Im so sad about the way this perfume smells. Nothing like the notes. I agree with _danield. Smells VERY flowery powder grandma scent. not tropical at all.

_danield

Does not smell anything like the notes listed. It is not tropical or fresh or photorealistic. Its smells like an old woman’s powdery floral perfume. It’s synthetic smelling almost like hairspray.

nolan_

to me this is a photorealistic camellia garden? it's cute but smells of literal fresh flowers

koxayous

this is literally something between garnier fructis shampoo (the bright green one) and victoria secrets coconut lotions.

Latetothescene

I really really like it, a lot. It's a beautiful mixture of white and yellow flowers. It DEF has something tropical going on and i'm here for it. The drydown is mouth watering. It certainly has a tropical sunscreen vibe but stays on the classy spectrum of it.

For me, this is one of the better ones but it's still sooo soft in performance, skinscent much? I need a monster that i can spray sparingly at this pricepoint. Right?

If this were half the price I would buy it, no doubt. However, I do feel something very familiar in this scent profile which can be found (discounted) in the designer world. They didn't come out with something unique enough to validate this pricepoint..imo.

So, I agree with a lot of fellow fragrance lovers, this is not worth the money.
In fact, given the performance of most Kilian's i can't think of a single Kilian fragrance that is worth the heavy price tag but i do like a lot of them.
Anyway, for that price i'm moving on, reluctantly, but moving nevertheless.

belladonnaofsadness

This is the Killian fragrance I've liked the most which means it's time to call it and say I just don't like this house overall-nothing I've ever tried from them has ever worked on me. Even the notes on this one are weird since the mango should be much more prominent but all I get is some hints of it in the opening before it transforms into a mess of white florals (and I like white florals!). Try one of the other mango fragrances that are trendy right now.

Denisa Aiko

I smelled this on paper.
Yes, I love this scent.Lately I’ve been obsessed with clean, a little hint of tropical fruit, unisex fragrance. So when I first saw the notes I had a high hope on this.
It’s mysterious, unique and sexy but not too loud. I think on paper it’s a bit citrusy and I want it to be more sweet.
I don’t know, maybe it’s sweeter on my skin so I’m gonna buy a decant to see how it smells on me.
Is it worth the price? Ofc not. But who cares? Perfumes are overpriced anyways. If I like it, I’ll just buy.

astralmonad870

The opening of this smells like vomit but the drydown is pleasant. A light fruity mango when the coconut and rice fades but I’m not sure if a lot of Kilians are worth the price. Nirmala by Molinard will always be my go-to mango scent.
It’s much more full-bodied and luscious. If you want a perfume with similar notes to this but with no unpleasant accords, I recommend Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Tiger Lily which has mango and coconut.

Elindio

white flowers I get a lot of very clean jasmine, not animal, and hints of coconut, feminine perfume that is not worth the price

BarbieBright

@fragrantica Please add jasmine sambac! Per Kilian: Moonlight in Heaven sparkles with a citrus-forward opening, driven by a duo of lemon and grapefruit, spiced with pink pepper berry. Coconut milk and rice–white as the moon’s face–rounds out creamy mango and powdery jasmine sambac, while a tonka bean drydown envelops delicate vetiver.

Dumbplings

If you like this, then you'll like louis vuitton on the beach but that is better than this. This is sweeter and more floral, I think on the beach is more fresh and better quality

vanillabeanshampoo

I wouldn’t classify this as a gourmand. Yes, it’s a stunning mango-coconut combo, but it still smells more like fragrance rather than a dessert. It’s almost clean, like an expensive resort shower gel. Very unisex. I don’t get the negative comments about performance. It lasts all day on my skin and really does project.

Overall a very pretty, unique and safe summer scent.

yeghishedaviti

I absolutely love this cologne. When I was a child, my father received this cologne as a gift, and he used it to some extent. I re-discovered it in mid-2023, on a summer night sitting on the shelf of my kitchen, and I fell in love with it, and this one cologne got me into the hobby of perfumery and colognes. It has a great scent and I cannot forget it. it lasts long, and the citrus is sweet, the grapefruit is heavenly, and the mango is just right. I love this cologne, and even though the price point is severe, the sheer scent is worth it. It comes in 50ml in a regular bottle and a 250ml carafe. I have had the 50, used it all up, and am happily saving to buy it again. Online, it is sold for ~170$ by some sellers but is sold for ~295 by Killian. 5/5. My Signature scent.

Patr70

Boring and Dull. Kilian "Moonlight in Heaven" is just too citrusy and has too little of the mango and coconut. Smells like it's incomplete as if they ran out of money before the fragrance was finished. Kilian can be good.. but not this one. 3/10

Masinnn

I wear this occasionally and it gets compliments, definitely not wearable if you are into super masculine scents, as it is unisex leaning feminine. The opening is strong florals with citrus but the dry down is a very creamy coconut. I personally like it and find that it performs well. Not a safe blind buy, I probably would not have paid retail for this.

mavdak

After smelling in stores, I finally got a full bottle for a great deal.

Many may lead you to think that this fragrance is very feminine, but to me, it is perfectly unisex. It is light and airy but lasts almost all day on my skin with about 4-6 hours of projection, depending on how many sprays. This fragrance will not survive a midday workout but is sweet and clean enough to wear to almost any occasion. My girlfriend, who is not big into perfumery, loves this one on me despite usually hating sweet fragrances; she described it as smelling "high quality and expensive," for whatever that is worth. Extremely underrated frag.

Isabella Therese

Moonlight In Heaven, such a perfect name for this fragrance. The most prominent notes to me are grapefruit, mango and a creaminess that could be the coconut (which I usually hate) but it translates to white florals and maybe a bit of vanilla on my skin. This all sounds very heavy, thick and gourmand, but Moonlight In Heaven has such a beautiful airiness that makes the notes almost transparent. It's so, so wonderfully light, airy and summery. It makes me feel like I'm walking in a tropical garden in the moonlight, taking deep breaths of the crystal clear air of the night while still smelling all the flowers and fruits surrounding me. The longevity is decent on me, I get 6 hours before it's a skin scent and the projection is actually really good. 9.5/10.

kaanc

As with the most of the "tropical themed" fragrances this one brings up good memories from a time long past. It resembles the care free holidays and sipping creamy cocktails from your hotel bar under a straw umbrella. Sillage is not perfect but I think that gives this fragrance the balance it needs. The transition from citrus notes to rice and to vanilla is a daring thing to do but doing it without sharp changes in the smell? Now that's the magic of Kilian Henessy. It awakens the feeling of reliability and trust in self without a need of woody or aromatic notes. Overall definitely a signature scent for warmer weathers.

BarbieBright

Fragrantica, please add lemon & jasmine sambac. ❤️Here are the notes on the Kilian site: “Moonlight in Heaven sparkles with a citrus-forward opening, driven by a duo of lemon and grapefruit, spiced with pink pepper berry. Coconut milk and rice–white as the moon’s face–rounds out creamy mango and powdery jasmine sambac, while a tonka bean drydown envelops delicate vetiver.”

denofdebauchery

I recently purchased a full size bottle of this after smelling it in store four years ago and remembering it for so long. Personally, I like to purchase scents not based on how they smell so much, but as to the emotions they create and the memories I may associate them with. During my childhood
I lived in a very hot country and I remember my parents used to take me for long walks through the park at night when it was cool enough to leave the house. I used to pick jasmine and tuck it behind my ear or bring it home to press in books. It was often very hot but damp as at sunset the gardeners would water the local fauna and fauna. I’m always trying to find scents that bring me to happier times in memory or fantasy, and this is the memory I associate with Moonlight in Heaven. It makes me feel deeply emotional, as if I’m still standing on the damp grass at night, standing under a jasmine tree holding my mums hand, sweat trickling down my neck. The whole world turning gold in the disappearing sunset. The pale face of the moon beginning to creep over the palm trees

omar-addas

The rice note is the prominent note with coconut vanilla sandalwood and mango to my nose, i get some white floral, perfectly unisex, it is a nice perfume but lacking in performance with no projection and weak longevity unfortunately

AlexaScent

This is beautiful but sooo weak! You need to really overspray this to feel the scent. For this price point...pass.
Much better alternative is Tuscan emotion by Ermanno Scervino.

myadkov

One of my favourites by Kilian. It is enchanting, creamy and gorgeous.

morejmh

For some inexplicable reason, to me this smells like Snif’s “Vow Factor”. There’s a greenness that overshadows any hope I had of detecting milk, rice, or mango.

Joani_Cheddar

Dear God, please help me like this - surely a Kilian fragrance wouldn't let me down - especially one w rice, mango and coconut! MOONLIGHT didn't just let me down, it threw me down and then it threw its rice at me. I cant with this fragrance - it has a sharp floral core. I will continue to put on everyday... 28 days later - it is almost the apocalypse for this fragrance.

lmnsvgz

Coconut-rice dessert with mango. I love this but I barely smell it, it is extremely light. So milky and tropical though - it smells like an evening in Southeastern Asia.

Dina France

Try it before reading the notes or give it to someone and ask them to guess the notes. You will never get Mango, Coconut or Rice. It does not smell like any of these notes. The scent is very thin, but there is something appealing in it. To me it smells like a night in a tropical country: fresh breeze from the ocean, blooming trees, and humidity of a rainforest. At the same time it smells like a skin of a beautiful person (probably a woman, or a virgin guy).

DinaFrance (YouTube perfume reviews)

Dmiddy

The opening’s creaminess tricked me — I thought for sure this was a white floral until I read the notes. Very lovely opening but moves toward a more generic feminine scent after 20 minutes. Good but not great.

singlehandedbeauty

The initial blast is beautiful and everything Moonlight in Heaven promises in the description. Then sadly, after 5 minutes, it gets salty, waxy, and very pollen-like. Most Killian fragrances don't work with my chemistry, but I'm happy to report that this awful stage only lasted five minutes. The dry down kept reminding me of something and then I realized this smells very much like Narciso Neroli Ambree without the musk. I prefer NA so much more, but I do like the touch of vetiver in MLIH. Really nice fragrance, but overpriced for what you get like most Kilian fragrances.

henrietta_cocoa

This smells like hairspray to me and nothing else. I can't pick out any notes other than something "tropical." Maybe I should revisit it in the summer.

rainfortheend

Perfumey and sweet with a bit of spice. There are some florals in there too, but mostly an amalgam of sweet. It also kind of reminds me of White Diamonds for some reason. The dry down is unremarkable very subtle white floral.

jiaamin

I can see why this is unisex, the opening citrus notes are different from more feminine perfumes- this is more rich. That said, this is definitely a more feminine leaning perfume. I don't really smell the mango or coconut very much. Wouldn't think of this as a summer perfume imo, just because it is not very light. It does get better over time though, smells more creamy and soft and slighty sweet as time goes on.

Watchthethrone

Tested 4 kilian fragrances this one is a hit. summer/spring fragrance similar to mandarino di amalfi.

Kaleigha

I was absolutely sure that I would love this. Positive. But it was actually a big miss for me - thankfully, because that price tag is nothing to laugh at. I was expecting a rich, sweet mango and citrus blend, but on me I just got a synthetic bathroom spray vibe. It was not good for me - at all. Not quite a scrubber, but not far off.

fwanak

It was a perfume that made me feel that I should be more careful when choosing a unisex perfume.
People talk more about the male scent in the unisex side, but I felt like a complete feminine perfume and a plain fruit scent with no particular personality.
There was a slight difference from what was expected in the description and image of perfume, and I think I found out that the right answer is not to buy perfume on impulse because I bought it on sale.
Personally, I was disappointed.

Badbili

Did a little exploration of rice notes comparing Santal Basmati, Dirty Rice, and Moonlight in Heaven. I heard this was inspired by mango sticky rice. But to me this is really a citrus, fruity fragrance. I don’t really get any of the rice or coconut. This is definitely a daytime summer fragrance. Citrus heavy fragrances aren’t really my thing so this was not a hit for me.

deekachu

This smells like an anti-mosquito product that you can find in Thailand pharmacies. it is very citrusy for me. I would have preferred something more milky, mango sticky rice with coconut milk.

ShooF

It's not that I don't like this one but to me this leans heavily to a more female scent or to my preferences anyway. I don't really get the Top notes but certainly the mango, coconut & tonka bean. I know that there are no flowers listed but "flowery" is the only description that springs to mind, I'd buy this for my wife but I wouldn't wear it.

marietangerine

This is okay. I find the slightly bitter citrus/aromatic notes stronger than the tropical notes (zero coconut). The fruits read “perfumey” to me. I was hoping for a more lactonic mango/coconut dessert accord. The whole thing gives me “up scale dim sum restaurant” vibes. I get a jasmine tea note in there somewhere, which compliments the rice note and the green mango note… I also smell freshly/industrially laundered tablecloth (the washing powder thing everyone keeps mentioning) which was unexpected for me.

Not boring, but not that special either. Wildly overpriced imo. Longevity is decent.

Edit: this has grown on me quite a bit. It is a “clean tropical” - which is unusual. It is totally unisex. I find this to be an easy reach, inoffensive but not boring, and suitable year round. Still overpriced.

toosimilar

It's gorgeous! One of the best gourmands I've seen so far!
Projection is good, it creates sweet mango-honey aura around you!
I recommend it!

Elle's Bells

If you think Moonlight in Heaven will be in the same vein as Mango Skin, God of Fire or even Keep Glazed, then you might as well keep glazing.

Upon the initial spray you get a loud, fruity blast of unripe mango and any other tropical notes for that matter. Then it's gone within minutes and you're left with a strong white floral that has the tiniest trace of unripe mango. Ironically, it has a beautiful sillage.

sniffmonster

I don't smell any of the tropical flavors and I don't smell any rice either. I echo the commenter who said that it smells briefly fruity, and then dries down to a standard white floral. It's not unpleasant, but it's a very generic powdery "perfume" scent. Individual notes are hard to identify. I received this as a gift; I never would have purchased this for myself. The main upside to this scent is I think I could wear it year-round. It's quite featureless in that way.

Edited to add: my best friend said it smells like the Jamaican resorts she visits every summer. Do with that what you will

bunnymusk

I reviewed Moonlight in Heaven last year in late June when the weather was wildly hot and humid. At the time, MiH was a disappointment - stringently clean, alcoholic, abrasive, a prickly, soapy, powder scent. I filed it away as a miss that I’d never wear again. But today I was searching Fragrantica for a parfum with rice and lemon notes (two of my favorite real-life smells), and MiH popped up. I decided to retry it and I’m so glad I did - it’s beautiful! On a crisp 40 degree day, it smells like realistic lemon - sweet, mildly floral, uplifting citrus - and the nuances of the rice/coconut milk combination (that were totally lost in the summer heat) are now very noticeable - steamy, nutty, lactonic, creamy and soothing. It’s a wholly new experience in dryer, colder weather, from screechy to serene. Just goes to show that it really matters the time of year/weather in which you test fragrances - the wrong circumstances can make the whole composition go sideways.

billiedenise

This perfume is a bit of a shapeshifter on my skin. Sometimes I spray and smell one thing, another time something else. I do like the smell but something was off for me. Then I tried it on my husband's skin and I LOVED the smell on him. I think maybe it's a touch too masculine for me but I do love smelling this scent on his skin.

Bogscent

For many years I didn’t understand this perfume. Probably it was due to the fact, that I tested it mostly in cold weather. This year, in the summer, I tried it again, and it seemed to me quite pleasant and refreshing. The scent reminds me the smell of Paraguayan peaches. So I ended up with buying a bottle. Love it.

Chatulie

No. Today I tried after a month to see if I was wrong and unfortunately I was not. There is a cheap washing powder smell available in discount stores, which is not the smell of cleanliness, but the sour stench.

Saffron pink

The opening is so lovely. And it kinda ends there. Although the dry down is pleasant enough, it’s a little powdery and all the excitement of the opening is long gone. The worst part is the ridiculous zero longevity. 20mins it’s a skin scent. For the price ?….even I can’t justify buying this. So disappointing.
Glad I tested first.

allie-32098

I don't want to like this as much as I do. For one it's pricey, but I also find the brand image kind of offputting. It feels very "influencer." But I'm won over by what's inside the bottle. An abstract gourmand, based on something other than western patisserie, luminous and not too sweet. Tropical but not to the point that I feel like I'm playing dress-up (in my decidedly non-tropical location). Fresh from the grapefruit and pink pepper, drying down to a beautiful ripe mango paired with non-sunscreen subtle coconut and lightly floral jasmine rice, with some salty raspy vetiver in the base.

It smells clean. It's not trying to be cerebral or overly complex, nothing about it is challenging. Yet it's not too immature, as escapist perfumes often seem to me. I have a hard time finding perfumes in this register that I love, and this one hits the spot. I would love to find a non-tropical perfume that evokes a similar feel. As it is I'll probably cave and get a bottle when it's on sale, I've been rationing a few samples for years.

Lasting power is fine, about six hours. Respectable for a fresh fragrance like this. Projection is such that it would be appropriate to wear in the heat. I see a lot of reviewers docking it for lasting power and projection, but these things vary based on genre! You don't want a powerhouse when it's 85 degrees and humid.

Appropriate for all occasions other than work and ultra-formal settings. Chokedee is nuttier, more of a photorealistic coconut rice, and lacks the freshness of citrus, pink pepper, and mango. For me that makes it less appealing, but if you're mainly after a coconut rice perfume then give it a sample.

Chatulie

I am a collector of Kurkdjian and Kilian perfumes, most of them are perfect, I will buy them blind any time.
Now, this is the only perfume in my life that I have returned, even though I keep even the average- nothing extra perfumes.
It smells like totally boring, cheap, teenage boy shower gel from decades ago. I was ashamed when I used it in public, wishing I didn't meet anyone who leaned close to me. Thankfully no projections, skin smell after an hour. Not only do I not like it on myself, others don't either. I tried it every day at home for two weeks afterwards, but it felt increasingly ordinary. Many times the miracle comes only after 4-5 times, here unfortunately nothing came.
I don't want to harshly bash this unremarkable, trashy fragrance because it's my second favourite brand and sometimes (Roses on ice, Moonlight in heaven) the Kilian house can make mistakes.

EditaVrb

Very romantic, very sharp. This is the fragrance what an anime male anime character would wear. The male protagonist of an anime lovestory.

CosmicHorror

Opening is overwhelming so be catious. Definitely Sweet, Citrus I’m not sure I pick up mango. I think I smell rice, but it might just be the suggestion it’s there. I do get a creamy scent which is assume is the coconut. It is nice overall intoxicating not necessarily gourmand, I felt it was too much and I thought I didn’t like it but as I came back it grew on me more and more. Leans just a little more feminine but its not something a more masculine person cant wear.

zefragrancec

i love this so much this is the only fruity fragrance id actually wear without nauseating, the opening was kinda overwhelming for me so i rubbed it off on my sleeve but it dryer down and its still there and its so goooooddddd 100/10

Swiss-Misks

For me, its like a Versace Crystal Noir but with Mango in it

Ohtaycanyousee

Mango rice laundry detergent, I love it 💖

terrestrialbabe

This would be a perfect summer scent for anyone who likes cozy vanilla scents in the fall. I think the mango and rice notes just hit beautifully to be sweet and comforting at the same time.

Olivegelly

It's nice. I don't get much of the middle notes. I get a lot of grapefruit and lemon, with some soapy florals. At first it reminded me of rose, but that's not quite accurate. I don't get the mango sticky rice ; but I've never eaten that so maybe I am just missing the reference point. It's a nice clean safe summer scent for me.

outerwilds

I actually love the scent but it lasts an hour tops on my skin which I think is insane given the price point.

Tinabill

It’s early in the morning, your shower using a fruity shampoo and shower gel, then you apply a fleeting citrusy cologne to freshen up. Later, you’re sitting having rice pudding for breakfast with some fresh fruit in your sunlit kitchen. This is the actual image invoked by Moonlight in Heaven by Kilian; a quiet morning indoors, no Moonlight, and definitely not in Heaven.
The fruits feel more fresh, as in pears or maybe guava if you’ll go tropical, but definitely, I didn’t get mango or coconut.
It’s pleasant, slightly sweet and creamy, but I get no darkness and no Tonka. Nothing unique or intriguing.
Can someone please explain why this is niche? because I have found more interesting, fragrances in designer, and even celebrity scents. At this price point it’s just ridiculous. I even regret the amount I paid for a 3 ml decant. It blows my mind why someone would pay full price for a full bottle. Utter disappointment.

indigo

The notes listed are very confusing. Yes it opens with fruity notes, then after 20 minutes it settles to a bog standard white floral..& that’s it. I wouldn’t class this as aromatic, it is a fruity white floral…The power of suggestion never ceases to surprise me. Not my cup of tea but It did last for several hours on skin though. Not worth the cost imo, but as ever ymmv.

Aizen1987

It has a very unique electrical sour note going on. More like that of an unripe mango.
Otherwise it has the characteristic sweet smell of Kilian.
One of the best fragrance by Kilian in my opinion.

chiragh

Amazing Stuff..

Lasts well too..doesn’t project much though.

Koummya

In my quest for a clean, juicy mango unisex frag, I often hear this one's name. Imagine my surprise when I finally tried it and, off my skin, got a very generic, but pleasant feminine perfume. No mango, no tropicals, no rice pudding - this is just a soapy musky floral, and it doesn't stand out to me from that category. Smells like a more refined, smoother version of those £3 body sprays teens use.

It's not bad, just unremarkable. There are Zara offerings that far outpace this. 6/10?

denisa_iv

What I get in the beginning is a green, earthy note that completely disagrees with my skin. It then transitions to something fresh, clean, going into the fruity direction but definitely too detergent like or like some body wash. Eventually, it does settle into a creamy, lactonic, coconut-mango scent that is really pleasant. I would not have guessed mango if I did not read what the notes are, but once I knew, I do sense it. It's just not the type of scent that is a vivid rendition of fruits though, that's why some people perceive it as a floral, rather.
Doesn't last too long but it does project in the beginning. However, since I don't like the opening at all, that's not necessarily something good.

PeterD83

Very pleasant scent with a creamy soapy slightly fruity feel.

I absolutely agree with the rest of Fragrantica on the mango sticky rice scent. It's lovely but doesn't last and doesn't project either. Maybe it's different on other skin types but on mine it's gone in an hour or two.

It is perfectly nice but I find it forgettable and the high price point is insane for the minimal scent you get out of it.

5/10

Marie0189

This smells like a nice, fresh cologne to me. I don't get much sweetness from the tropical notes but this is a nice clean & musky scent. Though, I'm not sure I'd pay full price for it, it smells like multiple other unisex scents that I've smelled before.

bangingmrsnick

Smells like an old lady perfume. Had such hopes for this.

thecellophaneflower

I am shocked at how much I dislike this. I heard it described as a lush tropical forest with a creamy touch. In my opinion, there is nothing natural-smelling about this. It is a synthetic, mango/coconut headache -- without any of the redeeming qualities of tropical fruit. It's like a sugar-free candy. Maybe it's the soapiness mixed with the fruit that reminds me of splenda or aspartame.

HeatherMuffin

When I first smelled the atomizer on my bottle when it arrived, I thought you were all crazy for this sticky rice mango talk. It smelled like a teenage boys body wash … When I sprayed it on my skin I get all delicious mango sticky rice dessert without really smelling SWEET, but it’s a touch sweet. Perfectly sweet. So delicious and fresh at the same time. Exactly a sticky rice. I love it!
And then next week it smells like teen boy body wash again. No idea

ayarossx

Thank god I only ordered a sample and not full size. This smells more like interior perfume that you smell in cheap asian hotel or restaurant. Big no.

gigiok

I really wanted to like this, I am still on the search for a summer parfume I can wear alternative to my favourite parfume Mojave Ghost. The reviews were so good but unfortunately it's a no for me. I wore this today at 20 C degrees under the sun and it was too sweet and sticky. Some kind of a fresh note is missing, it's too fruity as well.

Zethre

Smells like a honeymoon in Thailand - tropical flowers and fruit and coconut rice cooking in the background. Fortunately I do not get any lemon.
Also kind of reminds me of 90s tropical bathpearls from Boots or the Body Shop.
A nice, different, take on a tropical perfume.

I don't understand this one. From the notes I should definitely love this but instead of creamy-rice-mango heaven I get some sort of asian stir fry mixed with sour mango sauce. It is savoury on me. It lasted a couple of minutes but even for such a short amount of time it is a no go. I should probably sample again though. Maybe it is my chemistry or the perfumes I smelled turned bad... Considering the price point I'm glad I don't like it to be honest.

gourmand_girlie

I was so excited to try this because of all the reviews about it being a creamy mango rice combo...

...but all I got was a strongly-herbal pink pepper, vetiver, and bergamot. Smells green, earthy, and sharp.

So sad none of the mango/creamy notes showed up for me. Definitely sample rather than blind-buy this one!

Lykopa

This smells like a mango lassi! Milky mango with an almost herbal undertone. Yummy rice and sweet tonka pair well to make a sexy fruity drink of a scent!

Shaina87

I like this. But it's not my favorite mango fragrance. That would be Xerjoff Cruz Del Sur 2. But this is nice. It's more of an aromatic mango and coconut rice scent. It has a soapy/shampoo quality to it that I think is really nice. I only wear this during the summer when the weather is hot and humid. It's fresh, airy and sweet. Not cloying though. It's not as tropical/fruity as Cruz Del Sur 2... this is more clean and soapy with the tropical/fruity facets lightly coming through.

undersprayer

This perfume is not what I was expecting it to be, but I say that in a very good way. I was expecting a very tropical, powerful blend of mango and some citrus, but I instead smelled a beautifully soapy and soft fragrance with the slightest hint of fruitiness to it.

This evokes a very clean, put-together woman working in the wealthiest parts of NYC. I can easily picture Olivia Pope from Scandal wearing this. I get 0 mango, absolutely nothing citrusy or sharp like bergamot, lemon, or pink pepper, but instead, a smooth lingering of grapefruit, and the smell of the skin of someone who just finished soaking in a soapy bath.

I don’t think the lasting power is what people find deterring, but the fact that it’s so light. This scent is definitely for someone who prefers a smaller scent bubble, someone who likes to be smelled when up close and personal. The scent bubble travels about as far as someone sitting next to you in the passengers seat of a car, and that probably isn’t for everyone.

I found it lasting around 9 hours with no problem being able to smell it on myself, but I guarantee most others around me couldn’t smell it unless they were close by my side. If you love to smell clean and don’t want to overwhelm a space with your scent while also being smellable, this is perfect for you. It’s become a signature bedtime scent for me.

For the price, I would deliberate over the listed qualities above and how they attune to your perfume-style before buying, because the price is HEFTY if those qualities aren’t ones that align with you.

This is…nice. Nothing more, nothing less. Smells like a nice shampoo. Fresh & light. Not as sweet or tropical as I expected. The grapefruit, lemon and mango are the notes that stick out the most to me. I would not recomend anyone to buy this as it has TERRIBLE longevity & sillage. I can only smell it on my skin if I press my nose directly onto the spot where I sprayed it & it lasts an hour and a half MAX.

lmnsvgz

This is quite light. The scent is beautiful though - rice pudding with slices of mango and coconut on top. It is extremely likeable.

GwenH

Well, this one was a fun mango skin-kissed ride.
Shame the ride lasted an hour and then POOF! nothing remained but a slight fruity sweet note on my skin...

If you are looking for a tropical mango forward fragrance and you only know this one, here are some of my personal recommendations that reign supreme (in my opinion, of course!)

Cruz del Sur II by Xerjoff - a creamy, rich mango smoothie
Mango Skin by Vilhelm Parfumerie - a pulpy, ripe mango juice
Hauts Bijoux by House Of Sillage - a flirty, loud mango fruit cocktail

Lemony and fresh opening, the fruits are not super-sweet, they’re subtle. The mango projects mostly without being sweet, the citrusy notes are here to balance and add freshness.

A few minutes later I get the rice note mostly, enveloping all the notes and bringing dimension.
Some subtle creaminess is noticeable at the same time, definitely coming from the coconut, but nothing sweet nor lactonic.

The pepper is slightly noticeable, adding the needed spiciness to the fruits and harmony with the base notes.

Fresh, sexy, fruity and modern, but lacks of sillage and longevity. Have to spray a lot. Overpriced, reminds me of Creed.

I really love this scent. It’s so pleasant and inoffensive. There is something about it that reminds me of new clothes. I don’t get any fruit just florals. It’s wonderful but it doesn’t last at all. You have to keep reapplying throughout the day. It’s perfect for spring. All in all I’m very happy.

mirimermaid

a very intriguing scent, the name is perfect. The most dominating notes of the ones listed are the pepper, coconut and rice. It's definitely not a fruity, rich tropical scent in the way we usually associate notes like mango. It's very feminine, but quite cold in the opening. I would not say this is a unisex scent. The cold, strange quality is not arrogant like in, say Insolence by Guerlain, it's more of a reserved impression. If you are into astrology, this reeks of Aquarius! And pleasantly so. It's detached at first, but balmy and grounded with a wistful edge.

HenrietteM

First wear.
It is a cool early spring day in Norway. First impression; citrus with a veil of rice milk. Perfectly unisex. Decent longevity moderat sillage. A little spritz to hair and clothing as well will make it last even longer.
A couple of hours in the sour freshness of the lemon is most prominent to me.
I do think MiH will benefit from heat/warmer weather. If I put my nose close to my skin and let my breath warm it up, the most beautiful tropical notes emerge. Can't wait for warmer weather to let this shine.
~Although it's good in cooler temps also. Citrusy fresh and slightly shampoo-y. ~
Maybe giving me some Chanel Chance Eau Tendre vibes.

JamesGamez

This has slowly grown on me over time. I won’t say what it smells like because everyone already gave good descriptions, and I wouldn’t be adding anything new.
The only downside of this fragrance is it doesn’t seem to last long.
It does project though for the little bit of amount it lasts.

I was told I smell like an old lady wearing this, so im going to say this leans feminine 😂.

cdgodard

Beautiful in the opening, then it goes very white floral, like a lily. Nice fragrance, too feminine on me

MatchaCat

This is a milky rice perfume with a hint of mango for sweetness and then it dries down to a subtle soapy, slightly floral scent. It's beautiful but too weak for the price. Doesn't even last that long. Needs to be stronger. I sampled this at Bloomingdales.

Smell: 10 out of 10

Feminine

For reference, I'm female.

Honestly due to the blue bottle I was reluctant to try this. I associate them with aquatics and I don't usually enjoy aquatics. I was so wrong!! This is a perfect summer scent for me. Fresh, but at the same time nice and sweet mango. I don't get much coconut. Very pleasant and I can smell it almost the whole day. This one of my favorite Kilians. Had to have a full bottle.

Cherry_Darling

I got all excited about the mango and coconut. It is a bit like a coconut rice with mango (thai dessert) which is real nice. But there are basic vibes to it as well which I'm not super down with. A commerce jasmine note. It's subtle but it's there, in fact the whole perfume is subtle. What would amp this baby up is a big fresh green pandan leaf, maybe more juju in the mango (it's not really intense) to turn it into the real asian dessert experience.

sexonlegs

It smells like a rich, married, stable and sophisticated woman. And soap

I like it

thefrenchie

Love it but need something stronger for the price Killian, thanks

akilahwalcott

Sampled it in the store today because I was looking for a summer fragrance. It has a beautiful opening and the dry down is nice but on me would turn to a skin scent. Very nice but not beast mode in silage. More intimate

mwtx

I get the coconut and the mango and together they remind me of those white flowers with the nectar stamen or whatever it’s called that you can put in your mouth and it’s sweet. Sort of takes me back to my childhood.

That being said this is not what I’d go for first when trying womens or mens selections from the house. This is the type of scent you get down the line if you have some of the houses better offerings already and some money to blow. Not sure I agree with the price.

Leans feminine if you ask me but a guy can pull it off.

Performance isn’t all there. Sample first for sure.

elight_l

Two key notes apparent on me: jasmine and moss. The discovery process is akin to the story line from Pride and prejudice: start distant and proud - a smell of rain on a spring day, then everything quietly melts away into a lemonade.

subtlyyours

Does anyone else feel like they’ve just walked into a japanese restaurant right after the initial spritz??? i get straight up ginger for the first few minutes, by no means is it unpleasant, but very surprised that ginger is not in the notes. I suppose it’s the grapefruit and pink pepper medley giving that spicy citrus “ginger” vibe

taurusenergy

Jasmine forward with creamy rice, subtle coconut, and a background of warm, powdery greenness. Maybe a HINT of mango adding a subtle fruity quality, but i really don't get a distinct citrus or mango note. Maybe that's just my skin chemistry.

It's classy and beautiful but wouldn't be my first choice for the money. It's honestly really similar to Good Girl Gone Bad, just shifted into a different key. I couldn't see owning both.

Also I don't find this to be an overtly sweet fragrance, despite the description on the Fragrantica page. I'd describe it as fresh, creamy and subtle. Def worth a sample before buying.

Veelovesparfumes

This is my favorite from Kilian.I don't know why people are
mentioning gourmand, or expect gourmand? It is a fresh, clean, and cool smell, and it does smell like a night in heaven under a moonlight. Beautiful.

Scissorslizardspock

I was so excited to try this based on the notes, thinking it would be the perfect tropical gourmand. I’ve been wearing it all day today and am surprised how floral this leans.

Opening is a burst of green mango and citrus. Then it morphs quickly to a rather perfumey generic floral. (Kills me to say that!) The dry down comes about two hours in, and I’m getting non-descript, but very pretty, tropical florals. No mango or rice or anything leaning gourmand.

My bottle is a recent purchase from Sephora, so perhaps older versions were different. I will try again in warmer weather, but for now I’ll put it aside for when I want a pretty non-offensive floral. I’m jealous of those of you who get all sorts of foodie notes here!

subtlyyours

This has so much potential if only it wasn’t so weak. I purchased a sample from a reputable seller on Etsy and i’m so disappointed. The scent profile is everything i want and more and the faint scent that i can smell is so pleasant however it’s SO FAINT even after multiple applications i was struggling to get a whiff. Boo

Vegas Pauli

The sweetness of tropical fruits get cut in half by the vetiver, which is quite brisk and dry so there is a nice contrast. There is a nice balance but the overall effect is light and mild. It's semi sweet creamy and expensive smelling and more feminine leaning. Overall nice for a summer day but nothing I would reach for often. I find this beautiful but nothing to write home about

wdymthough

Smells like the average men's aquatic scent

NiqueK

Insanely light and weak and has zero projection
Croisiere version is much better IMO

DelianaCP

Please hear me out! I knew this scent was familiar once I tested it for a few days. This perfume smells like the “From Wilds” brand that sells or used to be sold in Target. The perfume is called “Infinite Tropics”. It’s crazy how similar this smells to Moonlight in Heaven. Either way, this perfume is a masterpiece.

markvel

LOVE IT !

It's really smooth and creamy.
What I mostly get is mango, bergamot and jasmine but it's really beautifully blended.
I wish that I get more rice note but also at the same time I'm not actually quite sure how rice would smell... Like is it creamy milky like rice milk or like steam of cooking rice which I don't think that's the case since that smell is not that appalling.
Sillage and longevity are not that great but since i couldn't find anything similar to this I decided to purchase this perfume anyway...
Someone mention it that it smells dated and like old lady but what I get is quite opposite... For me it very playful, young, summer and bright smell.

dear,prudence

White florals, white florals, and nothing but white florals on me. I'm confused.

AK2

Let me start by saying that Kilian is my absolute favorite house and I own most of their fragrances and I love every single one of them. However this one just doesn’t cut it in relation to the price. Besides the fact that it only lasted about two hours on my skin I find it so generic and shampoo like. I don’t find it to be particularly dated as some have mentioned below but it also doesn’t have the appeal of a very modern day (synthetic) fragrance. Although i can appreciate it’s tropical and natural facets I still wouldn’t recommend it as I find the scent to be very dull and short lived.

SofieSecret

The lemon and pink pepper is pungent and the only thing you can smell. I don’t smell the coconut, rice or the mango. It isn’t very “tropical”… just acidic and spicy.

It kinda smells like a grandmas perfume. A very EXPENSIVE grandmas perfume.

This perfume reminds me whenever a woman walk by outside and you can’t smell the fresh air anymore, choking on heavy perfume. It isn’t because I over-sprayed, it’s just the pungent smell.

2/10

Aaron's Aroma

Pleasant ? Yes! But nothing unique... smells like something you’d smell in a woman’s hair salon

AnaMaria97

Agree with below reviews that this is a shampoo scent - but shampoo on day 5 of not washing your hair. The peppery/vintage notes are really strong and clash with the tropical vibe. Not for me

Ilikewhatilike

I had a decant of this to test and have retested a couple times from bottles in the store. Sometimes I had poor performance on my skin, but when I spray enough, I get a nice scent bubble that stays with me for a decent amount of time. I think it's important to approach this fragrance with the right expectations. I was looking for a loud tropical beach type scent to wear out in the summer months when I want to be a bit more bombastic. But I found on my skin this is works when relaxing by the pool (either alone or socialising with a drink with some friends). I dont experience it being too sweet or too tropical, but I get a sense of both those elements. I feel the jasmine and lily-of-the-valley poking around, but it's not overly feminine to me (guy here).

The texture of the scent bubble of this fragrance feels feels a bit different. May be the rice note, or the overall blend, but I fine it quite starchy (not in any unpleasant way, just different). I feel there are mango and coconut notes, but they are subtle to me (or well blended), so it feels tropical beachy, but not a punch in the face. I also wont claim to have the best nose for coconut of mango as for these notes I've only spent a decent amount of time with Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, which I experienced sharing the same vibe (tropical, summery, subtle, nice scent bubbly).

Kilian's are priced at what they are priced. I dont like to comment on price because I dont know what anyone's budget is. To me this is nice and I'd enjoy and use it if I had a full bottle.

Dramaloladiva

This is honesty making me sad because I smell absolutely NO mango, NO coconut, NO rice…I feel quite cheated 😭
The scent I get on my skin is reminiscent of cheap hairspray or hair products…it’s powdery and quite unpleasant…just blah.
It’s, of course, what my nose gets. Not everyone thinks the same and if you get to smell the tropical fruits in this, I say good for you, lucky you!!
As for me, I am very glad I got a sample, tried it and know that I will not purchase this mess of a perfume…

clintjr82

Bad blend and muddy. it doesn't know what it wants to be.

emjh

I've tried this over a couple of weeks. I knew it reminded me of something, but it's only come to my mind when I popped it on tonight. It's the 'Cream Silk' hair conditioner my mum used in the 80s. It reminds me of how her hair smelled when I hugged her as a child.

I don't get any mango here, but citrus, pink pepper, the rice note, and a soapy/shampoo vibe, maybe the addition of some old school hair mousse on an 80s perm. It's very nice and nostalgic and maybe I would love to smell it on my mum, but it's not a me scent.

LeNomParumes

I prefer not to go too negative in my reviews, as I’m a firm believer that the art of perfumery is an under appreciated and difficult trade. People are incredibly fussy about smells.

That said, this perfume reminds me of a famous Dolly Parton quote: “It costs a lot of money to look this cheap.”

Sorry.

The Wolf

Got a sample and tested it blind over the last couple of nights. This stumped me. I could tell there's a fruit accord, and heavy use of jasmine with something else in there that I couldn't indentify. Something creamy but not in a lactonic way. Now that I see rice, it makes sense.

I've never smelled rice in in perfumery, and I don't recall smelling or owning anything with mango except Mango Skin by Vilhelm. This smells good and the rice/horchata is an interesting feature. However, the fruit (mango), liberal use of jasmine, and makeup type of smell, screams feminine to me. Would be nice on a woman but I could never wear this myself.

Scent 6.5
Performance 6/10

I don’t know if Moonlight in Heaven, but I’m for sure in heaven with this glorious Kilian perfume. Warm, boozy, playful. So much fun!

Radius

Can't believe they're charging this much for a shampoo scent lol

betsyglez8

Interesting . I get peppery notes in the first spray then the mango kicks in and then the rest of the fruits ,
I starts to turn sweeter , but then the bitter blend makes it lean to a leathery vibe ,
At the end I feel it’s like soapy - fruity , but with some peppery to it .

Sticks to the scent I guess once it dries down it’s hard to explain the sweetness , if it’s clean if it’s leather if it’s bitter . But it’s interesting it has a determined style . And I like it .

This time there will be no summary headlines like I always write on my review because it's already spoken out loud in the name of the fragrance.

I really appreciate what Kilian brand does with their naming of each creations that is easy to understand and relate to the scent it represents.

Moonlight in Heaven is a genius creation by @calicebecker because she manage to make a twist to well-known genre of fresh fragrance.

From the notes dominated by grapefruit, lemon, mango, coconut milk and pink pepper it is supposed to be a daytime perfume. Marvelously blended she managed to bring the composition into contrast and more nighttime appropriate.

The coconut milk with mango combo is refreshing and creamy yet not uplifting or tropical whatsoever. Instead it goes toward the opposite side. It's very moody and dreamy in a sense like the hypnotic effects when we gaze upon the moon. As we know moonlight is very bright yet very cool because it only reflects and beams the light from the sun.

There is aldehyde to lift the fragrance and bring lightness. Overall it's fresh yet very comforting and serene at the same time. It's has bit of citrus aquatic and also gourmand aspects but the wearing experience it far from that.

A blissful experience only can be understood by wearing it in person. I prefer wearing this at night close to bedtime to set the mood and ease my mindset into calm and mesmerizing "moonlight in heaven🌚🌫️"

smells like mango rice? edible, sweet, tropical grounded in a savory drydown.

LuluBear

I'm O.B.S.E.S.S.E.D. When I first sprayed this I was a bit taken aback because it was a bit bitter? Like the skin of a grapefruit or like how mango skin has a certain bitterness to it. Once the alcohol evaporated and it settled on my skin, it was so gorgeous. Initially it's a lot fresher then the notes would suggest, but after about 30 minutes I start to smell the mango and the rice. I think this is really wearable for summer even though I find the dry-down to be on the sweeter side. There's just something about it (maybe the vetiver?) that stops it from becoming a full-on gourmand fragrance.

jassca99

Definitely great for warm/hot weather. I think it’s better for everyday wear. Very fresh. It doesn’t come across as perfect for a tropical vacation or as a gourmand, regardless of the notes listed. I don’t get the vibes. I immediately and mostly get grapefruit, pink pepper and uncooked rice throughout the perfume’s life. Unriped mango and vetiver supporting them. I also get a lot of soapy jasmine even though it’s not listed. Funny enough, it’s listed in the Croisiere flanker. The dry down is bright, earthy and a little powdery. It’s nice but a travel is enough for me. There’s just not enough of a fruity mango accord in here and too much jasmine. I don’t need a bottle.

I also just realized I probably get a lot of jasmine because maybe jasmine rice was used for the rice accord. The most aromatic compared to basmati and other rices. I however don’t get too much of a starchy stickiness in this, like I do when cooking jasmine rice. Again my expectations led me and I assumed this to be primarily sweet mango but instead other notes are just as involved, if not more.

AlaskanAngel

No citrus, no fruit, no rice, just coconut that gets sweeter as it settles. 4 hours in it smells like sticky coconut syrup. I'd be delighted to smell anything other than coconut candy. I also dislike this loud blue bottle, I thought it would be a darker, midnight blue. White glass would fit more with the scent story. I hate primary colors. Decluttered.

strangelight

I knew this probably wouldn't be my thing, as I dislike typical sweet-fruity scents, but after reading some reviews about how this wasn't very sweet, and because I liked the idea of the notes listed I decided to give it a try.
Nope, this has everything I dislike about fruity scents, I found it VERY sweet.
The drydown after a few hours was nice though - that's the only point I started to smell the rice, when the sweetness died down.

Zethre

Definitely get the rice and coconut with fruit. In fact the first spray was like walking into a really good Thai restaurant, creamy aromatic flavours. However, after a few minutes it settled down and was less food flavour and more scent. Very unusual. I think I could like this, but it would take some getting used to as it's so different from anything else I've worn. It might make a good substitute for the more typical suncream coconut scents for summer if you're looking for something a bit different. Slightly sweet but not cloying orr sugary.

wenshere

Despite the notes, this one actually doesn't smell that tropical to me at all. I get a lot of rice in the opening, and then clean vetiver with a hint of sweetness in the dry-down. I didn't really get the mango or grapefruit. Coconut neither. However there is something kind of comforting about this scent. I think there is something that makes this smell like a high-end body lotion to me, though I'm not sure how to pinpoint what makes it so. I say high-end because it doesn't smell tacky, obnoxious or artificial by any means. Overall I must say that this perfume smells different than what I expected and hoped for, but it's not bad at all, I actually like it. I'm not sure if it's a love though. Sillage is also weak. But I do think it's worth trying out, maybe you'll get other notes than I do!

bunnymusk

Opens with prickly citrus. Kilian lists the notes as lemon and grapefruit, which might seem to suggest a certain sweetness, but to my nose the citrus here is bitter and pithy and quite stringent. In short time the mango arrives and it’s gone a bit rotten - fruity but no longer juicy sweet, more alcoholic. And the whole experience is blanketed in powdered rice. So very powdery. Chokes the throat a bit. When reduced to a skin scent, the tonka bean alone remains, giving a subtle toasted vibe. This stage is nice, quite cozy.

Overall, I would describe this fragrance as soapy. Fancy hotel bathroom bar soap. Intensely clean, luxurious, but the aldehydes are too prominent for MiH to be truly wearable.

smellyal8ter

This was ok. It feels like there's something missing from it though, like it lacks depth.

Child Chemist

The opening is a stunning, sweet, white-floral. As it begins to dry down, you get this creamy, robust, mango-rice-milk combo. So far, so good. Then 2 hours later, 70% of it is gone and it begins to turn on my skin. The mango becomes overly ripe, and then, IT SOURS. 3-4 hours in, it smells like sour sweat. Can't purchase a full bottle knowing the performance and behavior of this fragrance; it's a shame, because the opening is a beautiful ah-ha moment.

I've since learned that if the perfume sits too long in the atomizer, the lactonic note will spoil. Polite, refined, tasteful, composed, unique; wearing Moonlight feels like wearing white gloves.

Burns

Opens up with the most enchanting jasmine made creamy with coconut and rice, with mango keeping things bright. Reminds me of an evening in tropical climate with blooming night jasmine. On my skin, I find it gets increasingly floral as it dries down, sometimes veering a bit too far toward soapy. When this happens, I try to layer with something creamy or sweet to rebalance it. The soapy harshness of that dry-down sometimes irritates me but not enough to stop loving and wearing this scent.

JennyNoBull

I tried this today at the Kilian counter after not smelling it for about a decade? Two good spritzes on the back on my hand and I thought I had my new summer freshie. I don't get the mango sticky rice so much, but I did really enjoy the pleasant mix and the fact that I was not smacked in the face with coconut or mango. These notes were subtle and well blended. I went to another department to see how the dry down worked on me and the scent was completely gone. This was 20 minutes later! I'm a Kilian girl and I'm completely obsessed with how these fragrances are blended and created. Since they sold to Estee Lauder I've noticed a marked decline in the quality and this is such a shame. 10 years ago every scent I sampled lasted all day and there was a wonderful village and projection. This fragrance is embarrassingly weak and absolutely not worth even half the price tag. Such a shame, because it has (or had) potential to be a fave. 5/10. If it lasted like I remember, it would have been a 9/10

ntlzhng

This is an interesting perfume. Definitely not as gourmand-y as I expected– for those who say that it is a dead ringer for Thai mango sticky rice, where? Yet, I wouldn't say I am disappointed with this perfume. It is very wearable and a sweet yet sophisticated scent for the spring and summer. I first smell creamy jasmine mixed together with an indistinguishable blend of a bright, fruit that is closer to citrus than mango (I have yet to smell a perfume with mango notes that actually smells like mango), and a soft, clean, musky dry down. No screechy pina colada vibe to this, and it doesn't immediately strike you as a stereotypical tropical scent. I think the notes are well blended, though mango, coconut, and rice are a little bit of a stretch.

twiztidladii

I don’t particularly like this one but I’m grateful to have tried a sample. Someone I bought decants from included it. I admittedly don’t know much about this house so I was excited to receive the gift. My #1 dislike in fragrances is Coconut so I think that’s where it’s throwing me off.

noseblind0929

Asian mango rice pudding + Smooth jasmine.

Jasmine sometimes makes my stomach turn, but this one is absolutely delightful. It doesn't stay long on the skin so I reserve its use for high heat. Alternatively, pair this Kilian fragrance with a fragrance oil or mango scented body cream to extend the fragrance's longevity.

LushDiviner

I got this as a sample in the discovery set and at first test, didn’t care for it. After a couple weeks I revisited this scent after a bath before bed. Woke up to something vastly different than the first try. Moonlight in Heaven on my skin became something warm, sweet but not cavity-inducing, citrusy refreshing and the best part was the creamy satisfying goodness of rice. This scent elicits olfactory childhood memories of my parents’ mango lassi (a yogurt drink made with mango but without rose water in this case), or one of my favorite deserts with made with coconut milk, rice and spices (similar to American rice pudding but not as bland). MIH stays close to my body so it’s in the category of “skin scent” in my case. This fragrance gives me happiness and comfort. Looking forward to a full bottle.

ckorp8

Got this because there’s a hype in mango sticky rice at the moment. And this truly smells like that Thai dessert. Lovely if you like it. And if you like this perfume and haven’t had the chance to try the dessert, you’re missing out!
Sweet gourmand mango rice scent. Can’t imagine why the perfume wasn’t simply name that. Lol.

okamikiera

Quite unfair of me to sip a tropical smoothie right before trying this, but… It was rather jarring to go from real fruit to this synthetic mess. It’s more like a green coconut and underripe mango mixed with lily-of-the-valley soap. It’s very strident and bitter, more cologne or shampoo territory. Not bad, but I think the high price point and listed notes are rather misleading.

Jeff Shin

Tropical, yes but in a sense of dry and powdery. I do get whiffs mango quite strongly but mixed wth a powdery rice and coconut dryness. Has moderate longevity but poor sillage. I do understand why some say it smells too masculine and quite fougre; opens green and woody. Would not recommend blind buying this.

katbankss

i'm just so annoyed, i looked at these comments over and over debating whether to blind buy, SO GLAD i got a sample of this first. Not for me at ALL! if you're on the fence like i was... TRUST ME.... this is a NO. no longevity, no silage, just smelled like a flowery powder on my skin... and that price tag... absolutely NOT. all around just a no.

Agnes81

This is summery and fruity - but not very sweet - on my skin. Like a fresh pressed fruit cocktail. Mango, rice and vetiver dominates to my nose. And a gentle bitterness from the grapefruit lingers in the background. I don’t get a lot of coconut except maybe that it ads to the creaminess.
I like it but I don’t love it. I will use up my travel spray on days where I want something sunny, fresh and tropical. But it is too expensive for a FB.

mandyads

Does anyone else wish this didn’t have the pink pepper?

Initially, I’m hit with mango and a spice that is reminiscent of a cross between white pepper and ginger. There something tickling my nose and I’m not sure what it could be - my guess is that the red pepper here gives more pepper than fruity.

I was also surprised to find this a fresh and spicy fragrance! I expected much more decadence. It definitely dried down creamier in the mid, but the opening and top notes are incredible clean smelling. Not quite “shampoo” vibes, but approaching the territory.

It’s between a like and okay for me, because I’m not into pepper and freshness, but it’s so unique and I think it will grow on me. I have a 7.5ml travel spray, but I doubt I’ll ever purchase the full bottle.

Sapere_Aude

ahhhhh its so fucking good. this one and intoxicated i think best represent this older gentlemen's brand, they smell so expensive and fun and interesting. longevity is pretty weak but wow!

At first I thought this smelled like Mango soap in an airport bathroom but on further inspection it proved to be much more. The sunny qualities of vetiver, lemon, and grapefruit add levity to the sweet powdery nuances of the rice, Tonka, and coconut. These six notes seem to be opposites and you can smell the pull between powdery saccharinity and fresh citrus, but what makes this fragrance stunning and show stopping MANGO. Sexy, elegant and fresh

Ruby Galore

The name is weird.
Maybe the softness and purity of the smell of rice is paradise, and grapefruit and mango-moon :)
The perfume is fresh, but not sharp, it is soft, it could be 'freshness of night and moonlight'. ;)

Ruby Galore

Clean and fresh perfume. Mild fruty citrus on skin after twoo hours., but its not sweet.
I don’t know if it’s simple or just well-blended.
Smell of rice (purity) plus mango and grapefruit.

dajkm

Smell like air freshener on my skin, nice scent but it's a pass due to to resemblance of cleaning products to me.

turidoddlokken

A more appropriate name would be “Sunlight in heaven”. Smells like summer and sunshine in a bottle.

Farangismua

Very refreshing I smell lots of mango and citruses, but I dont see myself reaching out

Seuni

Oh this is amazing!, But

It opens up fresh and citrus but very quickly shows what is really has to offer. There's a lot of rice (as in plant, not boiled) and (not listed as a note, but trust me) cotton flower in here. This has an amazing floral, wheat-y, fresh laundry vibe. All this is very quickly underlined by a fresh and zesty instead of sweet and cloying mango. I don't get a lot of that coconut. An amazing, fresh, delicious, zesty, energizing summer daytime unisex scent.

Projects and lasts moderately. I wish it was stronger, and, well... Cheaper. This is hugely overpriced (as Kilian does) for what it offers. This is Creed territory.

However. This has a noticable amount of cotton flower in here - to the point that 50% od this fragrance is exactly like cotton flower toilet air freshener. If I didn't have that connection in my mind I'd love it, but hate the price. Now I kind of hate the price, but when I smell it I can't get past that feeling.

ag333

at first this smells like a mens aftershave but it quickly settles into a nice, clean fresh scent. It’s nicely blended I can’t quite distinguish the notes. I do smell the grainy rice which is so odd to me I’ve never smelled rice in a frag but it’s in here. this would be great for a hot summer day or for when you just want to smell clean. It reminds me of something, not quite another fragrance but something I’ve smelled before. I think it’s unique for a fragrance but this also smells familiar. I’m not sure if it’s worth the price tag for me but I do see myself using up my sample. It’s a beautiful crisp, clean skin scent but it’s just not for me or what I’m looking for currently.

opalmelt

Never smelled anything quite like this one. I adore the composition but the longevity is nonexistent. Even if the sillage were good (which it’s not) it disappears before anyone can smell it. Interestingly, I normally hate vetiver and I don’t get any of it here. Instead, it smells like a ball of mango sticky rice floated into a lagoon on a banana leaf. The coconut is there but it’s more creamy than tropical. Serene, watery, only fainty fruity. I don’t mind that it doesn’t work on me as it feels like someone else’s memory. Indeed it is, as I believe the scent was inspired by Kilian’s honeymoon.

heresmy2scents

My first thought when I tried this was "wow I think this was made for me". I think I will make it my signature scent for the summer! On the initial spray, I get a blast of lovely, bright citrus with a little bit of spice accompanying it. The dry down is a bit deeper but the citrus still peeks through. It's truly just a gorgeous scent. I'm in love with it. I've yet to try a perfume from Kilian that I dislike!

mangooo

First impressions!

If you're looking for a delicious tropical dessert scent, this isn't it. If you're looking for a tropical vibe scent, then this might be a good option. The coconut and mango in here aren't dessert like and if I didn't know the notes I wouldn't have thought either of these were in here, but these add some slight sweetness and the citrus notes add some lightness that does make me think of chilling on a sandy tropical beach. The opening smells earthy & peppery but after a few minutes it starts to sweeten up. This feels unisex to me though maybe a tad feminine due to light sweetness. There is a note in here though that leans masculine though.

Overall I actually quite like this one even though I'm disappointed that the notes listed don't really translate into the actual scent! I'll definitely keep testing this out. So far it's a like, but with the Kilian price tag, it's not a "love" enough to spend that much on this.

lovelytuberose

Reminds me of the smell of hair grease my mom used to plait my hair with in the 90s. Because of that i love it, nice memory.

gweyslabao

This is way expensive but I am still saving up for it because it reminds me of Boracay. Jonah’s is popular fruit shake bar there. We would walk by the beach…. Sand between our toes…. Under the coconut trees…. Just to buy their mango shake. I would pay to put all that memory in a bottle.

gourmandnotes

A little over a year ago, I purchased a full bottle Moonlight in Heaven from Sephora only to find that it did not smell anything resembling the first MiH sample I tried on. It was strong on the aromatics, sporty, very masculine-leaning. There was no florals, no milky coconut rice or mango - unfeminine! I was seriously confused; did someone not pour in the correct ratios? Was there some natural ingredient in MiH that went off and took over the delicate ones? Did they changed formulas over the 2 year span? What happened?? The bottle, disappointed as I was at the time, had to be returned.

But! Just recently, I purchased the latest Kilian discovery set with the red lacquer travel spray that comes with 8 other scents. The Moonlight in Heaven in this travel spray is way more closer to the original sample I've tried albeit it's a bit floral than I remembered, but it's nowhere near the nasty MiH I experienced from my full bottle purchase in early 2020. Granted, the travel spray may have been freshly made/bottled, so it could require some time to "macerate" for the mango notes to develop fully, but I'm happy that I get to relive MiH resembling to its former glory again.

KaliDurga

Really struggling with this one, while simultaneously scratching my head in confusion at the notes that are listed. Grapefruit - no. Pepper - no. Lemon - no. Mango - no. The opening is really fuzzy, then it turns into a powdery scent. The final dry down is a mild detergent scent. Big no for me.

NDStars

First blast of sweet warm fruity coconut, rather light on the skin though I went heavy on the trigger. Turns musky woody and stronger coconut as it warms on my skin, extremely reminiscent of Dior J'Adore… a 90s power suit-y scent with cloying fruit tones. Feels rather out of date actually but I guess would make for a good tropical vacation scent. At least it doesn't give off sunblock vibes. They charge HOW MUCH for this?? For that amount, I'd expect something a lot more unique and alluring than what it is. Unisex but leans feminine and best for hot weather; even in the summer I wouldn't worry about overspraying since there is basically zero sillage for this one.

Fragaddict123

A sweet fragrance that is enjoyable
Fruits and tropical vibes
Though the fruits are more dominant in this fragrance
It’s not actually realistic fruits more like candy fruits
But it’s definitely beautiful and a joy to wear
same as the rest of by kilian the prices are a bit high but it’s a lot better than others from the brand

Bebothecat

Very fresh and dense at the same time. I'm not sensing the mango or coconut. I am getting lots and lots of bright citrus and jasmine, maybe the coconut is in the background rounding it all out. I can't help but be reminded of fresh clean wet laundry being hung up to dry in the summer breeze. Fresh clean wet cool sheets being hung up outside and the warm sun.

acidrain1234

To my nose, it smells like those Avon perfumes. It's a pass for me. I like the other Killian perfumes. This one is just bad combos.

AlexandraYoshi

Definitely starts more masculine with an unoffensive sharp, crisp cleanliness; but quickly dries down to a more rounded, sweet tropical feminine scent.

For some reason, it initially reminded me of the MoroccanOil hair product scent. (Moonlight in Heaven is the older, more sophisticated/complex, "got-their-stuff-together" sibling to the Moroccan Oil hair product fragrance.) Just a very smooth, "round" fragrance -- fresh and clean meets a subtle tropical sweetness.

And even though I think it leans slightly more feminine, I definitely find this to be unisex; the "cleanliness-fresh-crisp" aspect makes it quite wearable for anyone. Just a lovely, airy scent that makes me happy when I wear and smell it!

Mizi

I love it. It works with my skin. Scent for summer I’d say, transports me to Cancun Mexico evening cocktails in a 5*hotel :) Smells expensive but not luxurious, sexy but comfy. It’s lovely, warm (musky), quite intense, pepper comes through a lot, like others said sticky rice-mango dessert for sure. Lasts few good hours, dry down reminds me of Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet I used for a while in around year 2003. Will definitely become a regular in my perfume collection.

momoelena

It smells absolutely stunning! The mango and coconut is the first thing I smell. Unfortunately, it doesnt last longer than 30 minutes. It you want this scent with lasting power, try the DUA version "Heaven's Moonlight"

adecerce

This perfume reminds me of mango sticky rice

Kai_11

Sweet-ish, creamy citrus. Mango and coconut are such a beautiful combination, but it’s reserved, not loud or overly sweet. Really easy to wear in warm weather, uplifting. Longevity isn’t the greatest (on my skin anyway)

heatherrose

this is a gorgeous, bright, and uplifting citrus that is perfect for a hot summer or spring day

Trendkill97

Gorgeous transportive fragrance, beautiful uplifting grapefruit-pink pepper-citrus touch on top, slowly bringing out mildly sweet mango just very slight tinge of ripe soft fruitiness, coconuty smooth, subtle, inviting, tropical scent, the rice grain note becomes prominent too as the scent evolves and stays as it dries down to a clean vetiver mildly sweet skin scent. Perfect for a relaxing getaway by the coast during the evening time, just when you see the sun setting and the moon slowly announcing itself at dusk. If only this had better performance (beyond 4-5 hours) this could really be a masterpiece.

Overall 8.5/10

Miyamisky

I'm so sad because this one is so beautiful and smells like heaven for sure but it lasts all of 20 mins on my skin. I can't pay for that weak of a performance. Oh well I'll try to forget we ever met :(

Nutmeg & Almond

My husband is wearing Moonlight in heaven today and I really enjoy it. We both feel it leans feminine but a confident man could pull this off. If you like it, wear it.

The reviewers below me have done such a good job I’m not sure I have much to add, except to say that I’m picking up a lot of jasmine in Moonlight in Heaven. I noticed it isn’t listed in the notes above but Killian does mention it in their description. Jasmine is one of my top 10 favorite notes so I’m not complaining.

trabuquera

I shouldn't like it, but I do.

Scent of a very high-maintenance trophy lady on a beach holiday somewhere really expensive ... not my world, not my bag, not my thing AT ALL ... and yet it's just gorgeous to be near and suprisingly much more mellow and less screechy than you might expect.

Look, I don't even LIKE mango (to eat). Oversweet coconut notes in perfume often sicken me. (Kilian's retail prices certainly make my stomach lurch.) Tonka usually cloys on my nose and vetiver often scares it.I tend to dislike very conventionally feminine scents. I wanted to smell BIG RICE in this as I love the note and couldn't even detect it anywhere.

And guess what? None of that matters. At all. This is a truly classy, creamy, dreamy, upmarket scent, absolutely impeccably controlled so that nothing ever begins to yell or wear out your patience or get too rich for comfort. It's sort of beachy but not blingy or vulgar or excessive or synthetic suntan-lotiony. The mango is not overripe - though it's definitely sweet and not green, and not really turpentinic or spicy either - just at the first moment of being ready to eat, and amazingly kept discreet enough not to just run amok screaming MANGO MANIA and splattering puree everywhere - which is what mango fragrances all too often do for me. This one works the same magic trick on me as House of Sillage's amazing Hauts Bijoux - of making me love a fruit I wasn't even sure I could wear in comfort. Lives mostly quite close to the skin (where it's mellower and spicier) but also does trail out beautiful citrus and coconut wafts further out around you during the first hour or so. I am no gourmand lover but the best word for it can only be: delicious.

BUT. As with the bill at your imaginary luxury resort there's a frightening sting in the tail - it lasts a LOT less time than you might think your money might buy ... only a few hours on me (2-4 tops) and that's just not a level of luxury lifestyle I can sustain. Definitely worth trying out if this dazzling-white-bikini-on-a-speedboat-pool-party picture appeals to you and you can afford it. I was glad to take it out for a spin but won't pine after it - this simply isn't my life. The trip was definitely fun though!

Nraveles

@Stwmylos well technically all fragrances are unisex no matter what they smell like, it’s just marketing. This to me is definitely a more masculine frag tbh. The vetiver and dense base make it way more masculine than feminine to my nose

Nooshin (Atghia)

It’s a delicious dessert. Such a great fruity and tropical dish in summer holidays.
.
To me there are two different routes to evoke gourmand structure in this case which complete each other very well. One of them is inspired from a Thai sweets which is made with mango, coconut milk and rice and the other, according to my previous experiences in some other fragrances, is the tonka bean and vetiver combo in base, existing here as well. All in all, it’s too sweet for my taste, but the performance is really great.

gemma_ni

Yes, it is summer in a bottle, because it smells like the insect repellent my family used to kill mosquitos when I was little.

Nay.

Stwmylos

It annoys me when brands (usually niche) promote fragrances as unisex, when they actually are clearly on the one side of things.
This is the case here, Moonlight in Heaven is a tropical, fruity, sweet and most of all feminine fragrance. As such, it is..averagely nice, however I find it too girly for a man to pull off.

Also, I am pretty sure I have smelled something similar many times before.

6.5/10

AryanasPerfumes

Ohh I could smell this forever! So light, citrusy, like a fresh breeze. It smells like ice water with a tiny bit of coconut and mango, delicious!Such a soft warm weather smell

inbnk WP

Moonlight in Heaven is freshy fruity with a little bit of floral vibe for my nose. This one is gourmand that you can put it in summer time. Nice coconut mixed with tonka grapefruit and mango play around in background. Longevity is not great but still above average 6-7 hours and can perform better in higher. Recommend for who want some nice sweetly gourmand that can wear in daytime or hot weather. For me this is my signature scent.

Scent : 5/5
Longevity 3.75/5
Projection : 3.5/5

PHUKET

Beautiful, Fresh, Unique, Easy-To-Wear, Summer Fragrance.

In the world of (but does NOT smell like) Creed's Virgin Island Water.

Leans feminine to my nose.

Thailand anyone?

hsiangchi.huang

Interesting and just the perfect vacation scent!

Looking at the notes, I thought it's gonna smell like Thai mango sticky rice, but it's surprised me. This travels you to a bougie resort on the phi phi islands; you're in your private overwater bungalow nursing on fresh coconut water and fancy fruit platter. Not your average mango sticky rice at a night market! It opens up with a slash of refreshing grapefruit/mango, and as it dries down, you get more of the vetiver.

It's easy-to-wear, approachable, relaxing and exotic.

callmevil

Warning: most of the reviews below are judging it on Moonlight’s cover scent. This sleeper wakes up after 6hrs so, give it 8hrs and then judge it..

As other reviews below shared, Moonlight starts off okay, soft and almost skin scent, never going beyond nice.. this scent stays linear for about 6hrs on my skin.

Then the afterburners kicks in with an impossible dry down. the scent profile changes completely to one of the best scent ever and its actually projecting now with decent sillage! lol how kilian, how??

Its good that its designed this way, no one will know what I’m wearing and I dont have to carry decants for this! Lol

Irisian

Creamy, sweet, coconut milk-ish vibe...layered with another type of sweetness from ripened mango with a tiny bit of citrus undertone. The earthy & nutty nuances from rice blanketed with white floral note (an apparent hint of jasmine was indeed there) is also prominent throughout the wearing.

Alluring. Addictive. Absolutely unique for a gourmand scent.
Last more than 10 hours on my skin.
Projects well for the first 3-4 hours or so.

This creation was clearly inspired by Mango & Sticky Rice...
...one of the most well-renowned Thai dessert.

I have never talked to the spokesperson of the brand
so I am not sure if this is pun-intended...

...but I will let you guys judge.

Mango & Sticky Rice in Thai is called 'Khao-Niao-Mamuang' (which is a literal translation where Khao Niao means sticky rice and Mamuang means mango) and the sticky rice appeared in this dessert is cooked with coconut milk instead of water. in Thai we call this type of rice/sticky rice 'Khao-Niao-Moon' or 'Moon Sticky Rice' or in short 'Moon Rice'. Moon here is actually an adjective form of a verb, meaning 'cooked with coconut milk, mostly referring to rice cooking process'.

Bangkok, in Thai language, is called 'Krung-Thep-Mahanakorn'...literally translated into The Great Metropolis of Gods. Which, contextually, also simply means Heaven or Paradise...
(because that is where all the Gods are).

I am suspecting the name of this fragrance is a wordplay intended to hint the audience the origin of the scent; This thing is 'Moon Rice (and Mango) in (or from) Bangkok'

1. Moon Rice >>> Moonlight
2. Bangkok >>> Heaven
3. Combining 1 & 2 >>> Moon Rice in (or from) Bangkok = Moonlight in Heaven

Kilian Hennessy himself visited Thailand in the beginning of 2016,
for the official opening of By Kilian stores.

The scent was also launched in 2016.

You do the math...

Kellergirl

This is awful. Smells like a cheap Avon men's cologne.

AnnaElli

Fresh summer perfume with a tropical vibe, unisex, leaning bit more towards masculine. Creamy coconut, fresh citruses, all mixed with a sweet fruity note, I supposed that is the mango, which at first sniff to me, not knowing the notes reminded a bit of a pineapple and I kind of had a feeling like a hint of a boozy note was there as well. I quite like it, but I agree with other reviewers, that for the price tag, I expected something more unique, more captivating, but it is still a very pleasant scent nonetheless.

SA5001

This smells great but leans masculine so it's not for me. I don't see this being very different to your average cologne that costs a fraction of the price. I get no coconut and the fruit is not distinguishable for me.

emeraldwaters

this really is a nice sticky mango-coconut rice fragrance. it’s fresh. very interesting & smells expensive.

edit: it does stay quite masculine on my skin in a soapy way, but when u sniff it you can still smell the notes.. it’s very interesting. for the price not sure if it’s fbw but i really do like it especially for men.

deakrek

The initial blast is beautiful but it quickly dries down into a men's shaving foam scent. I don't understand the hype.

_marcuscortes

The opening reminded me of queso/nacho cheese for some reason but the dry down i could appreciate. It got tropical with the mango and coconut and would be a grest summer scent, its not versatile enough to he fullbottle worthy in my opinion.

Fleurie20

Since some mentioned this smell like that famous Thai dessert mango sticky rice w coconut, my all-time favourite, my nose was all prepared to be hit by that yumminess when I sprayed it. Unfortunately on my skin, that concoction was nowhere to be perceived - Moonlight in Heaven is a nice, creamy, fruity, generic scent that also has a slight coziness to it on my skin. If I get a waft of this from a man, I would think "He smells nice" and quickly forget about it.

I would have to respectfully disagree with those who say this perfume is ideal for the hottest tropical months. As someone who is originally from a tropical country myself, with the humidity level hovering around 95-100% and temperatures being between 37 Celsius to more than 40 Celsius (98.6 F to more than 104 F) during the hottest months, I find Moonlight in Heaven can only be used at night, in a well air-conditioned restaurant, unless you want to smell overwhelming to others.

More male-leaning than female, I personally would not categorize this as unisex. Longevity and projection are moderate. Another nice-but-nothing-special perfume from Kilian.

Petula009

The initial blast is a quite sharp pink pepper on me wich suprisingly makes Moonlight in Heaven more unisex than I thought. Another note that I do not realy enjoy is mango - is definitely less synthethic than in Mango Manga from Montale, but in some whifs, it could be quite platique-smelling. Other than that I am enjoying the coconut and rice toghether in a creamy base. It is not a must have, but it is a pleasant smell.
Vibes: midnight at beach in the tropical island, suprisingly could be masculine, smooth
Form: 2 ml sample

A.Bandini

All those notes make up for a boring, sweet and nondescript white and yellow flowers accord that i am not fond of at all.

Charlize2014

I was very curious about this so I sampled..., I love the opening and for the first hr I feel like wrapped in smth so cosy and creamy, however after few hrs I still smell it a bit, not as much as I would expect for the price, but I am underwhelmed really, nothing ground breaking, smelled this before, not worth the fbw

grumpypariah

Yeah...no, not for me. Picked it as part of a discovery kit, was so excited because I was hoping it would be one of my top summer frags. They had me at the coconut.

Sprayed it in the air and smelled....oh, nice! Put it on a strip and smelled....yes yes yes. My usual 3 sprays on my arm for a test drive....WTF just happened!?

Big thing to remember, was a huge fan and really digging it until I got it on my skin....my skin, not yours, mine, so mileage will absolutely vary.

The opening, on my arm, made me think of an older feminine scent. Once it dried down, all I was picking up was the mango. Too feminine leaning for my taste. I was hoping this would be like TF Eau De Soliel Blanc, which I love, as it opens very floral but quickly dries down to a nice coconut. This stays fruity and sweet.

It is a great scent, and I imagine a female in her late 20s wearing this, transitioning to something still sweet and playful, but more sophisticated and complex.

I’d love this if the coconut note was more prominent, and also would be mind blowing with some of that Killiam signature rum note, like in Intoxicated.

LittleMsCharming

Mango Sticky Rice! A delicious Thai dessert :-)

Vickalicious

I LOVED this one on paper, however on skin this was extremely underwhelming. On me this starts out very sharp, pulling a lot of vetiver and citrus...giving it a slightly soapy vibe. In the mid I still get quite a bit of vetiver, some mango, and a synthetic grapefruit. The grapefruit in this reminded me a ton of the grapefruit note in ELDO's Remarkable People. The far dry down was the best part where I got mango, tonka, and rice. Sadly, I never got any coconut.

The performance on me was very disappointing. I had to reapply after about 3.5 hours, and within 30-45 minutes this becomes nearly a skin scent on me. Overall this is a pass, although I may try the clone from Alexandria Fragrances at some point.

mirenaf

Slightly sweet, very tropical, noticeably marine. But for this price it takes a lot more to challenge me to buy it

CheesyGarlicBread

Looking at these notes I imagined something that would remind me of Thailand. Coconut, rice, mango, etc. This surprised me by smelling like a basic white floral with citrus top note. No rice, no coconut, no mango. Glad this was a sample. Can salvage this by layering with a deeper fragrance. Will edit this review if something develops after this post.

Kloppo

Smells like Thai mango sticky-rice without the sugar and a hint of vodka. If this was a bit sweeter and more gorumand I would like it, but as it is it's just to bland. There's also this underlying floral note tht I cant put my finger on, which isnt listed. Definitely 'more feminine' and as a guy, this desperately needs a hit of sugar to be something worth paying $200 for 50ml.

fragem

This is way too similar to D&G Light Blue to get this. Both fragrances have a lot of citrus. Moonlight in Heaven does smell nice, don't get me wrong, but it is not worth the price tag when you can get 90% of the effect through Light Blue.

ingeneuxo

-Nondescript, nice scent.
-A definite crowd pleaser.
-Dries down to a beast-mode floral..that screams "GENERIC COLOGNE".
-Not fbw. (-)
