To me, this is better than blanche bete. The drawback however, is the longevity and sillage. This fragrance is on the quiet side. Too bad!

alizeepoulin

I love this perfume so much.
Very musky almondy and slightly floral.
It seems very simple somehow, i Can t justify the Price tag but it s very well executed.
Even bigger problem for me is that it smells very juvénile so i dislike wearing it in public.
Im desperately searching for a similar perfume with more mature vibe.
In the meantime i got an arab perfume oil inspired by RIL, cheap and enough to have the pleasure to Wear it at home

Hifza

The scent is good but it's super-heavy. Practically, it's not possible for people like me to wear it daily because overpowering of any fragrance makes me sick. I have used it's inspiration with the name of Lovebound by Dua a couple of times and honestly, so far, it's much much better, amazing performance till date!

miimiis

Car air freshener. Heavy, a little sickening if I get my nose close to where I sprayed. It doesn't smell bad, if someone wearing this walks past me and I get a whiff from the scent I would think it's beautiful, but on me and on my clothes it's so strong, I can't smell anything else. It's sweet, powdery, I can't detect any almond, it's just nice, nothing more.
It's more mature, but I feel like a lot of Kilian's scents are mature, maybe an office setting if you don't overspray.

AnnaMagenta

After spraying on my skin I immediately thought of Marfa by Memo. However, Marfa has a screechy herbal cocktail in the opening and RIL is just so well blended from the start the the finish.

RIL has a more fruity edible opening, I don't read the middle much, I see very short developing into the creamy vanilla/cashmeran wood dry down.

Overall, It is not a ground-breaking scent but it is made from superior-quality materials than those in “reminds me” section. And it gets me compliments.

vanillashpice

This is a really powdery , nutty almond. It’s very creamy , Realistic almond. It’s not synthetically sweet it has almost a salty vibe , it’s also floral , with a powdery undertone. Not soapy, sweet or sharp just like almond milk or amaretto and creamy flowers. It’s not as thick as oud Tonka, nowhere as sickly sweet , and I don’t get cherry cough syrup out of this one.

nisarsarah9

When you have a love and hate relationship with someone, you can't just let it go, you're addictive and this scent is like this for me. I just can't let it go, it's beautiful, classy, amazing blend which gives a creamy texture but it triggers my migraine and I just don't know what to do, if there are 99 to 100 % dupes available in the market, please share it with me. Thanks!

disquietriot

It’s /almost/ perfect. I want to love it but it’s just too sweet. I love the combination of notes, it’s very artful, but there’s just an overdose of saccharine that’s overpowering to my nose.

astralmonad870

Got my review taken down for comparing this to play-doh and explaining that Scarlet Poppy does have a cherry facet due to the heliotrope. If you are buying into the hype of overpriced perfumes without judging quality you probably downvoted

natk

Despite so many glorious reviews - please do not blind buy this. Test it first. It's a nice fragrance, most people will like it in sillage. But up close I couldn't get past the freesia note and something almost metallic which together made it smell like sweat at dawn. Nice, clean (if you can say this about sweat) dusted by the most luxurious powder and mixed with a drop of perfume from the night before but still sweat. Knowing a little bit about Killian Hennessy and that he bottles his memories including certain "parties" I'm not surprised it evoked this picture :-)

PS. "Girls can say anything" after a few hours smells a lot like Rolling In Love. Yes, GCSA is extremely screechy and too loud but after it calms down they do smell like maybe 80% similar.

astralmonad870

Someone said that Scarlet Poppy doesn't have a cherry vibe, but yes it does! Because it contains heliotrope which provides a cherry nuance, I can definitely smell it. But unlike here, that nuance is fresh. I actually really dislike the musty cherry liqueur smell of amaretto; it makes me nauseous. I couldn't stand it in Italica by Xerjoff and it smells like play-doh here.

Iconic'80s

I said I would never buy a Killian fragrance. The bottle too plain, the pricetag ridiculous, the hype too much. So then I selected a few things in the discovery set and tried them out. Well, they are pretty nice.
And then....
I saw some on Costco.com. For an extra $45 off. So I ordered Rolling in Love. Who even knew that Costco sells nice fragrance!?
I put it on and it was Love. So very much.
The bottle is beautiful. The fragrance doesn't last too very long but I only reapplied once throughout the work day.
It is divine. Creamy almond, tonka blended so that it does not offend me. I just love everything about it, except for the longevity, which I can live with.

maddieonline

I need this so bad.
This is absolutely stunning - it opens with a strong, milky, almost amaretto-like almond, and remains nutty as it dries down and develops on the skin. The more it develops, the more tonka/ vanilla/ iris comes out. This is absolutely perfect for daily wear, the office, a date night etc etc etc. It isn't anything crazily unique, but it is very very well blended and I would say is suitable year-round at any time of day and is sweet without being overpowering. It's creamy and definitely gourmand - smells like sitting in a flower garden eating an almond croissant.
The bottle is beautiful and very romantic, and just feels luxurious to hold.
This WILL project massively, so perhaps don't overspray if it's for the office, and it lasts and lasts on clothes, on a tester strip and on skin. Pro-tip - layer with the Body Shop almond milk and honey collection for a beautiful lactonic sticky-sweet and floral combination.
This is honestly one of the best perfumes I have smelled in forever.

Blossomlove

Sometimes I don't need an uber-unique and innovative fragrance, sometimes I just want something that smells good, and I disagree with some comments below. While this isn't so complex or unique, it smells divine and to me, this smells expensive. There's a difference in niche perfumery, sometimes we pay for creativity and sometimes we pay for quality and here, this perfume smells like a fine fragrance that is mass appealing but created with attention to quality while creating dimensions and layers to a composition to create a very beautiful, harmonious product. That is what has been done with Rolling in Love. It's a beautiful almond, vanilla, and tonka perfume with a floral quality and every note plays so well with one another and complements the composition perfectly. The only notes I can truly pick out are the almond and tonka. It doesn't smell like tuberose, vanilla, freesia, or iris to me. That is a sign of a very well blended perfume created by an experienced perfumer. This is perfect for daily wear and can be worn year-round. I even think it's appropriate for summer. This can be worn to work, for evening, on date night, and would make a great signature scent. Love it. 10/10. Reminds me of Borea by Tiziana Terenzi.

ien4444

I once spent four days oxidizing these candle holders I got from CB2 with ammonia and vinegar to add a patina in time for a dinner party. The second "stage" of this oxidizing process turned the yellow brass surface this stunning copper hue before the metal darkened and lost its shiny lustre. This perfume opens like that-- cold, metallic, red.

When I close my eyes, I find myself in a hospital bed somewhere near an open window onlooking the Mediterranean Sea. A portrait of Saint Felix di Nola hangs on the wall. Freesias and tuberose grow wild nearby. Sterile metal tools reflect the perfect daylight onto the jaundiced fresco ceiling. The aroma of a world-famous bakery's biscotti is carried by the breeze from a nurse on her third break. She scrapes at her teeth with her 10 euro manicure for the skin of a maraschino cherry leftover from her morning gelato and cigarette.

The dry down is a lot less European. It has a summertime Sally Beauty balm--- vanilla and coconut-scented dry shampoo layer over moroccan argon oil still settling into your unwashed roots. Mineral SPF and body glitter are squished between your salty skin and a neoprene bathing suit almost dry from a chlorine pool. It's a forum of mass produced pleasures that offers an easy respite from productivity.

This perfume captures the excitement of opening a tin box of fruit cake and seeing actual fruit cake instead of sewing supplies. You pinch off a piece with your fingers to take advantage of the opportunity only to remember that you're not particularly fond of this dessert. The fruity, spiced oils stick to your fingers leaving them slick.

From this point forward, Rolling in Love is quite linear. There's something about the almond-cherry-fruitcake sweetness that makes this fragrance smell like an older woman trying to hold on to her youth. It's conventionally attractive and so lacks originality. Maturity without wisdom perhaps...

Pamperednose

I like it but it’s nothing unique nor deserving of the Kilian price tag.

It vibes similarly to a hundred silent ways. Less complex, more demure.

The backbone is vanilla. Somewhat plastic. Dominated by white florals. Nuanced by stone fruit in HSW & short lived milky almond in RIL.

I won’t lie. If I had a do over. I wouldn’t purchase either as a full bottle. They both are fine, but do not live up to the praise. Generic. Cheap,

MichelleSouza

All I get is a very very soft milky muskiness, no sweetness, and a slight soft sourness on the backend, that isn't easy to detect, it must be the freesia. I was hoping for a sweet almond, but that is what we get when we read reviews and blind buy. Will let it sit for a few weeks and revisit it, let's see if my perception of it will change.

Bordo

On paper it smells pretty intoxicating, warm, subtle, mysterious... But on skin it is a bit lipsticky, fruitiness and a touch of muskiness comes through.

koxayous

I mean Kilian..I don't even know how to defend this
for the price tag this is so synthetic
very sweet creamy vanilla-almond opening with strong iris-y musk. a slight freesia sourness.

looks great on paper but in reality such a cheap plasticky concoction..

fragitiina

This is fine and I can appreciate it on someone else. Initially RIL smells like cookies and flowers, happy and uplifting, very feminine. There also is something green on the first 30mins... could it be iris?

On me it turns into something I don't prefer, and especially on the dry down it's overly sweet and almondy for me. Unfortunately, I can detect a slight headache inducing element for the first hours when smelling too close or spraying too much. After 2-3h it's not projecting too much and hence the headache effect is reduced. Also by then the flowers are also gone...

Ah, what a pity, but thankfully Kilian makes some other great ones. This was a miss for me.

i_r

Elegant and addictive. 2 years later I still can’t wait to get up in the morning and put this on me! I must be one of the lucky few that get strong projection for up to 6 hours (from just 1 spray distributed between neck, wrists and cleavage!).

Victoria28

I love this fragrance! The bottle is amazing, smells seductive and its perfect for dates. But for this price, it is relatively non-lasting and close to the skin, which is quite disappointing.

monamushroom

This is nice, but I don’t think it is worth the big hype for something that I feel smells pretty sweet and generic? A sweet, sexy, vanilla, white flower fragrance, but that is it?

Kkardaper

I think I am starting to realize that more feminine scents don't fit well with my chemistry. I got a few Killian samples from scent split and because it is a rainy day I thought I would try this more fall/winter scent on. I feel like I have definitely smelled something like this before. To me nose though a-lot of more feminine leaning scents smell like a bath and body works. The iris is the most noticeable note to me beside the almond milk and vanilla. It isn't too strong on the musk (thank god...I hate musk) This is a pretty sweet white floral and would make a great signature for any girl that wears pink. It is very sweet and maybe that's what I don't really like about it. It smells cheap to me as well, which considering the price...it shouldn't.

Update: I bought a bottle. I know I said I wasn't a fan but I tried it out one more time and I loved the way I smelled it held pretty long after spraying in my hair. It's creamy and sexy, its almost super comforting as well. It makes me feel elegant and innocent but there's a bit of a wild side to me as well. Definitely a date night or play time (you know) perfume. It minds me of a marshmallow for some reason.

Aquinabc

I couldn't figure out what this weird plastic smelling opening is.. until someone mention playdoh.. yes! that's it.. it doesn't smell good to me at all. and then that playdoh smell goes away and it's more pleasant.. like vanilla and light floral plus tiny bit of playdoh.

lanabroz

Nice, but overpriced and overhyped for what it is 🤷🏼

GrenadeGirl

This is a funny one to me.. I truly really do like it, it is a soft, creamy, beautiful light and sweet floral. Honestly, there are no sharp edges here at all, it really is the most stunning, perfect blend!

For whatever reason though, whenever I try it it smells lovely, BUT ... honestly, I think this should be worn by someone with grace, elegance and finesse. That and me are entirely different ends of the spectrum. Lol.

mea194

I was really looking forward to sampling this one! At first spray the almond creaminess is there along with a sweetness, but there is a surprising little bit of a spicy note that kind of reminds me of a fresh salsa (as weird as that sounds) but it is really nice and adds an edge to it! It has some florals as well like the iris that sticks out and there is an obvious musk to it. It’s a soft lovely floral sweet scent with a tiny edge that is very wearable! The projection isn’t as strong as I thought so it’s more intimate and perfect for “rolling in love”. It’s not as sweet as other Kilian scents and leans more white floral. As of now I am even considering having this be my wedding day scent, you can have the option to engrave a full size bottle and I think I may for that day. ☺️💕

Roses1357

Love this bottle. Love this scent. It’s simply sweet and floral, but not overbearing. Feminine. But, it gives me an allergic reaction. Thankfully found a close enough dupe, so can still kind of enjoy this.

FruityPatchouli

When I first spray I almost get cherry chapstick or some kind of flavored chapstick like the previous person said. It’s a bit cosmetic, but not too much. Then once it dries down the tuberose comes out to play and it is lovelyyy. Oh wow. This is so well done and just beautiful. I’m in love!

ginandrice

Okay, this is wild. For about three minutes, this smells exactly like the Cosmic Shimmer Lip Smacker I had as a tween. The sweet-smooth Play-Doh-ish scent of the almond and the vaguely chocolatey note of the ambrette meld with the waxy and subtly fruity scent of the freesia, and it smells EXACTLY like that Lip Smacker smelled.

What year is it? Where are my Sweet Valley Twins books? Where are my glittery butterfly clips?? What did you do with my Tamagotchi?!?

...

Right, okay, okay. So after the fleeting waxy-synthetic-chocolate-fruit-shimmer trip of the opening, it all dries down into a pleasant, moderate, powdery and vanillic white floral.

It has the smooth lightness of powder—but a lot of powder. The vibe is classy, but in a young, careless sort of way.

Like a pair of young women hanging out in a spacious bedroom, drinking vanilla lattes and doing a makeup declutter. The girl whose room it is has produced a trove of luxury makeup and tumbled it out haphazardly onto her fourposter bed. The spring scent of flowers in the flowerbeds outside breezes in through the open window, mingling with the dainty wax and powder scents of the makeup arrayed on the bed.

aline_s

The kind of perfume you’ll need to try out and grow into it. Hated it the first time I sprayed it on, was a bit nauseating. After 10-20 minutes on my skin it turns into a seductive, sensual, alluring ghost-like dark feminine presence. Sweet and pleasant, but with some unexpected mysterious dark notes. If I were an actress playing a gothic vampire character, this is what I’d smell like. Quite theatrical and appealing to the imagination, soft and silky presence on your skin.

Betsywoolbright

Got a sample of Rolling in Love along with a few others from this same house. I love the initial blast... iris and tuberose is proving to be an accord I love. I wish there were more of both, as they seem to step back and let the off-white notes take over. Like others said, it doesn't seem especially strong or long-lasting. It's more creamy than powdery to me. I sprayed a bunch on my arms and neck last night, and I did end up getting a headache after about half an hour, which is uncommon for me. So I'm unsure if it's the perfume itself or if I was just feeling unwell. Overall, I think it's probably overhyped, but it's not bad in any way. I'm unlikely to buy a bottle, but I'd probably wear it if I were given some. I will test from my sample, and will finish it, and enjoy it. Perhaps I can find a reasonably priced decant or mini or sample, cuz I do like (not love) it.

621moni

When I first smelled this I thought I had finally found my signature scent. WOW! The almond milk and iris and musk really got it for me. But the drydown at the 6 hour mark smells like the mothballs in your college boyfriend’s dorm room, in like the worst way. I’ve never had a perfume go from 100 to -50 for me— for six hours I was in absolutely heaven but then I was nauseated. Good thing I hadn’t splurged on the full bottle yet because I was about to lol. I’m almost tempted to try it out one more time but I don’t think I will.

Perfect10Tara

Extremely feminine, creamy, milky, almondy, rose. I kind of want to eat it and imagine it would taste like a luxury bakewell tart. It's very much a skin scent, but a sensual sexy skin scent, that exudes love and affection. If you want to seduce someone wear this. It's so aptly named Rolling In Love. The bottle is interesting too in a very understated way. It has a lovely embossing on the side that adds to its classiness and the notion of touch and desire. It's all very clever.

SOTD Rolling in Love by Kilian Paris 5/5

First spray is sweet floral but on me goes directly to a skin scent. It is very pleasant. The strongest notes to me are the ambrette and musk. Feminine energy powerhouse. Enjoyed the sample, just wished it had better silage. Smells like a fancy hotel’s clean sheets in the best way. The scent is very addicting and I keep smelling my wrist. Would buy a travel size even though the performance is lacking and/or oil perfumery’s version.

Reviewed is based on a purchased Narcotics Mini Discovery 1.5mL. Wore at home.

Mademoiselle Rêve

Wearing it for the first time since I own a bottle: a pleasant fragrance, but not as great as I thought it would be for me after two tests in the store, when I thought: oh, it is enchanting!

I have a feeling that it does not match the price tag. There are perfumes that come with a great cost, but each time you smell them - you are in awe, the quality is felt, every penny well spent and worth it... Well, It is not my experience with Rolling in Love, so far: it is a good perfume, yes, but the scent itself, and even more so its sillage and longevity, turn out to be underwhelming. It smells like a very pretty, well done designer perfume. I need to wear it a couple of times to form an opinion, but my initial thoughts are:
1. An essentially feminine perfume, through and through. It oozes feminine energy.
2. It is soft, well-blended, nutty-powdery-musky. Other reviewers have described the scent profile very well.
3. What really disappoints me so far is the sillage and longevity (both weak), hence my remark about it being lesser than I expected. I would need to overspray or apply it often, and for the price, unless you really love the scent, it is not justifiable.

AmoreProfumi

I get the comparison to GG but ever so slightly.. GG is more dialed up sweet with a light powder undertone where this is dialed up powder with a light sweet undertone. You also get that faint signature makeup/lipstick tone with the iris you don’t get in GG. This scent is gorg and stands well on its own but I could see how some who likes good girl or liked GG but wished it was less sweet would like this, either one will have you feeling sexy and interesting. 😉

Nate8796

It’s beautiful, but it smells exactly like a febreze spray..

Tshahb

There could be some interesting notes here but everything is smothered in an overdose of ambroxan or some synthetic musk. It's overbearing.

There's an interesting, austere iris in there, but it's been flattened under the "almond".

I'm glad I only got a 5ml decant, I don't need any more than that.

twinmalaysia

It smells like a creamy silky sweet almond milk bomb. It does feel extremely sensual like many others have stated. I don't think I've ever smelled a more sensual scent than this. After 20 minutes a slightly woody smokiness starts to peak through and then at the end it becomes a very musky skin scent.

I wish it had a bit better longevity, on my skin it's roughly 30 minutes. I do love the first 15-20 minutes so much but it's a bit sad how fast the silky sweet almond milk disappears. I wish someone would make a dupe that lasted longer.

TattooGypsy

Those who voted Olympea as a smell alike are spot on. As soon as I tried this, I was like 'wait a sec, I know this smell' and sure enough, it smells almost identical to Olympea. This opens a bit more floral, but after a few minutes, it's basically Olympea. The notes do not look that similar, but the smell is very close. I'm glad I sampled because I would have been upset had I blind bought a full bottle. It's lovely of course, but I already own Olympea so for me it would be redundant because they are too similar. P.S. I don't really get almond out of this obviously.

mrsz.o-o

On its opening it smells like a warm bowl of Cheerios made with cashew milk and a teaspoon of Demerara. The dry-down is a little more seductive (in an ingenue type of way), creamy florals with hints of a polite musk.

It disappears after 4/5 hours though - not great considering the price.

It pairs especially well with Choco Musk (oil).

MM888857383

I'm not the biggest fan of this. It's alright, not unique though. 5 or 6 out of 10 in my personal opinion.

Snicole82

This is not unique. It smells like a fruity floral withe creamy almonds. It doesn’t project a lot and has a short longevity, even when sprayed on clothes. It’s definitely not something that is worth the cost. It’s nice enough, but not hundreds of dollars nice.

Longevity: Weak
Sillage: Weak

CrissyCK

I like this scent, but the sweet milkiness sometimes gets to me and doesn't settle well with me. Despite this, it's still a beautiful girly well-blended fragrance. My husband approves so I guess that's all I need! I wear for date nights only. I don't think I could handle everyday wear just because it can sometimes be nauseating.

unrealgirl

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmhhhhhhhhhhh i want to eat this... this is the best shit ive ever smelled in my life

Cokesweet89

Super sexy fragrance. Floral, creamy yet has a uniqueness about it I can’t describe. I want to dress up in a long sexy dark dress with red nails and lipstick when I smell this. Truly a beautiful scent.

DianaCiobo

A sexy, feminine perfume. You can clearly feel the almonds and vanilla. One of my favorites from Killian.

Ginzao

I heard this is sex and femininity in a bottle. Wow not my impression at all. To me this scent profile is soooo juvenile. This is something I would buy a teenage girl as her first perfume. Gave me a headache too. Very basic powdery sweetness and such a let down!

PetyaK

The dry down resembles Marfa by Memo.

straightupfragman

The name ‘Rolling in Love’ is probably putting it mildly because this fragrance possesses the ability to emote sensual (sexual) feelings. It just feels like something that a confident minx (in bright red lipstick and red high heels) might wear. To me this is the perfect honeymoon fragrance.

what I cannot fathom is it being referred to as unisex - absolute criminal! No man should ever smell like this as it is everything feminine - a seductress’ potion!

missingbonnet

Mild powder scent.
At some point reminds me of mothballs. The dry down is nicer.

Kinnyski

By Killian just isn't for my body chemistry. definitely not a safe blind buy. Black Phantom smelled like rubber, cardboard and crushed nuts. Rolling in Love was just OK. Sugary almonds with some vanilla was just eaten up by my skin and people could barely smell it. For this price it should be at least a like. Will not repurchase and just layer with others till the 10 ml runs out or pass on to a friend.

JamesGamez

If music had a smell Kiss it better by Rihanna would smell like this lol.

Rolling in love is a perfect name. It’s a scent you wear when you’re going to be in close contact with someone.

frangiris

At first, it is just a sweet and soft cloud that smells slightly artificial, yet smooth. Then the florals come out and the scent reveals not just sweetness but also some aromatic aspects. I really like it, although it does not seem to last that long as it's mostly gone within a few hours.

sydeyn

this is straight up grapes and almond. nice

kikolja

The divine amalgamation of almond milk, iris, and tuberose emanates a sensual and enveloping aura, making it my unwavering signature scent.

However, it has come to my attention that there is a circulating claim comparing Rolling in Love to Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl. This parallel is a bewildering misconception, as the two perfumes are worlds apart in terms of complexity, richness, and overall olfactive experience. Good Girl, while appealing to some, is a stark contrast to the intricate artistry present in By Kilian's masterpiece, and may be viewed as a simpler, more commercially driven fragrance. My boyfriend, with his discerning nose, has never mistaken this luxurious scent for any other. He recognizes the unique character of Rolling in Love, acknowledging its individuality behind it.

The depth and the sillage of Rolling in Love are unmatched. Only in matters of longevity, it wavers. While Good Girl might share a distant olfactive relative with Rolling in Love, it is by no means a comparable experience. By Kilian’s Rolling in Love is undeniably a fragrance in a league of its own, and it continues to be the olfactive signature that represents my essence and my love for the exquisite, serving as both a luxurious indulgence and a soothing remedy.
To me, Rolling in Love is more than just a wonderful scent; it's like a calming remedy. When I put it on, it feels like my whole body just relaxes and pacifies my mind.

jjluvsm9

This perfume on my skin definitely seems different to a lot of the reviews below. What I get is a quite buttery almond, dry powdery iris and fluffy musk scent, in essence. I don’t find it to be particularly sweet at all and I do think men could wear it. It does smell a bit like a second skin due to the way the musk is done here & it being quite a soft scent. It feels quite beautiful and understated which I like, but equally I don’t find myself being blown away by this though, it’s smooth and nice but something is lacking and that is character.
Unfortunately that has been my experience with most of the female marketed Kilian scents I’ve tried so far; they’re surely well blended but I find them a bit ‘safe’ like they’re afraid to go all out on an idea for fear of sacrificing commerciality maybe.
I blind bought a bottle of this and while it’s lovely enough to use up, I wouldn’t repurchase at this price point. 8/10 from me. It appeals to me as I love almond notes!

For a second opinion, my bf said it’s the worst perfume he’s ever smelled. Ahhh!

This is my first time getting an almond perfume, and I really enjoy it. It is definitely a very sweet perfume (not in the gourmand way) which I am not usually used to, but I do think it is pleasant and elegant. I can imagine myself using this in the spring on a picnic or hanging out in a beautiful park.

nhilicious

Every time I wear this I feel like it brings out the most feminine side of me. The almond is definitely the most standing out for me, but it is so sophisticated and elegant. The red on the bottle is an amazing choice for this scent because they are going together so perfectly. It's like the color of the scent. I do notice the DNA of 'Love series' in this perfume, I have tried another Love perfume and I can tell Killian signature in this. I won't say it's the best in the line but definitely the most elegant almond I have ever tried.

naksahdill

I think I'm gonna skip niche fragrances for a while. I had no luck recently. This one has nothing amazing or special as one would expect based on its price. I don't get the individual notes, just the final aroma. It is perfumy. Like a classic fragrance store. Nothing outstanding or noticeable. In terms of sillage and projection it's ok, ladylike and a bit mature in a good way. I would not a buy a full bottle.

LuckyDay27

I just purchased a sample of this and I don’t care for it too much at all. It smells “mature “ and heavy to me and even though I am mature (57!) , I don’t want to wear this. I thought I would because it has the almond milk note in it but I don’t get much almond from it, mostly just heavy stinky florals that I don’t like. Glad I got to try it though but I would definitely not buy a bottle- too bad because the Kilian bottles are very pretty and fancy looking!

Starcadia

Smelled this tonight on a waitress. This particular blend goes back to the '80s at least. Poison and Opium. I still like that smell, and it's weird that it's still being released by newer brands. Maybe because it's still sexy, a proven formula.

jassca99

The first time I smelled Rolling in Love, my first thought was that iris and almond were the life of this party. I thought it was very powdery and didn’t think it was my style but felt like it would grow on me because I still liked it. A year later in May, it grew on me. My skin just transforms this fragrance. It’s more creamy and musky now with almond milk and peachy undertones. A tame tuberose mixed with other florals and vanilla. There is a freshness, that makes this wearable in warmer weather like spring and early fall. I sometimes get away with it in summer especially with the tuberose that reminds me of a calmer version of the one in the beachy Le Labo Lys 41. The coziness makes it perfect for fall and sometimes winter. It satisfies the fresh milkiness I got in MM Coffee Break without sharp soapy lavender at times. Also satisfies the prominent almond I got in the sweeter, creamier JM Scarlet Poppy which was not an all-year round scent. I’m also not sure if I’m going crazy but I smell jasmine in here, which made me uninterested in buying a Valentino DBIR Intense travel after selling the full bottle. To clarify, I don’t think these smell similar.

The point I’m trying to make is Rolling in Love fits many sleeves and satisfies many cravings in one juice, making it a good signature for me. It helps that it surprisingly wears beautifully in hot humid weather. Although it’s something I won’t crave all the time in the summer time or really cold winter, it’s a good all-year-round scent for the most part.

Update: The more I smell a side-by-side of Aerin Amber Musk that I first tested in Jul2023 years after testing Rolling in Love that I bought May2023, the more I realize similarities. Except RIL has a powdery musk, not an oily musk which I prefer more. RIL also projects more in the opening but Aerin lasts a little longer and warms up, projecting more on the skin with time. Both last on clothes though. Conflicted because that means I don’t need both long-term, so I may not repurchase when one finishes. It’ll probably be RIL because of the longevity on skin. Also because I can just buy the refillable and refill my travel size. The empty bottle when I’m finished will go to my sister after I refill it for her. She really likes this scent and it fits her. It’s funny how that happens, when two fragrances smell somewhat similar with different note breakdowns. Probably why I love them both.

honeybunny1977

The reviews surprise me so much because this is such a likable beautiful scent on me. The freesia and tuberose take a back seat to the nutty almond and ambrette which is gorgeous. I find it to be delicious and dont have anything like this. I like it better than Ani by Nishane and overall recommend it. (I have no idea why people associate this with hair products so it must be one I have not used on my hair.)

LittleMissBlasian

Wanted to love so bad but it’s headache inducing for me. Selling on my Mercari, link on my profile.

ambervxyjul

A pretty likable Killian. It’s sweet but not overly so. Balanced well with florals, freshness, sweetness and depth with tonka. Reminds me of good girl just a slight bit in the opening. Almond and tuberose can make me nauseous (hypnotic poison or my way) but this is a smooth creamy fresh almond and the tuberose isn’t detectable for me almost at all. Overall it’s a nice scent and I will reach for this when the leaves turn orange and the rain comes out.

If you enjoy good girl or black opium, this will be a good one to try!

Killians are a hit and miss with projection/longevity and this is on the weaker scale. I would suggest buying on discounted sites because although the bottle and packaging is luxurious, the scent disappeared on me after 5 hours. Next time I’ll add a coffee or almond oil beforehand so it can grip on more.

LxRusso

It really reminds me of something I smelled as a kid in the 90s. For the life of me I can't remember what though. Maybe a candy, a hairspray, a toy or another perfume I'm not sure. But it's really annoying me aha

scnofthcrime

Sweet almond, musk, florals (I smell freesia the best), and the nuttiness of tonka to finish. Deep dry down this becomes very much a white musk scent. To me this smells like it could be a high end hair conditioner. It has that creamy, sweet, yet clean vibe. This is the kind of thing you could wear daily as it works for most situations. I'm really liking this, but I'm not sure it's worth $290 for 50mls.

EditaVrb

This is bright and pretty. It has nothing to do with it but somehow it reminds me of “Si” by Armani. It has the same vibe. Too bad the sillage is so weak and has no longevity.

HMY

I am surprised no one mentioned similarity with poison girl. It smell’s exactly the same. I was expecting lactonic, tuberose scent similar to blanche bete. But nothing like that; it smells very designer perfume. Super sweet, designer like. There is nothing niche about this. Pass for me.

luanneog

Nutty, creamy and powdery in a mekup-y way. Very delicate florals and sweet but not gourmand. I'd say it's very pretty and feminine. I like it more during the dry down. Not that remarkable to me so I wouldn't buy it for that price point. Great longevity though.

ThatSomeone

This is the scent I imagine when thinking of the word "feminine". This was the first (and only) perfume that got my attention out of the Kilian Discovery Set, so much so that I end up ordering it a few hours into testing it on my skin. It is very soft, sweet and milky.

The almond milk note is noticeable in the opening and on my skin develops really beautifully. On clothing the almond note is much more noticeable than on the skin.

I find it to be sensual as well, but it's not particularly a date night scent. It could be worn all year around and has the potential to be a pretty signature scent.

honeyoceans

This is super yummy. Sweet, nutty, creamy. It smells like almond extract, which I love. Much smoother and creamier than pure almond extract, it’s lightly floral and vanillic as well. I have only worn the sample for two full wears so far, and while I love the scent the performance isn’t very impressive. It almost immediately settles into a very close skin scent, and only lasts maybe 4 hours. I will enjoy this sample while it lasts, but would not pick up a full bottle. The price just doesn’t match the performance. It’s one I’d be very happy to receive as a gift but can’t justify spending my own money on

Detman101

Wearing this tomorrow while out with the wife.
This is a fragrance that I specifically wear when I'm relaxing out and about with my baby.
Enjoying the sights, going to the park, going out to eat. This fragrance is the perfect Tuberose, milky, creamy, floral perfection to compliment any well-dressed and relaxed day with a loved one.
The comfort this fragrance brings me...reminds me of her, I take it with me when I travel for work.
Tomorrow, I will layer it with "Qaed al Fursan Unlimited" for the floral-coconut...
It will be another spectacular day spent enjoying life and smelling great with my wife.

Kinzie31

“Smells like Pandan”, my boyfriend said. And I have to say, I agree!

Pez_Enelrio

To me it smells like the mix of CH GG and PR Olympea - which is a good idea, yet you better off buying those two and layer them than buying this one at its price😀

neşeyusubova

Vanilla floral perfume. I took the 15 ml decant. First, I smell almonds. But as time passes, I feel the sweetness of vanilla and white flowers very well. I prefer it in daily life.

stefavramoglou

The word that describes this fragrance in my opinion is, cute. It is very nice, sweet, creamy, clean. Lasts about 8 hours on skin, but from the beginning it is a skin scent, it is not massively projecting, and it isn't supposed to be anyway. And there's nothing wrong with that! I picture it for more intimate, cuddling in bed situations, let your imagination flow.

KerriZ

ugh. It's like pink marshmallows with lots of white powdered sugar covering a crunchy musk. I appreciate the rich elements and blending but this is soo not for me.

nicholasmendez13

I impulse bought Rolling in Love for my girlfriend after testing it at neiman marcus. It smelled so unique and intoxicating on first sniff--reminded me of a smell I felt like I had smelled as a child. It's incredibly musky--one of the muskiest perfumes I've ever tried. It does smell nice on her BUT.

Fast forward a few months and now I think this perfume has a generic girly-girl scent that I realized isn't particularly sexy. In fact, the only reason I don't hate it now is because the quality of the ingredients is very high, so there isn't anything synthetic smelling about this at all. The almond milk accord is a blend of 5 musks all dosed very high. So it smells like a second skin and very natural. But it's got this distinct "red smell" rather like cherries that I don't appreciate anymore. It smells like a mall perfume now to me. I think a lot of people might love this, some might not like it as much. I would test for a few days before purchasing. Don't judge it off one sniff like I did. My girlfriend barely wears it, I think it smells a little too alpha for her. I think a charismatic man could pull this off with 1 spray. Great Longevity.

Smell: Started out 8/10, now 5/10.

JustBetsy

From the nozzle, it smelled too masculine. I was regretting having bought it, but after the first spray, I discovered it's a nice unisex scent. However, I'm getting Elie Saab's Girl of Now vibes 🤔, sweetness turned way down!! It's not all that, but I like it enough to keep. 🙂

kdiddledizzle

This is L'ange Noir but more expensive. Not more expensive smelling, just more expensive. (Or I only paid about $60 for my bottle, no clue what people are trying to get for it now that it's discontinued.) If you like an almond note, this is a safe blind buy. If you don't, you aren't going to like this. Not sure it's bringing anything new to the table. It's one of the few Kilian scents I don't love. I don't hate it... I just kinda fell "meh" about it.

SaraZigova

Not projecting enough

MonicaLV

To me this smells almost identical to Kilian’s I Don’t Need A Prince To Be A Princess.

AkaNeri

Beautiful powdery floral vanilla! It's not loud, but it definitely present on a skin. Very rounded, well blended fragrance. It's a strong like!
In the dry down it becomes more and more powdery, it sits close to the skin, but with each motion of my hand I keep getting whiffs from it! Most prominent notes - powdery vanilla with almonds.

ChanelNotes

Incredibly sweet, on par with Pink Sugar. Had to give it away. It is definitely NOTHING like Scarlet Poppy which is a classy grown up heliotrope/tonka dream of a scent.

Petula009

When I saw that pyramid I was convinced it's another unispiring musk and I can see why it actually is for some people. But boy, oh boy did I fell in love with this. It's a cloud of beautiful musk, almond and orris. Beautifully balance with tuberose and freesia. I hate that the longevity is so poor. And so as the price tag for this. I might order another sample just to convice myself I don't need it. Hopefully it will work!
Vibes: sexy, musky cloud of an almond
Form: 2ml

leandrospk

It's a good scent, but it doesn't deserve the hype. There are many fragrances that are quite similar in design and much cheaper than this.

amanda0727

Wearing this today, this is so much more amazing in warmer weather!

msimo4

If you love rich and creamy gourmands, then this is for you. Really decadent combo of vanilla and chocolately hazelnut. Unfortunately like all the Kilian scents I've tried before, this doesn't perform at all. Skin scent in an hour or two.

ATTENTION ALL GOURMAND LOVERS: you need to try the following layering combo. 2 sprays of this on your wrist, followed by 2 sprays of Angel's Share also by Kilian. Basically smells like a Kinder Bueno in a fragrance but even better since it's accompanied by the added cinnamon-and-spice-stewed apple background from the AS. For me it's seriously one of the best things I've ever smelled since for me the sweeter the better, but isn't gonna be for everyone. Unfortunately again, AS doesn't perform either, so if anyone can find me some good dupes of both or of the combo in a fragrance then hit me up.

ayarossx

I really like this one and I think it will be my next perfume purchase. Very comforting and elegant

epcana

I wanted to try this perfume as it was considered Good girl-like. There are no similarities at all! Both are very different scents. Rolling In Love just reminds me of the smell of biscuits. It's not a special scent. If you want to smell biscuits, you can give it a chance. I expected more from this fragrance. I also think it's a winter scent. Too "sweet" for the summer months.

lmnsvgz

The most luxurious almond perfume I have tried. It doesn't smell like amaretto and alcohol like most almond perfumes, it is not smoky either. It is smooth, creamy, feminine. A very safe perfume from Kilian but very beautiful.

eefs

I really like this! Almond is one of my favourite notes though and it's pretty strong here so if you're not really into almond just walk away! It's powdery but not in a suffocating way, it still manages to remain fresh and almost a bit fruity, I think thanks to the tuberose. The performance isn't terrible, about 3 hours, but given the price tag it should be much better. I'd be more inclined to seek out similar but longer lasting frags than FS this one.

Amcoco

Killian Rolling in Love is a sweet and gentle tuberose, wrapped in almond milk and vanilla musk. It's is rounded and not sharp. It does not last that long, but it is the best 3 hours of your life, its is my absolute favorite fragrance of all time despite its not-great performance. It has surpassed anything I have ever encountered.

That being said I have attempted to purchase several similar perfumes and searched hundreds of reviews to find RIL successor and have been unsuccessful.

Scarlet Poppy is too weak to compare, and smells very inexpensive, smells clean with a hint of poppy, like a poppy air freshener. Borea was being suggested by the YouTube community does not smell anything like RIL, its a fresh coconut. It is similar to the base of Carolina Herrera's Good girl. Dahlia from Bath and Body out performs them all and is discontinued, and smelled the most similar to Rolling in Love but was not stronger than actual Rolling in Love.

I really like the base of Rolling in Love. If anyone has any recommendations to something similar please let me know, because I am obsessed.

maddy.cucu

Wearing this again today (I’ve had a bottle for years) and I’ve realized it smells similar to Muglers Alien. Not exact, but a more fuzzy/fizzy version of Alien. The combination of the notes comes across as a strong jasmine and amber.

I loved Alien in the past but I’m not crazy about this fragrance anymore, personally. I can see this being a love for someone else though.

jessica_chinos

It's a nice scent but not worth the price tag. It's very similar to Tease from Victoria's Secret and even Good Girl, so... It's sexy, feminine, soft and delicious, but so are Good Girl and Tease... The only thing I would say is, even if Tease smells similar to RIL, the quality ingredients from RIL are better and this one has a better drydown. Other than that, just grab VS's Tease.

Sheherazad

Strange overture. Initial spritz is floral trying mightily to burst thru pure alcohol, but it never does. A sour, decay smell moves in to dry down the alcohol, after which the teeniest sliver of iris peeks thru the sour decay — though not enough to tame it. If I hadn’t purchased this straight from the House, this opening would have me lamenting a fake. As it continues to evolve, the florals finally triumph prettily but what a nasty road to get here. I would have to spritz & hide for a bit, for fear someone mistakes the opening for b.o. Still, the florals & musk are really pretty once they settle in.

OfTheValley

I have this since a while and wasn't impressed at first. I tried it again today and I love it.
A very elegant almond/oatmeal scent. It is rather a skin scent and doesn't project much, but it's lovely, pretty and perfectly wearable also in warm weather. Also very good for layering.

amudrechenko

The perfume is incredibly sexy and gorgeous. It opens up with a realistic, sweet almond and progresses into the territory of powders, musks and vanilla. The floral and tonka notes are hardly heard but are still present to add some delicacy and elegancy. The perfume is quite strong in the beginning and slowly fades into a more natural, skin-like, semi-sweet sillage scent. It's highly feminine, and for sure an evening fragrance, and is best suited for restaurant occasion. For me, it's a keep. I will add it to my "sugary" sweet perfume collection, that already includes Edgardio Chilini's Milky Way (with notes of sugar and condensed milk) and the Kilian's Love (burnt sugar notes).

Kizzyb93

This is my second review, and I get a completely different take on it than I did last time
When I first bought this, it really wasn’t something that I enjoyed whatsoever. However, something has changed!!!! Are used to think this was quite bitter now I feel like the almond got creamier and a lot more pleasant. It’s just an almond Musk but I’m starting to enjoy it a lot more now.
Maybe it’s because I let my bottles sit on the shelf a year of my bits, just because my nose is changing who knows??
All in all, this is becoming a lot, more pleasant. It’s still not a favourite and it is quite linear. However, I think I’m going to play about with a little bit more again this spring

a00000k

Wow, I did not enjoy this at all. I'm not sure what note or combination of notes it is in here that I find so repulsive, but it makes me think of a very cheap designer fragrance marketed towards 12 year olds. I only wore it for about 30 minutes before attempting to scrub it, as I had to go out and didn't want to inflict it on anyone else. Unfortunately, there is an extremely tenacious fixative in here that just won't quit. I've tried to wash it off 3 times and cover it with something else and I can still smell it 4 hours later. You couldn't pay me to wear this. Some people clearly love it though, so it might just be a me thing. Try before you buy.

EpicureOrHedonist?

"Smells like a best case scenario designer scent" said fiance upon smelling. We both enjoy the DNA of Kilian, find them to be easy reaches, and enjoy the "smoothness" and bit of depth that most of the blends have.

On my skin it opens with a juicy-ish, stunning note, like lychee chewy candies I used to eat traveling in SE Asia (Hi Chew!). Not synthetic, screechy sour juicy, but a creamy base, addictive juicy that doesn't smell overly cheap, young, or loud. If you've ever had popping bobba/bubble tea bubbles, it reminds me of that sensation: thick juiciness contained.

Transitions pretty quickly (juicy note persists throughout in decrescendo) into lactonic (milky) almond, remains very creamy and never that more musky or sour undertone that milk/milk accords can have. Closer to the scent of a real, raw almond versus an extract like marzipan. I find this very addictive to smell as the cool, nutty fat, creaminess contrasted with the rounded juiciness is a intriguing juxtaposition.

I don't get a lot (if any) of the freesia or tuberose. They are there as a sideline gesture, keeping the scent in a perfume-y category versus full-on gourmand. Imagine warm wind wafting through your garden window, carrying vague florals and maybe some bakery-approximate sweet smells. I think they keep the overall composition light, versus adding much or commanding attention.

Stays soft and similar, milky, smooth, juicy pop, sweetened. Never goes powdery or sticky or loses its depth. Appreciate that.

Longevity and sillage is disappointing. This is one I actually *want* to explicitly smell all day as it has that fun contrast and doesn't get tiring or overwhelming. Rare scent that I can do more than one spray of + I could re-apply every 3-4 hours happily (unfortunately). Lasted gently in hair 24h and vaguely on clothing as well.

When I was first introduced to Kilian (~2011) in my teen years, it was still considered (as I understood) a niche house; Back to Black Aphrodisiac was the first I smelled, enjoyed, and wore. Kilian feels like it is sliding more solidly into designer territory overall, while maintaining its old niche pricing. Best case designer smell for worst case designer pricing. Interesting enough that I would consider reseller pricing, albeit begrudgingly.

Very, very, very not like Jo Malone's Scarlet Poppy. At least not on my skin. Scarlet Poppy is barley, so much barley, and a very loud ambrette + orris combo that makes it loud powdery. Which I found odd--and not in an intriguing way.

Xela_529

Ouuuu baby I love this. Full disclaimer— I realize she has some mixed reviews, so I’ll say this: I think you really need to love almond notes in order to enjoy her.

It’s like if Good Girl and Libre had a baby.. a refined baby. With more almonds & no harsh lavender. She’s milky, nutty, creamy, but “perfumy” at the same time. So she’s not a total gourmand bomb.

I don’t think she’s too similar to Scarlet Poppy Intense & La Fenice Pour Femme. Scarlet Poppy lacks the “perfumy” element that RIL has, and La Fenice is a little lighter and more floral forward. If you love almond notes, I personally think you need all 3 in your collection.

fensismeksi

I found an EXACT dupe of this perfume! Believe me, I have both. Dapper version is identical smell but with much more lasting power. Trust me and thank me later!

Sweetboy05

I get a lot of nuttiness with the Almond/vanilla combo and it is amazing, and it lasts forever. My mom wanted to get rid of it because she didn't like it at first, but my siblings and I talked her out it. She is so glad she kept it, and so am I. This stuff rocks! Price tag is worth it in my opinion.

katherina.1

So, bluntly - straight off the bat, this is just play doh.

I was so excited to try it out, considering the similarities to Scarlet Poppy by Jo Malone - which I simply adore.

I sprayed two pritz on my wrist and smelled… what is this?? Flabbergasted. This has no similarities to SP, what so ever. No where near. I have tried it twice now but I just couldn’t bear it. I had to scrub it off right away.

I will try one more time, because after scrubbing it off I could smell something flower-y going on left on my skin. Just hope I will be able to let it live out it’s opening notes. I guess third time’s a charm😂

Nevertheless, unless something magical is happening after that opening has settled, I will not be buying a FB. I suspect I probably won’t even be able to use up my 12 ml tester. Will edit once I have tried again.

SophiaViolette

Rolling in “vanilla macarons” maybe? Opens with a warm, chalky almond and gourmand vanilla.

Dry-down of tonka beans and vanilla reminds me exactly of YSL Libre. Just buy that for less, or some vanilla gourmand perfume from Zara. I sprayed some from Zara on my other hand and it lasted longer than Kilian.

I feel like this lacks of depth and tartness to be something unique and addictive. Nice, but plain.

never in my life have i smelt a perfume opening like this one.
it opens with ripe, straight out the bag almond. not sweet- raw, unfiltered almond. green, almost.
after 10-20 minutes, this fades and becomes something similar to classique - hypnotic poison eau de parfum. theres something gingery, boozy, and vanillic in this fragrance that i really enjoy.
sadly, however, this is without a doubt a skin scent. after 30 minutes to an hour, it stops projecting entirely, and clasps to your skin. good for intimacy, but horrible if you want everyone to smell you. people who walk past will definitely notice anyway, just marginally less.
longevity is also nothing praise-worthy. 4-6 hours, at a push.
i love this, and dearly, and i greatly prefer it over love don’t be shy- but it’s definitely not for everyone, and definitely not a safe blind buy.

Zuoros

Smells very basic, sorry. Love Killian but this one is a meh for me. Not bad, but so so. It is a scent that you could buy at a Zara store. Would recommend if you like really sweet commercial scents aka flowerbomb, olympia, good girl gone bad, black opium,...

Laviejojo

Layer this with Tihota....you are welcome.

What is the universal gesture to show genuine love for a person, child, pet, or even a toy? The answer is to hug and cuddle with. Once again Kilian has given such an appropriate name to describe a scent, that's why I feel unnecessary to write a header in this review because the name itself is already self explanatory.

All the notes contained in this fragrance are perfectly selected to recreate the feeling of being loved. The most prominent notes are almond milk with sweet creamy tuberose that has been masterfully tuned and blended seamlessly by @kilianhennessy to not smell like its natural form. The pairing here altogether does not smell gourmand nor floral at all. What I get is the smell (or to be precise I describe as feeling) of a gentle hug, it's truly an amazing artful work and has to be experienced to understand.

The following mental states when receiving a hug and cuddle off course are the feel of comfort and ease of mind, which successfully delivered from the notes of vanilla and tonka. And definitely also an intimacy too from this gesture that can be noticed from the presence of musk.

Smell wise this is a very linear but absolutely an outstanding scent capable of bringing love to live. A perfect one to choose in this special day celebrated all over the world.

Happy Valentine's Day and may love will always be present in our lives 🫶💗💗💕

dalkiuyu

This reads surprisingly sharp, green, and floral to me, like a not-quite ripe almond — it's not as smooth or lactonic as I had been hoping it would be. It's overall still enjoyable, but the weak projection and dismal lasting power (especially at Kilian's price point) make this a pass for me

sourplum

I don't smell the almond milk note in this. was super excited for this but this just smells generic on me.
longevity is poor (~3hours) and its very much a skin scent :/

dcjimr

A strong like for me. Two sprays and 5 hours later I'm still getting wafts at arm's length. The florals are quite strong on my skin.

bloodorangesoda

Smells like cyanide hairspray. After it settles for an hour it is a slightly creamier version of the same scent. I wouldn't say it smells *cheap* but *expensive* cyanide hairspray isn't a scent I enjoy. It is almost headache-inducingly strong for the first hour but after that, it's basically a skin scent. No redeemable qualities, aside from the bottle. Disappointed to say the least. I had a few friends try this on and it smelled the same on them. I can't believe this is so popular!

Jjleeeee

On my skin after 30 minutes it ends up smelling exactly like a new area rug being unrolled….

Kizzyb93

Okay, so I blind bought this last year and I can honestly say I think it smells like faeces…. Okay maybe not, but have you ever been around someone that has fake tan on and hasn’t washed it off yet? that’s what it smells like. Pretty crappy. I usually love the house of Kilian , but this was a complete disappointment to me.

supersaiyan

Obnoxiously sweet sugar bomb, smells like Girl of Now (or maybe my tiny sample has become concentrated over the years). The sugar fades a little over time. Not for me, but I can see sweet gourmand lovers enjoying this one.

DearAlexabell

Opening was meh, dry down was a hate I never scrubbed something off so fast. I was not into this, on paper it smelled ok. Bought a bottle & on me it was nauseating. I usually love almond & vanilla but I guess maybe the floral & musk choice wasn’t doing it for me it was dominating for me…

Perfectleebeautiful

I’m not a fan of the opening of this one, but the dry down is okay. I’m not crazy about the scent, and I definitely won’t be buying a full bottle. In my opinion, the performance isn’t great. I think that I prefer it that way because something about this scent makes me feel a bit nauseous when I smell it up close. This fragrance is strangely thick yet light at the same time. It’s similar to LDBS in that I get a grape note where there is none. The musk here has been done very well & that is the highlight of the scent for me. Other than that, it’s just okay..

ldbslover

By Kilian just has to be one of my favorite houses at this point, Rolling In Love smells like vanilla almond milk, Absolutely delicious.

Beautiful scent.

Got a sample of it for my last order from Kilian and man this house just doesn’t miss to my nose. I’m disappointed in myself for waiting so long to try their stuff out.

Creamy Musky Almondy Tuberose all blends together great here.I feel like the name and the bottle are fitting.

I would love a woman to smell like this. At the same time I think a guy could pull it off with a gentle swagger, but it leans feminine if you ask me.

I’m a male though and might end up getting it one of these days because it smells that good to me. I just want to explore the more masculine scents first.

Would make a great gift for a SO or any respectable woman in your life imo.

Be wary of the performance before buying though. It’s not great. Only downside to it.

amanda0727

Scarlett Poppy is one of my all time fav, I can see why people say it is similar but only in the opening, I can see a slight resemblance. This one has a cherry vibe that Scarlett Poppy does not. Dries down to something that reminds me of Scandal By Night (its the tuberose). Yes projection & longevity sucks. However I do really love this one but it IS WAY OVERPRICED.

Waaaaaaw it's smells fresh,sexy,glamorous...
Amazing really waaaw

I hate that this scent doesn't last long, because it's gorgeous! Milky, warm, soft, cozy - yet bright and beautiful. It's stunning!

I find myself both over spraying and doing so throughout the day - which isn't good, at this price point.

It's a beauty, tho.

ViouAmara

I smell an acidulous fruity topping (cherry or even something more exotic like a starfruit), then a clean musky floral, hint of almond milk soap, a bit flat maybe, turning sweet but not too much. Not bad at all, but not very grownup either.

Rodgersand

I should have known better since I generally can’t stand the scent of almond or tuberose, and this has plenty of both. It smells very synthetic to me, or as someone said below, like “a mixture of carpet and super synthetic grape.” Not getting the grape so much as generic stale Halloween candy. Not a fan.

Adjr1087

Just a tip to make this last and project a little bit more: Buy the dupe oil by Oil Perfumery. You will find it by looking for the exact name of Rolling in Love. Apply on pulse points and then spread that oil into arms, chest, elbows, etc, and THEN apply this fragrance on top. Much better silage and longevity!!! ;)

silvereye

vanilla is definitely the dominant note and it smells very much like Alien Essence Absolu in the middle notes but not as boozy and with way less projection.

perfumesniffer

transparent ambrette iris musk. smells smooth and sheer. the bottle is red but the scent makes me think of a milky white clear color. the almond milk is neutral not sweet. the base picks up a little floralcy, maybe tuberose with a drop of cherry. absolutely LOVELOVELOVE this and if Kilian would make an extreme intense version it could be my signature. it’s far too weak with no projection. I’ve used 2/3 of my bottle and no one has ever smelled it on me. I still effing love the scent though.

the notes that are similar with CH Good Girl and JM Scarlet Poppy seems to be the ambrette (musk mallow) & iris. beyond these similar notes I don’t find the fragrances to be alike.

Scent 10/10
Longevity 3/10
Dear Kilian, make this with so much better longevity & projection and it will be much more successful.

I SERIOUSLY WANT TO FILL A BATHTUB WITH THIS AND SOAK IN IT FOR AN ENTIRE AFTERNOON.

JamesGamez

The opening is soft, slightly sweet, and almondy. It dries down to a creamy musky floral scent. The longevity/projection is horrid for how expensive this is.
The opening does have the same vibe as Scarlet poppy intense but they go in different directions.
Scarlet poppy is better of the two, and has better longevity.

Adjr1087

This would be my signature perfume if only it would last longer and project stronger. This is everything I ever wanted in a fragrance. It has my favorite note (Almond) but not the sweet kind you find in most Almond perfumes (which I also love!). This is a sophisticated, realistic almond, with a touch of creaminess, almost like a fancy lotion. You can pull this off during any season, hot or cold weather. I would love to see an Extreme version of this, that keeps the exact same scent but is potent enough to last 8 hours at least and leave a nice scent trail.

blackcat02

Generic perfume smell on my skin. Mostly musky florals. Tiny bit of vanilla/almond. Boring to me. A good smell but probably not full size worthy for me.

RioRio11

This smells better than Love Don’t Be Shy. I get a fruit loop vibe from it as well. It smells more gourmand than it does floral. Very sweet beautiful fragrance. I ended up spraying some of this over Noir Aphrodisiaque. I cannot stop smelling my wrists. But it’s lovely all by its self. Very feminine but a well dressed tailor made man can definitely pull it off. It’s crazy because I imagined Love Don’t Be Shy would smell like this but it’s not even close. And it’s a scent that I think would fair well in all seasons. Especially fall and winter because it’s so sweet. Definitely a night time scent. But I wear it in the day time as well.

Angelzq

Very almondy in the beginning. Right after, it settles into a cookie scent, with occasional whiffs of florals. It is a sweet, soft and feminine scent with a powdery quality.
I sold my bottle as I didn't like to smell like a cookie. Also, the longevity and projection are quite poor for the price.

yeesa_

its very soft and sweet but doesnt project much for the price.. pass

East River Pearl

Somehow this scent reads as very fruity to me even though it isn't in the listed notes. It reminds me somewhat of a more floral Armani Si Passione. Elegant, inoffensive, but on my skin it doesn't read as anything special.

alkelpie

Idk…. It’s like a light version of Good girl OG. Don’t get me wrong, it’s sweet, feminine sexy perfume, but not for the Killian price range :( not a dupe for the good girl, but similar vibe and this is little bit toned down. Beautiful, but I’m not impressed.

Lolapoop

God has created a woman-sweet ,romantic ,sooo sexy at times ,and that woman has moods depending on (!) personal calendar . That;s what this fragrance is . Sensual ,sexual , disturbing at times perfectly blended woman in the bottle . PMD .

Cherry_Darling

I am actually impressed with this one - rare for a kilian. Very iris dominated, lots of musk and amberette. Almond there too thankfully not play doh but a more dry, grainy, true almond. A little wafery even. A touch creamy but no distinct tuberose. Not really sweet thankfully, although probably just comparitively as I tried Love which is a sugarbomb. Nice one from kilian, hits the niche mark.

Ilikewhatilike

I’m a fan. I’ve come back to test this a few times, like an addicting tracker beam that locked onto me form the first sniff. Kilian fragrances seem to work well with my skin chemistry, so there are few bangers I really enjoy (STH, LV, VOTR, GK, SW).

Im a guy that doesnt usually mind feminine leaning fragrance, though tuberose is a tricky tricky for me. Here it is perfectly blended for my tastes, working well with the almost and milky notes. It’s comfortable and extroverted, without being loud or obnoxious. It is fresh enough to wear all year seasons. I love the way the milky note comes across. Similar to the authenticity I get in sacred wood. Almond smells natural as well. Bottle is snazzy, atomiser is boss.

Longevity? It left me satisfied when I’ve used it. I don’t see how everyone expects every scent profile to be able to have monster longevity. And if you have the stamina to roll in love for more than 5 hours, then power to you.

Pricing? I wish people keep their opinions to themselves. Value is personal and based on too many unique variables that a random persons option doesn’t mean anything. We don’t ‘need’ any of these scents, but we all seem willing to pay to make ourselves feel special. So if it makes you feel alive, and you enjoy it, and can afford it, then spend as you will :)

jayznar

When I sampled Rolling in Love in Holts, I did not give it a fair chance because I was smelling many perfumes. I truly could not smell really any body, it smelt very musky and slightly sweet but extremly underwhelming especially for niche pricing.

I got Oakcha's dupe "Hymn For You" for my birthday and it sooooo delicious and extremely easy to wear. It's giving me a very creamier version of Good Girl and Armani Code Cashmere vibes (one of my fav perfumes). It is not linear either! It starts off with a blast of fresh sweetened florals and then settles into something much creamier with the almond, iris and vanilla kicking in. I can actually smell this unlike the actual Killian.
The creamyness is actually really sexy. It is giving cozy date night in vibes. It's giving uber eats and cuddles.

I layered this with BDK Rouge Smoking ....... hooooly smokes people HOLY SMOKES. Sex. Period THANK ME LATERRRR !!!!!

Perfumehun

I love this perfume but it’s such a shame it does not last and no one can ever smell it on me, for the price point it really does need to perform better.

GinkgoLeaf

I had to wear this many times before I could put my thoughts together for a review. I’ll start by admitting the staying power is on the weaker end, and I didn’t find it had a powerful projection. When you can smell it, it’s intoxicatingly sweet earth, fruity, and complex. It smells to me almost like uncorking an expensive bottle of icewine or sweet muscat grape candy.

Cookietookie215

Received a sample from Sephora and I have to say i it smells similar to Rihannas’s Nude fragrance. I will skip on this one.

TaylorKloss

I always try to put my perfume reviews in simple terms. So in simple terms, this perfume smells very synthetic. Initially there is a sweet cherry top note which is pleasant, but once it goes away the dry down is not pleasant. It just has a heavy feeling to it, nothing sharp or sticking out, just a muddled mess of aromachemicals. It smells like a mixture of carpet and super synthetic scented grape smell. I much prefer MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait for the almond.

AlinkaSun

This perfume was gifted to me on my birthday. After wearing for some time I don’t know for sure if I would buy it myself…
I love Brand Kilian and I usually like most of their creations. This is one has quite interesting composition, nice notes but on my skin it smells way different than on the blotter.
It opens up as straight unsweetened almond milk with some vanilla flavoring and ambrette seeds…
I am not huge fan of this scent to be honest, I think it needs some more sweet notes or maybe a little bit of sourness…it’s just very bland to me
As it dries down, I start to like it more…I start to pick up more flower notes, tonka bean and musk which adds a bit more “flavor” to the almond milk…
Overall, it’s nice scent, unique and very feminine and delicate. It’s very smooth and creamy, and performance is up there. It lasts for 6-8 hours and projects within arm length.
Definitely ask for a sample and wear it before buying! Wear on skin! No blotter! This can turn in costly mistake if blind buying.
BUT I have a tip for people who have it and look for ways to spice this almond milk up :) I combine Rolling in Love with MFK Oud Satin Mood and it works like magic!
Almond milk softens up sharpens of oud and create a beautiful harmony.

steph.cunliffe

I don’t get the comparison to CH Good Girl. Good girl is so much stronger and better in my opinion and way more affordable. I barely smell this perfume on myself and don’t think it smells like much tbh. To me for the poor projection and longevity it’s not worth the money

mahi 86

To me i smelled it in holy renfrew it lasted for hours got the full bottle and I can’t smell it anymore tried it again and what I can get is good girl by CH

emjh

I've no idea why but this smells like a slightly sweeter, smoother and slighty creamy Alien on me. Alien is too loud on me, but this I can rock. I actually really do like it, I think it smells beautiful. I would buy it if it was the price for 100ml. But for 50ml I just can't justify what is basically £200, double my upper budget, especially since this is now not an independent brand but is owned by Estee Lauder

anncka

I had it and I let this one go thinking it was too much for me.. So when I was preparing my closet for cooler weather today, I caught a sniff of it on a sweater that I wore in February.. Now I regret it so much! I need to bring this back, it is so so good!

JelenaS90

This perfume is sooo beautiful.😍 I had to buy it.💸 The almond scent at the opening is so good, you can't get enough of it. And when the almond disappears, a beautiful floral scent remains. However, the truth is that it doesn't last long on the skin, it lasts about 4 hours on me and that really annoys me, because I want it to last all day. It must be reapplied several times if you want a longer effect.😕

Ceekel

Rolling in Love was a pleasant surprise for me . It's a sweet Flora Almond and Vanilla joy. I heard some reviews some good and bad. When I tried it, it was a Love for me got several compliments. This also ld

LanaDelSlay

Love this perfume but for 200 bucks the longevity is lacking

LanaDelSlay

Smells incredible. Almond milk is really prominent but it’s not nauseating

ravenna

If you're like me and very sensitive to scents that smell like root beer (BDK Rouge Smoking, Givenchy L'Interdit Rouge, etc), avoid this. Rolling In Love is more creamy from the almond and not fizzy, but that root beer/cola sugariness is very much there. Candylike but a little overdone.

She's sweet and flirtatious, not mysterious and sexy. Performs far better in warmer weather than in cold.

Happypiggy84

I get a very bitter dry note that lasts throughout. There is some sweetness that occasionally peeks through but it's few and far between. I love it when that bit of sweetness shines through. I am testing this in cold weather (10C). A friend told me that this blooms better in slightly warmer weather but not above 25C. Will have to test again in spring because I really want to love this one - the red bottle is gorgeous *cry*

Edit: tested this again in warmer weather (spring 20+C) and it is absolutely lovely! That bitter almond note is gone. It’s creamy and sweet but fresh. It like a luxurious body lotion smell. I loved it and purchased a full bottle right away. This was one that got me plenty of compliments in the office too 😄 #win

FieryG

Pleasant gourmand scent. After the first sniff my first thoughts - almond cookie. Later it develops in to more notes, but still almond is the main character in this perfume.
Really recommend for almond lovers! :)

likesleet

loveeee . fruity sweet vanillia opening with soft almond drydown

AlaskanAngel

Smooth like butter.

Lcprickett

I’m obsessed with this one. Creamy floral musk with a hint of powder. Very luxurious and just makes you feel seductive. For me this smells how old hollywood looks.

Ladifree

Smells like Xerjoff Italica on my skin but a little more sharp

nordhaul

It’s not *that* powdery, there’s a hint
of Delicious spice in here. Mouth 🤤
Watering. Inoffensive but lovely in a
most truest sense. Appropriate for
school or for work (not if you’re The
boss but subordinates, yes). She’s a
Convenient reach-for since she isn’t
Expensive-smelling or too remarkable
(& I agree, The opening is DELIRIOUS
I wish it were The part that lasts), alas
she is just a tad remarkable indeed ♥️
EDIT: The drydown!!! Reminds me of
Antonia’s Flower’s Tiempe Passate!! 🤪

Chesco

Almond Milk + a light Tuberose Floral + Ambrette (Musk Mallow) that gives it a musky-spicy-buttery scent + Green Leaf + a touch of Vanilla Candle + a hint of almost undetectable powdery Iris + sweetness from Tonka Bean + a hint of Cherry + addicting Barley + and maybe a hint of Poppy Floral?

This is inspired by Xerjoff 'Italica', and Jo Malone then copied Rolling in Love with their 'Scarlet Poppy' fragrance.
Picture both of those frags had a baby and that's what you get with 'Rolling in Love' dna.

The Iris plays a supporting role to add an additional layer to the dna, and not really meant for appreciating the individual note.
This is the rare case i prefer Jo Malone's 'Scarlet Poppy' over a Killian.
Scarlet is lighter for Spring season and hotter day use, more delicious & addicting Barley, more green refreshing, more Vanilla, more delicious Butter Cookie - AND you get double the amount of juice AND it's cheaper!
Rolling in Love's star note that you don't find within the other 2 fragrances mentioned, is that delicious Almond Milk.

4/5 Woofs

bunnymusk

Powdery and pleasant vanilla floral. Inoffensive to the point of near obscurity. She’s pretty, but forgettable; a face you’ve seen many times but can’t quite recall. The general smell of a ladies fragrance counter at any department store.

felised

Starts off with a VERY strong almond note, it reminds me of the bitter almond cookies my mom would buy from a bakery when I was growing up. In the drydown the almond transitions into a very warm and sweet floral. I enjoy this one a lot more in the drydown, like I said the almond opening smells like something I'd want to eat, not really something I want to smell like.

As someone who's not really a gourmand fan I don't love this enough to buy a full bottle but I like it enough to keep wearing the sample that I have. Also it lasted an eternity on my hand, some have complained about longevity issues here but my experience was quite the opposite. I don't know what batch my sample is from.

Canadabear

This is such a beautiful scent; pity it doesn't last long and is so expensive. I would have bought this one happily otherwise. 😒

gurle94

This smells delicious. A sweet, milky gourmand that becomes very floral on the drydown. Unfortunately, it's gone in a couple of hours. I would expect better performance from such an expensive fragrance. If not for the longevity I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I don't find it similar to good girl, it's closer to scarlett poppy

strawberrystar

I was reluctant to try this fragrance, my second Kilian fragrance, as I sadly hate Love, Don't Be Shy with passion because of the coriander note which is all I smell on my skin.
Well I juste tried a sample of Rolling in Love and it is beautiful. A beautiful floral scent. I am not sure why people voted this scent for fall and winter as I would see myself wear this in the spring and summer. Maybe the scent will evolve and I will change my mind. But at least I like it for now.

This is crazy beautiful. The more I try it, the more I like it. Also the longevity is amazing on me, it lasts an eternity. As for the projection, it sits quite close to the skin, but I read on Kilian's website that this scent is a "cocoon" so I think this was intentional? Anyway I love it. Unfortunately, my sample will run out soon.
One thing that scares me after reading many comments saying that the longevity is bad is that it will happen to me too after I buy a full bottle. What if I buy that expensive bottle and the longevity and performance are not as great as what I experienced with my sample? I am still thinking about it.

AlaskanAngel

I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW PEOPLE SAY THIS SMELLS LIKE "good girl" WHEN THAT ONE IS A PATCHOULI BOMB AND THIS HAS NO PATCHOULI AT ALL

JennyNoBull

Kilian used to be my favourite house. It’s become evident that the takeover by Estée Lauder has led to some cost cutting in concentration. In the 2010s any Kilian Fragrance I used would be rich, unctuous and the sillage was just killer.
Now I’m lucky if I get a couple of hours. Rolling in Love is no exception. A nice inclsion to the lineup but little too fruity for my liking. The almond is not as nutty as I want it to be and I don’t think the laconic notes balance the sweetness and the rich undertones that Kilian was once known for are just a memory. Like watered down booze at an All-inclusive resort. Or, like sex that you thought was going to be really really great, but the performance disappoints--but hey-- it's sex. 6/10

x.rina.x

This scent is beautiful cloud like floral-gourmand, but the strenght & sillage is really not so good. And for this price? It's quite bad.. But the scent itself is lovely. It's feather light, milk-warm, sensuelle, airy-watery ( thanks to frezia) and bit powderly( iris) tuberose on a mellow silky-musky vanilla (+almond aspect of the tonka) pillow. Combinated with that beautiful mellow almond milk+ambrette opening. ( i'm in love with any lactonic+ambrette accord xD) and yes as lot of almond note, this one has a cherry-ish side too at the very beggining. ( which makes a soft lipsticky accord with iris.) For me it's feels like waking up beside your lover, on lazy fresh but slightly dusty spring sunday morning in a bed with pulpous white silk bedding & pillows And one pillow has a cherry-lipstick stain on it, like a memorial of the sweet night. The Window is open, the spring breeze waving the curtains, and near the bed there is night table where is a vase with white flowers in it, that lipstick, powderpuffs, and a glass of almond milk with a tuberose petal.

ScentBliss555

Love this! I wish it performed better but I also love how light and airy each note performs. A more apt name would've been Dancing on Air.

Mayasuren

Super creamy, milky, nutty and slightly floral fragrance. Unfortunately, like most of my experiences with kilian perfumes the performance is lacking. Not what I’d expect from a $200+ perfume.

Spicy89

This is a perfumes that brings me such calm and joy.
It's creamy almondmilk with white florals, iris and vanilla.
Very elegant and beautiful.

Sannesans

A beautiful cherry opening (does not contain cherry btw), a bit of a sunscreen vibe in the middle and then dries down to a beautiful, rounded and sexy scent. A beautiful modest night time/date time fragrance. Worth exploring this one!

Revontuli

Rolling in something, but not sure if it's "love". I was definitely expecting a blow of sexiness by looking at that gorgeous, sleek red bottle.

I sensed something synthetic that puts me off and when I first sprayed it, I was sure that it reminded me of another fragrance. Then I scrolled forward and voilà, Paco Rabanne's Olympea! But I still don't understand how it's possible.

It's been an hour and I can detect the milky almond with some iris and vanilla accompanying. Right now, what I'm smelling is gorgeous but too close to the skin. If this was the first impression I got instead of that synthetic feeling, it would have definitely been closer to love than confusion. Right now, I cannot justify the price point of getting a full bottle. So glad that I got a tester first!

cisliev

I don't know why, but this perfume reminds me of men's perfume. I also can't smell that "powdered cherry" scent that most people get. But overall, it is a pleasant perfume. Yes, it's creamy and milky, and there's florals in it. I actually find this airy and mild. It smells extremely good, but not what you would call an extra special perfume.

Just like any other Kilian fragrance, its scent bubble is only small. Only those within arm length can smell you. In terms of longevity, it is also moderate on me. Lasts for 3-4 hours on my skin. But on clothing, it's a different story.

Scenturia

Rolling in Love is pleasant and creamy through and through. I expected something much more exciting/sexy from the red bottle. This is like milky lotion and sweet baby cuddles. Not bad but not rocking my world either.

lizzavicente

After watching some reviews about Rolling in Love I was convinced I should try this. Some claimed it was a very sensual perfume, with almost aphrodisiac powers.
My sample finally arrived, and what can I say? The opening notes smell like crushed tuberose leaves, giving up an earthy almost dirt smell. But the phase is really transient.
The fragrance matures to sweet almond milk infused with vanilla and Tonka beans. This is creamy and inviting.
The dry down and final notes are powdery, revealing a stronger musk accord.
Overall this juice delivers sensuality. It is not a killer, it is rather a warm embrace that develops into tender love.
I am beyond disappointed with the performance of this beautiful perfume. It's longevity is so short and all the glory disappears in about 1 hour.

loveleen

To my nose, this starts off as a milky almond fragrance. After an hour it turns into a white floral that reminds me of Alien.

Repogirl

I bought this blind because I LOVE JM Scarlet Poppy and read that it was very similar... they are not even close to the same league IMO. There are similarities but Scarlet Poppy is soooo much better in every way. There is a note in this that I cannot quite pinpoint but smells almost medicinal and synthetic and I don't care for it. Too much iris maybe? It is that single note and quantity used that is a misstep in this scent. Overall it's just OK to me, a basic scent; nothing spectacular or mind-blowing IMO and for the price it should WOW me a bit more. I am continually underwhelmed by Killian's scents. :(

fragrancechamp

This was an immediate instant love for me. This is the kind of almond I love. I personally found Italica by Xerjoff too dry, whereas this is creamy and uplifting.

Despite what I’m reading about poor longevity and performance, this lasts a decent while on my skin and projects really well. It goes on heavy and seems to stay that way for at least 5 hours. I’m a male, and florals (mainly tuberose) seem to work really well with my skin chemistry, and I think the combination of musks used really helps it to perform well and stick around.

This is definitely my next Kilian purchase.

lampard77

this smells just like JUICY COUTURE WOMAN EDP when you spray it.

the dry down a bit different as this Kilian have a bit cherry-ish vibe….. but this smells lovely.
but when you want the Dupe, just buy Juicy Couture :)

Anthonyyy

this perfume, every time I tried it gave me a horrible headache. I don't know exactly which note caused it but it was awful, even though as a first sniff its not that bad

KindaQuirkee

Gosh I enjoy this. Unfortunately it lasts about four hours and doesn’t seem to project much BUT the almond is really to die for and is presented perfectly - not marzipan-y or too sweet, not syrupy like Hypnotic Poison. I wouldn’t buy a FB of this though because I feel like TF Lost cherry takes the same place of it in my fragrance collection and that lasts longer and projects more. I will say that my boyfriend smelled this (maybe, or my laundry detergent) and liked it after 8 hours. It eventually fades to a somewhat powdery and strange dry down and then turns into marshmallows.

emreeryilmaz

I'm surprised it doesn't have raspberries in it. Into the warm almond milk; It smells as if the puree of red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries has been added and kept waiting. It reminds me of hot milk made from red berries. Immediately after squeezing, notes similar to red fruits are revealed and milky almonds reveal themselves. At the end of the day, only the vanilla note remains.

It stays on the fabric for about 6 hours, after which only the scent of vanilla is felt. It disappears on the skin within the first 3 hours. The spread rate is less than half a meter in 2 hours.

The Wolf

Ultra smooth creaminess of almonds and cream mixed sweet florals and musk. GF loves it.

I watched an interesting interview in which Kilian Hennessy said that there's 7 different types of musk in the base. Whatever they used, it's nearly perfect. Decent projection and good longevity.

A bit too feminine for me to wear, but don't sleep on this one.

boolinbilly

Smooth, creamy, and milky. If you love that then you'll love this

Idismee

I just don’t have any luck with almond scents. I wanted to love this. I wanted to wear red lingerie and roll around in bed and feel like the Queen of Hearts with this on. At first spray, the lactonic almond and musk punched me right in the spleen. I waited, but it only developed into a synthetic play-doh almond that gave me what felt like acid-reflux after an hour of wearing it. I’m still so angry that this one didn’t work out. It’s so well-loved by many.

Midnightbloom

Valentino Donna Born in Roma + YSL Libre = Killian Rolling in Love

Lavandermilk

When I first sprayed I could get the creamy almond and a lot of musk. It reminded me first a lot of Prada candy night, which is musk heavy with sweet caramel and dark chocolate, its very similar but a little lighter. Now it smells so much like Good Girl. I can barely tell the difference, which is a slightly still discernible almond note.

I do like this, the almond musk combo is delicious, lovely, and a little sexy, but I would never buy it when this turns into good girl after an hour on my skin.

ParadaJ

marianna.0205

I have a full bottle of woman in gold, that I would trade for rolling in love. Text me if you are interested :)

fanntonyoscar

Maybe I need to give this one another chance at a later date. As of now, I don’t like it because it pulls too much tuberose on my skin. I don’t really get much else.

mandyads

Main notes: almond milk, tuberose, iris

In the opening, I get pure almond milk and marzipan from this. It’s really indulgent, but also very gentle. The top allows the tuberose and iris to do a dance, turning into sweet bubblegummy make-up scent… eventually leaning even heavier on the compact-smelling iris. A very unique scent with a very Play-doh texture to it, becoming powdery-er as it dries down. Though I like it, I’m not sure when I’d wear it. Probably intimate setting only being that the projection quickly settles closer towards the skin. I have a 7.5ml travel vial and I know I would never buy this as a full bottle. It’s unique, but such a mild scent that it’s not worth the price point. I would have to be very snuggled up for someone else smell it, but most importantly… I can’t get too many whiffs of it on myself without over spraying.

Update: I ordered a sampler set from Alexandria Fragrances and they included their rendition "Drooling in Love." I can honestly say it smells great! However, it is tuberose heavy where Rolling in Love is almond-heavy. This difference is stark enough for Drooling in Love not to be a true dupe. I would think they were different fragrances if I was blind sniffing. To be honest, I think Drooling in Love reminds me of Carolina Herrera Good Girl (which I always want to like, but just can't for whatever reason). It smelled so familiar when I first sprayed it. I saw that people say Rolling in Love reminds them of Good Girl, but I think not so much. Again... maybe they are cousins, but not similar. (I take that back a tad... deep into the heart they are similar, but not a 1:1)
