With Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, George Lucas brings his second Star Wars trilogy to a suitably thrilling and often poignant -- if still a bit uneven -- conclusion.

Namrata Joshi Outlook The technical wizardry, the special effects, the ear-buzzing sound, the mind-numbing action and those magnificent light-sabres are all there. Rated: 3/4 Jan 8, 2019 Full Review Evan Williams The Australian The special effects, of course, are incomparably good and the digital photography achieves a dazzling clarity. Rated: 4/5 Dec 15, 2015 Full Review Philippa Hawker The Age (Australia) It soon becomes obvious that there is no avoiding the burden of predictability: there is nothing, essentially, in the film's story that we don't know already. Rated: 2.5/5 Nov 16, 2015 Full Review Christian Eulinberg InSession Film This might come as a shock to most fans out there, but this is my favorite Star Wars story of all time. Sep 26, 2023 Full Review Rob Gonsalves Rob's Movie Vault Given a hundred years of cinema language with which to make us feel Anakin’s turn, to make us experience his dread and suffering, Lucas decides instead to play in the sandbox of the future. Rated: C- Sep 19, 2022 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies It’s a fantastic conclusion to the prequels and a satisfying segue to the classic original films. Bryan This is the best Starwars movie of all the time the cinematography was perfect everything about this movie is perfect the originals and sequels Got nothing on this movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/05/24 Full Review BkdPotato Best Star Wars film ever made Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/20/23 Full Review Alex A Now this is a Star Wars movie. Awesome action, great character moments, iconic battles, decent effect... this is truly a phenomenal Star Wars movie. The character moments are so well-done you really feel for all of them, the acting is improved, the dialogue is way better than the other 2 films, it has some iconic scenes from the saga, a wonderful score... all in all, it has all the elements to be the best Star Wars movie of all time, but it does have some big problems. Anakin's transformation feels way too sudden, the creation of the greatest film villain of all time needed to feel a little bit more organic and natural. The romance is still pretty sappy (though thankfully not as much as the last one), some of the acting is a little weird and there's still a lot of talking. But this movie still goes hard, it's still a fantastic adventure filled with amazing action, iconic moments and tearful scenes. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/26/24 Full Review Audience Member Sensational! The script and the overuse of CGI are the only bad parts. We get tons of action(Dooku vs Anakin, Yoda vs Emperor…do I need to go on?) And the last 20 minutes are epic! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/24/24 Full Review João Paulo M O filme é bem construído e tem só a melhor luta da história dos cinemas Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/24/24 Full Review Jason D This is the best of the prequel trilogy what a blast from start to finish and very action packed The road to the acolyte Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/23/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
