beast mode? Sorry nope. Hugely disappointed with the sillage n longevity. 2 hours maximum, I got the 50ml 24 Hours Oud and while it smells pretty close to the TF BO, it last but a fraction of the time. Skin scent in 2 hours.

Conclusion: a steal at this price point but be ready the scent ain't a monster like many claimed.

muminharoon

There's a lot going on here. Orange and cocoa on the top with florals in the middle. But for me the real beauty here is the balance of the ylang ylang with the patchouli, sandalwood and oud note; it's almost cola like. A little coconut too.

Gorgeous. Okay, there are comparisons with TFBO although Oud 24 Hours is less sickly on the nose. It's sophisticated on both men and women.

Far more expensive brands could learn from Ard Al Zaafaran on how to produce such a beautiful, memorable fragrance.

volodq1978

This is NOT UNISEX !!! It's 100% WOMAN EDP - TF BO !!

Billy Belial

As already mentioned, this is Tom Ford Black Orchid clone. And damn, this is good! Clones usually smell much cheaper than the original fragrances, well, this is a perfect exception! Beast mode longevity, amazing performance, and the price is ridiculously low! It's a true hidden gem. Big respect for Ard Al Zaafaran for that.

msajoy

Love Tom Ford Black Orchid?cant afford it?get this one for 15 USD and you got black orchid... beast mode...amazingly close to BO..great for cold nights...go only 1 spray...its potent :)

NiceNiffs

As good as everyone here said it is. Really nice straight down the middle unisex. Cocoa, fruits, faint florals and incense with oud. It plays a very 'heady' tune yet cuts a seductively 'smart' or 'elegant' swathe (according to whomever is wearing it, of course).

What is so disappointing about this though is that on my skin at least it doesn't last much beyond 1 hour when it becomes a moderate skin scent with all but no sillage at all. If my skin had allowed this beauty to shine for a good few hours then this would have become one of my staple fragrances. I envy those who get better performance from this - I so wish I did too.

I'd not tried anything in the Tom Ford Black Orchid type of unisex fragrances before but this one has opened my eyes to even more possibilities in perfumery. :)

Bleedingnosehairs

I really like O24H. It lasts about 4 hours on me which is pretty good considering my body chemistry seems to eat even the strongest oud. I bought this as a sample and ordered the 100ML bottle for $34 shipped. It is a favorite regular in my rotation. You can wear this any time/occasion.

goldiloks

I bought this because I adore Black Orchid, but it's quite pricey and I often find that it wears me, so was after something just a teeny bit more subtle. So thought I'd give this roll-on a go!

Well, it's a very good dupe of BO, in some ways. Its feels lighter and brighter, more fruity, and seems to be missing those dirty earthy tones of the original, and that weird cucumber note. This will be a welcome change for some, but those are aspects that I really miss here! :( Longevity and sillage a mere whisper compared to BO, but for £3, yo'ure not going to get a nuclear scent.

Strangely, this is what I expected Black XS to smell like. The latter I find very pleasing, but I have always been a bit disappointed with it's lack of mystery. Oud 24 I think is a nice halfway house between Black XS and Black Orchid, although quite different scents. If you like one or the other, this is worth a sniff?

Not bad at all! It's not as rounded and smooth and complex as BO, I think this stands up in it's own right, if we stop comparing to BO for a second.

£3 for a lil' BO daytime top up, perhaps?

Narseille

Bought Oud 24 Hours 2 weeks ago, after wearing it for 5 times, here is my initial conclusion of it vs TFBO:

Scent: ~95% similar
Longevity: ~85%
Sillage: ~75%.
Value for money: 110% !

Vostok308

Well, like everyone else says, it's close enough to Black Orchid that most people around you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
I put the spray on over the roll on. Best of both worlds regarding longevity and projection.
I bought a 50ml bottle from ebay for £5.50.
Ridiculously cheap and such surprising quality.
There's a lot going on with it but the over riding notes I get are dirty orange and dark chocolate.
Night Flower by Milton Lloyd is very close to it as well so that's worth keeping your eye open for if you like this.
I feel that although anyone could wear this it would be a perfect choice for a confident older man in a casual setting like an evening chatting in a pub.
I enjoy it very much and feel as if I've stolen it!

I've dropped lucky this week because I scored a 100ml flacon of Dirham for £9.99 also from ebay after being inspired by ifishares on YouTube. This too is a very different and pleasant scent with good if not outstanding performance.

GRAF

If you are a fan of Tom Ford Black Orchid and want a more affordable version this is the answer. In the air nobody can distinguish Zaafaran's clone from the original TF. Moderate sillage/projection, very good longevity.

The only difference you can feel is from up close, the person who wear this scent, feels it more airy than TF. It doesn't become cloying like TF. It's a more friendly version of TFBO or if you prefer it could be a reformulation of it.

Personally I can wear it with pleasure. But not the original. The best TFBO clone ever. Period.

tayyabforyouth

(Review for the oil)

This smells exactly like Tom Ford Black Orchid, but for $5 as a perfume oil attar. I can't specify exact notes but it's a unisex fragrance that smells dark, floral, and with dark chocolate nuances. It smells absolutely fantastic. Sillage is moderate while longevity is quite good at about 6 hours. Overall, this is a wonderful attar that smells way more expensive than it is.

4.5/5

Carlitos

Oud 24 Hours by Ard Al Zafraan is one of the many less known gems that qre produced in the Middle East.
The bottle is nice and heavy although a bit tacky. There is to much information in all the bottle sides resulting in a poor image. The odd "look" is compensated by the confy "feal", as quality craftmanship is used in the bottle, cap and sprayer.
It is a perfect blend that results in a fine and alluring oud fragrance. It's dark, mysterious, sensual and very classy.
Oud 24 Hours it's like a gourmand dessert that you love and enjoy from start to the end.
I am not sure if it is a compliment grabber but it sure attracts a lot of attention. On top of the sensual not cloying sexy scent, the above average longevity and the heavy sillage contribute for the lucky wearer to stand out. It lasts for 12 hours and sillage is enormous filling a room for 2~3 hours and projecting an arm length for 2~3 hours more.
It is a unisex fragrance but it devellops a totally different efect on men and women. Strange enough it is almost a double personality as it is preety manly on men andoques a lot of femininity on women.
As it has been noticed by all the reviewrs, it is a "look-alike" of Tom Ford's Black Orchid and its streght stands half way between the BO EDT and EDP. It's less harsh than the Tom Ford scent, and by being more civilized it's easier to wear it for both men and women. The only diffrence I can notice besides the opening harshness resides in the fact that you don't have oud in Black Orchid. Oud 24 Hours proposes you a sweet, tamed and almost discrete oud somewhat disguised by the patchouli and the sandalwood notes.

Top notes are bergamot, mandarin orange and dark chocolate; middle notes are spices, fruity notes, jasmine, gardenia and ylang-ylang; base notes are amber, incense, sandalwood, patchouli and agarwood.
Although they are not listed I do detect a strong vibe of coconut in the opening for a short time, and a very strong note of sweet vanilla in the bottom notes and drydown.
In the opening you are confronted with a gorgeous dark and sweet black chocolate note. The choco note combines heavenly with the spicy and fruity notes that follow.
Agarwood, patouchilli, incense and vanilla do rule over the vast majority of fragrance longevity, particulary in the drydown. The notes are very similar to the ones you find in Tom Ford black orchid perfume.
Oud 24 spreads an impression of exclusivity and distinction based on the strength of this lingering perfume.

Lets confirm it with the Oud 24 Hours math:
Scent Opening: 9.0 (my judgement)
Scent Dry Down: 9.0 (my judgement)
Longevity: 9.0 (12 hours+ with three sprays)
Sillage: 9.0 (fills a room; 10~12 feet projection at its peak with 3 sprays)
Uniqueness: 7.0 (Besides Black Orchid you have the magnific Charriol Royal Gold, Maremma from Tiziana Terenzi, the very cheap Estiara Fleur Noire, 24 Gold and many others)
Compliments: 8.0 (close to a serious compliment grabber although it's a head turner because it puts you in the spotlight)
Wearability: 7.5(Use it day or night during Winter and Fall; You may experiment it as well in Spring colder days and nights)
Versatility: 7.0 (Don't abuse of it as a day scent. Don't use it in the office. Avoid using it in Beach, sunny events and workout.)
Quality: 9.5 (my judgement)
Presentation: 7.0 (nice box, tacky bottle but looks solid and expensive)
Price: 10.0 (100 ml non tester for £ 12,50 + shipping)

Overall rating: 8.36/10.00
I recommend this fragrance!

Got the concentree perfume oil roll-on (10ml)

This is aphrodisiac!! It is very addictive!

It smells like those spicy South-American or Mexican foods that smell delicious but you can't put them in your mouth because are very hot-spicy, but sweeter... Cacao-sweet to be more exact.

For the lasting power on this oil: I have to say that it gets you through a day easily with very good projection. I don't know how the EDP is, but I strongly suggest buying the oil.

Merclex

If you like Tom Ford Black Orchid you'd like this as it is 95% just like it, but a lot cheaper. To my nose it's slightly softer than BO wich I like.
Buy it and you won't be disappointed coz it smells gorgeous.
On my skin it lasts 10+ hrs on clothes 24+Hrs

9 out of 10.

Sir Smell-A-Lot

Not as complex as Tom Ford's Black Orchid, but at £12.50 who cares! Great longevity (lasts over 12 hours) and sillage (an atomiser I decanted into leaked slightly and my toiletry bag wafted of this for weeks). This is defintely unisex but only for the confident male!

Reminds me b of Bath and Body Works' Black Amethyst

Wow this stuff is bonkers.

I get a delicious mix of earthy coconut with white flowers. Towards the drydown both notes go on to smell more and more well-blended. The main player is the coconut but it is the complementary role of the flowers that constitutes most of the beauty. A toffee like sweetness also keeps peeking through. All three facets keep the wearer well entertained through the wearing.

It is marketed as unisex but is closer to the feminine side of the spectrum. Smells almost innocent and i don't get any darkness or mysteriousness.

A must-have and considering it's price and quality one should not hesitate to blindly purchase this beauty.

I tried this in Birmingham a few years ago and all the way home (stuck in traffic for hours!) I was totally intrigued and intoxicated. (I don't mean I was drunk)
It was one of those where I knew EXACTLY what this reminded me of almost immediately. I say 'almost' because the opening is such a strong, chaotic, swirling of notes that it's really difficult to discern what's going on. Then when it's settled sufficiently it's basically Tom Ford's glorious Black Orchid. Again...I say 'glorious' but I gave my bottle of Black Orchid away to a friend of mine as I thought she'd appreciate it more than I did. That's the main problem, although dark, exotic and with gourmand facets which one could argue are the epitome of unisex, I still find it too feminine. Because of the glaring comparison this is the case for Oud 24 I'm afraid.
It has a sweet but a little smokey oud opening, then chocolate, cacao, patchouli incense and exotic florals pour out from what is a BIG fragrance.
I don't go in for this being an exact clone of BO, put it this way I think I could tell them apart from the opening in anycase. This has more of a middle eastern feel, it's woodier and more raw, becoming even more complex. Yes I know than Black Orchid a massively complex perfume in itself, a statement that shouldn't be possible, but Oud 24 Hours manages it somehow.
I still found the floral aspect way too much for me and it grated in the same way as Black Orchid.
So is this a cheap and viable alternative? I'd say so, the performance was very good but I also remember that being the case for the TF too. If you like BO it's worth knowing this stuff is out there.

Thank you guys for all your reviews, they made me buy this perfume and I am very happy with it! I have 50 ml EDP, this is really similar to Black Orchid. I wanted to buy my first Arabian perfume and chose this one because many people voted it reminds them of Black Orchid which I love. This is long lasting with moderate sillage on me, very beautiful and quality stuff.

ledlight

Just received my 20ml bottle blind buy, based on the reviews and i have to say, this perfume is really high quality and contain luxury scent, they have some oud vibes but very soft, last for very long time after 2 sprays,

Scent 10/10
Sillage 9/10
Longevity 9/10 (8 - 10h)

nose for it

Strong and long lasting but sickly. Has some lovely vanilla notes but with a rotten vegetation vibe on top.

corkscrewcurly

I reviewed this fragrance in 2016, testing it simultaneously against Black Orchid.

Given recent comments, I thought I should qualify that I tested the EDP, NOT the oil (which I haven't tried).

For anyone interested, richmilton has altered his review so that he is no longer attacking or being rude about another reviewer. For this reason, I have also amended my comments.

Spray is brilliant ...buy with confidence ...cheers

@corkscrewcurly - I did not criticize anybody. Further, English is not my native language. Besides, this is not a grammar review site is it? it's a fragrance review site. I don't use spell check nor do I care if my pronuctation fails to meet your snobbery. My review stands as is. Oud 24 Hours has no scent. Others here I hope notice that 90% of your review above is about my lack of English, and ironically you said few words about the fragrance itself. Thus it's clear my negative opinion on this fragrance touched a nerve with you. Sorry for having an opinion. You reviewed this fragrance a year ago then came back to attack me on my review a year later. Hmm?

The oil it has literally no scent! I've never been so disappointed in a fragrance, I expected so much more. Its not a big deal because it was only $8 but the name itself Oud 24 Hours, the positive reviews, and comparisons to Black Orchid had me to believe this was good. I've bought and sniffed hundreds of fragrances, maybe over a thousand, and seldom I come across one with little to no scent. I can't tell if I like it or not... Because I can't smell anything.. it's water in a bottle! Maybe the spray version is better, but in my experience the oil is a pass.

sarlouben

This is my review for the 10ml roll on.
on first application smells very medicinal almost minty but soon fades, Smells quite similar to black orchid but not as strong and not as long lasting. I'm getting a spicebomb vibe from this aswell. I would say all in all a very pleasant alternative to black orchid but you will need to reapply throughout the day.

shavenonthedarkside

This not a review if you smelled Black Orchid. This is confirmation it smells like Black Orchid. This is a more masculine version of Black Orchid with an Eastern tinge to it. Ladies, no worries you can still wear it too!!!! Still sweet, delectable, and floral.

Great performance and dirt cheap. As a man, I owed Black And Velvet Orchid. Love them both and wear them unashamed. Women love both of them on me. However, I traded my Black Orchid because of this gem. It was no need to have both. Anyone who says this is not bang on 90% in every way is still caught up in the prestige that "Tom Ford" brand holds. Eastern houses are helping fragrances addicts feed their habit in a responsible way. Buy if you like Black Orchid or you are running low.

YT shavenonthedarkside has spoken.

I don't own black orchid..To me this perfume is a feminine version of "bvlgari man in Black" without the black feel..I gave this to my wife.
Just to add performance, quality and everything about this perfume is great and for the price it's a steal.

In addition to my previous review can anyone compare this perfume with "velvet oud" by mpf

Molko

I ordered blindly 20ml (travel size) from this juice and when I tried, feel it at first, I thought instantly I needed more and more, so I bought another 100ml :) I love this stuff, so easy wearing, modern, funny, but special, you can't meet with this everywhere. Mugler Pure Havane was my fav fragrance so far, Oud 24 hours is my new, sometimes Havane is too much, but this is perfect, I can wear everytime (also in the summer), because it doesn't smell dense, nor light, just good. It's an oriental perfume without the typical oud, rose, oily, mature, heavy features, smells different, I think more western to the nose, likable.

update: in colder weather seems better performance, bigger sillage, bolder scentbubble around me :)

sweet smell of summer

Just ordered the 10 ml roll on through Ebay Australia .
Can't wait !!!

Josephazzato

GirlyScientist just get the edp it's worth it

can get it on ebay for $34-$38 if you check well :)

GirlyScientist

Has anyone experienced both the EDP and the oil? The oil is so much more affordable, but I'd rather get the spray if it's better. Thanks!

marko.refael

This is for the oil 10 ml.
Flowery and chocolatey. So the effect is almost coconuty butter milk vanilla and flowers...a very butiful unisex
Perfume, I can imagine an office scent..
And suite and tie scent so very versatile.
Tom ford in this bottle as well..
Safe one to my opinion ..very recommended.
But performance is 1 hour strong and than
A skin scent for 3 hours then fades as a vanilla one hour and disappear ..of course its on my skin.

aaronstarks73

I agree with those that say it's about 80% Black Orchid. That opening is identical, but O24H immediately "softens" and smoothes out while BO still kicks its opening a lot longer.

Also, the chocolate in BO is a lot stronger while O24H goes to its floral almost immediately. They diverge from there. O24H becomes its own lovely scent that's not quite the magical, seductive monster that BO is. It's softer, quieter but still amazing. Will update later with longevity after wearing to work tomorrow.

I owned Tom Fords black orchid and used up the last squirt some time ago. With a wife and cat to feed I have not had the funds to justify replacing it. When I read that Oud 24 Hours supposedly smelt the same I bought a 50ml bottle for £4.99 with free postage. (Yes £4.99!!!)
Having owned the original I can put my hand on heart and tell you this fragrance is 90% the same. Not quite as dark and not quite as long lasting but even the cat thought I'd sacrificed his months supply of kitty Kat to buy another bottle of Black Orchid when I wore 24 Hours.
This stuff is absolute quality for the money. My Wife actually prefers this over TF has she found the original too heavy. This is a must have in its on right. Great bottle. Great scent. Black orchid at a massive discount.

spoombung

As other have said, this is a very impressive clone of Black Orchid beautifully blended, complex, long-lasting...perhaps ever so slightly lighter then the original.. and for a small fraction of the price.

Randylee
