I think i just get noseblind to this the moment i punt it on. People are saying this is insanely strong and sweet. But i barely smell anything.

I wrote my first review about 2 months ago when I first got this fragrance it filled up a room then, now after it maturated for 2 months I bet it could fill up an entire building!! I only sprayed twice yesterday and my friend said he could smell me from 20 feet away so we went and measured and he actually smelled me from 20 feet away!!! Not only that, but I went swimming that day and I was in the water for 2 hours straight and I took a shower right afterwards, and when I got back to work my friend said he could smell me from 4 feet away!! This stuff is a powerhouse be very careful. Plus I have br540 and the extrait and it starts off br540 but leans more extrait later kn and it's amazing. Definitely buy!!!

Never have so many strangers approached me, every time I leave the house wearing her I get asked what her name is. She is so easy to get along with and she is persistent, she loiters all day. She let's her presence be known. She's sharp and soft, she's spicy and fresh. She's hard to describe and oh her bottle, tacky and pretty. She is a unicorn. I need another.

Powerful, huge sillage, and thats a bad thing, this is something you need to like, and everyone around you needs to like it, or youll be hated, its sickeningly sweet, when you put it on it feels like you have a liquid film of this scent on you, its not, good, nobody i asked liked it, nobody. Pencil shavings, potpourri, wood or moss or something, theres so many thing’s wrong with this cologne, and its so strong, do not spray more than twice ever.

Yep this is the best BR540 EDP dupe.
Tried many others and the OG, and this is the closest. Near identical to MY nose. One of the best from Armaf. If you want a richer and longer lasting version of higher quality that's a clone of the BR540 Extrait, get the Al Haramain Amber oud Rouge( might be ruby, but the red one basically)
But I'm very very happy with this one and it's damn close. Would even go as far as to say you don't need anything else if you're looking for the 540 EDP dupe.

Extremely sweet cotton candy blend does it great job cloning Br540 of course a bit synthetic but in all honesty has really good projection longevity and as the fragrance transitions just a real good vibe highly recommend

Really nice unisex smell, kinda smells like burning cotton candy to me but that probably sounds weird to others. Trust me, it’s nice. Very sweet and a little more on the feminine side but I think anyone can rock it as a guy myself. In terms of being a clone of BR 540 I think it does its job and makes a very similar scent to it. I haven’t smelt other clones of it on the market but I have smelt the original and I think they’re quite similar to an extent, maybe don’t expect a 1 for 1 but enough to satisfy those only looking for a replica.

Upon initial spray I can tell the saffron and woody notes are strong-stronger than BR540 by a lot, and I don’t really smell other florals in here, which makes this less well rounded and less sweet as compared to BR540. The ISO E SUPER stands out so much on me. The strength of this one is very intense… and wide sillage. Other people have described it as NUCLEAR and I agree. The area where I sprayed it smelled like ISO E Super for 3 days and to me it’s nauseating. This one is a no for me and I’m selling the bottle on eBay.

Disappoints with its weak scent profile dominated by alcohol, with only a faint hint of saffron detectable. Despite hopes for a captivating fragrance, it falls short of expectations, failing to leave a lasting impression.
Oaksha Sweven stands out as an impressive clone, closely resembling the original fragrance.

Not bad but not the best. Too sweet even for BR540 standard. TBH all these popular BR540 clones are kinda meh. The best BR540 clone is the one nobody talks about and that is Musk Rouge by Grandeur Elite. Better longevity, better blended, smoother and you can actually smell the transitions between the notes instead of getting smacked in the face with everything at once plus that sweetness blast.
Still, Untold is better than the Alhambra, Fragrance World, Zimaya, and the other ones. Maybe tied with Al Haramain Rouge.

Also, i've heard that the newer batches are somewhat worse. Maybe it got reformulated? My decant is from a nov23 bottle. It doesn't hold a candle compared to Musk Rouge.

I got a 5.5ml sample and it's pretty potent. I wish the opening sweetness stuck around a little bit as mine turns into fir within a few minutes and sort of smells like my balsam fir oil diffuser I hang from my rear view mirror in my car. Not really for pleasure, but it keeps my car smelling fresh lol. I might pick up Lattafa Ana Abiyedh at 17 bucks. I wish they madeca hybrid of BR540 and Erba Pura that was sub $50. I think DUA has one but it's $60.

I ordered this blind and it is the worst cologne I have smelled.
I smell nothing but cedar and fit.
I do not recommend there are no floral notes to balance.
I sprayed my linens and closet the angel of cedar was so strong I had to wash the linens.

Somewhat boozy opening to my nose, insanely strong to the point of annoyance.
Smells good, just too strong for me. Letting it sit to see if it becomes less powerful. Don't buy if you don't like strong sweet scents

Best looking bottle in the gaudy Club De Nuit line and very close duplicate of BR540. Opening is very sweet, although I eventually grew to like it, and it mellows into a resinous and woody drydown that leans masculine. However, not sure if it’s anosmia or something else, it turns into a skin scent almost straightaway and does not project whatsoever. This is the only one in my collection that I spray into the air and get absolutely nothing.

@Wizzie08 and @addangel - you aren't alone. I'm not sure if the batch we got was a dud, but I barely get any scent for Untold. All other Club De Nuit scents are very loud, so not sure whats up.

UPDATE: After talking with another fraghead, I did a test to see if I go immediately noseblind with this fragrance. To test this theory, I sprayed Untold on a paper towel while holding my breath, then left it in another room for about an hour. Going back to smell it; its loud and delicious!!!

If you believe the scent is faint to non-existent, you are likely going immediately noseblind to it like I do. Kind of crazy and hard to enjoy. Nothing else I own does this.

Not as sweet as Br540 or Cloud, but just as ethereal:) I imagine this is how a fairy would smell. Untold comes and goes swift and gentle throughout the day I’m in love.

Love this! Just wish I didn't have to wash my jacket after wearing it every time. Stuff clings to everything like the BO in Seinfeld. At least this is worth it.

I got a 10ml sample from Armaf and have sprayed it multiple times but I cannot smell it at all.

From what I can smell, its not too bad and would have liked it but so far its not that great.

Edit: just needed to macerate it's very potent and lasts a long time. Not my cup of tea though as every single girl I know smells like this cause of the Zara dupe

Ok so I got this on a blind buy guided by others comments. Where to begin..... The bottle is way too flashy and that makes it look cheap, however, it's the fragrance that really matters.
At first spray the thing is a 💣. I don't have the best nose for fragrances but this one almost singed my nose hairs. First impression was of diesel or avgas or some sort of fuel spilled on a mechanics floor and being mopped up with a very old mop.
At first spray I was forced to exit the room and shut the door, that's how overbearingly strong this is. After about 2 hrs I returned to the room and it had mellowed somewhat. So far I haven't dared spray it on myself.
Suffice to say that I now use it as a car fragrance, but only slightly. After this experience I doubt I'll ever blind buy again.

On my skin, it’s a less sweet Ameer al Oudh by Lataffa. A hint of BR but it’s not smooth at all. Same general ballpark perhaps but you gotta enjoy woods and the types of fragrances that are persistent and last days and days and stick to everything. Not a fan of perfumes that are stubborn and overpowering even when you’ve scrubbed them off! So much bang for your buck though if this is your kind of scent! I will stick to Cloud for my BR hit ;)

I’m a woman who tends to reach for scents marketed as unisex over those marketed to women 90 percent of the time. I’m not into most florals but will tolerate a bit of them in certain compositions so long as the scent isn’t too floral forward. I own this & dossier’s Ambery Saffron. I do appreciate Ambery Saffron for not smelling like burnt rubber straight from the box. Untold was a real disappointment out of the box & I was ready to swap it but was too busy the last month to be bothered giving it some time to mature. Now the burnt rubber scent did not go away BUT in an effort to not get nasal fatigue while wearing it (especially because I wear perfumes for my own enjoyment) I did some research & conducted some trials of my own. I won’t belabor the issue with all assorted methods I tried, I’ll just tell you what ultimately worked.

First I had to go 5 days without going anywhere near any ambroxan containing scent, I wanted to do a week but the flesh is weak

Next I realized through trial & error as well as research that since ambroxan molecules are so large that they overwhelm one’s olfactory function when one’s nose is just bombarded with a direct hit of it. So no sniffing the atomizer. No putting your nose anywhere near it whether someone else is wearing it or it is you. NEVER apply it directly under your nose so neck & décolletage is off limits. You can only use a total of 2 sprays to start. What worked SO well for me was behind my neck & inside my left elbow (if you have a bunch of hair that covers the back of your neck you get an extra spray allowance for that area only so 2 on the back of your neck in this instance. I almost forgot! Before atomizing your 2-3 sprays take a deep breath & don’t breathe through your nares again until you have sprayed your sprays & have quickly left that area! Now you WILL smell it & it WILL last as long as you don’t put your nose directly to it, if you want to waft it in front of your face knock yourself out. This is when I realized that for me, personally? The magical quality of this sweetness is like something from another planet with a far advanced civilization. It blew dossier’s out of the water… what about the burnt rubber? This was really only such a deal breaking problem because I wasn’t spraying 1-3 times max & following the other ‘rules’ … its still there but it smells a bit more like resinous woods, deep leather etc & even that was so minimal… I can’t explain this sweetness! Its the real baccarat only it might be better?!

I promise you that you too can smell this majestic airy aroma of the gods & you will not have a time limit on how long you can catch whiffs of it or how often you can wear it… after a few hours if you desire more than allow yourself ONLY one crappy armaf atomizer spritz & it MUST be behind your neck!

I just got this, It smells great for a BR dupe, its great being a bit more masculine than other clones. High hopes.

I've let this macerate for a few weeks as it had that strong gasoline and latex smell when I first sprayed it. I don't smell the gasoline anymore, but I still get hints of latex. I feel this scent is way
more masculine, even though many women recommend wearing this. I just can't imagine it on myself. I hope this gets better over time because at the moment I don't really love it as much as it's been hyped up by others.

I don’t know if I got a dud or if there’s something wrong with my nose all of a sudden (doubtful bc I can smell other perfumes just fine), but I can’t smell this one at all! It’s kinda crazy, I sprayed it on myself a bunch of times, but even if I stick my nose to my wrist I barely get anything at all. What I do get is pleasant enough, but it’s so faint it’s like I put it on yesterday not 5 minutes ago. Wild.

4/11 edit: sprayed this on my mother today, and I could definitely smell it on her, but still not on myself, so I think at least part of the issue is how it’s interacting with my pH. was far from a beast even on her though. barely a skin scent.

I’m not personally a fan of this but my wife likes it has cotton candy resinous woody smell that is to me very unique. The strength and projection of this is very high and I feel I would be good for layering women seem to like it more than men. I’ve been wanting to try the original and from what I’ve seen from many others it does the job of the original good enough to not need to spend the original.

On my skin, smells like sweet grape cotton candy with a hint of wood. Performance and projection is insanely good. In my opinion this smells amazing. If you can find it at a decent price and the scent sounds like something you'd enjoy, pick this up.

I’ll enjoy this while it last because I wont be repurchasing it. Out of all the dupes I will say this is the closest but I prefer cloud. The fur resin and the cedar are way to strong for me, the amber does offer some sweetness but it’s not enough for me to keep it in my collection. Decent longevity so far about 6hrs still testing it out but on my skin it does do that lingering disappearing act just like BR540.

I LOVEEE this Cologne it smells so good and strong in the best way possible, I already did a review on this a while ago but today when spraying it, it smelt a LOOTT like rubbing alcohol with no notes of wood, amber, no warm spicy, nothing but pure rubbing alcohol, I do have it in my room which doesn't have the lights most of the time so hopefully that's it and the Cologne is just reacting differently due to lack of light and I did shake it but nothing happend, it goes away quickly to no scent after 10 minutes, If anyone has ever had this problem please DM me

It’s pretty funny that @DustyMemphis has the time to leave hundreds of reviews saying the same thing over and over again… and they ask the question “when will people ever learn?” They’re on a crusade, I guess.

When I first sprayed this I couldn't smell anything, but I was testing a bunch of other colognes that day and my nose was completely gone but I didn't know this, so I thought this was one of those bad batches I read and hear about. But for some reason I gave it another chance. The next day I sprayed it on my brother and I put 1 spray on my hand. No joke people flocked my brother asking what he was wearing and giving major compliments I was very happy to see that happen, and when I smelt my hand I smelt the cologne for the first time and it was absolutely beautiful and it lasted on my hand for 22 HOURS!!!!!! Highly recommend getting this right away!!
P.S it smells feminine for the first 15 to 30 minutes then it becomes masculine.

Cotton Candy... What a banger. This smells exactly like Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP and Extrait, but for some reason the metallic note makes it slighty more masculine and more unisex than other imitations. Compliment machine. Projection, Longevity, Smell and price point are just beautiful, 10/10.

#599 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

This was the one remaining CDN fragrance I hadn't tried and it arrived in the morning mail. So I just completed comparing this to BR540, Extrait, Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge, Al Haramain Amber Oud Ruby, Mancera Instant Crush. So let's get all that out of the way.

CDN Untold, BR540, Amber Oud Rouge = no nuttiness from Almonds

Extrait, Amber Oud Ruby - nuttiness from Almonds

BR540, Extrait, Rouge, Ruby ≠ Mancera Instant Crush which has rose, vanilla, citrus, ginger, oakmoss and no nuts, so it couldn't be more different, and IMO, much better, especially for younger men and women who tend to prefer vanillic scents.

I can't tell any meaningful difference between CDN Untold, Amber Oud Rouge and BR540 in scent or performance, including the tendency I have to go nose blind with the BR540. I have a couple of other wannabe clones, like Maison Alhambra's Baroque Rouge 540 and Baroque Rouge Extrait, where there's definitely a detectable inferiority in quality and scent. In any case, I'm now up to my a** in this scent to well past my own expiration date.

I was a sap in the early days of my "Tour de Fragrance", bought the names and not the scents, and I overpaid thousands. Don't be a sap! Don't pay $469 for 6.8oz of BR540, or even $47 for a 2oz bottle of Amber Oud Rouge, when the 6.8oz bottle of CDN Untold is only $70. That extra $400 will buy a lot of scent to add to your arsenal.

I have not smelled BR, however I a
ADORE cloud. I thought it would be a nice alternative. However, I find cloud much more pleasant, a little sweeter and cleaner. This is not bad, but there's this metallic note that just ruins it. It mellows put after a while on skin, and mixing with cloud works great because it really helps with longevity, but honestly I will not repurchase and just stick with cloud.

As soon as I walk into my job, “damn (whiff whiff), smells good. What’s that?”. He was about 6ft or so away. This thing is potent! I love it!! But be careful when you spray it because it can get annoying if you over do it. I’m telling y’all, this is amazing and money that you won’t regret spending on a dupe.

I cant stand that in your face metallic smell or whatever that is. It ruins the whole scent for me. Get Niche from Bharara and thank me later!

One of, it not THE most suffocating perfume I've ever smelled in my entire life. It's ridiculously strong. Awfully strong. I've wished some of my light perfumes would perform better, but this is just exaggeration. On top of that the scent itself is awful. It has the typical men's colone fragrance that I hate, so imagine smelling that awful colone but in the most potent way, suffocating not only yourself but also everybody around you. Just no. Kudos to the maker for a fantastic performance on a perfume I guess

I have both BR540 and Extrait. Club De Nuit Untold is a 1:1 dupe of BR540 scent wise and quality. It’s mind blowing with it costing under $40 bucks 🤯. No compliants! If you like or love the original, it’s a no-brainer.

@Suicidal_wizard, Sounds more like you're angry with yourself, for wasting money on the "real" thing, that seems like a very common reaction on this site with a lot of different fragrances...

Blind bought a full bottle of this for my wife after trying a few other samples of supposed BR540 clones and was not at all disappointed. This does a great job at capturing the saffron/fir resin notes that others seem to miss and the performance is amazing. Two sprays in the air and I thought I gassed out the whole room for about 20 minutes and when sprayed on a test strip, I could still smell it in the proximity of the strip after 24 hours. Those saying this is not a dupe, I would respectfully disagree. We compared this on one wrist and the real deal on the other and you'd have to be an olfactory wizard to say these are anything but 98% similar. Yes, the 540 does have that one or two percent that slightly elevates it but for a literal fraction of the price this is a no brainer. The primary difference is that this is just slightly more woody and less sweet on the dry down than BR540.

Just got this and I'm a guy and immediately amazed lightly sweet but still masculine scent, I'm amazed will update after wearing but it's fire first impression I love it.

Update: it's projecting very strong dam good siiage more woodiness in the dry down but still sweet but not to sweet 10/10 to me can't compare to br540 Ive never smelled it but this is dam good

Update 2: woman flock when I where this cologne and compliments like crazy 10/10 for sure fall spring and winter banger for sure summer would require very little if even possible to wear then

If you only want to purchase it to serve as a dupe for BR540 edp or extrait DON’T. This is just another ambroxan bomb just like amber oud rouge and red editions.

This is not a dupe for BR 540. Those who tell you otherwise just never owned the real thing.

I've only worn it a couple of times so far, but this is unlike anything else I have. Not sure how to describe it... Words like "alluring" and "mysterious" come to mind.

People have said it can smell like burnt rubber and cotton candy; I can see what they're talking about, but that's not how I perceive this. It's good, warm. I was concened that the sweetness would be too much, but it's not.

I really like this so far and look forward to testing it further.

It smells almost exactly like Br540 extrait to my nose.

Just got mine and upon first sniff, it's much sweeter, almost creamy on my skin. It has this smell reminiscent to candied pearls burning on blomd woods.

I love the almost candied elements to it without it being too childish. I would say this is the idealoffice scent, approachable, soft and dignified.

I've never had a scent like this and dont think its comparable to anything in my collection. I don't own the og BR540 but I do love the notes . I don't get a tinny saffron, nor do I pick up a Christmas tree scent that I thought the notes would allude to.

I see it layering well with several of the scents in my collection. However, I think it needs some time to macerate
Right now, it seems to be a more faint and intimate scent, as my bottle is pretty new.

The sillage and performance is about 3/10. Lasting maybe 3 hours and not a ton of projection. I think I'll give it a few weeks to mature a bit 🤔

This Has to be the best clone out there. I think it performs and smells better than the original 540. Very smooth, and easy to wear. Definitely worth the money.

After trying this fragrance i was pleasantly surprised on how nice it was, i generally like this better than the Og 540 this one i find more woody and less sweet which I'm a sucker for and i think this can smell great on a man and a woman. I love that we have a brands like amarf who can make these great fragrances even better than the original and for 1/4 of the price. I own iconic and i find it a better version of Bleu de Chanel and i find it the same with this fragrance

I got this for about 27 dollars because I had a deal which made it less at a store and even for its original price it its super worth getting, this cologne smells great in cold weathers and alright in normal temperatures, not for warmer weathers in my opinion. The smell isn't too strong for me which I like because I like colognes that arn´t really strong. It has a good mix of wood and amber smell which makes it perfect. I personally dont love the cologne and dont just like it so i´m in between loving and liking it.

I get light sweet notes here on first burst and during dry down the amber becomes prominent.

The bottle is really eye catching.

For whatever reason I can't really smell it after about an hour, however on occasions a gentle whiff hits me.
Not sure why is been touted as a 'beast".
Skin scent only and maybe only good for 3-4 hours (3-4 sprays).

Overwhelming ambergris!! I'm getting so tired of this profile. There are so many. Some of these could be such beauties but all the other notes are stomped on by the musk/ ambergirs bullies. Such a shame, becuase the rest of this is very nice.

I bought this for when I want to change things up from my usual rotation of fragrances during the week. It keeps me interested. Definitely for men in my opinion.

Others smell it on me. I cannot. This is apparently common with BR540 as well, so I suppose it sticks the landing there.

I could smell it the first time I wore it, after that— nothing. I will let it mature/macerate for a few weeks then try it again and report back.

How is Untold SIMILAR and DIFFERENT from the original Baccarat Rouge 540 edp?

I have a top-rated review of this fragrance which is essentially a "consensus" of what the highly-rated reviewers on this post think of Untold. And overall it's seen as an exceptionally good clone of BR540 for the price and volume, there's no doubt! However, there ARE differences between the two, so I decided to make a comprehensive post in hopes of assisting others for an even more informed purchase decision:

1. Obviously Untold can't be "of the SAME quality" as the original BR540 because of the price difference--ie. presently about $50 vs. $350 respectively, by volume. The original's note quality, blend and composition etc. must inevitably be perceived as superior, at least to some degree. That said, as a clone fragrance Untold is of fairly respectable quality overall.

2. Similarly, because various "aroma-chemicals" are used even more prevalently to make many relatively inexpensive or high-performance clone fragrances, Untold is primarily a synthetically created fragrance, thus notably best smelled "in the air" rather than close up on skin.

3. Untold smells of alcohol during the open, similar to BR540's open. (Yes, it's true).

4. Untold--the way it's composed--is a straight-down-the-middle Unisex fragrance (as indicated by the voting above), as opposed to BR540 which leans feminine--by its voters.

5. Overall Untold smells quite similar to BR540 in the air--but is subtly "changed to Unisex"--due to the following compositional nuances:
a. Untold's "cotton candy" aura is darker. (BR540 smells somewhat lighter, airier and sweeter, according to BR540 wearers).
b. Untold smells a bit woodier, but still incredibly smooth.
c. Untold is a touch spicier (approaching the spiciness of BR540 Extrait).
d. There's less of the Latex Rubber vibe in Untold, but it's still there and noticeable.

6. Both fragrances have EXTREMELY good performance in sillage (airiness), projection, and longevity. But because of their exceptional performance, many will go "nose-blind" to both fragrances, as indicated in their numerous comments. To avoid or diminish this if you are affected, spray the fragrance behind your ears, in your hair, and/or on your wrists--but NOT on the front side of your neck or chest where the fragrance can waft directly upwards to your nose and cause this issue. "Average" longevity is reported to be about 8 to 9 hours with Untold, with many experiencing much more than that.

Based on the voting above, over 90% either LOVE or LIKE Untold, with the vast majority loving it. Similarly, most here personally experience it as a 90% to 95%+ accurate clone of BR540--with the majority being in the higher range. Although truth be known, few if any will even recognize a difference when they smell it around you in the air! Since it's unisex, women will STILL greatly enjoy it (per their numerous positive comments here). BUT if she or he only desires BR540-type quality, and/or a composition which leans feminine, Untold may well not be for them. Yet ultimately many more men will now be able to wear and appreciate the essence of BR540, with Untold being unisex. All to say nothing of the exceptional price-to-value ratio of this fragrance! Lastly, it's probably best to try/sample Untold before you buy it due to its price, nose-blindness, and the relatively unique nature of BR540. (Thank you for hanging in for this LONG post!).

First spray just pure alcohol i can smell then dry down i can smell a little sweetness rubberly smell that smell great but it terrible weak this is weakest fragrance in my collection maybe i got bad batch 404356 become skinscent after spray not project at all ,so sad for this bad bottle

This doesn't project or last at all 😭. I own almost 4-5 clones of MFK Baccarat Rouge and this is the worst performer. I just cant believe the performance after watching so many YouTube and other reviews. Super light, synthetic and sweet👎 maybe this doesn't last on me only 🤭

So, after lots of hype, I decided to pull the trigger. Unfortunately, it wasn't my jive. I found the sweetness to be kind of synthetic and the overall composition to be too reminiscent of a 'generic' sweet perfume. I should note that my BR540 experience is limited, since it's in very short supply where I live, and so I'm going to judge CDNU by its own merits.

The performance was actually pretty good, though in my case, I actually found it kind of annoying after a while and washed it off. I did, however, like the bottle. I think it's the nicest-looking club de nuit presentation to date. That, however, won't be enough to swing it in my book.

People I've spoken to generally like it, but I simply can't get around to that point of view. I'd be lying if I said I liked it and it's as simple as that.

Regardless, it's out for a competitive price and plenty of folks seem to dig it, so give it a try and see how it fares for you. Just make sure not to give too much into the hype.

I am not big fan of BR540, I smelled the original and it was ok but nothing I would die for. On the other hand, I enjoyed Cloud very much especially in the summer. I smelled Untold by chance when I tried Imperiale; it definitely has BR540 DNA but on me it smells a bit different. BR540 smells a bit like men's cologne on me, more masculine but Untold leaves sweet silage. I was waiting in hotel on reception and receptionist out of sudden said "I smell something sweet here" :D and it was me. So silage, longevity is great especially in hair and clothes. It last until you wash your clothes. I purchased this for 39.15 eur (did not pay any shipping or additional tax). For this price? I have no complaints :)

Edited: this is very polarising scent, some people love it on me some says it smells like burnt rubber or burnt candle. Khamrah and Nebras still remains my top scent from arabic perfumes. I will wear this but not too often as I do not offend anyone with burnt rubber smell😅😅😅one common thing; everyone says its a nuclear power perfume

The opening is very sweet, too sweet actually. the floral and amber notes are way too strong for me personally.
this one definitely projects like crazy, with a few sprays but can also cause a bit of a headache to some if sprayed underneath the nose area.
As a man, this one is a bit too feminine for me at it's opening, afterwards it does become smoother and more unisex.
Would recommend to test it before buying.

Every time I sprayed this, it reminded me of something from the past. Today I figured it out. To me, this smell is like the fragrance equivalent of the taste of superman ice cream...which I haven't had in probably 35 years. It's very sweet, 98% of the time cloying to my nose, can fill a room, and lasts forever on skin or clothes. One of the cooler looking bottles in my collection (I like the CDN bottles in general), but I've only worn the scent twice. I keep tester strips around and spray it on those when I think I might want to wear it.

Really not sure about this one. As a male i feel embarrassed to be around people as soon as i spray it on. But after 15-30 mins when it dries down, it becomes a unisex fragrance that is wearable for me. Performance is the best plus side, beating BR 540 in that aspect. It is a fragrance that you need to be 100% sure on before purchasing, there are many other killer fragrances out there that would get more attraction for a male. However when this is layered on top of CDNIM EDT it’s creates a more closer Creed Aventus clone as Untold adds the fruity accords Intense man lacked, and also dims down the strong citrus opening. Just be sure not to spray on spray. Atomise the body spraying both fragrances in different locations otherwise once the oils have mended they both lose performance.

BR540 + crystal saffron. Absolutely over the moon with this.

Closest clone of BR540 in existence. Beast of longevity and projection. If you are a man wearing this around women they will go crazy wondering what it is before finally asking you about it. Killer fragrance for an incredible price, you should just have this even if you never plan to regularly use it. Cannot say enough good things. Have a scarf that accidentally got sprayed over a week ago and it might spell like Untold until the heat death of the universe. Wild stuff.

God. This is like a rough version of Baccarat Rouge. I don’t like it. This is very masculine and nothing like BR540 which is sweeter and beautiful. This is too strong. And not the closest dupe to Baccarat Rouge.

I was scared this would be to “manly” but I surprisingly really like this. It’s layer-able, you can make it sweeter with a vanilla or more floral with a floral heavy perfume. This is great on its own though. TWO SPRAYS IS ALL YOU NEED! I sprayed this on each side behind my ears and I smelt it for 7+ hours, this is beast mode and for the pice is amazing!

Absolutely amazing. Smells very similar to Br540. You can tell there are subtle differences but for £300 less it great. Lasts 8 hours on skin and projects for 3-4. Applied it in the morning and kept getting whiffs of it throughout the day.

My nose can barely detect fragrances similar to 'Baccarat Rouge.' What I do notice is a somewhat sweet, burnt sugar candy-like scent. It's kind of pleasant, and that's about it. It doesn't evoke any emotions in me due to being almost imperceptible to my senses.
Sometimes, I encounter similar scents from other people, and my reaction is quite the same. Unfortunately, I cannot even understand all the hype about BS540.

So i had this for a couple of days and i like it.My girl likes it more then i do, but that is because ic leaning more feminine to us...It lasts eternal on clothes and projection is moderate most of the time..To us this does not smell alcoholi,medicinal,plastic,ect...It is quite linear scent all of its time but it is nice so no problem..you can putt this on anytime and any occasion all year around....It is to me wary grown up scent that demands attention...The presentation is rly bad the bottle is kinda meh, mediocre atomizer , and i dont care about that stuff until the juice is good and it is...Price is kinda big for dupe and i would not mind it if the sillage was bigger :D

This was the third BR540 dope I've tried and finally one that works for me.

First I tried mancera instant crush. I thought it was ok but ultimately not for me. It's very sweet and very strong. With two sprays, 9 hours later I had someone comment about it from 20 feet away.

I next tried Amber Oud Rouge by al haramain. It's a similar profile but had this strong latex note I found disgusting.

I was unsure about trying armaf untold but I'm a fan of most others in the club de nuit series. I like this. It's more subtle than instant crush and the sweetness is toned down. It's a bit more masculine/mature than instant crush, it has a a slight woody edge. The latex note is present but not strong and I find it tolerable here.

This is not a BR dupe. I own a full bottle of BR and while this does has similarities it is not a dupe. This has a very masculine, harsh blast of something crossed between gasoline and rubber. It then eventually dries down to something similar to BR. It's obviously an Arab fragrance. The harsh opening is very familiar to many masculine Arab fragrances. The bottle is insanely beautiful. This fragrance is nuclear. It projects and lasts for easily 9-10 hr. You only, quite literally, need 2 sprays of this stuff otherwise your nose gets blasted and I swear you damage olfactory cells! This is a fragrance for a night out....either summer or winter. I personally don't think I can pull this fragrance off. It's too much for me.

I just wanna say that God is good and protected me from blind buying some 100ml of this.

Ok , this is not a perfect dupe. It is almost identical to Zara Red Temptation but not BR, it focuses too aggressively on the hospital notes and lacks all of the background sweetness of BR. Dry down is when it gets closer to BR (still minus the unique sweetness).

Bought a tester after reading many positive review stating that it was great, close to BR540, etc. But the truth is this literally smells like foot powder. Even my brother agreed that the smell is literally spot on for a medicated foot powder my dad used to use.

I went nose blind to it after a few minutes unless I placed my arm an inch away from my nose, but people told me they could smell it. Glad I didnt buy a full bottle.

I tried this so many times but it smell like sweet engine oil on me 😫. Really want it to smell nice like everyone else. Only floral and fruity works for me.

First impression, really impressed with the longevity and the projection, but kinda disappointed due to olfactory fatigue. First spray was on the wrist. Take a whiff and immediately smelled rubbing alcohol's scent coming from it. After the dry down, it gets better. But all I can smell it a hint of sweet woody notes, which I'm fine as long as there a good woodiness smell to it. Can't really compare to the OG because I never smell one. The bottle looks nice. Feels heavy and not cheap. The atomizer is alright. The cap attached to the bottle pretty okay.

Final verdict: If you're a type of person who wear fragrance for yourself, then don't really buy this. If you wear this, you can't smell it. But other people will smell you from miles away. Don't spray too much, three to four sprays are good enough. Don't wear this if you work in food and beverage type of job. I wore this one night, a friend got close to me, not hugging me at all and asked "Dude why I smell like you right now?". Yeah, this shit so potent that it somehow can transfer the scent onto someone else's body.

Intoxicating and addicting smell. Non stop. I can smell this all day when I wear it.

Blind bought this and without owning or sampling anything else from Armaf ever, I didn’t had very high hopes, but expecting to be good because of the hype. I am not disappointed at all..rather impressed.

Smells in the same way as most of these BR540 inspired fragrances do, similar with the original but with a bit of unpleasant undertone. I don’t get the burnt rubber smell but something else bothers my nose slightly if I am smelling this up close on the skin. Like alcohol or something.. In the air it is so much better for me. It leaves an intoxicating trail…

It is intense and long lasting which I always appreciate in any scent, especially when a scent is coming at a low price like this one. Last for days on clothing. Amazing value for money, considering you get 105 ml bottle. And it gets me compliments.

The bottle and packaging is beautiful and sturdy. Heavy, golden cap. It really doesn’t look to me like a cheap product. Very colourful, girly and eye catching! I love the colours of the bottle in reality even more than in pictures, the holographic/degrade effects makes it look so cool. Over the top for some but my type of aesthetic.

For the price, this clone of BR 540 is great! I cannot deny that! But it is not my favourite. I would much rather prefer Orientica’s Amber Rouge over this one or Mancera’s Instant Crush! Or Cloud by Ariana Grande. Just personal preference.

I find Untold a pretty unisex scent, but because of the bottle’s looks it think more women would be interested in this.

I would recommend though if you’re on a tight budget because out of these three BR540 inspired fragrances, this is the cheapest at the moment. And has the prettiest bottle in my opinion!

Used to not be a huge fan of the BR 540 DNA due to a grudge against Cloud (an ex wore it) but Instant Crush changed my mind. It’s a little too thick for my opinion, and I wouldn’t pay $80 for it, so this is kind of the best pick in my opinion at only around $45. Sweet and cotton-candy like, very airy, and also has that Armaf tinge that would usually make me hate the fragrance but instead makes it perfectly unisex. Yes, I do smell the rubber on opening, but this settles a lot quicker than CDNIM so I don’t mind it.

Love love love this scent. On me it’s not really a dupe for bacarrat rouge. When I wear BR it turns sickly plasticky sweet on me, untold holds on to those woody notes much better which I love in a scent. Also this lasted 8hours for me. Towards the end it starts to have a hint of like ammonia or cleaner smell but it’s very slight and it may be just me that smells it. Unfortunately my partner can’t stand BR or any other perfumes like it, but I did really love this one

If you want a "consensus" of what the higher-rated opinions of Untold are, I've read ALL of their reviews here to save you the time: About 60% believe it's a 95%+ clone of the BR540 edp with a stronger (or darker) cotton-candy presence. While nearly 30% think it smells 95%+ similar to the BR540 extrait (being stronger and spicier than the edp). Interestingly, those who state that they have tried both the BR540 edp and the extrait, or only the extrait, believe it smells more like the extrait. (I'm in this latter "camp" too and am quite experienced in men's fragrance, yet would never say "I'm right" vs. the 60%--because of our individualized sense of smell and personal body chemistry. Clone they say! Ok no matter what you hear on here or any Youtube reviewer just go get this fragrances, you like like sweet and sticky and want it to last long and people to notice you then go get this!

Longevity is easily 10+ hours, got a strong projection for about 3 hours and a sillage that follows you around for the life of this fragrance. Lastly it is a safe blind buy worthy fragrance if you like sweet stuff because this is a bit sweet but awesome stuff!

Layer this with PINK CLOUD (the newer flanker) if you want a ROOM FULL of people to notice you !

This is gorgeous and I don’t go nose blind to it like I do BR 540. It’s way better than the Orientica clone and a better price point. I’ve been layering it with Nebras and also Bianco Latte. Sillage is 6/10, longevity is 7/10. A great alternative for those who can’t smell BR 540.

This smells like balloons and cotton candy to me. And weirdly I kind of love it. I have not smelled BR540 or any of the other clones so this was my introduction to this scent, so I was very curious to try.

On first spray I am hit by a blast of sticky sweetness that is absolutely addictive in the air. When sniffing up close on skin is where I do pick up hints of that latex note I see many others mention. It’s mainly for the opening, and it’s not as apparent into the mid/dry down. I have a hard time picking up some of the other notes listed, like Jasmine or Cedar.

It’s a really strong fragrance as well even if it appears weak to your nose at first, so I agree you may go nose blind to this quickly. I thought it wasn’t as strong as I had heard from reviews, but I had sprayed this in my bedroom upstairs and someone in the house informed me they could smell it in the downstairs living room, so it does perform very well.

All in all I think this was a good purchase, however I don’t think I would rush out to get the original BR540 and pay whatever price they charge. It’s a very nice scent, but it’s not that nice. A more affordable clone is good enough for me to enjoy this.

I actually like this better than BR540 because the sweetness is balanced with a musky, woodiness that makes it quite unisex.

I honestly don’t care much for the BR540 or Extrait because of how overly sweet they are, so this is a huge winner - especially for the price. Silage and projection are off the charts. I tend to go nose blind to BR540 after about 30 min, so I love the longevity on Untold.

Perfect for layering or using in self-made perfumes. I personally mix this with fig, rosewood, saffron, and Molecule 1 in 10ml and 30ml bottles and it’s lovely.

This is very close to the original. Maybe a bit more sweetness and a bit less that latex note. You'd really have to smell them side by side to tell the difference. Not bad for a 45 euro fragrance.

I might ruffle some feathers here but in my personal opinion this is NOT a good dupe of BR540.

Yes, this may share a similar scent profile and projects like crazy and lasts forever but it is nowhere close to being as refined. This can be harsh and in your face and lacks the beautiful airy nature that BR540 possesses.

I would describe BR540 both the EdP and Extrait as addictive, elegant, and sophisticated where as I would not put Untold into those categories. This scent even becomes annoying after some hours.

Like I mentioned above, Untold lacks that addictive nature of that of BR540. When I spray on BR540 (Extrait) I feel expensive, luxurious and majestic. With Untold, I do not. I also feel the same way about Club de Nuit Intense from this same house when it comes to Aventus. I can definitely tell the differences in quality and the scent itself.

However, not all dupes are bad. I’m not telling anyone just to go out and splurge on $300+ fragrances but in the end you really get what you pay for.

OK, the other day I sprayed a shirt that was left on a hanger on a doorknob. Walked past the shirt 5 times TODAY - and caught WHIFFS ! LOL. I was like "WTF?" . And within the whiffs- Untold did not have the "rubber condom supply closet" smell ! It seemed to roll back to the sweeter BR540 "perfume / fragrance" a bit more than at first. CONCLUSION: Spray your clothes the night before ? (For good luck- layer with Burberry Her or Cloud). Thank me later (like 10 months later) . THIS BOTTLE NEEDS to SIT for a few months before you start using it again . I think this fragrance should come with a 10 hour course : "You Are the Proud Owner of ARMAF Untold: Now What?" . LOL.

If you cannot afford or justify the cost of BR540. Untold is likely your best clone option by consensus. Untold smells about 98.9% similar to BR540 and was also cloned to have the similar disappearing/anosmia performance characteristic as well. While in reality the Untold is hard at work and leaves an excellent scent bubble and trail people will notice. Most individuals will likely yield 8++ hours of performance with Untold. I am getting 16+ hours on skin alone! 🥳😛💯

Untold is an extremely safe blind buy and worth every penny. 💯 Especially, if you can get a bottle for $50.00 or less. Just shop around for the best price you're willing to pay. The majority of people will not be able to detect that you're wearing Untold opposed to BR540. Therefore, you can wear Untold with confidence and not feel like a broke or cheap bum that cannot afford BR540! 🤣😆🙂😉😋😝

This is so close to BR540 extrait. I’m impressed! Seriously, no one is going to tell a difference between the two out in the wild. But I own BR540 extrait and don’t need a dupe, so I’m decluttering this. The bottle is on another level. In the right space, it could be a decor piece in its own right.

Smell like Invictus Platinum and Eros EDP with smell of clinic room in first. Later, It’s smoother than Invictus Platinum but not hold long enough workday like other designer fragrance. Cheap is cheap.

My bottle from the start of this year is identical to the Extrait. It's so similar like 98%, must be issues with batches as mine is perfect. Lasts for days on clothes and projects like crazy.

Untold smells like all the other clones of Baccarrat Rouge but overall is more refined and a lot stronger than the others, this stuff last for a very long time and projects like a beast, i could smell it on my arm after 14 hours. This is surely the best clone in terms of quality/performances but in terms of quality/price ratio, Maison Alhambra Baroque Rouge is still the winner. Stay away from Ana Abyed Rouge by the way.

I do not know what you people are talking about. I have a 11/2022 batch, and i do not get any rubber smell, it is close to BR540, its a nice scent and i love this, i opened my weardrobe where i had a t shit with Untold sprayed on it about 2 days ago and it smelled like i just sprayed it. Too bad i get anosmic to it after 30 minutes.

Sick and synthetic mess! Stung my nostrils and gave me an allergic reaction to boot. Does it smell like BR540? Sure. Are there better perfumes that can copy the scent profile with giving me an allergy and burning my nasal cavity? YES!! From Zara’s red temptation to Al Haramain’s Amber oud Ruby, nothing has caused such a nasty reaction. Buyer beware! I may have received a bad batch of this but it’s better to be safe than sorry!

I've smelled the original Baccarat many times and this is the closest (if not the best) clone on the market in my opinion. Worth every penny, sweet & sexy!

Sweet, warm, and sexy. It’s definitely an amber-driven fragrance; the other notes are just supporting acts (although the fir and cedar are very well done). It’s quite a sweet ‘toasted’ amber style. Really yummy and sexy, good for nighttime. The longevity and sillage are insane. Excellent value.

I have both the MFK BR 540’s, most of the dupes and this is the closest by far that I have smelled.
It’s closer to the extrait than the edp, minuscule differences apart from I actually find untold a touch spicier and it projects a lot more - and when you’re comparing a $600 fragrance to a $60 one it’s really a no brainer.
Highly recommend picking this one up, it’s incredible.

I have concluded that I am one of the unlucky people who are anosmic to this particular fragrance DNA. I originally bought Pure Addiction and thought the performance was terrible, so I bought Untold because the reviews suggested it was the better-performing BR540 clone. Well, "performance" is bad for Untold as well. But this is clearly just my perception. My housemate said my perfume smelt nice from 2 metres away, and my friend could definitely smell it in the car -- meanwhile, I smell nothing or very, very little.

I even tried layering with Ambroxan and Iso E Super, which didn't improve things for me. I let it sit for a month to "macerate", which didn't help. I have tried it on my skin, on my clothes, and in my hair. So the moral of this story is that you might not have a bad batch, the performance might not be terrible, and you might just be unlucky like me.

On the rare occasion, I can smell it, I like it. And it does last a long time because sometimes I detect it a little bit 6 hours after I apply it. I think it is airier and less medicinal than Pure Addiction. But it's hard work to wear it because I always wonder, "Can this person smell me? Is it overpowering? Has it worn off?".

At the end of the day, I wear fragrance because it makes me feel better about the day, and this doesn't. I don't want to just smell nice to others; I want to smell nice to myself. I will let the bottle sit for another few months, and if there is no improvement, I will sell it, or retire it to my "for layering only" shelf.

To me amber oud rouge is the closest dupe of baccarat. Instant crush is the same vibe but a wall of fragrance with added florals.

Armaf Untold has a dry sourness to my nose from the cedar and saffron notes. It's also heavier than the airy BR540, making me think it sits somewhere halfway between instant crush and BR540.

It's allright, I just don't think I'll wear this when I have al haramain's version.

I had gotten this, wanting to smell BR540, wondering what it smelled like. Too many good reviews on this and BR to purchase a sample, so I blind bought this little guy...

I was very pleasantly surprised actually by this. I work with a woman who wears what I've always said was a man's cologne, never said anything to her about it, nor asked her what she was wearing. I now know what BR540 smells like, because I know she doesn't know about ARMAF. but I always thought it smelled amazing, and one day I'd ask her what it was so I could get some. Let's just say, I don't have to ask, as I now have it. Lol.

This stuff, I've smelled her wear, year round, which is surprising, as initially you'd think this isn't a summer vibe, but I believe it's an all season type of deal. It puts just enough of the cedar and fir resin there to make you think of Christmas, but not so heavy that it's a colder fragrance to me atleast. The Amber in it, is also very intoxicating, it just smells like Christmas with a touch of masculinity if I may use that word loosely, but it's a Christmas you could have year round.

Hype around this is justified. My only thing, atleast for my nose, and I've smelled BR540 on a woman for about a year now at work, but I don't so much get the unisex thing here, it's a bit more male leaning in my eyes. But every nose is different!

10/10 will keep a bottle of this from now on.

I am not a fragrance expert, I don't get into brands, niche perfumeries, notes, etc. I just love nice perfumes, no matter the brand. I love the BR540 DNA ever since I smelled it on a paper tester in a local store. Given the price I find to be absolutely crazy (almost double where I live than MFK's official site) I come to discover the dupe houses.
I own Lattafa's dupe, Franck Olivier's dupe, a few local brands's clones and now this. I wanted Club de nuit untold ever since I saw its pretty bottle and after reading a literal ton of reviews, saying it's the best dupe on the market, smelling like dark cotton candy etc etc. I love the overly-sickly-sweet fragrances, so understandably I went mad about this one and I was 24/7 on Google looking for it, but it was always out of stock! Until last week.
At first I hated it.
I waited for the delivery of this perfume like a puppy that waits for its owner to come back home. And I was so disappointed at first! The initial spray hit me like a brick in the face, suffocated me. It smelled so nauseously manly I wanted to cry! The heavy mix of male's cologne in ridiculous concentration and alcohol, nothing else! And I sprayed ever so slightly on my wrist! I couldn't understand all those reviewers praising Untold as a "very sweet, tasty gourmand fragrance". I know that the first spray can be overwhelming, but even after an hour it kept smelling so suffocatingly manly, I wanted to grate my skin with a kitchen grater! The initial spray was on 8:30AM. After a what felt an eternity, I went noseblind to it, getting a whiff every now or then. Around 2PM a coworker of mine came to the office where I work and, given she's a fragrance enthusiast like me, I previously ranted about this perfume to her, she was excited to try it and was absolutely mesmerized by it and I just stared at her in disbelief. She then sprayed herself behind each ear on Friday and messaged me through the entire weekend telling me all her clothes smell like it, even the pillow! And I was like "darn it, I guess it's just me and my body chemistry", but it smelled so sweet and tasty on her from an arm-distance I thought it must've been just the first spray, so I applied a single spray on the back of my neck and it was again that suffocating manly scent that drove me insane! And I immediately decided I'll sell it, then I thought I'll layer it with something. I have Lattafa Khurafi which smells like the tastiest, sweetest vanilla I've ever smelled, so I decided I'll try with that. However, I forgot the perfume at work, so we come to this day, barely 3 days later.
I decided to give it time to sit for a month or so, as many people said it needs time to macerate, but today I layered it with Lattafa's and it's a total banger! CDN Untold is dominating Khurafi and on the drydown I don't smell Khurafi anymore, but CDN Untold and I finally smell that dark cotton candy, burnt sugar sweet scent that made me fall in love with the OG!
MACERATION IS REAL, people! Even after 3 days it already smells better!
It still smells a lot manly right after I spray it, so I'll layer it with Khurafi until it gets to the drydown.
Longevity-wise I get 6-8h on skin and days on clothes! It smells even after washing my clothes!
Sillage-wise it creates a nice scent bubble around you even after several hours.

The opening and the general vibe of this fragrance are extremely similar to BR540, a warm and sweet ambery burning sugar scent. On my skin, it develops the same, as it evolves, it becomes slightly more powdery and creamy. The dry down is not as synthetic as some people said, but it has a metallic bite from the amber and cedar wood, definitely not well-blended, refined and smoothly developed like BR540. It’s a decent clone for its affordable price but not the best one. Tbh, there are so many BR540's clones right now in the market, I just wish they would add something different and creative into this scent profile. Zara For Him Red Edition is a good example, they make it a bit more masculine, more enjoyable for young men. I only bought a small decant of this to test it out, because I do not think I would use much of it anyways.

I tested this fragrance at the perfume shop today and was left disappointed by it, I am familiar with Armaf's 'Club de Nuit' range as I have tried almost all of the fragrances from this range, some of them I like, while others were disappointing, and sadly this is 1 of them. I was initially excited to try this fragrance because the bottle is so beautiful and colourful, but I really don't like the combination of woody and spicy notes in women's fragrances and this is a very woody and spicy perfume with a hint of amber, and it smelled awful on my skin. For a very feminine looking bottle, the actual fragrance however smelled more masculine to me, it smelled more like a fragrance that would be more suited for men rather than women.

I recieved this today and used B540 in the past ... when I tell you how similar this is! I was surprised from the opening to dry down, the notes were incredibly similar and smells so sweet! this is definitely for those who loves sweet smells and wants a subtle perfume hints here and there during the day. i did notice the latex smells during dry down though, but it went away for me only after a couple hours.

batch made in 06/2023. this had so many mixed reviews, it’s either a perfect clone with amazing powerhouse longevity or a crappy one not lasting at all. I sprayed mine for the first time yesterday when i got it and thought “okay, i’m one of the unlucky ones, i smell absolutely nothing, it was worth a try.” but then a few minutes later it came back and just kept getting stronger! I did just 2 sprays on my hand and it lasted throughout the whole day at 10+ hours and i kept getting wafts of it the whole time (note that i have never ever had a fragrance last this long on just my hand!). I didn’t smell any alcohol on initial spray at all, just nothing, but then it all appeared lol. so i’m going to guess this lasts on clothes for like a week haha. I’m guessing it has something to do with bad batches or certain bottles for the fact that people hate on this, or just people’s olfactory fatigue not able to detect the scent (just like the og!). I’m super happy with this purchase, worth every dime and penny, which was like 38€.

I purchased 2 bottles from Chemist warehouse they are absolutely stunning. I have the BR540 extrait, comparing side by side. Untold outperformes BR540 big time, projectes like a beast, will not pay more for the original anymore. Thank you Armaf, now we need a clone for Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady thank you

Don't be fooled by all the hype. I blind bought this after all the great reviews on youtube. But my friends, this is not baccarat rouge 540, it is a perfume that has similar undertone and smell. Cannot be compared....
BR40 is warm, good, smooth, fills a room with warmth and sweetness. Untold smells like a "cheap copy" with a chemical scent.
Unfortunately.. BR40 has extremely good ingredients that cannot be cloned on a budget.

I tried this today at my local perfume place. I was disappointed. Scent wise it does smell very similar to BR540, but it sinked into my skin so fast, no projection or longevity even though everyone says the opposite. meh. I have zara red temptation and it lasts and projects more than this one lol

really strong opening, i kinda smell latex gloves upon spraying which reminds me of a dental clinic but becomes really good after that. lasts really long and projects well. heavy on saffron and amberwood it smells woody, amber, and aromatic. i received compliments the first time wearing this

Projection and longevity is crazy, it fills up a whole room, and had to wash it off 3 times for it do disappear. Haven't smelled BR540 so I don't know how it compares. The smell is pleasant after it dries down but the opening made me so sick I almost threw up.

Dupe for MFK Extrait!!!! (I smelled both edp, extrait) might be compared to the IC to. Super long lasting. Actually waiting for the liquid in the bottle to calm a bit as its super heavy on the ambergris now. Will update later. Batch 05/23

Yes, this does seem to be a dupe for BR540 but it’s not the closest. This doesn’t have the airy sugary sweetness that the OG has. It opens sharp and bitter with the BR540 scent. The medicinal note in the OG is prominent here.

Was hoping to find that alternative or even get in that range. milestone, sillage, intense man all are damn good but this 1, well the presentation is nice. This scent smells harsh and that dominates the air. How close to br540 does this get, 30 percent. Not a good alternative

I should have listened to Yana from The Scented.. it's too sharp and synthetic. It's so strong, I cannot imagine an occasion to wear it

This fragrance is quite sweet. If you typically don't like sweet fragrances, pass on this one.

Smells better from further away. I would not recommend smelling up close, you will more than likely go nose blind. Has a slight similarity to Instant Crush, which I have, but you can definitely tell the difference in the air. Do no spray in front of you, or close to your nose, or you will probably go nose blind. Spray behind the neck, or near the rear of your shoulder.

Performance wise, I placed 2 sprays on a shirt. The following day, I moved this shirt into my bedroom, and the scent was immediately detectable when I reentered the room 30 minutes later. Those who are disappointed with longevity have either gone nose blind, or need to spray on clothes because it doesn't last on your skin. Performance is very good, probably lasts 8-10 hours. At least 1 day on clothes.

Edit: When you first receive this bottle, spray 4-6 times and let it sit for 1-3 weeks. For at least the first week, it smelled very synthetic, like motor oil and burnt rubber. That smell subsides. It also performs better after letting it sit for those weeks.

Very good fragrance, but not closest to br540, this is the mix bethween BR540 and Instant crush. Nothing medicinal, no bad opening. Opening to drydown high quality. Not as strong as br540 or instant crush

I bought this because of the hype and because I've never smelled BR540 in my life (I realized later that Tobacolor is Dior's response to BR540). I don't like it at all, it's simply sweet rubber latex. Yuck.

Strangely enough, my non-fumehead friends go cuckoo for the stuff, and I've made enough from decanting to offset what I bought it for ($42).

Reviewing by the first time because I was deceived by comments. This perfume is a big NO for majority of people. It smells really weird (like rotten nuts). It's long lasting but a pain in the head and nausea causing. I asked many friends while wearing it and most of them disliked it and rated as more feminine.

I own the untold and my wife says it smell like weed in the room, I love the scent and projecting it stays longer

I don’t need to write a persuasive statement to try and persuade people to get this! It’s absolutely a BEAST of a fragrance. In my humble opinion it’s better than the original BR540. This thing goes on and on even when you think is gone it’s still there in the back seat saying, you think I’ve disappeared but I’m still by your side🤣 get it my fellow fragrance lovers and be happy that the days of paying $325 plus for the original is over! This takes time to perform on my skin.The first ten min I get nothing just skin scent.My nose starts to pick up at around 15 min mark and after that it went beast mode that i almost choke on it.Longevity on my skin is almost 12 hours.Projection is crazy.I gets compliments all day long till it gets annoying 🤣I love this so much that I telll myself I don’t need to get BR540 anymore.

At the moment this is selling for £60 and even more on eBay and Amazon! Way over-priced for a clone as it stands.
For that money you could buy an original designer fragrance (albeit a different one) or a couple bottles from Lattafa, Al Haramain or even from the same Club de Nuit range.

I dont own baccarat Rouge 540 or smelled it. I found this too feminine for me but i love it. Decent perfume for 50€. Performance wise it is ok. Im getting compliments on this one upon wearing at work today.

Btw, im a club de nuit collector since i got my CDIM and armaf never fails me even i blind buy most of their lines.

Just received this perfume , it is very nice and very close to BR540 DNA , with a strong projection don’t go over 3 sprays ,no alcohol in the opening ,
Don’t sniff it too close as it is strong in ambergris and you can go noise blind, overall very good perfume not easy to put your hand on it always out of stock

Super super sweet. But compliments magnet everywhere.

I get pretty noise blind to it. Barely smell it on my skin (weird).

Others smell it and say it has great projection, but if stuck in an elevator with it, it would be smoothering/unpleasant in the summer months.

This does not cut it as a BR540 dupe. Smells tacky and too synthetic. Better off going with Amber Oud Rouge (more like the extrait, which is superior anyway)

EDIT: I'm adding my update after living with this for a few months - and letting my bottle "sit" and gather balls , grow wings and take off.
First , The Bad: Very few compliments , if any at all . (With BR540 ; TONS !) With UNTOLD I'm still nose-blind after a few moments . I did a test on a friend: had HIM wear it and I could smell HIM more than ME . Take THAT for what it is . Lastly on The Bad; this is a clone of the EXTRAIT not the "perfume" . (Is that THAT bad ? NO. It's just that the "perfume" has MORE of that sweet airy "cotton candy" that makes you have a nose-gasm .) That said: UNTOLD is TOTALLY WORTH the price and eventually , I shall get compliments - and like I had said : I could smell it coming off of my friend - better than myself. Not sure why I am being tricked in this way but I DO LIKE IT a LOT and GRAB for it DAILY . If you want a good clone of BR540 - Haramain Amber Oud Rouge is it for about $60.00 (as I recall) . HOPE THIS HELPS !!!!!!!!

Just got a new batch day before. Saw the reviews everyone said its long lasting and strong sillage, so went with 3 sprays. Couldn't smell anything, so went ahead and put 5 more. Could smell a small bubble for an hour or so, but then it just becomes the worst possible skin scent where the only way to get a whiff is to snort my skin. I heard people saying you go nose blind so I put it on my girlfriend yesterday when we went out. Couldn't smell it on her much as well, but 6-7 hours later I randomly got ever so subtle whiffs 2-3 times when we got home.
Some dude on reddit said they macerated the perfume for couple of weeks as they experienced the same and now it's become amazing. I am not much of a believer in maceration, but this time I'm willing to give it a try. The Scent is fantastic, but the performance is a joke for 60 euros what I paid.
So if you are planning to hit the trigger, wait on it, until more people come out with their experience on the new batch.
At the current state this perfume isnt worth more than 20 euros.

After much analysis, I’m gonna be crazy and say this: Club de Nuit Untold feels like if Instant Crush by Mancera and Another 13 by Le Labo had a flamboyant sibling. It has that saffron-ambery sweetness we love from IC, yet that ambroxan accord is closer to the one from A13. I wish the price wasn’t so high, and that it was a bit easier to find than its other siblings. Nonetheless, it is beautiful. 9/10

This is rather a clone of Instant crush Than BR540. It has the same cakey vibe as IC.

I never smelled BR540, I ended up buying on hype, plus other success by Armaf, plus people liking BR540 so much and this being a really good dupe.

It’s so different than typical fragrances. It’s like candy wood in a good way, I usually don’t like too sweet but something about this just works. I bought in summer and enjoyed it but will likely make it my fall winter fragrance.

Pretty good for the price, l love Armaf fragrances, it is kinda sweet but clean, perfect for a girl that loves sweet perfumes but does not want to porject a lot, l can see this perfect for every season, except summer.

Scent is close to BR540 EDP. However, it has a "burned plastic" smell to it which made me dislike it. Super synthetic too. Performance is amazing. I can get 15 hours on my skin with strong projection. Do note that you can get noseblind easily. Price is affordable. I would recommend this to those who are on a budget and not those who are into fragrances. Overall: 8/10

Finally got my hands on "the hottest ticket in town". Is it worth it? YES. How close is it to the "real deal"? Not 100% in my book. The main difference is that the "real" has an airy sweet smooth and SEAMLESS transition from spray-to-dry-down. Untold has a bit of a chemically smell that I have detected in a LOT of Oud perfumes. This chemical (rubber / alcohol / Extrait clone smell -- NOT the EDP) puts a bump in our ride. I still think this is a good replacement for CASUAL lovers of "the real deal". Longevity seems very good plus ; even though my new test is to spray it on a FREIND that I will be spending a day with-- and see if it lasts a long time on THEM. I can NEVER smell my self after 15 minutes anyway . This is not as good as Haramain Amber Oud Rouge - BUT it seems to last longer than HAOR . And you get a bigger bottle . As with ALL ARMAFS : I instantly plucked off the tacky gold medallion and threw it in the garbage , then cleaned the glue residue off the bottle with Goo Gone. I may even throw the cap out. P.S. If you buy this blindly - first time around: PLEASE give a few sprays - and LET the bottle REST for a few days. Then begin your "trial run" once again . Once you use this up- it gets better.

First time trying this DNA and i get that some people would love this, but i dont get how its so incredibly popular instead.
I smelled this outside many times and always thought its on bold side of fragrances.

I mostly get burnt sugar smell and little sweetnes that gets stronger in the drydown.

Armaf hits the nail on the head again, great replacement for BR 540, and this bottle is absolutely gorgeous. With the array of BR540 clones, I would not overpay for this fragrance though. Try to Avoid the hype and fight the urge to quickly purchase I would try to aim for under $50.

Now this one is a strange one...

When I smell this from the bottle/atomizer without spraying it, it smells very similar to Ariana grande Cloud- it doesnt have coconut, but it smells a lot creamier than 540, whereas 540 has a more lighter burnt sugar smell.
After actually spraying it, If you smell this up close on skin/clothing, it smells straight up bad. I only smell latex and wood, zero sweetness. Whether I smell it on hour 1 or hour 6, its just the same rubber and wood. In comparison, 540 does have a slight latex smell up close , however it is also sweet and slightly medicinal as well, in a pleasant way.
Up in the air, Untold smells way better, somewhat closer to BR540. It's a little thicker/heavier, as it doesn't have the same airy sparkle that 540 has, but its still pretty good. It smells like it does from sniffing the atomizer without spraying it .

Weirdly enough, I asked one of my friends to smell Untold from the bottle/atomizer- she looked confused and said all she could smell was alcohol and nothing else. Shortly afterwards, I then sprayed it on myself and she said it smelled so good. She was surprised when I told her that it was the same one from earlier that smelled like only alcohol to her.

I have br540 EDP, not the extrait, and can say that Untold is maybe like 80% similar max. I haven't tried out the extrait, but by what people are saying, its probably closer than the EDP. I wouldnt pay more than ~$60 for this though. Mancera instant crush is more of a "inspired by" 540 scent than it is a clone, but I much rather prefer it to Untold for the price point. I will say Untolds performance is insane. 3 sprays will last you all day and the sillage fills up a room.

I ordered baccarat from Decantx and untold from Esty and quite frankly I can’t tell the difference. The first day I wore this I received two compliments from complete strangers and they went out their way to give me a compliment. One even asked if it was baccarat. This is a bit overpriced but I’m willing to pay $80 to makes this my signature scent. I also tried instant crunch which I didn’t like and ariana grande cloud which smells similar but not a dupe.

This is a clone of BR540 EDP and not Extrait. The opening does have a lot of alcohol, but BR540 EDP also opens up with a lot of alcohol. Overall, a very decent clone of EDP version

$80 for a Ermuf CDN.....I'll wait til they clone this and pick that up for an affordable price.

I love this. It's a stronger, simpler Spirito Fiorentino. Absolutely stunning. Super long lasting and totally unisex.

This is absolutely not a clone of Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP. Just goes to show how many people never smelled the real BR540 and are still voting. Untold is a clone of BR540 Extrait and has absolutely nothing to do with the EDP. Untold has that prominent Almond Note And is a dead ringer for BR540 extrait. That being said this is an excellent Dupe of the extrait. I own the edp, extrait and now Untold and the similarities are crazy. Maybe not 100% but damn close

Definitely a strong alcohol blast in the opening as you would expect with this DNA. Amazing quality for the price, as long as i have this juice i wont buy BR540. They are both compliment beasts but yet smell synthetic so if you don't like that aspect stay away but if you want something 90-95 %. identical for a fraction of the cost ... look no further. Super sweet and perfectly unisex leaning SLIGHTLY feminine to some but not on my skin. The extrait with the almond fixes that issue making it more masculine. Amber oud ruby is a great clone of the BR540 extrait. Armaf Untold : 8.5 / 10

A lovely, very strong BR540 with a huge dose of Iso E Super.

I smell the typical rubbers, burning sugar, pine resin but with a sharp/smooth wood element that I didn't remember in the original.

In these early batches the longevity and sillage are so powerful, the wearers scent receptors can tune it out. To combat this, I spray on my shoes and I'm able to smell it all day. It really shines on cold days when it smells like winter outside.

Armaf has done a really great job with their recent releases starting with Sillage (Silver Mountain Water) and Milestone (Millesime Imperial). Disclaimer: I own and enjoy my expensive Tom Ford, Frederic Malle, and MFK scents too but there is a market for clones. Or at least clones that are worth the money.

While I understand that people disagree with the concept of clone brands, I think it is great that scents similar to luxurious ones can be had and enjoyed by people of all incomes.

Untold, as others have stated before me, really hits about 98%-99% in terms of closeness to the Extrait version of BR540. I own BR 540 Extrait and will be wearing this more than my bottle because of the price and the closeness in scent.

Performance is a plus- I would start with one or two sprays, as it’s easy to over spray this one. You will most likely go nose blind so try and see if those around you can smell you 6-7 hours after spraying it on.

Overall, I think its the best clone of Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait in terms of quality and price (When you get up to Electimuss Trajan prices, just buy the og). Whether you love or hate Armaf, I suggest to give it a try if you can!

I'll start by saying that I´m not an expert, can´t detect notes most of the time, but I love, love perfumes so much!

This is a difficult one for me, I go nose blind to this DNA pretty quickly and that makes me angry since I really enjoy that characteristic burnt sugar/cotton candy smell that comes alive after the first alcoholic blast, but mostly... because I can´t tell if this is a beast as many people have mentioned before, but I do get whiffs every now and then. Once it dries down, to my nose is kind of powdery, sweet but not like burnt sugar/cotton candy, a little bit of woods and also creamy.
My mom asks me to spray it in my bedroom because she says it´s really strong and it feels up the room, but not many people have given me compliments on this one, but something that really took me off guard was when my boss actually told me that my perfume is pretty stong to the point of making him dizzy... That made my happy! :D

I think the price for this one is great, I'm thinking of getting a back up bottle before it gets reformulated, which I hope never happens.

The smell is very similar to those of BR540. Just add a hint of dry wood which makes Untold a bit on a masculine side.

I love this stuff, and I layer it with Haramain amber out Ruby, they work well together, you will go noseblind mode , so be careful, spray Untold first , and then the Haramain, wait a couple of minutes and watch out , it gets better and better, love it

As much as I wanted to love this and claim that it is every bit as good the original BR 540 EDP, Armaf Untold's lower quality is undeniable throughout its fragrance wearing experience. It comes off as abrasive at times and not as natural smelling. With that being said, it manages to recreate the smell of BR540 EDP, especially when smelled from afar and after lingering in the air.

Love at first smell! Never have smelled BR540 but always a fragrance I have wanted to smell. So was unaware of what this might smell like. I have smelled Ariana Grande Cloud and I like it. So I expected it to be very feminine but when I smelled it has similarities but this fragrance is on another level and for me more masculine but I can understand why it’s considered unisex. It is sweet in the air but what I absolutely love about the fragrance is the middle ambergris note! Totally in love with ambergris! And this one does it justice. You get blind nose to this but beware! It fills a room quick. My wife says it’s way too strong and I put 4 sprays but that was too much. The first day I tried it I went to soccer practice and the very first person that I came across wearing this fragrance went out of his way to ask what I was wearing! He said he really loved it! Perfect mix of saffron, ambergris and tree sap notes I do love. Very luxurious and amazing. Won’t be disappointed.

What can you say about ambergris? It smells like a whale queef, yet it is the most addictive note in this fragrance. I get strong ambergris over anything else. I like it because it's a little funky and it's kind of like how I wish my BO smelled. I've been wearing this stuff every day for a couple weeks, and I keep reaching for it.

381093 Very similar to br540 but more in masculine side. The hype is real .People should accept that armaf house can compete luxurious fragrance in the market.

Compared untold and BR540 side by side. I much prefer untold as it is a bit more rough around the edges adding a more masculine air to the fragrance. Longevity is insane, I can’t get this stuff out of my clothes.

I think this one is objectively better that BR540 for me because it is simply more masculine, just a bit, but its enough to make me want to wear it over the feminine origional.
Expect to be nose blind to it and do not spray more than 5 sprays because u will fill every room you enter, and it may get overwhelming.
Ive worn it 4 times now and its already my most complimented scent.
I've wasted alot of money on armaf and its limited editions just to be dissapointed,
But this one makes it all worth it.

This is my strongest compliment puller. Actual strangers in the street have asked me what my fragrance is.

It does this weird thing where one time you can't smell it on yourself and then another time you can smell it a lot as if it fills up the room. It smells very airy, sweet, and elegant.

Longevity is monstrous. I can still smell it on my dirty laundry one week later.

This is more versatile than what people make it out to be, just adjust the number of sprays. But in a closed space in the high heat (ex: a vehicle with poor AC) this will be very cloying, but with just 2 sprays this will work nicely in the sun even when it's hot out.

To my nose this smells like straight up Instant Crush (Mancera). All I can smell are the woody notes and I’m not getting BR450 at all. Not a dupe for me.

About 97% similar to BR540. Closest I’ve tried.

I literally just did a review on Baccarat Rouge 540 the other day. This arrived today in my fragrance mail and I immediately put it to the test. This is easily the closest dupe of BR 540 on the market from the alcohol on the open to the burnt sugar on the top note all the way to the dry down. If you like BR 540 but don’t wanna pay the BR 540 price this is exactly what you have been looking for.

I like this a lot it’s not 💯% BR540 more a reworked made masculine which I like.
Darn your nose can go blind to it really fast though but those around pick immediately on your sillage for a very long long time. Not bad at all if you can get a deal on it.

From the perspective of someone living in tropical climate, Indonesia, BR 540 has much smoother blend indeed especially in the mid and drydown. Both this and Zara Red Temptation have skank wood scent so much detectable they are annoying.

It’s not the closest thing to br540. Having said that it’s not a bad attempt to what it’s cloning but certainly not the higher price tag this thing is going for. If it was in the same price bracket like other club de nuit it would have been a great deal but sadly if one’s willing to pay that much then why not add a few more bucks and go for mancera instant crush which is far more superior quality wise

I was very hopeful about this fragrance as I am always in the lookout for some nice cost efficient dupes of iconic scents that I love. I have read many reviews and listened to many fragrance youtubers who I considered credible about this perfume. I also had some very positive experiences before with other Middle-Eastern cheaper brands like Swiss Arabian, Al Haramain or Ajmal.

Based on all these I was very close to ordering a full bottle of CDN Untold right away (I was debating between this, Al Haramain Amber Oud Ruby and Orientica Amber Rouge). So glad I dindt! I managed to put my hands on a 10 ml sample (bought from someone who decanted it for me) and I have to say I dont understand the comments about amazing closeness to the original BR540, the sweetness and especially not the great quality.

I agree with people who complain about the plasticky, rubbery or latexy smell, and at the same time disagree with the opinions about people not being able to fully get some notes because of lacking the ability or olfactory fatigue. I think the notes that we are looking for to get the BR540 experience are just simply not there in this fragrance… 😞

Even the $10 sample was a waste of money I feel like. Today I may have found a solution to tone down the unpleasant plastic vibe by mixing Untold 1:1 with my Ariana Grande Cloud. I hope it will work, at first sniff it seems like I can get a much smoother blend like this and the Untold could give Cloud a bit of a spice kick and boost its performance a little (Cloud is quite close to my skin normally).

Of course it is possible that the reviewers had a skin chemistry that Untold actually worked with, maybe more for men, but for me this is a fail. So dont get too excited Guys by all of the stellar recommendations, definitely try it first before buying.

Very similar to br540 but more in masculine side. The hype is real don't listen those other reviews. People should accept that armaf house can compete luxurious fragrance in the market. If you like baccarat and won't spend a lot of bucks then buy this one. Armaf trying to kill expensive fragrance now in the market

This is just alcohol in a bottle to my nose from first spray so my nose is not fatigued from the outset if that is what some may claim. Shoulda listened to the reviewers who stated such.

it's funny what some people say on here. Like it's a bad batch if it smells like alcohol when they first spray..... it's like someone returning a bottle of orange juice and saying it tastes like water. Then everybody at the store asking them if they shook the bottle first and that person saying, "I shouldn't have to Shake the bottle it should be ready as is"......... Eyes roll!!!!!! Also, people talking about fake bottles for low-budget brands, IF IT'S NOT A DESIGNER BRAND THERE WON'T BE KNOCKOFF. Just saying people just sound extremely ignorant! Haven't tried this Cologne yet cause it's sold out everywhere, but I don't recognize any of the bottles in the "smells like" category. Might be too sweet for me as the sweetest I go would be tres-nuit and Milestones by armaf. If anyone would that has smelled thoughs fragrances and this one and could tell me where they sit from 1 to 10 like say tres nuit and milestone are a 3 out of 10 on the sweet scale, where does this stand? Maceration is real people! cheaper brands skip this process to save money. Especially with Armafs Club de Nuit line of fragrances....

The Hype is real and i may be responsible lol. I was one of the hand full of reviewers who grabbed this as soon as it hit the shelves. so i can say for sure i have the first batch. In my review i said hurry and grab because it will soon be sold out everywhere. 3 days later it was sold out. The first batch is Beast Mode, a direct blend of BR540 and BR540 Extrait. The performance on skin is literal a day in a half. if you get it on clothes it will project for weeks. i put a shirt i sprayed this on in my closet just to test. Every morning when i entered the closet i will pick up the smell. For Armaf its a win win, they have come a long way. I don't know about the other batches and there maybe some fakes out there. but the batch i have is Amazing. my channel is Cologneking777 if you are interested in seeing the review. Batch 377166 is all good, I dont really know if it's similar to BR540 as I couldn't test it, only sniff the cap in a store but it's pretty nice, a bit overhyped. It only smells alcooholic when you don't press hard enough on the atomizer and you get a mist instead of vapour.

Why recommend perfumes for purchase that you yourself do not hear, but the people around you speak well of them?
I always buy perfume for my own pleasure, not for the crowd.
And why should I pay for the smell of alcohol with rubber?

Just received batch 386511 and I get the just-latex non-smell alcohol from this. Is this a bad batch? Or do I just wait for the scent to develop?

Pretty good clone of BR540, but not as good a clone as Franck Olivier Pure Addiction (which also costs less). Good performance, one of those DNAs that every collector should have in his vault.
