I only tested this fragrance once on a tester strip and the scent reminded me of YSL Libre.
I'm sure it smells different on skin but on paper, it did not meet my expectations.
It's not a bad smell but I was expecting more and definitely something more unique and niche.
Beautiful bottle but something tells me you're just paying for that and the name, possibly.

Review below mine! Spot on! Thank you for figuring out what it was the Delina reminds me so much of. Pink lemonade through and through. Initially when I first tested her in Nordstrom I was rather let down, as i tend to be with most radically overhyped fragrances, but decided to give her another chance and bought a decant. I find myself liking this more and more with each wear. Is it worth the price? In my opinion, no simply because there are so many dupes at this point there has to be one out there close enough for much less. I do not embody the essence that Delina gives, but for someone who does, she’s worth it.

pinkavocado

I finally remember what Delina remind me of. There is drink called Fentimas Rose lemonade i used to mix with gin. It smells same. I am starting to like Delina more and more each time i wear it.

Myrtillajus

What can I say about Delina, a wonderful rose, beautifully crafted by ( oh yes, I repeat, my favorite nose) Quentin Bisch.
Fresh and spring-like, with a slightly zesty trait that makes it vibrant and never boring, sensual and rich at the same time.
Of the three Delinas, it is definitely my favorite, in short this rose that I consider fresh and new I prefer it in the classic version.
On the wishlist.
"Delft jar with flowers" painted by Cezanne.

It smells like a soap my parents used to buy when i was a child in the nineties. Probably rose soap by the brand 'Fa'. It's pretty nostalgic and very long lasting, but i think it's not that special.

Eenemeene

Beautiful fragrance that smells like turkish delights. Is it worth the crazy high price point tho? Probably not, unless you're really into luxury and rose smells.

toodaloo

Rose perfumes are not unique and neither is this scent as there are many. I would say it is mostly the presentation and the bottle design that really sells it.

heartbeam

No one could ever make me hate Delina. This is my perfect rose perfume; the gold standard. Sweet, fresh, feminine, a bit tart. This fragrance alone kickstarted my rose obsession and semi-casual perfume hobby. I guess the two gripes I have with Delina is that it’s stupid expensive and that it’s a bit overdone now, which is just the inevitable fate of all famous perfumes. I also get the most compliments and get asked what I’m wearing whenever I use this!

Jazminerenault

It smells like a summer fling that ended right before school was suppose to start. The relationship that only last three months and ends when it’s suppose too. You leave it happy you were in it and wish them well but still long for them. To me the rhubarb was way too strong although it does smell refreshing I wanted this to be more floral more sweet not as fresh. It does last a long time on skin but when it dries it’s less floral. I could name 10 better floral fragrances off the top of my head. It’s different being it’s not just straight floral there’s not another scent I’ve smelt like this. I can’t see me growing to love this or rebuying it just something I’m wearing when im going on a date with someone that Im not sure why I’m going on a date but I’ll look back and say I was just bored that day. Would be a hit at the bingo table.

AnniePruana

What is the hype about, this is one of my least favorite fragrances (thankfully didn't get a FB) something just awful about it, the nutmeg note is a surprise but I usually like the smell of nutmeg. This is a fragrance gone wrong.

jow012

Personally, I believe this house got the hype because of how beautiful the bottles are. They MAKE you want to add it all to your collection. Are any of the scents from Parfums de Marley unique and niche enough for the price point? Honestly, I would say no. They are pretty mass appealing scents.

But what they do very well is appeal to many people with effortless blends. I do have to admit that their scents are all still great and seem effortless. Almost none give me a headache which is so rare for me, and they actually last. Delina especially, I can't seem to think anyone would ever dislike it! Even if it's not unique - If everyone likes it, that still means it's a fantastic perfume. Having the most beautiful bottles is a plus. I wish that tassel was on the masculine line too.

What I would say if you are thinking of getting this (since it is so expensive): what's most important is that you yourself love your perfume and you believe it reflects you. If you are willing to spend a lot on a high quality perfume, this is a delightful fruity rosy and feminine perfume that I can't see you regretting. It has a timeless quality to it. Id bet money that most people would continue to repurchase Delina specifically because it's so pleasant.

deed-mealier.0q

I just don't understand the hype around Delina. To me, it's a sharp, screechy scent that assaults the senses in an unrelenting way. The rhubarb note is really prominent in an unpleasant way (think, English school dinners circa 1975) and as for the rose, it's completely destroyed in this concoction. Not that I don't like rose - I do - but Kayali's Elixir 11 does it so much better and for a lot less dollars as well. I would say, this is NOT a safe blind buy. Nauseating. A real scrubber. 🤮

StringerSmell

Smells like a lighter, female version of TF Noir De Noir

sononswife

i love delina but she is so expensive ;-;. if you love sweet feminine fragrances then this is easily blind buy worthy imo. i wish i could wear this everyday! but i use her sparingly so that i can make the bottle last . i wear this when i want to feel pretty.

9512017jf

angelic smelling . Any woman wearing this is dangerous

anna-fie

Rhubarb note is very prominent

Bijousmere

Applied the entire sample vial on neck and decollete before bed last night after my shower. I smelled very feminine and girly, fresh and clean. When I got into bed I just loved how cozy it was and I fell asleep imagining sleeping on a bed of roses. Perfectly modern (not old lady rose perfume) and delightfully inoffensive. WORTH THE HYPE :) Beautiful.

laurenruth

Delina is one of the indispensable items in my collection. It smells perfect. You leave behind such a silage that everyone asks the name of your perfume. It is one of the perfumes I will always buy. 10/10!!!!!

Ghost13

I don’t know what it is about Delina that everyone raves over. It’s nice yes, but I personally like delina la rosee better even cassili, meliora, and valaya to my nose smell better and more refined. Delina just doesn’t hit the mark for me. I feel like it’s been duped so many times too and has somewhat of a designer dna especially after owning a bottle of very good girl before ever knowing about delina. I just don’t get it. Again I think it’s a very pretty perfume but it’s not anything special. Rhubarb as a note is always pungent and done wrong in my opinion, and it feels like litchi is the new hot note replacing cherry with how may perfumes have it- and again in all honesty- it smells sour in everything I’ve tried with it. The perfumers try to make it a new special never done before note and it really just isn’t that secret ingredient it used to be.

chanelgirl

At first spritz, this smells like a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. It dries down to this gorgeous powdery rose, and you can smell the tartness of the rhubarb. I leave a trail of fresh flower petals as I walk by people. This is a crowd-pleaser and will grab compliments everywhere you go. It smells so elegant.

EauDeLa

Roses with berries and cream on a bed of plastic babydoll skin (which they call "marshmallow"). This is the kind of fragrance that would have been found in a child's Christmas gift cosmetics set 30 years ago or in a glass strawberry bottle made by Avon. Perhaps its wild popularity is due to rampant nostalgia and the bleak times we find ourselves in. This is an uplifting, young, and fun scent that is best described as girly. It lacks sophistication and could easily be marketed as an Ariana Grande scent (which contain a lot of plastic doll/marshmallow). Packaging is certainly top notch, in line with its steep price. The darling pink bottle makes me happy just sitting there. Bottom line, though it is very nice, I do not think this one is worth the steep price tag. It isn't groundbreaking juice but lovely to own at a deep discount.

Baroqu3

Delina! Delina! In my top 10 for life perfumes and I hope they don’t discontinue it.
Delina was love at first sniff for and there’s no other rose perfume quite like this queen of roses!
In the opening I get the litchi and rhubarb but it’s not sharp or tangy.
It’s the most beautiful, light, dewy, pink and white rose mixture that is oh so feminine and modern. If you are scared of roses because you associate it with grandma or think it’s like rose water or tea rose then don’t worry because this is a pretty princess that is young, sweet, addictive and charming.
The nutmeg and vanilla now joins the walls in the mid coupled with the litchi, bergamot and rhubarb.
It is such a stunning delicious scent without being food like that lingers to the dry down as it gets more sweeter and it’s so smooth with nutmeg, peony and cashmere that it warm but not spicy.

The vanilla is sweet and warm and oh so feminine, elegant yet alluring.
This is easily 11/10 and i would recommend it as it’s perfect for leaving the most delicious scent trail and does it garner compliments.
The great thing is that all the dupes are of the exclusive version and I can always tell the difference as delina original is very hard to dupe. None of the below mentioned perfumes smells like it, they are just rose perfumes. Delina is in a league of her own.
I have only seen one dupe that managed to recreate this to a close 95% and it’s not listed below.
If you have your pretty princess days get this!
I’m almost out and will be unto bottle 2.

ambervxyjul

The prettiest rose perfume and I typically don’t like rose notes. It’s ultra feminine and I feel put together when putting her on. I go between this and exclusif often depending on my mood. I do love both just the same but lean more often for the og. It’s a beautiful signature worthy scent as well. It truly is the best rose fragrance and nothing can beat it! I don’t like their “la rose” version. Delina is the best.

gina_jg

It used to be my signature scent until people started wearing dupes of it. It’s a very pretty girl scent, great for spring. A great compliment getter from both men and women but it seems they can only smell it when they’re near me.

LKV

If dust and powdered rose had a baby, it would be this.

Graciegrace

Smells good, fresh, but not really a signature despite being very expensive. I like the Delina Exclusif better, it has better hold for the roundness and longevity to me.

maddieonline

This is beautiful - I actually must prefer this to Exclusif. It is a juicy, tart rose fragrance and I definitely pick up lychee and rhubarb. The projection is insane (although unfortunately, so is the price point.) In a weird way, it reminds me of Rose Jam by Lush. I love this, but I don't think I can justify buying a bottle at this price point!

archerries

A short-lived burst of citrus (bergamot) followed by an overwhelmingly tart, rosy, rhubarb scent. I'm finding it difficult to detect notes other than the intensive rhubarb. There is some greenness to it. Girlish, fruity and sour. I don't know what to make of this but it's definitely unique.

Lollingtonpop

This smells too close to Stella by Stella McCartney to justify ever buying this again. Save yourself a fortune and grab a bottle of Stella instead.

JasmineSky

It's been over a year and I still cannot stand this fragrance. My nose has matured as I've explored more and more niche and designer perfumes, but still, this gives me a migraine every single time. It is SO sharp. I'm amazed so many people love it. As far as rose fragrances this is not it. And I love rose, I use rose oil and dried petals regularly. THAT being said, Delina Excusif is much better, brighter, and more uplifting! So of you can stand the OG try Exclusif.

TheBombayBrunette

A rose fragrance unlike any other, Delina was the reason I bought the PdM discovery set. The creator is my favourite, Quentin Bisch, who has created the fragrance I'm obsessed with, Guidance. Delina is like a gigantic bouquet of pink roses and peonies, or even like a pretty young princess who sees life through rose tinted glasses. It is a delightful and cheerful fragrance (at least to my nose) and even if you don’t like rose based fragrances, chances are you’ll really like this one.

Olenchyk

I love roses, but would have never thought of getting myself a rose perfume until I smelled, loved, and bought Fleur Musc by Narciso Rodriguez, which I repurchased several times (discontinued now). That one made me think I love rose perfumes, but I tried and completely disliked TF Rose Prick and Rose Magnetic by Essential Perfumes. In most other perfumes with rose notes in the mix, I can barely detect it.

Delina is the first rose note comes very close to Fleur Musc for me, and is likeable for the same reasons. In fact, it's not just rose, it's the rose-peony-musc combo, in both. I sprayed both on different wrists and keep comparing a few hours on - both clean, pure, unsweetened rose-peony, very, very similar and I am really surprised noone has suggested this comparison before. But I still slightly prefer the Fleur Musc - it's ever so slightly purer and gentler. AND quite a bit less pricey (if you find it online in your country).

To be sure, both are lovely scents for spring and summer, I always got compliments when I wore Fleur Musc in the office. Both have good projection, silage and longevity. In both perfumes, it's a photorealistic rose, making you feel like you're in an actual rose-peony garden, and not like you smeared some rose oil on top of your perfume.

very nice just a notch of downgrade for the price tag

smile4thecamera

Everyone seems to love this one, but I find it Turkish rose and that's about it. I like rose perfumes but I'd never pay their price for a FB of this one. Yea, the bottle is great, but seriously there are other, more interesting rose perfumes out there that don't cost what this one does. I'm glad I tried it, but easy pass for me.

tangerun

Light and sweet, balances on the border of being adoringly youthful and a bit tedious. Interesting rose—simultaneously sharply green and tea-sweet. Reminds me of a rose garden with occasional other flowers on a windy summer day.

morgancodywood

Unfortunately I found this to be extremely overhyped. It smells granny to me. I came back to this scent over and over again throughout the past year and still can't smell what people seem to be raving about. Pass for me.

Shellyscents

For reference: Official spray sample used from PDM.
I wore this today and asked my mom what she thought. She got close to my wrist and wrinkled her nose. Apparently this smells like powdery old lady! Hahaha! The Delina die-hards would clutch their pearls right now! I asked her to smell it 2x more as it progressed and the 2nd time she smelled it, it apparently got better but she still decided on powdery old lady. I asked her to smell this because yesterday I wore Delina Exclusif for Easter and I wanted her to compare the 2. Well she complimented me the 1st time I ever wore DE but yesterday she said she couldn't smell me (but she can only smell really strong odors or faint ones really up close). So i sprayed Delina Ex on the card and let it dry and she said that it was less powdery and she liked it more than the other one (Delina). To me Delina has a nice juicy opening but the nutmeg is odd to me (I dont think I like it) especially since next I smell peony (a note that I dislike). The base to me is not super incensey (the Delina candle smells to me like a high quality fruity rose incense- just fantastic) but is more a soapy sweet vetiver.
P.S. my mom is in her 50s and is not a perfumehead. She had never heard of Delina before i made her smell it and doesn't have social media to hear about it.

lesritesdelavie

On paper I should theoretically adore this fragrance. I love rose, powdery rose, peony, vetiver. Should love it. But this does not smell like rose to me and the "powdery" part comes off more like dusty. Instead on rose I get sweet vanilla. Dusty vanilla.
The bottle looks cool for sure 😁

Isabella Therese

Disclaimer: When I bought Delina, several years ago, I didn't know it was going to be so hyped. I don't have TikTok and at the time I had only heard one person on Youtube talk about it (and they just said it was a "pretty fragrance", that's it). I looked at the notes, found them to be interesting, bought a sample and liked it so much that I ended up buying a bottle. I didn't buy it just because someone hyped it up. Since a lot of people seem to think that people only like Delina because of the hype, I felt the need to clarify that it's not the case for me.
So, here's my review:
I don't know why this is always referred to as a rose scent, because it's a fruit explosion with a creamy base to my nose, and I also get way more peony than rose. Delina is tart, fruity and creamy. Without doubt a summer fragrance. To me one of the strongest notes here is elderflower, which is a little weird since it's not in there. I also get the litchi and the rhubarb, and on my skin it's not sour at all. Delina is a little floral too, but this is first and foremost a fruity fragrance. Much more complex that your usual fruity floral. It's a grown up version of a fruity summer fragrance. It smells elegant and expensive. Delina is very powerful, lasts for more than 12 hours on my skin and lasts forever on clothes (until you wash them). Strong projection too, a little goes a long way. It's expensive, but since you don't need to overspray you get a lot of bang for your buck. I only wear Delina in the summer (and maybe late spring), so I still have a lot of juice left in my 30 ml bottle. Wearing Delina always makes me happy. Quentin Bisch really is a great perfumer! 9.5/10.

KatiaMarie

What other people call the sharp notes is, to me, a nutmeg bomb with a cedar fuse. The opening is all nutmeg and berry, reminds me of cranberry cider at Christmas. Then slowly the rose rises above the nutmeg, but I'm such a nutmeg hater that it was not enough to make it smell*good*. I much prefer La Rosee, and I would probably layer that with Exclusive to get the Delina without the spice. I tried this alongside the B layered dupe for Delina called First Kiss, and I honestly liked that a little bit more. It had less nutmeg going on, and the dry downs were so similar. It would be hard for me to pay $300 more for Delina.

Goldena35

Am I crazy or do I pick up aldehydes in this?

cloudk

This is so pretty, its very fruity and floral. I really like the ever so slight powdery-ness of this. It's very beautiful and fruity, sweet, but not to the point where it's too sweet. Not as sweet as a gourmand dessert/fruity perfume. It is balanced well with the floral notes. I want to own a full size of this perfume.

LaUna

I was looking forward trying this out, after reading reviews. Also, in accordance with notes, this is along the lines of my liking.
It starts as classy rose, somehwat candied, rhubarb and litchi possibly. Litchi goes well with a rose as a combo notes.
Intro for me is an expensive rose.
Soon enough it turns quite spicy, incense and cedar. Reminds me of Flowerbomb perfume, like a very similar version of it. This one is for a classy dance night out and Flowerbomb for a nightclub, to somewhat differentiate.
There's nothing pastel rosey pink about this perfume.
This is darker spicier rose.
Good projection and lasts 6 or more hours.

sweetlolly333

Its meh for all the hype influencers are making it to be. It is neither groundbreaking nor is it "its own scent" something I had never smelt before. I can assure you if you'd been to the Middle East this is a very common scent of rose water and Oud. It is also not that addictive, It is okay.

MistyDayyy

I genuinely can’t believe that this perfume is what everyone has been going crazy for. I was so disappointed. The notes initially looked promising, but no. All I smelled was rose, powder, and musk. Not a fresh rose, but one that’s slightly wilted. Another note causes it to smell very sharp, but I can’t pinpoint which one. This is very much so a granny/mature perfume. If I had to come with an analogy, this would be the perfume a strict, slightly mean grandma that you hate visiting would wear rather than one a cozy, comforting grandma would wear… if that makes sense lol. This is definitely not a safe blind buy and nowhere near sexy like some people claim.

KateAnette

Was curious about the hype, so blind bought the set of 3.
They all smell more or less like rose soap.
They're nice, and I'll be wearing them all, but way overhyped and -priced.

Wazakauye

I love it. It's my favorite perfume to date. Everything about it pleases my senses.
The only thing I don't like is the price but that's a me problem 😂
I think it's okay priced. Got the 30ml version.

nassiesamou

I really wanted to love this so bad because rose is my favorite note, and the bottles are so gorgeous, but I honestly do not like this at all. The rose in this smells like it's dusty and withering. It's paired with an incredibly sour, vegetal rhubarb and underripe litchi. On my skin, I also pick up a lot of the incense. This perfume is really screechy and bitter, and I hate to say it, but its overwhelmingly powdery nature gives it that distinct "old lady" vibe... When I first sprayed it, I was genuinely confused. I'm convinced that if the bottles weren't as pretty as they are, Delina wouldn't be nearly as popular as it is online. If you're looking for a sweet vanilla-rose or juicy fruity-floral, please look elsewhere or at least sample before buying!!

Løpasdfkdf

This is a perfum for those who likes roses.... if you dont like kind of bitter roses this is not for you.

This is not a grandma roses fragrance. This is a modern rose with a twist of bitternes from the rhubarb and litchi. Its delicate, very feminin, a god girl scent. It could be a firma perfume if you want it so. It pass for every ocassion but i think in very warm weather could be too much.

Its long lasting but not too long sillage. Its kind of expensive.

Ayshin

Nooo please no i just waste my $300 on a fragrance that cause me headache
This smell like adult version of kids perfume, fruity one that they sold for $10 in minimarket
This last FOREVER on my skin even after bath so if you are into this notes, go for it
I don't think this one worth $300

twinfantasy

Initial spray is VERY heavy on the rose note with a whisper of fruit/bergamot. Musk/cedar/bergamot/other florals come out more in the drydown (I didn’t pick up any nutmeg/incense ?). Rose heavy perfumes are often in danger of smelling old-lady ish, this perfume got CLOSE but manages to avoid that. Silage was fairly strong and it lasted a decent amount of time (a friend gifted me a sample so it might’ve been more concentrated). Not my personal taste and imo not worth the price but if u absolutely love rose you’ll probably like this perfume !

Khushi95

I am highly disappointed. Zero longevity and zero sillage n projection. I have a very sensitive nose but i still couldn’t smell this fragrance few minutes after I sprayed it, it became a skin scent within minutes. I own delina la rosee too and it performs quite good so i expected this to perform as well if not better.

I think I will have to spray 30-40 times to be able to even smell it. I would suggest everyone to test it on their skin as this performs different on everyone. I’m still hoping i got a bad batch or I become nose blind somehow:.although i tried la rosse again n it performs good. Lets see if this changes after few days…will update.

Update- I take it back.. turns out this scent performs poor on skin but on clothes it is long lasting. The sillage is not good with this one. I would recommend everyone to spray this on clothes or away from the nose as you can get nose blind very easily with this perfume.
Scent- 10/10
Longevity- 9/10
Sillage- 5/10

MysteriousMidna

It’s definitely still a rose scent but the other notes are also quite prominent. The fruit, nutmeg, and vanilla remind me of the fruit crisp my mom makes with vanilla ice cream. The nutmeg, vanilla, and cashmeran add a much-needed warmth. This scent is a great balance of powdery dewy florals, fresh juicy fruit, and that subtley spicy warm sweetness. If anyone’s worried about the incense, it’s suuuuuper subtle and I can only detect it because I know it’s there. The Oil Perfumery has a great dupe if you want to save a lot of money.

perfumepenatrator

didn't know it was for ladies

VirgowithLeo

I find it so screechy
:(

sofababe

Almost entirely rose. Not fresh, beautiful, living rose, but old rose. In a vase of cloudy water, going brown round the edges, ought to be in the bin rose.
The opening is bitter and dusty, I got no fruit whatsoever, then it goes straight into this weird decomposing rose.
Overpriced and overhyped.

Marli1973

I was very much looking forward to this one, just to find out smells exactly the same as Fragonard Grenade Pivoine Parfum.
Love the smell but something pretty much the same is out there for less $$$.

Dezzy_Boyz3

I was excited to try out this, it seemed like the epitome of femininity and that's exactly what I'm looking for in perfume. From its beautifully designed bottle to the delicate notes (well, maybe not the top notes lol) everything about it just seemed designed to be owned by me.

But then I got to wearing the perfume. Definitely got that sour smell everybody has been talking about in the opening. Honestly, it stank pretty badly but I was willing to wait it out. Maybe the drydown will be amazing? Like how all the reviews were saying? And, so I waited. After the hours I spent window shopping with my sister, I sniffed myself.

Rose. Simply rose.

I thought to myself, 'is this it?' I expected something more complex but I only got one note on the dry down. Does it smell nice? Yes, it's not a bad rose scent, a pretty well done one. But It's definitely not worth the $200 - $300 price tag as I've smelled similar perfumes to this before. It's probably better to buy a dupe than to be crushed with disappointment like how I was

Burgundy Jayde

I thought I would give this one a try because of good reviews by " influencer's" but this one is straight up stank on my skin. I should of known better because it has rose in it and I loathe rose scents in perfume I only like rose scent in nature. This scent also has a " peppery" note which I also dislike pepper notes and it gave me a migraine. On me it smells like dead flowers in a moldy condition.... No creaminess to it at all?! Maybe I got a bad / old sample? A huge NO for me. Very disappointed in this one because its such a lovely feminine pink bottle I was hoping to love it so I could buy a bottle but I dislike it way too much.

obsession33

I love this perfume, for me it is not that sweet as many other fragrances. I feel bitter note which make the perfume elegant and sophisticated.
Be careful with this perfume, as you smell it once, it really cause the addiction, and it will be difficult to put other perfumes afterwards because nothing smells that attractive as this one. The smell is unforgettable.
I bought this perfume as a blind buy as the shops are very far from my tiny village. So, when ordering this perfume I was very concerned regarding rhubarb note standing out more that other notes. But I was wrong- litchi note stands out more than anything.
Regarding the price tag- yes, it is worth it for 100%.

I like it more than Delina Exclusif (which is not necessarily a compliment) and less than Delina La Rosée. It still has that sweet creaminess that almost suffocates me. But it is significantly less than in Delina Exclusif. And it's less powdery (also good; I like some powder sometimes, but in Exclusif it’s too much for my taste).
I still don't like the litchi smell. I was horrified by the idea of rhubarb because sometimes it turns into something really bad on my skin (I tried it with Encelade, for example, the same perfumer I think), but here I don't really feel it, maybe it's a bit more diluted. The dry-down is a jammy rose, vanilla, and some incense. Not my kind of rose, but I’m picky with rose notes, and otherwise it seems to be a mass-appealing perfume, maybe it's just me. Good performance.

dinkleheit

Wow! This perfume is a stunner of a perfume. This smells like the ultimate pretty girly girl and is perfect for when you wanna feel done up and elegant. I have waited so long to try this and it did not disappoint. I would give this perfume a 5/5 because it's just everything. The combination of floral notes and rhubarb makes this perfume so well-balanced and delectable. This is my new favorite perfume of all time, hands down. Gorgeous.

plumtobacco

i take everything back ♡ this is amazing. finally a rose i like

i like sour smells though and to me its balanced perfectly. its one that i grew to like but kept wanting to smell

Løpasdfkdf

Rubharb and litchie here gives that bitterness to the perfume.

Very delicate, feminin, god girl scent. The rose here is not "old lady". The flowers here gives that beautiful touch.

Vanille and chasmere makes the perfum sweet and smooth.

This can be your signature perfume. Its a beast last for hours (12+).

I think it could be too much for summer. But its nice in spring... when there is still cold but the sun is showing more.

ariel5914

The transition from fruity scents to woody scents drives me crazy. Feminine floral perfume but it's not boring like the other ones

hrhalexandru6

Got my mother this for mother's day. Absolutely in love with it, and so am I. It's a lovely feminine fragrance, fruity, exactly what the name "Delina" would inspire - princess-y, bubbly, explosive personality, but also full of femininity and grace. 10/10 PDM.

Diablomoni

I really hate this dna. Smells very cheap now because of the clones. I smell it everywhere.

Forbiddenjade

Stuffy, dated smell of clove and rose. Not fresh at all, suffocating. Overhyped too, buy testers.

Had to scrub it as fast as possible but this thing clings to the skin and roars like a lion. I'll give you that, and that it gave me nausea.
Nope from me, not in a million years.

petra_ita

After all the hype around this perfume I was underwhelmed. It's a pretty and pleasant girly scent, the kind that will definitely get you compliments. It's well done, but I was expecting something truly amazing and this just isn't it. For the same kind of vibe I prefer Manakara or Lust in Paradise.

PolynesianPrincess

I am not a fan of the scent of roses, but I understand the hype for this fragrance. It's lovely IF you love the scent of roses... Parfums De Marly has not failed to impress me yet.

deshenychristelasher

I'm not gonna gaslight myself to like this perfume but i think this smells more masculine than feminine imo. Fruity, punchy. Yeah, I don't find this feminine. Works well with my skin chemistry though. I don't hate it but I don't love it. Possibly overhyped.

To Quentin Bisch
I'm so grateful to you for creating such a powdery fluffy jammy fryity spicy rose man. Please keep up the good job, keep dazzling us. You top the list of my favorite perfumers.

wondervalley666

I’d left a rave review previously, I’ve loved Delina for some time. However I’ve gotten to know her a bit better as I’ve owned her in recent months. The first time I tried Delina about 3-4 years ago, I was surprised and mesmerized by what I smelled. I remember thinking it was more of a sweet fruity citrus rose scent, and the rose petals were super realistic in a way I never encountered in a perfume before. Now fast forward to 2024 and me with my 2023 bottle—

I get a bit of citrus in the opening from the bergamot, but nothing like I remembered. I also don’t unfortunately get that photorealistic rose petal scent, though it’s still a beautiful rose scent. The most surprising is the dominant PEONY note in my bottle… I didn’t know Delina had peony in it, I could never detect it previously. I didn’t even notice the peony the first few times I wore my bottle. Then my bottle sat on my dark perfume shelf for a month or two, I uncapped it, and instant PEONY! I wore the scent, washed my shirt a week later, hung it in my laundry room to air dry, and my laundry room filled with the smell of peony, from my freshly washed shirt.

Honestly, peony is a note I avoided forever, as I survived the dirty 2000s when every girl with a spray tan, bleached streaks in her hair, and a thong sticking out of her low rise jeans bathed in obnoxious hairspray-nuclear peony scents like Bright Crystal and similar Victorias Secret dupes. However, Quentin Bisch is the only person who has ever managed to put peony in a perfume and make me like it, even kind of love it… 🤷♀️

I still love Delina. My favorite out of QBs rose scents is Hibiscus Mahajaad, hands down, as I’m a sucker for a spicy vanilla. I also love beast mode scents, as it makes me happy to smell them all day with just a few sprays, the way perfumes used to be before they started watering down fragrances. I really love Very Good Girl as it’s similar to Delina, but without the peony and with a super dose of vanilla. I haven’t tried Angel Nova yet as I’m (at the moment) boycotting L’Oréal Mugler and only buying Clarins Mugler bottles, but this is subject to change in the future.

I figured I’d add this for anyone trying to decide between some of these scents. Also, to warn any others who may be sensitive to peony, that note is dominant and persistent in Delina, even if you didn’t notice it when sampling. I wonder whether my nose grew more sensitive to nuances in perfumes over the years or if Delina was reformulated after the EU restrictions went in place? I wish I could find an early edition bottle to compare!

Smellywaterlover

Beautiful and feminine are the words that pop into my head every time I sniff this fragrance. However, this was not love at first sniff. I bought my first ever Delina bottle at Nordstrom for full price (~ $400 CAD) after being influenced so heavily by YouTube reviewers (Demi Rawling and others) back in 2019. I was convinced that I would love this immediately. I blind-bought it (I know, I know, never again), and boy was I wrong! As soon as I sprayed this on my skin, I smelled this chemical scent that I couldn't even describe. It's so artificial and chemically that I thought it went bad. I tried a few more times and it was the same. I was too embarrassed to return it so I kept it in my closet for months. Fast forward, to springtime, I decided to give it another chance. I sprayed it and smelled something much more pleasant than the first time. I can smell the tartness of rhubarb, a slight sweetness coming from the lychee, peony, and rose combined, and a bit of incense. I decided I would use Delina for the entire week and it grew on me every day that I used it. Delina is now one of my favorite fragrances for life! I'm not sure what happened but it took a while to get there and now we are inseparable! Give it a chance, you'll love it too.

livelaughlovelana

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. Beautiful, flowery and feminine fragrance. I can’t stress this enough SO MANY PEOPLE COMPLIMENT ME when I’m wearing Delina. Especially men, so if you want a fragrance that appeals to men this is the one. In the beginning I got a bit nauseous of the flowery smell, but now I am used to it.

ellafragrance

SO beautiful and SO feminine.

glowingsand

This is awful :( seen all the hype on tiktok so I tried it but it’s not for me, VERY strong rose scent if you don’t like rose you will hate this. just smells of old grannies to me the smell is headache inducing, lasts so long too

Maddiemayhem

This is my go to die hard forever fragrance. If I need a fragrance to last I reach for Delina always! Fresh enough for the day and strong enough for night. Smells good in all temperatures imo with a peppery background that trails behind you for hours. I only get an initial blast of tartness the real superstar for me is the ROSE. not your grandmaws rose but a smooth decadent delicious sexy rose. This never goes too powdery on me but I’ve smelled it on people where it does so keep that in mind. I detect no rhubarb though I really don’t know how exactly that smells. I get nutmeg roses and the slightest bit of citrus in the opening (maybe the rhubarb??) and in the dry down it’s almost like a sexy spicy skin with just a touch of rose. This fragrance is loud without demanding a room. I will always love this ! To this day I have not found a fragrance that brings me to my knees the way this one does. I wore this to a casino with smoke and alcohol all around and received so many compliments, a week later when I went to get my clothes out of the bags I packed I could still smell this! I’ve also purchased delina exclusif and I love it as well even though I find it not as long lasting as its sister.

Cherryz

In the air it smells like generic rose water, but starts to develop very nicely on skin. I can smell both rhubarb and litchi making it fruity-fresh. I love the nutmeg with its spicy and earthy presence, it makes the perfume feel much deeper. Rose is in the background, I can't make out other flowers. After some hours I realize that rhubarb is here to stay. It gets a bit annoying with the sourness - it's fighting with rose for attention. Overall the fragrance is quite pleasant and interesting, especially in the beginning, but it's far from a groundbreaking experience.

widowcat

I could write a book about this fragrance. This is perfection in a bottle. I smell literally every note in this as the day goes on, but they all live in perfect harmony. It’s a powdery rose, but not in a way that you’d categorize as “old lady perfume”. In a soft, feminine way. The lychee and other fruits actually show up on me after about 30 minutes and it even begins to smell slightly tropical? The vanilla and incense make this also a little creamy. We all know the longevity and silage on delina is amazing as well. I get well over 12 hours of wear time. To me this smells like the most beautiful girl in the world and that’s truly the best description I have. I know I’ll probably be the only one to say this but delina is 100% worth the hefty price tag. You also don’t need much of it so it will last you quite some time.

Bella0702

Best perfume ever. Thats literally all that needs to be said.
It’s the most beautiful, fruity, floral scent I’ve ever smelt. From the opening to the dry down, it is the most gorgeous scent ever. The longevity and the projection of the perfume is amazing too.

WeedyChick

The second perfume that I’ve found that lives up to its hype (Bianco Latte is the other.) It’s girly but not immature, sweet, floral, delightful and beautiful from top spritz to the skin scent it becomes after insane longevity.

Elisabeth M.

I was done with the sugary fragrances of the last decade (LVEB and Armani Si etc.) and putting Delina in the same category I never gave this perfume a true chance. Until a saleswoman recently introduced me to this scent when I asked her for suggestions for floral scents. Under the sour fruity opening a bouquet of exquisite pink roses blooms for hours, accompanied by creamy musk in the background . The scent gets spicier and a little more mature in the drydown with incense and cedar. A pretty girl scent and so unique. Love it!

annikahuhd

I prefer this over Exclusif but it's still not for me. Kinda pretty but I don't really get the enormous hype around Delinas 😅Lasting power is good, though.

madanaphora

This is a more complex, more mature VS fragrance-- that being said, it's not sexy. Over hyped IMO.

Micarls

This scent made me realize what hyped fragrances can really do to you. My expectations were SO HIGH after hearing comment after comment about how Delina is the girliest, prettiest scent out there. And that's my type of scent! Unfortunately, I think I was let down because of how high my expectations were. I... just don't love it. The opening is so harsh to my nose, and the dry down is okay but nothing I would reach for. Not to mention the insane price point.

It's very interesting, and the longevity is good. I can appreciate a rose scent that is unique and different, it's just not a love. Frankly, none of the other fragrances in the PDM sample set were that amazing to my nose either :( the same thing happened with Baccarat, so I've learned my lesson! I have a feeling though, that if I walk away from the samples for a few months, forget about them, and come back to them, my opinions might change. I'll hang on to them for that reason.

ElliePerfume

The epitome of a princess perfume, beautiful & delicate yet powerful. I understand why many won’t like this as it is such a bold fragrance, whilst still being a people pleaser. To my nose the lychee note has never come across screechy as many say, but rather fresh juicy and young. It transforms the rose from what could be a more mature sexy fragrance (like Delina exclusif) into a youthful sexy and flirty fragrance.
I’m a big advocate for having a fragrance fill up a room, I want people to know I’ve been there and question HOW I smell so good. I’ve never experienced that with any other fragrance like I have with Delina. I don’t need to overspray, I don’t need to sit close to people for them to know how good I smell when I wear this. It creates a cloud of scent around me. Maybe it just works well with my DNA, skin PH or whatever, but I never get attention with any other fragrance I own like I do with Delina. The first fragrance that got me into rose scents, and I would say it’s a good place to start if your scared of a rose scent coming off as ‘older’, suitable for both day or night.

i LOVE this scent. definitely signature quality worthy!
when i can afford to wear this everyday, i will.
for now, it is reserved for weekend outings and special occasions because of the price tag.

love, love love! the ultimate pretty girl scent in a bottle.
every time i wear it, i get compliments.
i live in hot and humid south florida, so a fragrance like this is perfect for the weather here.
it is versatile enough, but since its more of a fresher/frutier scent of course, its best in spring/summer.
although, i love this scent so much that i would 100% wear it all year including fall/winter.

a heavy hitter forsure and a forever staple in my collection ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

I might be part of the minority on this one, but I find Delina absolutely disgusting. The scent chokes me immediately and I cannot get the notes out of the back of my throat. I can’t stop coughing from the moment I smell this fragrance. The ingredients smell incredibly manufactured, and almost toxic. I find all fragrances from this house very unappealing. Additionally, I asked several men about their thoughts on this, and each of them gave it a hard no. This isn’t sexy, it’s revolting.

shannabrowder

I might love this. The scent cloud is intoxicating. On me this is bright and beautiful floral and fruity.
Also, it’s not a dupe, but so close to:
Angel Nova

Tshahb

Very good for the genre (a genre which doesn't really interest me).

Very strong performance, after showering it's still going strong. Is that a good thing? I don't think so.

lisaingrid

This has a very strong sharp metallic note on my skin in the beginning that’s almost unbearable. Like the iron-y taste in blood or biting down on a piece of aluminium foil. It does get weaker over time and disappears at some point, but unfortunately it disqualifies this scent for me.

Sarahkhan007

It’s not a basic rose scent to my nose it’s very tart
The main notes I pick up is lychee and rubarb the rose is veryy faint. It does projects well, very long lasting too. I do like it as a perfume but for me it’s definitely not worth the price. People compares this to angel nova but both of them are quite different imo
Angel nova is a fruity juicy lychee
This is a tart lychee

Naoelyse

Very tart, sharp, almost painfully so since it's so strong. I think its the rubarb and lychee. The top notes are so overpowering that I don't really get a chance to experience the musky creaminess some people describe. I'm keeping it in my collection but I rarely wear it. Even though it's not a favorite of mine, I can appreciate it's legendary status.

Heliodora

Finally got my hands on a sample, and can confirm this has a very strong projection and really good longevity. However.. in terms of this often being named as the best niche rose scent out there, I highly doubt that. The fruity, slightly tart opening is very pleasant, but as soon as it dries down, it becomes mainly just a rose scent and to me smells EXACTLY the same as Jo Malone Red Roses (a scent, that I already have a full bottle of). It's obviously pleasant and I like the scent profile as is, and it does last a lot longer and projects more than Jo Malone for sure, just.. not the groundbreaking rose scent, that I expected, and not FB worthy to me. Cannot pick up on any of the vetiver, incense or cedar, which is a shame.

jdb_

I'm probably going to upset people with this, but someone was PROJECTING this at an event I just worked. I could've sworn she was wearing VS Bombshell before I asked... It just smelled so similar in the air. And someone below mentions a grapefruit vibe which makes sense for Bombshell too! So A+ for performance, but thumbs down for being so expensive and greatly resembling a much more affordable perfume. Maybe try layering VS with rose lotion and voila! (There's a chance she was wearing a flanker. She was like 17 and just said "Uh, like Parfums De Marly...idk what it's called but it's a pale pink bottle.” Why are there multiple pale pink Delina bottles?)

gregorkn

If you like rose scents, you will probably like this. I personally wouldn’t buy it full price, but I did buy a full bottle discounted. It opens with a nice lychee note, smelling very similar to angel nova. This is like that but with more rose coming through to me personally as the day goes on.

Maya lilac

I could potentially upset some fragrance lovers now, but I’m (still) not crazy about Delina!

I managed to get my hands, and nose, on a 2 ml sample of the OG Delina, to test it properly and I am not sure if it deserves the attention it gets or the price it’s being sold for currently…

I own Delina Exclusive for about three years now and I prefer it over Delina, nothing has changed. Sampling it today confirmed that for me. Rose is not my most favourite flower and I have and adore Atomic Rose for about two years. That’s my number one rose scent of all time!!

Delina is not a bad fragrance and it smells feminine, complex and alluring. It is a well crafted blend of flowers, spices and woods.
It’s a seductive blend of pink roses, peonies, whatever petalia note is, nutmeg, rhubarb, vanilla, incense, cedar and musk. Elaborated juice, with layers and depth. This is not a delicate, fresh, young rose. It’s deep, dark and strong smelling. I can objectively say that it is a beautiful rose scent that performs impeccable but it doesn’t do it for me to justify spending so much money on it!

I have already several amazing rose centred fragrances in my collection that I adore, therefore I don’t need this. At this moment in life I’m just not obsessed with rose scents. Would I buy and wear it if I could get it for a decent price or get it as a gift from my husband??? Absolutely yes, but I would not buy it for full price ever!

In all fairness, Delina wins over Atomic Rose in one category only: when discussing the bottle and the overall packaging. I very much prefer Delina’s feminine and delicate pink bottle over Initio’s Atomic Rose dark purple one! Matter of taste, but when buying luxury perfumes presentation matters to some point! Not enough to persuade me to buy a bottle though…

Marie20707

I’m late trying this fragrance as I am extremely picky about rose notes. The dry down has a very slight resemblance to Roses de Chloe, which is my favorite rose fragrance.

Delina smells sort of tart from the rhubarb note in the opening and then it is a somewhat fresh fragrance, which keeps it from smelling dated. It’s cute, but I do still prefer Roses de Chloe as my favorite rosé fragrance.

sidesalad

There's a grapefruitish sharpness that I don't personally enjoy, but never have I felt so adored and complimented that when I wear this - "something smells amazing, I need to know who that is!" followed by a procession of women sniffing me.

MonaMaybe

sweet rosy headache with a cigarette ash drydown

lunarambrosia

Olfactory representation of a child playing dress up as an adult. Lush's Rose Jam is like the stripped down, budget version of this.

zawwarahmad

I try to like this fragrance but.....

top notes: lychee, warm, floral, candy
middle notes: lychee, musky, warm, fruity
base notes: fresh, sweet, tropical, musky (very subtle)

Burberry her elixir beats this when recommending a fruity fragrance. PERIOD. Its not a bad fragrance however, a little pricey for the weak performance it offers. the exclusive helps with performance but value isn't there. Overall: 7.75-8 /10.

cheleine

I’m sorry guys but to me Delina (the EDP, not the Exclusif) feels like a scent suitable for spoiled teenagers/young adults with rich parents. There I said it. I can’t think of anything else.
It’s ultra feminine, smells expensive but also foolish, naive and childish. It’s so…pink and shampoo-like that I can’t really take it seriously as a scent.
Thankfully as it dries down the scent becomes a bit softer…less obnoxious while still - disappointingly - remaining a sickly sweet, turkish delight shampoo.
I hate to give a negative review on a scent, yet I can’t help but wonder… if we all collectively closed our eyes and forgot the stunning pink bottle, forgot the price tag and the name of the niche brand, what would be the first thing that came to mind while sniffing this?
For me it just smells cheap and immature. Pass.

MySkin

It smells like a cheap cologne from my childhood.
Speaking 35-40 years ago. Lol
I'm trying very hard to remember what it was.
An old scent, a bit harsh, sharp and soapy.
Nothing special.
I have way better and worth attention rose perfumes. And I live in Bulgaria, a country of famous rose.
Delina was a fail for me, a big one too.

Dodyboggs

I’ve hesitated getting a sample to try because I dislike sour notes. To my surprise, it did not have that headache inducing sour note when I applied a dab to my skin (my sample is not in s sprayer). It is very strong and lingered on my skin even after a shower. From my experience, this will give me a headache if I over apply it. Thankfully I was able to apply a drop to my arm and not a big spray (I don’t think I could handle spraying this on me as it is bordering on being too strong). This is a pretty fragrance and a big like from me. It’s not full bottle purchase worthy, but perhaps a decant purchase if I miss it.

Frankton

I didn't like this at all when I first tried it. I've just come back to a 10ml sample I have. And wow smooth creamy rhubarb and custard. The top fruity notes disappearer quickly which I like..and it's warming up to be really rather nice!!

Leolia

Tried this 3 yrs ago and hated it. The rhubarb was a big no for me.
I have since tried it again and again and now i get the hype. I can see myself getting a 30ml bottle in the near future. A strong like.

Indignatious83

Like a giant pink rose marshmallow.

nichoa99

The rhubarb and bergamot make it verty tart and sour for the first 5 minutes. I can see how that would be off-putting. The opening reminds me of VS Bombshell a lot. But it dries down fairly quickly into a sweeter rose/rhubarb jam. My grandma makes rhubarb pie all the time with fresh rhubarb from her garden and it reminds me of that tart but sweet jammy filling.

After about an hour it turns to a very pretty dewy rose. I get the fabric softener reference. If it had a powdery note it would smell like Downy April Fresh softener. I love that smell though.

Anyway, it's a very good mix of sexy and alluring but also youthful and bubbly.

SweetMary

Nah. This smells cheap in my opinion, and a bit like fabric softener with far too much perfume.
Not my cup of tea, and not a safe blind buy tbh

jenzel4381

Too tart for me.

Nicole love

I don’t get the hype at all…. Smells cheap amd synthetic. Definitely not worth the price.

yara.xo

my favourite fruit is lychees so naturally i was excited to try this collection, and while it is pretty and fruity it is rather generic for such an exclusive product. and not that long lasting, the potency is not that well.. it’s almost like watery. cute bottle.

Goddess Essence

EVERY SINGLE ONE of this 'Brand' of perfumes smells like toilet water mixed with doughnuts to me. Gross and weird smells being sold for almost 500 bucks a bottle where I live. This kind of wishy-washy toilet trash is proof of how low society has fallen. ZERO points from me. The whole line STINKS. Ok there was one maybe that was just OK. But not at those prices. It's almost like a thought experiment if one likes it and with enough created fake hype, they all think they like it. No wonder men and women no longer 'talk' much to each other anymore. PS I am a rose lover myself and I love powdery scents. Smells like garbage.

Just want to add; I don't hate expensive perfumes IF THEY ARE WORTH IT. There are a couple of Tom Fords I found quite nice though not loves but definitely doable and lovely. They are not like bottles of Joy made with thousands of flowers per bottle-the old ones from back in the day I know nothing of what's going on with it now-, but pleasant enough and long lasting. PDM line IMO is just weird smelling. Wishy-washy like there is just no base for it and for such a price point no-less. It's like a tasteless joke really.

Zerana

I feel like a fairy in a rose garden when i'm wearing Delina. Ultra feminine and sweet but also very strong.

perfumepearl

It's actually not as potent as I thought. I am testing this from PDM sampling set and with a few sprays from the 1,5 ml bottle it is definitely not too strong. It's kinda potent, the Dior basic fragrances potent. It's not as special as people make it seem. It is actually very beautiful. The rhubarb note stands out to me the most and it reminds me of the rhubarb note in English Pear and Freesia (Jo Malone). It's complex and somehow delicate. It's slightly sweet and juicy. The fruits make this kinda "innocent" but it's seductive. I think that it's just so addicting that it's worth the price. It's not synthetic at all. Beats Oriana, for now. I was hoping that the vanilla and incense notes would be more noticeable but they're nonexistent. I think that this will be amazing for spring and summer but I don't see myself wearing this in fall or winter. Also I find this very much daytime scent, it's just not "hot and heavy" for clubbing etc.
I rate this a 10/10 <3

EDIT 19.3.2024
My beautiful 30 ml bottle just arrived! I just love this scent, and decided to make it my signature.

KittyBaditty

I got a sample of Delina with my Delina Exclusif full size, so this is more a comparison...

Delina has more green, fresh rose, and a big burst of tangy fruits and (what must be) nutmeg. It's sour, fresh, and a little earthy. Delina Exclusif is smooth, creamy rose with some woods and amber.

After an hour or so Delina is a clean, sparkling, sweet rose until it fades out around 5-6 hours. Delina Exclusif makes me smell like warm skin fresh out of a bath with rose petals, plus pastries.

Overall, Delina is rose and fruit and freshness, Delina Exclusif is rose and baked desserts and soap.

KT4267

I’ve tried to enjoy this fragrance each time I spray my sample on my skin. It’s almost a work of self-hypnosis “you liiiike this. This is niiiice.” I come close to convincing myself, during the faint sweet wafts I catch, that I do—in fact—like it. Then another waft, a sour note, too much “something” that gives me pause.

On my skin, the screeeeech never subsides. It stands aside occasionally to let the other notes through while it attempts to trick me, seduce me. But no. The sour notes slam back forward.

I tried.

I really did.

LauraVTerrazas

It took me 2 years to finally fall in love with this scent, lol. Crazy right?! I couldn't get past the tartness.
This is a very feminine, fun perfume but I totally get why it could be quite polarizing. I enjoy the body care products of Delina just as much (I actually always liked those)
I'm definitely a fan of all 3 Delina's, however, La Rosee is my favorite version. 💕

jansiri

I blind brought this based on the notes and due to the rave reviews. I actually love the sour citrusy opening but then it quickly disappears into a rose scent. There is a greenness to it in the middle notes, think roses still on bush with their leaves attached. This warms up on the dry down to be a powdery rose and finally i smell woody notes. This is a beastmode fragrance and had insane sillage if that is what you are going for. As a scent overall it is perfectly nice but when you pay this much you dont want to smell just ordinary.

Edit: i have worn this a more now and unfortunately i do not like this. On my skin this quickly turns into an extremely sweet powdery rose. To me this smells both juvenile and also very mature at the same time. Its just not what i am looking for in a perfume at this stage of my life. It is similar to rose scented soap or shampoo so if that is your vibe you may like this.

Bibi16

Loved it when it was released but never got a bottle until last year and decluttered it after 1 week. The combination of the notes is just WAY TOO sharp and powdery to my nose and I cannot! Almost forgot how to breathe when testing this, too much.

@beachyvanillababy, not a bad batch that's exactly what it smells like.

Conclusion: sample first ! La rosée on the other hand is very cute & pretty, I like that one.

beachyvanillababy

Truly don’t understand the hype here, all I get is rose scented baby powder. Same with Exclusif. Maybe I got a bad batch?

AinoKaroliina

Gentle spiciness in the opening. Rhubarb and bergamot are prominent. The bergamot smells natural, I can even sense the scent of the peel, it's a green scent and the nutmeg compliments it well. The florals emerge later, but the tart rhubarb and bergamot are the main players in this fragrance for it's whole duration.

First impression is that this is a nice scent, but I don't see why this has so much hype around it. I will wear this more often and see if I fall in love with it in the future.

ShinningLightOfThunder

It starts like a sparkly, bright rose because of fruits, which is quite lovely, but later it’s just a loud rose, which to me is too much of a rose cloud. It is also not very distinctive. There are similar roses out there.

ashriia

These reviews are quite something. I would assume that this perfume would be non offensive. The notes are rather simple to my nose anyway. One of the comments mentioned "HER". I don't know if they were referring to the Karl Lagerfeld perfume For Her. I actually thought of some similarities between For Her and Delina. Delina is definitely a sweeter floral though. I prefer Delina. It is pretty, feminine...can either be worn during the day or evenings. I wonder if the reviewers are just spraying too much of this perfume. A misting on the inner wrist, and one the bosom is quite enough for me. It has great performance and will last until the following day.

Aduro

REALLY wanted to like this but it’s So gross. And I can’t get the smell off with water and soap. This is not soft and pretty at all. Im shocked at how much I dislike it and I really wanted to like it.
My husband a son both hated it too Got a sample and threw it out. If you do like it, it lasts for an eternity

Patylous1

Any ideas on how I can find a tester or sample of Delina? I am located in Florida, USA.

wondervalley666

An absolutely stunning perfume. The most beautiful rose in a bottle I’ve ever smelled.

That being said, the resale market is **so**overly flooded with fakes/knockoffs. It’s no coincidence that the negative reviews and complaints about short performance started around the time the bottles sold by unknown shady foreign sellers flooded the google shopping results with their counterfeits.

Buy from legit sellers, people. And if you don’t, then don’t post a review for your knockoff here on the official product page. They aren’t the same, even if you can’t tell the difference visually.

It’s a shame the reviews here have seem to become useless, between the fake bottles and all the children who hate flowers due to being raised in artificial environments without exposure to nature coming here to post the same review over and over — “some snake oil salesman desperate for internet virality on tictok told me this would make me cool so I sprayed once and my 19 year old boyfriend who still lives with his mom and doesn’t have a drivers license said I smell like a grandma noooooo!”

There’s a reason this is one of the most popular perfumes in the world. It’s stunning. It may not be exactly your style, but it’s undeniably gorgeous and so well done it’s basically groundbreaking. Rose WAS becoming an out of style “mature” scent, before this came along and changed everything. Now everyone wants/needs a little Quentin Bisch rose in their life. Those who say otherwise are haters and just jealous.

JennieMor

I’m happy to see in the review below mine that all might not be lost for Delina and I. The first time I wore this I felt so incredible nauseated that I had to take a second shower to get this off and it took 12hrs to feel better. I’m going to give it some time and try layering it. It was incredibly overwhelming rose to my nose. I couldn’t smell any of the other notes. I did let this dry for a couple hours before I couldn’t handle it anymore

cctina8

Both my husband and I hated this perfume on me when I first tried my sample of it. I felt nauseous and had to scrub it off. Since it is so hyped up, I wanted to try it again before giving up and the second time it was better but still just okay. Then months later I tried again, and I don’t know what changed but I fell in love! The tart sweetness is just so addicting. The sourness in the opening is a still a little overwhelming for me but the dry down is so so pretty! I kept getting wiffs of it throughout the day and thinking how good it was. I got the full bottle for my birthday and I’m so happy I gave it another chance!

mea194

At first spray I got a lot of a rose and lychee smell. The projection of it was definitely noticeable from more than an arms reach away. It is pleasant and quite feminine. It lasted ALL day for me with a hectic work day and washing my arms a few times throughout the day. It stayed on so that was really impressive! It settled into a dusty powdery rose smell with a hint of fruit. The sweetness came out more over time! It’s pleasant but for the price I don’t think I could get a full bottle of it for myself. Still lovely smell that seems like a crowd pleaser (unless someone hates rose) and I see how others would go for it, but for the price I would expect something way more complex or unique.

cheyguy

The hype got me on this. I got this, and I tried it out for a few days. I got no Litchi, Rhubarb, just a ton of rose. Which is ok, I like rose. But not for the price point. My partner said it smells like "old French lady soap" and I agree. It doesn't feel modern or a new take on rose, it just smells...too mature.

Pickledrose

Spicy fruity rose to start.. "Boss Bottled" to finish.. Just wondered, if Quentin Bisch has kindly "borrowed" the base formula from Annick Menardo and Christian Dussoulier?

Saying that, I do indeed like "Delina": feminine to start, masculine to finish (I love a bit of an old good "Boss Bottled", as it brings some lovely memories from the past). Cedar, vetiver and vanilla lasts for a few hours on my skin. However, rhubarb, lychee, bergamot and rose vanishes within an hour. The fragrance lasts longer on my hair/skin rather than on my cashmere jumper. The emphasis on presentation (bottle) seems to be greater, than the fragrance itself..

Fountain30

I really like Delina
It works under almost any circumstance and is really versatile and is a really happy blend with the rhubarb and litchi at the top.
I’m a man and I wear it often and I know this is one of those scents that a lot of guys like but hesitate to wear.
Put it this way, if you’re traditionally masculine do you stupidly think you’ll be perceived as feminine for wearing this?
It’s hardly a candy sweet gourmand aimed at teenage girls. It’s just a clean, pleasant floral. Suitable for everyone
Wear it and love it.
Longevity is phenomenal and projection can be nuclear if you go heavy on the sprays but if you don’t you’ll create a nice scent bubble for the day.

NadiasmellsGorgeous

This fragrance is HER! I feel like expensive and pretty when I wear it. I get compliments and my boo constantly gets close for sniffs. I smell really good in fruity scents, so this is perfect. I also have the Exclusif (?) which is more powdery. They smell really good when layered together.
This will be my birthday gift from my wife for years to come. I try not to wear it too much, to overdo it. I reach for it whenever I have a pretty outfit. It’s the final accessory.

hirayanaapuhap

I was excited to buy this because of the awesome reviews it got from every fragrance influencers watched, but sadly this is not it. I was hoping to smell the creamy rose most people are talking about but my nose can only pick up rhubarb and litchi. However, when I sprayed it on my sister and my mom, they can smell the cake-like scent that reviews are talking about.

Maybe it's my body chemistry I don't know. It's nauseating to me and I'm so devastated because I badly want to experience what most people do.

Not a safe blind buy.

Cmsed

Very basic, sticky sweet, nothing remarkable and not at all worth the price. There are so many other sweet scents that are more sophisticated and worth it. Yet another over-hyped Tiktok disappointment

SuurkaalsPoeten

I almost blind-bought this one - but thankfully I didn't! I went and tested this in-store instead... and I must say that I am so fascinated by how differents scents and smells appeal to some noses and absolutely doesn't to others. I don't get the hype over this at all. I sprayed one spritz on my wrist and one on a paperstrip. It was an instant headache. I had a long drive ahead of me afterwards and I had not concidered sitting in a small confined space - let alone my ability to drive - wearing this scent. I had to drive with the windows rolled down even on the free-way ;-D. Oh my word!!.. I've never smelled anything like this. I only got soury tartness. A giant ass-whooping in a bottle. I tried washing my arm because the smell simply wouldn't cool off but the smell just lingered and lingered. I also tried to wash the blouse that I was wearing that day, but the sleeve kept smelling of Delina despite severel attempts to was it off. I can't imagine this being this huge compliment-getter that so many are talking about. I just can't imagine this smelling good on anyone, but oh well, I guess it is possible with all the hype.

n.ben885

Honestly, when i first smelt this it was on paper and I don't think i was getting the full feel of this fragrance so I didn't really enjoy it, thought it smelt very bland. Today I randomly decided to smell Delina again on my skin just out of curiosity and WOW. This is the prettiest rose I've ever smelt, I love how it doesn't smell like a heavy strong rose too. Can't believe I didn't like this tbh, will probably be getting a bottle now.

Powerfulpatchouli

Classic under 30’s bridal perfume. The bride is waif like with long hair and honeymooning overseas in one of the current top honeymoon destinations. She will keep her bottle for special occasions and plans to wear it on all the wedding anniversary dinners. She may have met the groom while wearing CH Very Very Good Girl on a girls night out.

simpleahmazing

I feel better about not owning this. The rhubarb makes it very tart and it’s a very strong rose scent. Not impressive.

Glyceryl

I hate this :(
All I get is rose baby powder - no freshness, no fruitiness. It’s not necessarily a mature scent, but I wouldn’t say it’s young either.
I’m sorry if you like this, I just cannot get into it.

Rosiewebber

A fresh and fruity rose, it’s very pretty and feminine. The roses are sweet, but not cloying, there’s an almost aquatic element to the fruits, and underneath it all the barest hint of woods to ground it a little. The price is just crazy though, even for a bottle that pretty.

figgypudding

The marketing for this fragrance is incredible - I have thought about purchasing multiple times despite being underwhelmed by samples. Just tested it again this week. It's a simple rose that's muddled by the other notes. Nice, simple, girly. Not impressive enough to me to justify the price tag.

aynala216

There’s something about Delina that is very unrefined. Something is missing. Although she’s pretty, there should be a woodier base to counteract that annoying sour note. It’s way to harsh to wear. Exclusif is a much better formulation imo.

kkk

It is nice but nothing ground-breaking for me. It reminds me of Aqua Celestia - very very green on my skin, a bit rose and... nothing else.
Very close to the skin, longevity 3 hours max.
Don't really get the hype or the price, or this just isn't for every skin type... sorry.

shery k

smells rose water rose water
and just rose water a little sweet

Anarig97

This perfume feels like I’m having tea on the terrace at the Palace of Versailles. Is that description a bit dramatic? Maybe, but I think it’s quite fitting for such a dramatic scent. I don’t loove it by any means but it definitely has its time and place. I’d love to buy a smaller bottle of this for those occasions where this would come in handy. Sillage and longevity are both amazing. I worked out in this and still smelled it afterward. I understand people’s gripes, especially regarding price, but I do think it’s a pretty scent.

nikaida

Love this scent, don’t love the price. Got the oilperfumery dupe and comparing it next to my Delina decant they are close enough to my nose to make me happy and the dupe wears much closer to the skin (a must for me as I work with smell-sensitive coworkers!!). I think the notes that really sell me on Delina are the litchi and rhubarb, they complement the rose nicely and there’s no awful pink pepper (pink pepper my beloathed) to get in my way. I’d almost categorize this as a fresh rose gourmand. Glad I got the decant and will layer it with my dupe for date nights!

Tiny_bean

I like it, but I think it’s overrated. Maybe because I had such high hopes based on reviews online, it felt like people would sell their soul for this perfume 😆 I get A LOT of rose. I don’t dislike rose, but was hoping for a bit more variety in the scent based on the notes. The most disappointing thing was that it disappeared on my skin after just a few hours. My husband smelled it and was like “meh”. Will use it whenever I just want something fresh that doesn’t stand out too much.

Still think it’s a good non offensive perfume to wear, safe for office and I guess it would suit a very girly girl well.

AmBo

I have a decant. It's fine. I find it a little screechy and too saccharine. I would not shell out the money for this one; Carolina Herrera's Good Girl Blush would do instead.

Fruit-chan

Delina can be very tiresome. After the initial fresh fruity floral fades away, the strong oldschool powdery rose dominates forever.
Kenzo Flower's young sister.

bajablast

fresh rose and sweet lychee on a bed of incense. love it

Daintyangel

I smelled it for the first time since I've seen a lot raving about it and I didn't expect to hate it at all. It lingered on my shirt strong enough to give me a headache, the smell is strong and synthetic to me just a outburst of artificial fruit and flowers. It's a no for me

Ghadah02

When I first had the chance to smell it in 2020, it reminded me of ‘Ch Very Good Girl’. However, ‘Very Good Girl’ is more akin to the Eau de Parfum (EDP), while this scent is more similar to the Eau de Toilette (EDT). It has a pleasant aroma.

chocoshelo

What’s happening to me…I’m beginning to like this smell again… Smells like rosewater (thank you below comment) with added sugar and the tiniest bit of vanilla like you may not even smell the vanilla at all. And it lasts forever

Lovisgrovis

I was really hyped about the fragrance, but when I smelled it from a sample.. it just smell like rosewater. I used to cleanse my face with rosewater some years ago and for he for me it smells just like this. Kinda peppra or strong for some reason, not at all the sweet or delicate rose i imagined from descripsions and reviews. Its a Hard pass for me

MSKMAN

Delina by PDM is my wife's fragrance, but I'm here to talk about it. The fragrance is a beautiful, sweet interpretation of a delicate rose, which is somewhat demure. The fragrance starts sweet, with the Lychee note being very detectable in the opening. As the fragrance settles, it becomes slightly woody, which is surprising. I can't discuss performance because I haven't worn it, but it does get my attention when she wears it.

magpiemay

I was surprised that I liked this. I usually don't like rose scented perfumes because they always end up smelling like musky powdery old lady to me, but given the hype around this I wanted to give it a proper test on my skin, and to my surprise I actually enjoyed it!
The floral opening was lovely and not overpowering. Once it started to dry down and the rose came through it was a really nice modern fresh rose. It didn't give musky old lady rose.
The dry down definitely had a powdery musk but it was very nice and lasted all day on me, I could still smell it on myself at the end of the workday just sitting there, not needing to raise my arm to sniff.
I would say this is suited more for a 30s and up age group of women. I don't think younguns would like this.
Myself, my husband and my mother all said they like it so that's something!
I'm on the fence if I like it enough to pay that much for a full size bottle but ill definitely think about it!

bashak

Lovely but nothing special. Another one that I could never understand why there was so much hype. Smells like Zara kids Cloe to me.

nekozoe

Finally got samples before deciding if I should buy the full bottle. I’m happy to say I loved it!

I got samples of both the original and Exclusif versions to compare. In the original Delina, I get a lot more sweetness from the lychee than the Exclusif. I also get the rhubarb. The original has a soft, beautiful, floral, and sweet smell.

Exclusif has a more intense rose smell. I don’t get any of that soft lychee note anymore for some reason on me. However, it is still a beautiful rose perfume. When it dries down, it’s lovely.

Out of the two, my favorite was the original Delina with the nice lychee fruit opening and soft rose and floral smell. The Exclusif is a bit strong on the rose for me. Both are gorgeous and I’d still wear both if I had full sizes.

I was surprised that I liked the original Delina more. I read reviews saying Exclusif had a “younger” and sweeter smell. However, I actually believe the original Delina is just that.

LilyRose93

As someone who dislikes rose, this is probably the best rose perfume. I tried it at the mall and loved the litchi opening. Rose stays the longest and sickening for me but I can see how people who are into it would absolutely love it. I feel like people who wear this perfume needs to fit the vibes. I don't. So glad I'm not into it otherwise the price tag would have put me in a coma.

Flared Maple

A couple of months ago I tried this and loved it.
For some reason after trying it again it was A LOT more tart than I expected it to be.
It smelled like bergamot and rhubarb for a couple of hours and then turned into a soft, but tart rose scent, reminiscent of Chloe.
Honesly I’m kindof disappointed, but I’ll wear it a couple more times before writing it off completely. maybe I need to let it stand for a little bit..

mschroe090

it's certainly expensive but a beautiful fragrance nonetheless. It's a rose scent to it's core but the Rhubarb and Litchi give it a sour and sweet kick that really makes it unique. I'm not sure I'd pay the $350+ but there are no good dupes so I might have to invest. All in all it's a beautiful spring, feminine scent that has a charming blend of notes that are sure to get compliments.

tanny_ups

I bought a 30ml bottle at Dubai mall, as Delina was - somehow- my dreamed perfume. However, I am not sure if it’s long lasting or if it projects. It is expensive, yes it is, and I hope it worth the hype! By now, I don’t have any other perfume in my Wishlist!

AlexandriaCleopatra

Well, having already "Darlene" by Ard Al Zaafaran, which is apparently inspired by this perfume, I had to try it!!!!!! Hmmmm. Let's just say, I will stick to the cheaper version. This started well. I could pick out the rhubarb, bergamot and nutmeg with a sweetness from the lychee but, shortly thereafter, rose, rose and more rose, I don't think we got to the vetiver, oud, cashmeran, or, if we did, it was overpowered by the rose. I will not be splashing my hard earned cash on this overpriced juice. The Arabian similar scent, to me, is better balanced and the notes harder to pick out, still rose but, softer. Definitely a no, from me. Sorry Mason de Marly!!!!!!

Danimcc90

Delina = potpourri. Put it in a fancy bottle and charge a BOMB. It’s that simple.

katiejon

Maybe it’s the rhubarb.
That sour note turns my stomach, I actually feel nauseous.
I WANT to like it. I want to experience it how all you die-hards do.
I have tried (and tried, and tried).
And I love Rose.
Atomic Rose is wonderful to me - it’s like Delina, but without that sour note.

terezzz

Delina is the epitome of subtle sensual feminine power. It's a head turner, complement getter and lasts 12+ hours on skin and even longer on fabric. I wore this perfume when I first met my boyfriend 3 years ago and he was mesmerised!! Said he's never smelled anything like it, that the smell lingered in his apartment and on his t-shirt which made our meeting more unforgettable. Even strangers have stopped me telling me how good I smell and asking what it is (and I live in Scandinavia so people here don't usually go out of their way to comment on perfume LOL). Delina is almost considered mainstream now since so many are using this, which makes me a little sad, but it's hands down one of the most INCREDIBLE scents for me.

jasmine1982

So I am not a perfume expert but I do love collecting good perfumes. I bought Delina when a famous fragrance youtuber made a video about it. i was curious and had to try it. Anyway, I've had my Delina for few years now and I just wanna say that every time I wear it, there's always someone complimenting me and asking me what perfume I am wearing. I've had a few conversation with strangers all about it because they want all the info. Also, I was shopping at a store one time and this lady finally chased me down and asked me what perfume I was wearing. She really loved it and she just had know what perfume I was wearing. It makes me feel good when I get compliments when I am wearing a perfume because I know they are a keeper. Delina is definitely the one that sets the bar high for me when it comes to compliments and I love wearing it because none of the people around me wears it. ;-)

Yessamin

Delina is a really nice jammy rose gourmand.

angelica4444

She’s my beloved princess. The best perfume on earth for me.

perfumejunkie77

Yawn. Sorry, I know people go nuts over this and I'm fan of Quentin's work but this is so expected. I'm wearing this today and here's my honest reaction to it. The rose note is fine. It's fresh, fruity and has a bit of bite from the rhubarb but the opening of lychee and peony just felt so juvenile to me. One could argue this is for a younger demo but could a younger demo afford this? The fruity, sweet opening evaporates quickly, thank god, and a nice rose/rhubarb note appears for the next hour. But Delina settles quickly (too quickly) on a basic base of white musk/vanilla/vetiver. But a super cleaned up vetiver like the molecule vetiverol (which is powdery). It's nice, of course, but I just want to mess up its perfectly coiffed hair. I want to shake it and say "loosen up"! It's like an uptight, park avenue rich snob who desperately needs you know what.

Ladylannae

Okok, so I don't know why I bought a 5ml of this knowing it was a rose perfume. I guess I did it so I could try it and have my own opinion. I'm not a rose girly. I'm barely a floral girly. I don't like overpowering floral perfume. I've smelt so many unlikable rose/floral scents I'm kind of picky. That being said this is truly a beautiful perfume. Very feminine. It's got beastly projection but still somewhat soft. I love every other element in this fragrance, and despite rose not being a scent I enjoy, I still enjoy this perfume. It makes me feel pretty.

I'd like to give it a go in spring.

Netarpearl

To me this smells like a generic vintage perfume. It's very strong - I can taste this perfume if I spray it on me more than once. I like it enough to finish my sample but I won't miss it when it's gone.

sincerelystefanie

This scent exudes class and elegance. It's my signature scent.

Caramel lady

I’m not into floral/rose scents at all but this one is done well.
I own Delina La Rose which I can really enjoy due to the water note making it lean aquatic, it’s in my “fresh” category.

Delina, as beautifully feminine as you are, you give me a headache - quite literally.
When sampling I leaned towards the idea of owning a small bottle (I’m a big bottle gal or nothing), just because it’s gorgeously feminine and pretty scent that I’d wear occasionally.

However, the migraine you triggered had me back away quite quickly. I’m typing this as I’m cosied up on the sofa trying to self-medicate.

To the ladies that wear it, I’ll enjoy it vicariously through you 🌸

ginandrice

A multifaceted rose delicacy. Girlishly elegant and deceptively complex.

The hyper-smooth sweetness of the lychee is wonderfully balanced by the warm, fuzzy texturality of both the nutmeg and cashmeran. The rhubarb and bergamot are tangy and bright, but they're unobtrusively grounded by incense and cedar. And the rose sits at the very heart, effortlessly pretty; an elegant fulcrum-point that conjoins all of Delina's facets into one sweet, prismatic whole.

Delina embodies a kind of girlish joie de vivre that is as fitting and lovely on a mature woman who is bright-eyed and young at heart as it is on a young woman with a charming laugh and rosy cheeks.

It's easygoing but also elegant, and youthful but not immature.

chocoshelo

😐
pretty sure I’ve smelled this scent dna once or twice before from some cheap brand. Is it the pink bottle ladies? I love me some baby pink too but… I’ve got a sample bottle that’s been macerating for about a year now, didn’t love it then, don’t love it now. Now can somebody point me to a good ass gourmand because i guess I’m just not a floral dominant girly.

doormouse1

To me, this smells very much like Soft from Al Rehab - the perfume oil not the spray version. Considering the difference in the price, I think I'll stick to cheap-as-chips-but-delectable Soft.....

Merf21

I tried Delina exclusive and it smelled like burning plastic...I thought maybe it had been swapped in the store. I tried Delina and same thing...this was a full bottle in the store. It reminds me of the fresh spray of a skunk- that burning rubber smell(I had a dog that unfortunately got sprayed by a skunk- thats how I know). It is awful for me. Need to wash it off.....

carrico1986

This is the rose perfume I've been searching for! After being letdown by numerous "rose" perfumes in the past, this one hits the mark for me! It's sweet but not sickeningly so. It's also got that fresh cut, straight out of the garden scent. It reminds me of an english garden in the early morning. I've tried portrait of a lady and that is a dirty, musty rose. I've tried rose rush by Paris Hilton and that is a boozy, fizzy rose. I've tried just me by Paris Hilton, that is more of a musky rose, I've tried numerous others as well but this is the winner for me!

samaracopernicus

I got a free sample of this a while ago and just gave it a try. I thought it smelt good so wanted to have a look at the notes and was shocked when I saw the bottle because I know these are expensive. I could not possibly justify the price for this. I'm not rich there's no way I'd ever pay this much for a fragrance that smells so.. normal. I mean it's good. But so are cheaper perfumes. I'm still new to this world so I don't know if I can give a good review but it's a pleasant scent, it's beautifully rosy and floral in a sense that is a touch mature but not old-lady-like. There's a bit of vanilla in there somewhere to me and it's not overwhelming at all. It's great but would break my bank. I wouldn't pay more than $100 AUD for it..

eliseisabella1

I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone likes this perfume. Hands down the WORST thing I’ve ever smelled 🤮 the first time I sprayed I literally gagged. I gave it another couple chances but still had the same reaction. Maybe it’s my body chemistry but the way it smells on skin is the same way it smells in the bottle. Smells like the cheapest old lady bathroom potpourri. I am a HUGE fragrance lover and love all different kinds of notes and smells but this combination is terrible. I cannot imagine spending $400 for it.

Silverbell

Smells like real roses but has something sharp to it, almost like fresh cut grass. It bothers me really much to the point I can't stand it. If it wasn't for the sharp bergamot note I would totally get this fragrance, it's really feminine and powdery but it's the bergamot that ruins it all. I don't get the hype, at all.

tanaC

Delina Parfums de Marly
(Skin test)

Delina for me is Floral Amber fragrance.
There is intensive vanilla base that enhance longevity significantly.

The magical of Delina is how the fragrance still dew yet long lasting.
And mostly stay true to Rose manner.

This has the best of both world.
I would definitely love to own.

Score 9/10

Julipet

If this perfume were a word, the word would be “Lovely.” First of all, this is a rose scent, very much so, for rose lovers only. It smells like a beautiful fresh flower in a luxurious mahogany room. The rose rests on a luscious woody base and is amplified by the incense, but it’s a realistic rose all the way, maybe even with a touch of essential oil intensity. Sweet vanilla comes through after several hours. I haven’t experienced lychee and rhubarb, but lychee the fruit always reminded me of rose jam, so maybe I just don’t feel the difference.

At some point, it reminded me of Rammstein Rosenrot Intense, maybe with less of a dramatic retro mood. Longevity is commendable, over 12 hours. Even the next day, I catch traces of it in my hair despite wearing another perfume.
This is an understated luxury, like a designer sheer rose silk dress. It’s a timeless beauty, an old-money esthetic if you like. I can imagine a modern duchess or princess wearing this with her elegant pastels. Very clean, prim, and feminine, it isn’t loud but has a magnetic presence.

I’ve got a decant as a gift from a fellow perfumista, but I can imagine acquiring a bottle. Simple and lovely.

Nichole FZA

If you love this perfume, buy it. If you "like" this and does not "love"it enough to pay for the price tag, look for The Woods Collection-Bloom. You're welcome.

I bought Bloom first, at that time I had not tried Delina yet. It was an ok experience, it's a good fragrance just that I am not a rose type of girl however I still bought a Delina decant later out of curiosity. Man....Is that even legal? I mean these 2 smell like they are twins 😅 They smell the same and hardly can tell them apart unless you really put your effort. Just like seeing identical twins.

By the way, TWC has a good Layton dupe as well. Ok bye

thefrenchie

« btw, I don’t know what you’re wearing, but you smell amazing » my male colleague said. I’ve received 3 compliments from 3 different people that day. I was wearing delina and lush twilight

Icepeak

Smells like roses...that's it. Never got the hype tbh, very simple fragrance. Lasts pretty long, like 3h on skin but other than that - meh.

Mia80

Delina is delightful. Pure beauty. Very feminine and pleasant. It's one of the masters. Yet, there is something there not so sweet, hard to guess what.

Deliza1997

To me It's a very sophisticated, soft and delicate perfume.Every one will notice you without being thrown directly on their faces. You can wear it everyday throughout the year and smell like a queen.

Emoody

Please, y’all who enjoy this need therapy no offense! How is this even a perfume? Before smelling it, it was how I imagined fat amy on pitch perfect would smell like when she’s doing cardio on a very hot day sprinkling herself rose water on her sweaty head and body to keep herself cool. Overwhelming for the hype it gets. A BIG PASS FOR ME

frag_nostalgia

It's a bit soapy for my taste, but it's nice to have an authentic rose option which isn't a gourmand or dripping in patchouli. A pretty, ultra femme rosewater chypre, with the added interest of nutmeg. The tart fruits keep it from being too sweet. Simply a fresh, bright, youthful pink rose.

Edit -- I layered this with Oud for Greatness, and wow... nutmeg on nutmeg, with the complexity of saffron and lavender in addition to a fresh pink rose *made something so incredibly beautiful* I just had to note it here. ♥️

Juhhcarneiro2

I blind buy delina, and OMG thats is not what I was expecting, I'm a fan of powdery perfumes, and I hate sugary perfumes, I dont know what i was thinking when I blind buy this one. l can't stand, If you like sugary perfumes this is for you. For me this is a no, I pass, sorry delina but athalia is the best.

maidenhead

i swear to god this just smells like bread. "princessy," "feminine," "intoxicating"—what? it's bread that someone sprinkled a few drops of very good girl onto.

Wraithmanxiv

This is what happened if you mix encre noire and atomic rose together

annamal

I LOVE IT. I was always kinda sceptical about this perfume. But, while travelling to Budapest, I've decided to buy some small perfumes to try, as I usually like associating one with the specific event/place in my life. They only had Delina in 10 ml. Well, I have decided to give it a try. And OMG I didn't realise I would fall so hard for this one, I used this small bottle in a month.
They are super "cold" perfumes, but at the same time sweet and refreshing, so yummy and fun. I am a huge gourmet regarding perfumes and sometimes it is hard to find something sweet and not-edible for summer. This is it: perfect cold, sweet, refreshing summer perfume. Not citrusy, not green, not aquatic but fruity! This is definitely for me, gonna buy full bottle for summer

I have been wearing this off and on for a couple of years now and while it is very nice, on my skin it is unremarkable. I don't get much depth in this at all but what I do get on my skin is a juicy sweet rose. I have both Delina and Atomic Rose which are somewhat similar, but Atomic Rose works much better on my skin. I'm not saying I don't enjoy wearing Delina or that I dislike it, it just doesn't come across as complex/interesting on me, as it seems to do on others.

I want to love it but on me it`s like a tiny drop of 66 Avenue by Maïssa and Especially Escada Delicate Notes had a baby. I loved once last one so much but absolutely hate first one, it`s just so loud. So confusing. But suspecting that this is going to grow on me. Definitely for colder weathers for me.
